Spectral analysis is used to determine the frequency of time series data. We first determine the frequency of the series through the power spectrum or the periodogram and then calculate the period of a cycle that may exist in a time series. Estimating the frequency using a Bayesian technique has been developed and proven to be useful; however, the Bayesian estimator for the frequency cannot be analytically solved through mathematical equations and may be handled numerically or computationally. In this paper, we make an inference on the Bayesian frequency through both resampling a parameter by Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methods and resampling data by bootstrap methods for a time series. We take the Korean real estate price index as an example for Bayesian frequency estimation. We have found a difference in the periods between the sale price index and the long term rental price index, but the difference is not statistically significant.
This descriptive study was done to investigate the degree of knowledge and attitudes, the need of health education, and the relationship between knowledge and attitudes concerning AIDS in senior high school students. The data was collected from 386 senior high school students(200 boys, 180 girls) in K city. The data was gathered by a self reporting questionnaire, from Nov. 22nd to the 30th, 1995. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of metabolic syndrome and to find related factors according to the number of metabolic syndrome diagnostic components in Korean adolescents. Methods: The subjects of this study were 469 Korean adolescents aged from 12 to 18 enrolled in the 2016 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Statistical package R 3.4.2 was used for programming to apply diagnostic criterion of adolescent metabolic syndrome and for the analysis of the data such as weighted frequent analysis, weighted mean analysis and complex sampling design logistic regression analysis. Results: For adolescents 12 to 18 years of age, 2.55% had more than 2(${\geq_-}3$), 9.88% had more than 1(${\geq_-}2$) and 33.17% had more than 0(${\geq_-}1$) metabolic syndrome diagnostic components. It has been found that risk factors for no less than 2 metabolic syndrome diagnostic components were higher body mass index and higher stress, and risk factors for no less than 1 were higher body mass index, younger teenager and female. Conclusion: Obesity is the primary risk factor for the development of adolescent metabolic syndrome. Female or younger teenager are more likely to have one or more metabolic syndrome diagnostic components, and higher stress develop to the risk level of having two or more metabolic syndrome diagnostic components. Therefore, it is important to focus on obesity and stress management for the prevention and control of Korean adolescent metabolic syndrome.
Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the healthcare utilization behavior of patients visiting the department of Korean internal medicine in the Korean medicine hospital of Wonkwang University in Jeon-ju from July 2018 to June 2021. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the medical records of 26,108 patients and sorted the data by period, month, visiting types, new or returning types, sex, and age group. IBM SPSS 26.0 and the R 4.05 'changepoint' package were used with various statistical methods, such as Independent t-test, Mann-Whitney test, Chi-square test, Simple regression analysis. The P-value was set at 0.05. Results and Conclusions: Females outnumbered males regardless of period, and the ratio of females fell after COVID-19. Regardless of visiting types, patients in their 50s, 60s, and 70s outrated any other age group. The average number of females among the returning patients decreased significantly after COVID-19, but did not in males. Outpatients under 10 and in their 10s decreased significantly after COVID-19, as did inpatients in their 40s and 60s. The average duration of hospitalization was extended significantly after COVID-19. The number of outpatients and inpatients decreased as time passed after COVID-19. We expect that the results of this study will be used as reference materials in analyzing the effects of COVID-19 on healthcare utilization.
The purpose of the survey was to Identify the degree and the relationship of sexual knowledge, sexual attitude. This information will provide useful data for a more systematic, desirable, and practical sex education. The data was collected from 187 first grade schoolchildren(95 boys and 92 girls) of two Junior high school in Chun-nam area. The data was gathered by questionnaire from Oct. 1 to 15, 1996. The questionnaire was modified by authors using the questionnaire developed by You-Jeong, Han (1996). Data was analyzed by using the statistical computer package, SAS to manipulate the data along with percentages, means, standard deviation, t-test, χ²-test, GLM, and Pearson correlation coeffiency. The results in this study were summarized as follows: 1. Sex related attitudes.-The mean score of sex related altitudes showed significant difference between boys and girls (boys : 56.7, girls : 60.5, p<0.002) and in the area of psychological difference the other sex(boys 28.9, girls : 32.5, p
This study mainly intends to determine the factors for which dental technicians are satisfied with their jobs and how much the resulting job transfer rate is and thus to identify the correlation between them. For these purpose, 200 subjects were sampled out of dental technicians in Seoul and Incheon, and the survey was performed from July 19, 2002 to August 15 (for 25 days) with self-administered questionnaire. Out of all collected questionnaires, 131 pieces(65.5%) were addressed for this study. As for the tools for this study, the structured questionnaire was used with its proven reliability and feasibility, and the contents of questionnaire consisted of 32 questions on the basis of related references. The contents of questionnaire were categorized into 3 sections: General attribute of subjects; Factors for which dental technicians are satisfied with their jobs; and their intention of job transfer. The questionnaire consisted of total 32 questions which included general attribute of subjects(10 questions), factors of their satisfaction with jobs(17 questions) and intention of job transfer(5 questions). The data analysis was processed by computerized system with SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Sciences). Statistical analysis techniques included frequency, percentage, T-test, F-test analysis and regression analysis. As a result of those analyses, the conclusion can be summarized as follows: 1. As a result of analyzing the factors for which the subjects were satisfied with their jobs, it was found that there were significant differences in career and job title out of question items(P<0.001). It was also shown that the factors of subjects' satisfaction averaged 3.43, which was considerably higher value than I expected. It was found that job and management factors were major job satisfaction factors. 2. As a result of analyzing the intention of subjects to decide their job transfer, it was found that there were significant differences in job title and marital status out of question items(P<0.001). It was shown that the total average of the intention of their job transfer amounted to 3.06. It was shown that dental technicians have relatively higher intention of job transfer from their current work place. 3. It was found that there was inverse correlation between the factors of subjects' satisfaction with their jobs and their intention of job transfer(r=-0.490, P<0.05). Likewise, it was also found that there was inverse correlation mostly between the evaluation value for each independent variable region in term of each factor of job satisfaction and the value for the intention of job transfer. In view of these correlations, it was concluded that higher job satisfaction likely led to lower job transfer. 4. As a result of regression analysis so as to determine the influences of job satisfaction factors on the intention of job transfer, it was found that the highest influential factor was management factor. And it was shown that the test values of model were statistically significant and its explanatory power amounted to 54.6%.

This study is to examine the relation between Korean fermented food and discoloration on teeth, which have undergone profession tooth whitening. The color change of natural tooth, which has undergone professional tooth whitening, is objectively measured by dental colorimeter after being immersed in Korean fermented food for certain period. The tooth specimens used in this study are 30 pieces and measured 30 times per one tooth, 900 times totally by dental colorimeter ShadeEye NCC$^{(R)}$ Dental Chroma Meter. As a result of analyzing the collected data by using PASW(statistical package) 18.0, the significant difference is found (p<0.001) in lightness and yellowness before and after of professional tooth whitening. The lightness and yellowness after immersion is changed (p<0.001) according to time. As a result of examining the degree of discoloration based on type of fluids, the similar difference is indicated (p=0.001, p<0.001 1,2 and 3 weeks after getting professional tooth whitening. As a result, Korean traditional fermented food influences on discoloration on bleached tooth depended on the duration of immersion and the type of fluids. However, this study failed to represent internal oral condition accurately therefore the results of this study could be altered by the internal oral condition, frequency of consumption of food, and the management oral hygiene.
