Purpose: 99mTc-mebrofenin hepatobiliary scintigraphy (HBS) is an important and clinically useful diagnostic imaging study for detecting complications after liver transplantation. CT contrast agents due to their high atomic numbers, lead to a decrease in gamma ray count rates. This study investigated the impact of CT contrast agents on the uptake of 99mTc-mebrofenin in the liver. Materials and Methods: The quantitative HBS was performed on sixty-two liver transplantation patients (male:female=36:26), with a mean age of 59.4±6.4 years. Statistical comparison of hepatic uptake reduction ratio (HURR%) before and after the injection of CT contrast agents was performed using a paired t-test. Results: Hepatic uptake of the reduction ratio was 94.47±3.65% for the pre-CT contrast agents and 92.17±4.00% for the post-CT contrast agents. HURR% after CT contrast agent injection showed a statistically significant difference compared to before the injection (t=11.09, P<0.001). Conclusion: It will be necessary to pay attention when examining the HBS of patients with liver transplantation after the injection of CT contrast medium. It is advisable to schedule the examination on a different day to prevent residual contrast medium in the body from interfering with the quantitative evaluation of the nuclear medicine examination.

Considerable advance has been made on research on effect of steel pipe Umbrella Arch Method (UAM) and mechanical reinforcement mechanism through numerical analyses and experiments. Due to long analysis time of three-dimensional analysis and its complexity, un-quantitative two-dimensional analysis is dominantly used in the design and application, where equivalent material properties of UAM reinforced area and ground are used, For this reason, development of reasonable, theoretical, quantitative and easy to use design and analysis method is required. In this study, both field UAM tests and laboratory tests were performed in the residual soil to highly weathered rock; field tests to observe the range of reinforcement, and laboratory tests to investigate the change of material properties between prior to and after UAM reinforcement. It has been observed that the increase in material property of neighboring ground is negligible, and that only stiffness of steel pipe and cement column formed inside the steel pipe and the gap between steel pipe and borehole contributes to ground reinforcement. Based on these results and concept of Convergence Confinement Method (CCM), two dimensional axisymmetric analyses have been performed to obtain the longitudinal displacement profile (LDP) corresponding to arching effect of tunnel face, UAM effect and effect of supports. In addition, modified load distribution method in two dimensional plane-strain analysis has been suggested, in which effect of UAM is transformed to internal pressure and modified load distribution ratios are suggested. Comparison between the modified method and conventional method shows that larger displacement occur in the conventional method than that in the modified method although it may be different depending on ground condition, depth and size of tunnel, types of steel pipe and initial stress state. Consequently, it can be concluded that the effect of UAM as a beam in a longitudinal direction is not considered properly in the conventional method.

Korea's overseas construction industry has been rather depressed by the weakened profitability as well as the sharp decrease of the market shares due to the lack of international competitiveness and the declined international market. There exist a lot of various risks in performing the overseas construction, and especially EPC projects, which entail complicated process from different parts, also require a sophisticated procurement and management skill. Subsequently, to survive in the competitive international market, we need to establish strategies to select potentially profitable projects at the initial stage of bidding process and to mitigate the high degree of risk exposure through contract negotiation and its adjustment. This research discusses the trend of environment in international construction markets. Then, it identifies the key factors that affect the profitability significantly through the structured surveys from 59 actual overseas projects, and it analyzes the key factors by using statistical methods. This research provides the profitability evaluation bases, with which overseas construction participants can forecast and analyze the risk more systematically, by eliciting profit-influencing factors using the result of statistical analysis, literature review and structuring their cause-and-effect relationships. The profitability casual hierarchy structure describes the profitability factors' hierarchy in details and their interrelationships. It also enables us to find out critical factors directly related to profitability aggravation through a qualitative and quantitative analysis. Ultimately, with this hierarchy structure as the base, the research will suggest how to develop the quantitative profitability forecasting model.
