Age and Growth of the Yellow Goosefish, Lophius litulon (한국근해 황아귀, Lophius litulon의 연령과 성장)

  • Age and growth of the yellow goosefish, Lophius litulon, were studied using samples collected from the southwestern waters of Korea. Vertebrae of the fish had relatively clear annuli on their surface. The opaque zone of vertebrae was formed once a year between March and April. The oldest fish observed in this study was 8 years old for females and 5 years old for males. The relationship between the radius (R) of vertebral centrum and total length (L) was as follows: L=12.7+4.8R for females and L=9.8+5.6R for males. The relationship between total length and body weight (W) was as follows : $W=0.0089L^{3.0311}$ for females and $W=0.0329L^{2.7752}$ for males. Growth in length of the fish was expressed by the von Bertalanffy's equation as $L_t=127.60(1-e^{-0.1228(t+0.3851)})$ for females and $L_t=82.23(1-e^{-0.1832(t+0.6431)})$ for males.

Comparison of health care practice, dietary behavior, and nutrient intakes, considering the alcohol drinking status of industrial workers in the Chungnam area (충남지역 일부 산업체 근로자의 알코올섭취 수준에 따른 건강관리 실천, 식행동 및 영양소 섭취상태 비교)

  • Purpose: This study was undertaken to identify the alcohol drinking status of industrial workers, their health care practice, and dietary behavior, as well as their nutrient intake. Methods: In July 2019, 220 male subjects working in the Chungnam area were enrolled in the study. Their alcohol drinking status was evaluated by applying the Alcohol Use Disorder Identification-K (AUDIT-K) system. Demographic characteristics, status of health care practice, and dietary behaviors were assessed using a self-administered questionnaire; nutrient intakes were analyzed using 24-hour recalls. Data were analyzed by applying χ2-test, ANOVA, Duncan test, and Pearson's correlation analysis with SPSS v. 25.0. Results: Workers were classified by their alcohol drinking status as 'normal' (84, 38.2%), 'problem drinker' (45, 20.5%), 'alcohol dependence I' (60, 27.3%), and 'alcohol dependence II' (31, 16.0%). The alcohol drinking status showed significant differences with age (p < 0.05), monthly income (p < 0.05), smoking status (p < 0.05), and need for weight control (p < 0.05). Moreover, increased alcohol intake resulted in significantly decreased levels of health care practice and dietary behaviors (p < 0.05, p < 0.01, respectively). The energy intake was highest in the 'alcohol dependence I' group, followed by 'alcohol dependence II', 'problem drinker', and 'normal drinker' (p < 0.05). Intakes of vitamin E, vitamin C, and niacin in the 'alcohol dependence I' group were found to be higher than the other groups (p < 0.05). A negative correlation was obtained between alcohol drinking status, health care practice, and dietary behaviors, whereas a positive correlation was determined between alcohol drinking status, energy and water intakes. Conclusion: Considering these results, we conclude the necessity to consider nutritional and alcoholic education programs for improving the quality of work life of industrial workers, based on their alcohol drinking status.

  • 서해안 중부 아산만 안쪽에 위치하는 평택·당진항에서 장래 개발 예정인 면적 6.9km2의 내항2공구 수역은 내항2공구 외곽호안 - 내항가호안 - 내항2공구 중앙 분리호안으로 둘러싸여 있으며, 투수성 제체인 내항가호안 사석 공극을 통하여 해수가 유통되어 조석 현상이 나타나고 있다. 2020년 8~9월의 2개월간 내항2공구 외곽호안 내·외측에서 조석 관측 결과, 2공구 수역의 최대 조차는 1.97m로서 외측 해역 최대 조차 9.79m의 20.1%이고 내·외측의 순간 수위차는 최대 5.82m에 달한다. 내항가호안은 내항2공구 개발이 거의 완료되는 시기까지 유지될 예정이므로 2공구 개발에 따른 내측 조차와 내·외측 수위차의 변화를 정확하게 예측하는 것은 내항가호안 제체 안전에 매우 중요하다. 이 연구의 목적은 장래 개발단계별 변화 예측에 앞서, 관측이 이루어진 2개월간의 실시간 내측 조석과 내·외측 수위차 시계열을 Delft3D-Flow를 이용하여 기 구축된 아산만 수치모델에서 재현하는 것이다. 내항가호안 제체 통과 유량은 내·외측 수위차에 비례하는 것으로 가정하고, 수위차 - 유량 관계식을 도출하였다. 수위차는 평택 조위관측소와 내항2공구 수역의 1분 간격 관측 조위로부터 산출하였고, 제체 통과 유량은 내측 조위(z, 평택항 DL 기준, m) - 수용적(V, 106m3) 관계식으로 계산하였다. 내측 조위 - 수용적 관계식은 수심측량 성과로부터 V = 0.28z2 + 3.73z + 2.96 (r2=1.00)으로 얻어졌다. 다양한 함수식의 적합성을 검토한 결과, 다음과 같은 수위차(𝚫z, m) - 제체 통과 유량(Q, m3/s) 관계식을 도출하였다. [내항가호안 내측으로 유입시] $Q_{IN}=\{\begin{array}{lll}{\exp}\{0.54\;{\ln}({\Delta}z)+6.00\}&&\text{; }{\Delta}z{\leq}1.8\\219.82{\Delta}z+158.56&&\text{; }{\Delta}z>1.8\end{array}\;\;(r^2=0.86)$ [내항가호안 외측으로 유출시] QOUT = -exp{0.44 ln(-𝚫z) + 5.70} (r2=0.59) 매 𝚫t 마다 제체 통과 유량을 계산하는 알고리즘을 Delft3D 소스 코드에 추가하고, 8개 분조 합성조석(M2, S2, K1, O1, N2, K2, P1, Q1)을 외력조건으로 설정하여 2개월간 조석 수치모델링을 수행하였다. 내항2공구 수역의 매 시별 조위 관측치와 모델치를 비교한 결과, 오차는 -0.37~0.37m의 범위이고, 오차 평균은 0.02m, 절대오차 평균은 0.08m로 상당히 정확하게 실시간 조위 변동을 모의하였다. 보정·검정된 이 모델을 이용하여 향후 내항2공구 개발에 따른 내측 조석과 내·외측 수위차 변화에 대한 예측모의를 진행할 예정이다.

