Strategic Information Systems Planning(SISP) has gained considerable interest among researchers and practitioners in recent years which has instigated various related research. Nevertheless, only 24 percent of the projects recommended as a result of SISP are ultimately performed. This statistics raise the questions for the need of SISP. This study provides the framework that may enable SISP to be more effectively utilized by studying factors for consideration from the review of pertinent literature. These factors will then be validated by case studies of domestic companies and by simultaneously inducing key characteristics and solutions of SISP. The result of the study indicates some inconsistency between literal factors and the case study. The factors added through case study were considered to be actual factors of SISP. This study emphasized the role of the senior manager, the quality of the implementation of the state plan and the capability of the planning team. As key characteristics of domestic companies considered were the general lack of ability to collect and analyze data. In addition, the domestic companies have little consideration of the organizational contingency factors.

Recently number of reinstrumentation projects in the process plants has grown to meet the needs to modernize or upgrade the exsisting control systems in a bid to boost productivity and quality. Design, installation and start-up of these process automation systems can be successful and trouble-free only if decision points are addressed properly. The critical decision points are encountered from tile design through the start-up phases of implementing a modernization project and discussed extensively here on a practical basis. Key points are ;to assign a project manager out of the plant instrument engineers for him to organize and lead a project team. ;to follow three critical steps in designing and implementing. :to think ahead of the critical steps and to induce a positive cooperation from all level of participants in the effort to prevent possible schedule delays.

Recently, the airline industry has grown tremendously, and competition among airlines has intensified. Therefore, the importance of airline's service quality has been greatly emphasized. The human service provided by the airline is the biggest service the customer feels, so the customer orientation of the flight attendant is very important. The aim of this study was to identify the mediating effects of organizational commitment on the relationship among transformational leadership and customer orientation. As a results of the study, transformational leadership had positive significant effects on organizational commitment and job customer orientation. The results of this study imply that the organizational commitment play significant mediating role between transformational leadership and customer orientation.

Many government agents are willing to provide better service to citizen via information technologies. This is called e-Government, and it needs a CMS to manage numerous contents. However, a CMS doesn't manage contents from the viewpoint of quality. In this research, the QCMS the system to manage contents by using information resource registry, is proposed. Information resource registry includes a flow chart and four matrices. Behavioral patterns of organizations and contents can be got from information resource registry. It makes a top manager understand the state of the business and make proper strategic decisions. The strategies can improve the business. Through the case of a public enterprise, we examine how the QCMS works and makes strategies from behavioral patterns of organizations and contents.

Broaching machine is widely used for machining inner shaped slots in the work-pieces, and provides vertical motion (usually hydraulically powered) between tool and work-piece. In this study, we modelled the tool life process and investigated economic tool life of broaching machine. Tool life process is divided into wear-process and succeeding failure process. Wear process is defined as machining wear and failure process as 'chipping' occurred by random shock. We modelled wear process as linear regression function for products amounts and assumed failure process as Poisson process. Economic tool life is defined as the number of lots which minimizes average tool related cost per lot and analyzed by using age replacement policy technique. As tool-related cost factors, we consider tool replacement cost, tool maintenance cost and quality costs of products. The results of this study can be applied to analyze life process of general machining tools.

The school space is a place for learning activities and community activities, and it is used as a shelter for various disasters. Recently, the frequency and magnitude of damages of school facilities due to various disasters are increasing, and similar accidents occur repeatedly every year, causing enormous damage to school classes. Furthermore, damage to school facilities will require considerable time and safety confirmation measures to restore disaster and normalize the class. In this regards, based on the questionnaire survey on the difficulties and improvement measures of the disaster recovery work of the school safety manager, we propose the application of in-kind compensation for damage to school facilities to ensure rapid disaster recovery, simplification of administrative procedures, and quality of restoration work.

The purpose of this study was to explore new fisheries-related jobs in the future. The study is based on a thorough literature review and in-depth interviews with experts in the fisheries industry. The major findings of the study were as follows: First, new fisheries-related jobs that surpass the fitness rating of 90% and earn more than 3 on the prospect scale are expected to be found mostly in professional fishery sectors. In the production and processing sectors, fishery quality control manager, marine product cooks, and raw fish cooks looked most promising. In the fishery marketing and distribution section, on the other hand, marine tour consultants, marine product distribution consultants, underwater guides, online marine product traders, marine sports consultants, and marine safety specialists ranked high on the list.

In this paper, we propose an application layer-based vertical handover management protocol, called multihoming RTP (mhRTP), for real-time applications with seamless mobility across heterogeneous wireless access networks. The proposed multi-homing RTP provides a soft handover by utilizing multiple available wireless access network interfaces simultaneously. The newly available path is dynamically added to the ongoing session by the mhRTP session manager. Also the decision making of QoS-improving or QoS-guaranteed handover is possible based on the estimation of available bandwidth in each candidate network. The performances of the proposed mhRTP have been analyzed through a series of simulations on OPNET network simulator. From the performance analysis, we confirmed that the proposed mhRTP can provide QoS-guaranteed vertical handover with efficient session managements.

Low carbon construction is an important operation management goal such as cost, time, and quality in construction community. This paper introduces a system which measures the variability of carbon dioxide amounts. First, this system allows creating construction operation models of which the level of detail is breakdown into the work task level. Second, the system implements sensitivity analysis along with a ranges of resources that are allocated in an operation model. It facilitates to find the optimal resource combination using the operation performances such as the amount of emissions, operation completion time, and cost. Lastly, it identifies the best fit probability distribution functions of performance criteria given a certain resource combination. It allows project manager to query the percentages to complete the operation within a limitation specified by the system users.

As school facilities have been expanding quantity better than quality, efficient school facility management has been focused on from 2001 in domestic. Due to obsolescence of school facility, objective management and maintenance cost of school facility is very important. However LCC(Life cycle cost) analyst, owner, engineer, contractor and facility manager have a difficulty to obtain and facilitate the basic analyzed data required to analyze LCC of school facility and establish maintenance plan. Therefore this research presents muti-dimensional analysis method through data warehouse technique for supplying maintenance cost information of school facility that can trace and accumulate the scattered LCCing data in the perspective of life cycle of school facility.
