The Korean Government recognized that the importance of spatial information market is promoting Korean Land Spatialization Program(KLSP) to commercialize and practice of the technology. For achieve this purpose, KLSP is planning to build test-bed for field test, integration, display of outcomes. The most important problem in this process is reasonable decision of location. In this paper, the subject is to find how to decide efficiently in locating facilities to test Geospatial information technology like KLSP Test-bed. Consequently, we look over some cases of the inside and outside of the country, and analyze property of outcomes to apply the test-bed. And then we find assessment items for locating.

A liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) method was developed and validated for the determination of caffeine in forensic aqueous sample. The centrifuged sample ($100{\mu}l$) was diluted 50-fold with distilled water. The diluted sample ($400{\mu}l$) was then diluted further with $200{\mu}l$ of 0.1% formic acid solution and $400{\mu}l$ of acetonitrile containing 500 ng of caffeine-(3-methyl-$^{13}C_3$) prior to LC-MS/MS analysis. The mobile phase was composed of 0.1% formic acid in distilled water (A) and acetonitrile (B). Chromatographic separation was performed by using a Zorbax SB-C18 ($100mm{\times}2.1mm$ i.d., $3.5{\mu}m$) column and caffeine was eluted within 1.1 min. Linear least-squares regression with a 1/x weighting factor was used to generate a calibration curve with the coefficients of determination ($r^2=0.9983$). The lower limit of quantification was $25ng/ml$ for the analyte. The process efficiency was 98.6~100.1%. Intra- and inter-day precisions were not more than 2.1% and 1.7%, while intra- and inter-day accuracies were ranged from -6.8 to 4.5%, respectively. The suitability of the method was examined by analyzing unknown forensic aqueous samples.

The object of this study is to provide a framework of increasing the effectiveness of the R&D planning of experts in fisheries and the education of students with the theoretical background and analytical skills through the adoption of technology roadmapping process in the marine production industry. The study was conducted by fact-finding surveys and the response content for surveys obtained from each expert advisor in the field of fisheries and maritime affairs such as fishery industries, some government organizations and research institutes including the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (MOMAF), National Fisheries Research and Development Institute (NFRDI) and fisheries-related universities was analyzed. The major implementation tasks to effectively achieve the basic goals of technology roadmap for short and middle-term research and development in the fisheries production field are as follows: 1. Research in order to achieve the realization of community-based resource management fisheries or fishermen-oriented co-management fisheries with paradigm shift in fisheries management. 2. Research in order to derive the construction of cost reducing and manpower saving systems in fishery-related science, technology and engineering. 3. Research in order to create the high value-added fisheries products with a focus on the upgrading of processing, freezing and refrigerating facilities, the reduction of logistics costs and the minimization of distribution steps. 4. Research in order to achieve the realization and development of environmental-friendly fisheries and internationally competitive fisheries through restructuring the entire fishing industries, in particular, small-scale fisheries. 5. Research in order to achieve the effective utilization of fisheries resources with a new creation of clean and living marine environment by fisherman under the balanced management and protection of marine living resources and fishing grounds.