Characterization of the Three Dimensional Roughness of Rock Joints and Proposal of a Modified Shear Strength Criterion (암석 절리의 3차원 거칠기 특성화와 수정 전단강도 관계식의 제안)

  • Surface roughness profiles were measured from 19 joint samples using a laser scanner, and Joint Roughness Coefficient (JRC) values were calculated from 30 sections in each sample. Although JRC values varied with the location of the section, the average JRC values from any three sections provides an adequate representation of the average JRC value for the entire surface well. Direct shear tests were performed on nine joints reproduced using molds of real joints in samples of gypsum. The peak friction angles (${\phi}_p$) showed a linear relationship with the average JRC values, yielding the following relationship: ${\phi}_p=41.037+1.046JRC$. However, the shear strengths measured by direct shear tests differed from those calculated using Barton's criterion. The relationship between calculated from direct shear tests and JRC measured from joint surfaces is defined as $JRC_R=f{\cdot}JRC$, and the correction coefficient f is was calculated as $f=3.15JRC^{-0.5}$, as calculated by regression. A modified shear-strength criterion, is proposed using the correction coefficient, ${\tau}={\sigma}_n{\cdot}tan(3.15JRC^{0.5}{\bullet}{\log}_{10}\frac{JCS}{{\sigma}_n}+{\phi}_b)$. This criterion may be effective in calculating the shear strength of moderately weathered rock joints and highly weathered rock joints with low strength and ductile behavior.

A Wideband 3dB Quadrature Coupler Design Using N-Section Parallel-Coupled Lines (N단 평행 결합 선로를 이용한 90$^{\circ}$광대역 3dB결합기 설계)

  • 본 논문에서는 N개의 평행 결합선로를 이용한 3dB 결합기를 해석하였으며, 유도된 식에 의하여 최소의 단수와 크기로 3dB 결합기를 설계하였다. 기존의 Spectral Domain상에서 N단 평행 결합선로의 복잡한 관계식 유도를 S 파라미터 관계식으로 간단히 유도 하였으며, 유도된 식의 타당성을 위해 실제 제작 검증하였다. 제작된 결합기는 Loose coupling의 평행 결합 선로의 광대역 특성을 그대로 이용하기 때문에 Lange Coupler와 같은 높은 임피던스와 Tight coupling을 구현 할 필요가 없으며, wire bonding도 용이하게 된다. 최소의 단수로 구현하기 위해 RT/Duroid의 R06006과 같은 높은 유전율과 두꺼운 기판을 사용하여 2단으로 3dB 구현이 가능하게 하였다. 제작결과 3.6GHz에서5.5GHz로 대략 42%(0.5dB imbalance) 정도의 광대역특성을 가지고 위상오차도 1$^{\circ}$내외의 결합기를 구현할 수 있었고 격리도 특성 또한 대역 내에서 15dB 내외의 특성을 보였다.

