  • As the competition between countries has become higher and the notion of software quality has been widely spread. it has been necessary to develop technologies that can ensure and produce high quality software. With the advent of information-oriented society. quality control has to transfer to the quality control activities focused on software system instead of those activities focused on hardware system. If so, how do we get to handle the quality control on the basis of the new approach. Also, as software applications have grown. so too has the importance of software quality. In order to manage software quality, the technology to specify and evaluate both the software product quality and development process quality objectively quantitatively is most important. To produce products of good quality, we need a more progressive quality control system according to the need of software development life cycle. In other words, we do software right the first time or build quality in the process. On the basis intermediate and final time or build quality in the process. On the basis of data achieved, we can evaluate the products according to the consequences of the data, What are the problems to contrive the software quality control system?, we con promote the quality of products. To achieved that goal, we con provide a suitable the technique and method of software quality control.

Development of CAE Data Translation Technique for a Virtual Reality Environment (가상현실 환경을 위한 해석데이터 변환 기술 개발)

  • Computer-aided engineering (CAE) analysis is considered essential for product development because it decreases the simulation time, reduces the prototyping costs, and enhances the reusability of product parts. The reuse of quality-assured CAE data has been continually increasing due to the extension of product lifecycle management; PLM, which is widely used, shortens the product development cycle and improves the product quality. However, less attention has been paid to systematic research on the interoperability of CAE data because of the diversity of CAE data and because the structure of CAE data is more complex than that of CAD data. In this paper, we suggest a CAE data exchange method for the effective sharing of geometric and analysis data. The method relies on heterogeneous CAE systems, a virtual reality system, and our developed CAE middleware for CAE data exchange. We also designed a generic CAE kernel, which is a critical part of the CAE middleware. The kernel offers a way of storing analysis data from various CAE systems, and, with the aid of a script command, enabling the data to be translated for a different system. The reuse of CAE data is enhanced by the fact that the CAE middle-ware can be linked with a virtual reality system or a product data management system.

Research Joint Ventures and Cartels in International Product R&D

  • Purpose - This paper analyzes how Research and Development (R&D) cartelization and Research Joint Ventures (RJV) affect firms that engage in Cournot competition in their product market using a model in which the Home and Foreign firm produce differentiated products and export their total output to a third country's market. Design/Methodology - In a two-stage game, research expenditures incurred in the first stage improve product quality and are subject to various degrees of spillovers. We consider four different scenarios. Findings - In a symmetric equilibrium we observe the following: (i) an RJV that cooperates in R&D decision yields the highest R&D expenditure. However, the scenario which yields the lowest expenditure depends on the extent of differentiation between the goods and the degree of spillovers; (ii) RJV cartelization yields the highest product quality, output, and consumer surplus in the third country; however, the lowest is produced by R&D competition if spillovers are strong and by R&D cartelization if spillovers are weak; and (iii) each firm's profit is at its minimum in R&D competition and its maximum in RJV cartelization. Furthermore, if spillovers are strong, the profit of each firm in R&D cartelization is greater than that in RJV competition, and vice versa. Originality/value - By analyzing product innovation in international markets, we can find similarities and differences between process R&D and product R&D in international markets.

The Effect of Package Gloss on Purchase Intention: Mediating Role of Perceived Corporate Eco-friendliness and Perceived Quality (패키지 광택이 제품 구매의도에 미치는 영향: 기업 친환경성 인식과 품질인식의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of the gloss of a product's packaging on purchase intention and the mediating role of perceived corporate eco-friendliness and perceived quality in food area. The participants were randomly assigned to product package condition (glossy vs. matte) and after observing ketchup and potato chips, they responded to questions on about perceived corporate eco-friendliness, perceived quality, and purchase intention. The participants reported their opinion that companies that manufactured matte package products would likely use more organic ingredients and would be more eco-friendly than companies that manufactured glossy package products. The more the participants perceived a company to be eco-friendly, the better they evaluated the company's product quality and the higher their purchase intention. This study has theoretical and practical implications, in that it extends the study of the product package in relation to its effect on corporate image, and it proposes a practical use of matte product package for improving the eco-friendly image of the company. Limitations and further research were also discussed.