Purpose: Lymphoscintigraphy is absolutely being used standard examination in lymphatic diagnosis, evaluation after treatment, and it is useful for lymphedema to plan therapy. In case of lymphoscintigraphy of lower-extremity lymphedema, it had an effect on results if patients had not pose same position on the examination of 1 min, 1 hour and 2 hours after injection. So we'll study the methods to improve confidence with minimized quantitative analysis errors by influence factors. Materials and Methods: Being used the Infinia of GE Co. we injected $^{99m}Tc$-phytate 37 MBq (1.0 mCi) 4 sylinges into 40 people's feet hypodermically from June to August 2010 in Samsung Medical Center. After we acquired images of fixed and unfixed condition, we confirmed the count values change by attenuation of soft tissue and bone according to different feet position. And we estimated 5 times increasing 2 cm of distance between $^{99m}Tc$ point source and detector each time to check counts difference according to distance change by different feet position. Finally, we compared 1 and 6 min lymphoscintigraphy images with same position to check the effect of quantitative analysis results owing to difference of amounts of movement of the $^{99m}Tc$-phytate in the lymphatic duct. Results: Percentage difference regarding error values showed minimum 2.7% and maximum 25.8% when comparing fixed and unfixed feet position of lymphoscintigraphy examination at 1 min after injection. And count values according to distance were 173,661 (2 cm), 172,095 (4 cm), 170,996 (6 cm), 167,677 (8 cm), 169,208 counts (10 cm) which distance was increased interval of 2 cm and basal value was mean 176,587 counts, and percentage difference values were not over 2.5% such as 1.27, 1.79, 2.04, 2.42, 2.35%. Also, Assessment results about amounts of movement in lymphatic duct within 6 min until scanning after injection showed minimum 0.15%, and maximum 2.3% which were amounts of movement. We can recognize that error values represent over 20% due to only attenuation of soft tissue and bone except for distance difference (2.42%) and amounts of movement in lymphatic duct (2.3%). Conclusion: It was show that if same patients posed different feet position on the examination of 1 min, 1 hour and 2 hours after injection in the lymphoscintigraphy which is evaluating lymphatic flow of patients with lymphedema and analyzing amount of intake by lymphatic system, maximum error value represented 25.8% due to attenuation of soft tissue and bone, and PASW (Predictive Analytics Software) showed that fixed and unfixed feet position was different each other. And difference of distance between detector and feet and change of count values by difference of examination beginning time after injection influence on quantitative analysis results partially. Therefore, we'll make an effort to fix feet position and make the most of fixing board in lymphoscintigraphy with quantitative analysis.
In 2014, the Financial Services Commission designated the Tech Credit Bureaus(TCB) to issue technical credit evaluation reports. The Five credit rating agencies, KEB Hana Bank and others have issued the technical credit reports since the summer in 2014. Meanwhile, the technology evaluation model of KEB Hana Bank consists of 25 detailed evaluation items. These item classes are weighted and the technology rating is systematically. The technology rating is combined with the credit rating to calculate the technology-credit rating. In this paper, we analyzed the 406 evaluation results issued by KEB Hana Bank. Based on the number of years of work experience, company managerial years, technical personnel score, the possession of R&D department, the amount of R&D investment, the number of certifications, and the number of patents, the Correlation between the above items and the technical grade was analyzed. It was found that quantitative indicators such as the presence of R&D department, patent numbers, and R&D investment expenses had a significant effect on the company's technology grade, and in particular, the presence of R&D department was shown a high correlation with the technology rating.