  • 순환식 펄라이트 재배에서 오이의 양액흡수는 일사량 변화와 관계없이 단위 일사량당 흡수량이 80-100mgㆍMJ$^{-1}$까지 증가 후 일정하게 유지되어 양액흡수 지표는 전체 양액흡수량보다 단위일사량당 양액흡수량이 더 적합하였다(Fig. 1). 오이의 엽장$\times$엽폭 수치와 실측 엽면적과의 관계는 Y=-16.87+0.987x+5E-5x$^2$의 회귀식을 구할 수 있었으며 $r^2$=0.89의 높은 정의 상관을 보였다. NO$_3$$^{-}$ -N의 흡수량은 초기에 3mgㆍMJ$^{-1}$에서 후기 16mgㆍMJ$^{-1}$로 상승하였고 Ca는 초기에 3mgㆍMJ$^{-1}$에서 후기에 14mgㆍMJ$^{-1}$로, Mg는 초기에 1mgㆍMJ$^{-1}$에서 후기에 5mgㆍMJ$^{-1}$로 증가되었으나, 정식 후 62일 이후의 증가세가 둔화되었다. K는 초기에 5.0mgㆍMJ$^{-1}$에서 후기 18mgㆍMJ$^{-1}$로 증가되었으나 지속적인 증가를 보여주지 못하였는데 이것은 오이의 하엽 제거로 인한 결과로 생각되어진다. 그러나 P는 초기에 0.5mgㆍMJ$^{-1}$에서 후기에 3.2mgㆍMJ$^{-1}$로 지속적으로 증가되었다. S는 초기에 0.5mgㆍMJ$^{-1}$에서 중기에 6.5mgㆍMJ$^{-1}$까지 증가되다가 후기에 2.7mgㆍMJ$^{-1}$로 감소되었다(Fig. 2). 오이의 각각의 무기이온 흡수량과 가장 상관이 높았던 요소는 정식일수와 엽면적이었으며 이 두 요소와 단위일사량당 양액흡수량과는 $r^2$=0.92, 0.97로 높은 상관을 보였다(Table 1). 단위일사량당 양액흡수량을 이용한 각각의 무기이온 흡수량 회귀식은 $r^2$=0.8 이상으로 높은 상관관계를 보여 실용적 이용이 가능할 것으로 보였다(Fig. 3).

  • Age and growth of stone flounder kareius bicolortus in approaches to Kyongyolbiyolto of Yellow sea were studied by otolith reading of 248 fishes from September 1992 to August 1993. Examination of the ourter margins of the otoliths showed that th hyaline zone as annulus was formed once a year and that its formation was completed at the end of the spawning season(Jan. to Feb.). Growth of the fish was expressed by the von Bertalanffy's equation as Lt=313.7[1-exp{-0.463(t+0.0704)}] for males and Lt=478.6[1-exp{-0.286(t-0.1619)}] for females, where Lt is body length in mm and It is age in years. It was found that growth of males and females differs, with the females showing a higher growth than the males. Growth in body weight was also examined. The oldest fish were seven years old for males and females.

  • This study conducted a survey and emperical analysis of SNS based consumer experience visits to eat out companies. A total of 350 questionnaires were collected of which 28 were deemed unreliable, leaving 322 responses to be used in the analysis. SPSS 22.0 was employed to carry out frequency analysis, factor analysis, and reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. First, choose eat out properties multiple regression analysis on the impact on customer satisfaction, overall explanatory power of the regression equation $R^2=.521$ (adjusted $R^2=.515$) and F values were analyzed statistically significant the influence of the positive (+) with 86.325 p=0.000 and the regression equation. Content type pursuit of independent variables (B=0.540, p<0.001), seeking safety type (B=0.292, p<0.001) were significantly appeared showed the influence of the positive (+), Pursuit convenience-type (B=0.071, p<0.001) and the pursuit of dignity type (B=0.002, p<0.001) the sub-showed the influence of (-). Second, the multiple regression analysis on the impact on customer satisfaction to others is recommended explanatory power is $R^2=.539$ (adjusted $R^2=.538$) and F values are analyzed by a statistical regression equation p=0.000 and 374.765 in significance showed that the model fit the regression line. Customer satisfaction is the independent variable was the influence of the positive (+) to (B=0.540, p<0.001).

  • A Synthetic unit hydrograph method was suggested for the representation of a direct runoff hydrograph with empirical geomorphologic laws and geomorphologic parameters by applying geomorphologic instantaneous unit hydrograph theory and Rossois results of application of GIUH theory to the Nash Model which is a linear reservoir model. The shape parameter m and scale parameter k can be derived by the Horton's empirical geomorphologic laws $R_A,R_B,R_L$ when ordered according to Strahler's ordering Scheme, main stream length and using the maximum velocity for the dynamic characteristics of a river basin, The derived response function was tested on some observed flood datas and showed promising. For the determination of the shape parameter m, eq. (16) was showed applying and m showed a good regression with the size of basin area.

  • The purpose of the study was investigated the convergence relationship between knowledge, attitude and confidence to cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) in dental hygienists. To measure knowledge, attitude and confidence in CPR a structured questionnaire survey was carried out by 234 dental hygienists in Jeonbok area. from January to June, 2017. Date were analysis using SPSS 21.0 by ANOVA and Pearson's correlation coefficients. There was positive correlation between CPR knowledge and attitude by way of education, Knowledge and confidence(r=.25, r=.40, r=.19). Dental hygienist had low level of knowledge and confidence toward CPR. It is important to educate basuc life support(BLS) provider program to the dental hygienist.