A Study on the Effect of Service Quality and Product Characteristics on the Adoption Intention of New Brands in Taiwan's Influencer Live Streaming Platforms

  • Currently, due to the activation of SNS live broadcasting, online services based on influencer live broadcasting are becoming a major consumption trend around the world. This study aims to verify the relationship between service quality, customer satisfaction, product characteristics, and acceptance intention for influencer broadcasting based on nfluencer broadcasting experiences in an Internet environment. This study conducted a survey of users who experienced live broadcasting on social media in Taiwan from June 29 to August 30, 2020, and a total of 253 copies were used for empirical analysis. The collected data were analyzed through SPSS 25.0. The results of the empirical analysis are summarized as follows. First, it was found that the service quality factors (reliability, tangibility, responsiveness, certainty, and empathy) of Taiwan's influencer live broadcast had a significant effect on live broadcast satisfaction. Second, it was found that the product characteristics of Taiwan's influencer live broadcasting had a significant effect on product satisfaction. Third, it was found that live broadcasting satisfaction and product satisfaction had a significant effect on the acceptance intention of new brands in Taiwan's influencer live broadcasting. This study will provide useful data for establishing efficient marketing strategies to improve live and product satisfaction and increase acceptance of new brands by identifying service quality factors and product characteristics of Taiwan's influencer Live Broadcasting.

  • There are various factors to determine success and failure of new product development. Among them one of the most important factors for success will be strategic management of development process for a new product. First the development process for a new product in domestic restaurant business is improvement of existing product quality or extension of a product line. Second, the study found that there is a strong relationship between the development strategy.for a new product and its outcome. The more focused a product becomes in cost efficiency and customer relations, the better reflected the financial and non financial outcome can be in analysis. Third, financial outcome tends to be considered more than non financial outcome on deciding success of the new product development. Fourth, the study indicates that there is a direct relationship between financial non financial outcome analysis and success of new product development.

  • The purpose of this study was to clarify differences in their perceptions in relation to clothing quality and service quality of internet shopping mall according to classified consumer groups by clothing involvement. The 248 questionnaires were collected from female and male students of university who experienced browsing at the website for clothing shopping. Using SPSS Win package, Cronbach's $\alpha$, frequency. percentage, factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, SNK multiple range test and multiple regression analysis were performed. The results could be summarized as follows. First. the dimension of clothing involvement divided consumers into three different groups: fashion/importance group, pleasure group and symbol group. Second, the significant differences among the classified clothing involvement groups were found in the perceptions in relation to clothing product quality and service quality of internet shopping mall. Third. pleasure and symbol of clothing involvement, physical attributes and expressive goals of clothing quality, and product assortment and promotion of service quality in the internet shopping mall had an effect on the purchase intend of internet shopping mall.

A Design of Economic CUSUM Control Chart Incorporating Quality Loss Function (품질손실을 고려한 경제적 CUSUM 관리도)

  • Quality requirements of manufactured products or parts are given in the form of specification limits on the quality characteristics of individual units. If a product is to meet the customer's fitness for use criteria, it should be produced by a process which is stable or repeatable. In other words, it must be capable of operating with little variability around the target value or nominal value of the product's quality characteristic. In order to maintain and improve product quality, we need to apply statistical process control techniques such as histogram, check sheet, Pareto chart, cause and effect diagram, or control charts. Among those techniques, the most important one is control charting. The cumulative sum (CUSUM) control charts have been used in statistical process control (SPC) in industries for monitoring process shifts and supporting online measurement. The objective of this research is to apply Taguchi's quality loss function concept to cost based CUSUM control chart design. In this study, a modified quality loss function was developed to reflect quality loss situation where general quadratic loss curve is not appropriate. This research also provided a methodology for the design of CUSUM charts using Taguchi quality loss function concept based on the minimum cost per hour criterion. The new model differs from previous models in that the model assumes that quality loss is incurred even in the incontrol period. This model was compared with other cost based CUSUM models by Wu and Goel, According to numerical sensitivity analysis, the proposed model results in longer average run length in in-control period compared to the other two models.

Utilization of Osmotic Dehydration as Pretreatment prior to Drying (건조전처리로서 삼투건조의 이용)

  • In the drying process, many undesirable physicochemical changes occur that influence dried food product qualities. Pretreatments method is used to reduce the deterioration of dried food product qualities such as color, flavor, texture, rehydration ability and retention of nutrients. The methods of pretreatments are blanching, chemical treatment and osmotic dehydration. Osmotic dehydration is a water removal process which is based on placing foods in a concentrated osmotic solution or in a dry osmotic material. A large number of process variables have a significant effect on process and final product quality. In order to improve final product quality it is necessary to know the role of each process variable and understand the mecanisms throughout the process. Osmotic dehydration is a valuable processing tool with great future in minimal processing of fruits and vegetables.

  • If a quality system is properly designed and implemented, it will be one of the most effective tools in the prevention of quality problems, as well as potential product liability incidents. The purpose of this research is to present how the quality system should developed and focuses more on what it should include for the sake of preventing unsafe products and design. Includings are descriptions on how a manufacturer can put a comprehensive procedures and processes for product safety and effort in place, and move their existing quality system to a new level.