An integrated sediment management approach that includes the recovery of the amount of declined sediment supply is effective as a fundamental solution to coastal erosion. During planning, it is essential to analyze the transfer mechanism of the sediments generated from estuaries (the junction between a river and sea) to assess the amount and rate of sediment discharge (from the river to sea) supplied back to the coast. Although numerical models that interpret the tidal sand bar flushing process during flooding have been studied, thus far, there has been no study focusing on the formation and development processes of tidal sand bars. Therefore, this study aims to construct wave deformation, flow regime calculation, and topographic change analysis models to assess the amount of recovered sediment discharge and reproduce the tidal sand bar formation process through numerical analysis for integrated littoral drift management. The tidal sand bar formation process was simulated, and the wave energy and duration of action concepts were implemented to predict the long-term littoral movement. The river flux and wave conditions during winter when tidal sand bars dominantly develop were considered as the external force conditions required for calculation. The initial condition of the topographic data directly after the Maeupcheon tidal sand bar flushing during flooding was set as the initial topography. Consequently, the tidal sand bar formation and development due to nearshore currents dependent on the incident wave direction were reproduced. Approximately 66 h after the initial topography, a sand bar formation was observed at the Maengbang estuary.
Currently, social demands for long span building structures are increasing due to architectural planning purposes and economic efficiency. As a result, lighter board-type voiding materials were suggested. With the use of board-type voiding materials, a slab is able to become light weight and convenient. This process efficiently eliminates concrete where it is not required; considerably diminishing dead weight while maintaining the flexural strength of the slab. The reduction in concrete also allows for overall cost reductions and design flexibility. Also it can be ease with fixing the voided material that is composed of one body form. Although board-type voiding materials are ideal, the top and bottom concrete plates lack integrity. Because of this, test results show horizontal cracking towards the tops and bottoms of the concrete columns, or webs, connecting the slabs. The key to correcting this problem is to increase the shear strength. In order to increase the shear strength of the structure, horizontal shear area must increase. R70(100)-D-F has the largest horizontal shear area as it also shows stronger strength. As a result, shear strength ($V_{nh}$) is dependent on the horizontal shear area (N). $V_{nh}={\alpha}{\times}0.16{\sqrt{f_{ck}}}{\frac{{\pi}D^2}{4}}{\times}N({\alpha}=1.8125)$. The web columns have a shear span to depth ratio (a/d) that is less than 2; which classifies it as a deep beam. In this case, however, the shear strength of the deep beams may be as much as 2 to 3 times greater than that predicated conventional equations developed for members of normal proportions. As a result, ${\alpha}$ is suggested as an extra coefficient in the equation for shear strength ($V_{nh}$).

Animal infectious diseases, such as avian influenza and foot and mouth disease, occur almost every year and cause huge economic and social damage to the country. In order to prevent this, the anti-quarantine authorities have tried various human and material endeavors, but the infectious diseases have continued to occur. Avian influenza is known to be developed in 1878 and it rose as a national issue due to its high lethality. Food and mouth disease is considered as most critical animal infectious disease internationally. In a nation where this disease has not been spread, food and mouth disease is recognized as economic disease or political disease because it restricts international trade by making it complex to import processed and non-processed live stock, and also quarantine is costly. In a society where whole nation is connected by zone of life, there is no way to prevent the spread of infectious disease fully. Hence, there is a need to be aware of occurrence of the disease and to take action before it is distributed. Epidemiological investigation on definite diagnosis target is implemented and measures are taken to prevent the spread of disease according to the investigation results, simultaneously with the confirmation of both human infectious disease and animal infectious disease. The foundation of epidemiological investigation is figuring out to where one has been, and whom he or she has met. In a data perspective, this can be defined as an action taken to predict the cause of disease outbreak, outbreak location, and future infection, by collecting and analyzing geographic data and relation data. Recently, an attempt has been made to develop a prediction model of infectious disease by using Big Data and deep learning technology, but there is no active research on model building studies and case reports. KT and the Ministry of Science and ICT have been carrying out big data projects since 2014 as part of national R &D projects to analyze and predict the route of livestock related vehicles. To prevent animal infectious diseases, the researchers first developed a prediction model based on a regression analysis using vehicle movement data. After that, more accurate prediction model was constructed using machine learning algorithms such as Logistic Regression, Lasso, Support Vector Machine and Random Forest. In particular, the prediction model for 2017 added the risk of diffusion to the facilities, and the performance of the model was improved by considering the hyper-parameters of the modeling in various ways. Confusion Matrix and ROC Curve show that the model constructed in 2017 is superior to the machine learning model. The difference between the2016 model and the 2017 model is that visiting information on facilities such as feed factory and slaughter house, and information on bird livestock, which was limited to chicken and duck but now expanded to goose and quail, has been used for analysis in the later model. In addition, an explanation of the results was added to help the authorities in making decisions and to establish a basis for persuading stakeholders in 2017. This study reports an animal infectious disease prevention system which is constructed on the basis of hazardous vehicle movement, farm and environment Big Data. The significance of this study is that it describes the evolution process of the prediction model using Big Data which is used in the field and the model is expected to be more complete if the form of viruses is put into consideration. This will contribute to data utilization and analysis model development in related field. In addition, we expect that the system constructed in this study will provide more preventive and effective prevention.
Purpose: On-line image guided radiation therapy(on-line IGRT) and(kV X-ray images or cone beam CT images) were obtained by an on-board imager(OBI) and cone beam CT(CBCT), respectively. The images were then compared with simulated images to evaluate the patient's setup and correct for deviations. The setup deviations between the simulated images(kV or CBCT images), were computed from 2D/2D match or 3D/3D match programs, respectively. We then investigated the correctness of the calculated deviations. Materials and Methods: After the simulation and treatment planning for the RANDO phantom, the phantom was positioned on the treatment table. The phantom setup process was performed with side wall lasers which standardized treatment setup of the phantom with the simulated images, after the establishment of tolerance limits for laser line thickness. After a known translation or rotation angle was applied to the phantom, the kV X-ray images and CBCT images were obtained. Next, 2D/2D match and 3D/3D match with simulation CT images were taken. Lastly, the results were analyzed for accuracy of positional correction. Results: In the case of the 2D/2D match using kV X-ray and simulation images, a setup correction within $0.06^{\circ}$ for rotation only, 1.8 mm for translation only, and 2.1 mm and $0.3^{\circ}$ for both rotation and translation, respectively, was possible. As for the 3D/3D match using CBCT images, a correction within $0.03^{\circ}$ for rotation only, 0.16 mm for translation only, and 1.5 mm for translation and $0.0^{\circ}$ for rotation, respectively, was possible. Conclusion: The use of OBI or CBCT for the on-line IGRT provides the ability to exactly reproduce the simulated images in the setup of a patient in the treatment room. The fast detection and correction of a patient's positional error is possible in two dimensions via kV X-ray images from OBI and in three dimensions via CBCT with a higher accuracy. Consequently, the on-line IGRT represents a promising and reliable treatment procedure.
Purpose : Anterior region is crucial area for esthetic implant restoration. However, the alveolar process undergoes atrophy after removal of teeth and creates unfavorable situation for implant installation. The knowledge of the thickness of alveolar bone is required to estimate and expect the bone resorption after extraction. The aim of this study is to measure facial, palatal and faciopalatal bone thickness on maxillary anterior teeth. Methods : Facial, palatal, and faciopalatal bone thickness were measured on the computed tomography (CT) images from 57 patients, using an image analyzer program (Ondemand$3D^{(R)}$, Cybermed, Seoul, Korea). Results : The thickness of facial bone in incisors, lateral incisors and canines were less than 1 mm. The thickness of facial bone increased from anterior to posterior region and the thickness of palatal bone increased from posterior to anterior region. Conclusion : The measurement can be used for planning implant surgery before extraction. CT has are clinically useful in the evaluation of thickness of alveolar bone.