Quantitative assessment of groundwater level change under extreme event is important since groundwater system is directly affected by drought. Substantially, groundwater level fluctuation reveals to be delayed from several hours to few months after raining according to the aquifer characteristics. Groundwater system in Jeju Island would be also affected by drought and almost all regions were suffered from a severe drought during summer season (July to September) in 2013. To estimate the effect of precipitation to groundwater system, monthly mean groundwater levels in 2013 compared to those in the past from 48 monitoring wells belong to be largely affected by rainfall(Dr) over Jeju Island were analyzed. Mean groundwater levels during summer season recorded 100 mm lowered of precipitation compared to the past 30 years became decreased to range from 2.63 m to 5.42 m in southern region compared to the past and continued to December. These decreasing trends are also found in western(from -1.21 m to -4.06 m), eastern(-0.91 m to -3.24 m), and northern region(from 0.58 m to -4.02 m), respectively. Moreover, the response of groundwater level from drought turned out to be -3.80 m in August after delaying about one month. Therefore, severe drought in 2013 played an important role on groundwater system in Jeju Island and the effect of drought for groundwater level fluctuation was higher in southern region than other ones according to the regional difference of precipitation decrease.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate freezing-thawing and surface scaling resistance in order to examine the frost durability of concrete in a chloride-inherent environment. The mixing design for this study is as follows: 3 water binder ratios of 0.37, 0.42, and 0.47; 2-ingredient type concrete (50% OPC concrete and 50% ground granulated blast-furnace slag), and 3-ingredient type concrete (50% OPC concrete, 15% fly ash, and 35% ground granulated blast-furnace slag). As found in this study, the decrease of durability was much more noticeable in combined deterioration through both salt damage and frost damage than in a single deterioration through either ofthese; when using blast-furnace slag in freezing-thawing seawater, the frost durability and surface deterioration resistance was evaluated as higher than when using OPC concrete. BF 50% concrete, especially, rather than BFS35%+FA15%, had a notable effect on resistance to chloride penetration and freezing/expansion. It has been confirmed that surface deterioration can be evaluated through a quantitative analysis of scaling, calculated from concrete's underwater weight and surface-dry weight as affected by the freezing-thawing of seawater.
During cold operation period, fuel injection system directly contributes the unburned hydrocarbon formation in spark ignition engines. The relationship between injection parameters and HC emission behavior was investigated through a series of experiments. Spray behavior of port fuel injectors was characterized through a quantitative evaluation of mass concentration of liquid fuel by a patternator and PDA. 6-hole injector was found to produce finer spray than single hole one. Using a purpose-built test rig, the wall wetting fuel was measured, which was mostly affected by wall temperature. Varying coolant temperature($20{\sim}80^{\circ}C$), HC emissions were measured in a production engine. With respect to the different types of injectors, HC emission was also measured. In the 6-hole injector application, the engine produced less HC emission in low coolant temperature region. Though it produces much more amount of wetting fuel, it has the advantages of finer atomization quality. In high coolant temperature region, there was little effect between different types of injectors. The control schemes to reduce HC emissions during cold start could be suggested from the findings that the amount of fuel supply and HC emission could be reduced by utilizing fine spray and high intake wall temperature.

We investigated the effect of mechanical back side damage in Czochralski grown silicon wafer. The intensity of mechanical damage was evaluated by minority carrier recombination lifetime by laser excitation/microwave reflection photoconductivity decay method, degree of X-ray diffuse scattering, X-ray section topography, and wet oxidation/preferential etching methods. The data indicate that the higher the mechanical damage intensity, the lower the minority carrier lifetime, and the magnitude of diffuse scattering and X-ray excess intensity increased proportionally, and it was at Grade 1:Grade 2:Grade 3=1:7:18.4 that the normalized relative quantization ratio of excess intensity in damaged wafer was calculated, which are normalized to the excess intensity from sample Grade 1.

Overbreak or underbreak is one of the most important factors in evaluation the results of a tunnel blasting. Overbreak, which depends on the quality of rock, the type and quantity of explosives, and the method and condition of drilling, has been a target of challenge to many blasting engineers as it is connected with economic directly. Drilling is generally known as a primary one of overbreak producing factors. So, This study presented the practical solution to reduce overbreak, which was caused by drilling, through the analyses of how to make a drilling process accurate and how to evaluate the effect of each drilling method. Thus, this solution would give a quantitative analysis of overbreak and provide the information of how to reduce the quantity of overbreak. Moreover, for verifying this solution, we applied it to a tunnel project and then have found out that the quantity of overbreak decreased to approximately 10-40% compared with the previous way of overbreak control.