The migration path of a multiple-generation technology that occurs during a technological substitution by a new technology is important to understanding the phenomenon of technological substitution, and can contribute to understanding the process of technological innovation. This research defines the concept of migration path and develops a model of the types of migration paths by multiple dimensions (actor, generation, and time) in a multiple-generation technology. Based on a literature review and tracking of migration paths according to multiple dimensions, the definitions and types of migration paths were provided, and the accuracy of the model was verified based on a case study of the semiconductor industry. The migration paths of suppliers are modeled with three types (switching, leapfrogging, and new entrance paths), and the migration paths of customers are modeled with four types (switching, leapfrogging, new entrance, and diffusion paths) in a multiple-generation technology. This research will be useful for understanding the migration paths in the phenomenon of technological substitution, and can be applied to other industries in addition to the semiconductor industry, including various actors. In addition, suppliers and customers can understand technological substitution and can establish a technology strategy against their competitors.
Drought is a complex phenomenon caused by various factors which can be classified into natural and anthropogenic causes. In Korea, the natural drought typically occurs when the high pressure of the Pacific Ocean develops rapidly or becomes stronger than usual in summer, resulting in a short-lived monsoon season. Drought also can be classified into meteorological, agricultural, hydrological, and socioeconomic drought depending on the development process and consequences. Each type of droughts can influence the other drought types directly or indirectly. Drought propagation refers a phenomenon that changes from meteorological drought to agricultural or hydrological drought. In this study, the occurrence and patterns of drought propagation are evaluated. The relationship between meteorological and agricultural droughts was assessed using hydrometeorological data. We classified the types of drought into five categories to evaluate the occurrence and characteristics of drought propagation. As results, we found drought propagation did not occur or delayed until three months, depending on the type of drought. The further generalized relationship of drought propagation is expected to be used for predicting agricultural drought from the preceding meteorological drought.
