Most organizations have recently put more emphasis on the improvement in service quality. This phenomenon could come from the recognition that service quality plays an essential role in enhancing organization's business performance. Hence this paper presents a framework for improving such service quality. The presented framework involves the methodology for (i) developing service quality indices, (ii) measuring and evaluating service quality, (iii) analyzing the level of service quality, (iv) constructing the quality improvement road map, (v) determining the quality improvement action plan. This methodology is intended to create self-sustaining improvement in service quality from the entire organization's perspective. An illustration is also given.

As the importance of customers has been emphasized, most companies began to operate various CRM strategies to understand and manage customers' needs. The investments that businesses are making are categorized into four areas. The first area of investments is in contact centers and channels to manage the voice of customers. The second area is in loyalty management, target marketing using segmentation, profiling, profitability analysis and targeting. The third one is involved in the measurement of customer satisfaction. The last one is planning to deliver products and services to appropriate customers. Despite the various efforts, it is lowering the efficiency of these investments and interrupting their value creation that these are being operated independently in different departments. All CRM activities of an enterprise should be processed interactively and consistently for a common goal; value creation, to overcome these shortcomings. In this research, we propose CS Road Map that systematizes the four kinds of CRM activities; VOC management, survey activities, loyalty management and planning. Under this road map, these four activities will achieve the improvement of service qualities, customer satisfaction and further value creation. This paper demonstrates the road map that is built for a service industry emphasizing the objectives and strategies of the four categories.

Recently, started to apply a strategy of selection and concentration in the construction and transportation R&D for the effective utilization of limited R&D resources. The department of construction and transportation planned the construction and transportation R&D innovative road map by the future 10 years technical requirement under the first year on the innovation of the construction and transportation technology from last year. The innovative road map which is a strategic and long term master plan integrated a construction and transportation suggested a vision as value createar for a improvement of living quality in the future. And made a specific goal that is the seventh construction technology level and the fifth transportation technology level in the world. The department of construction and transportation is planning a mid- long range planing of the construction and transportation R&D as following measurement of innovative road map. KICTEP and KISTEP planned a mid- long range R&D planing of the transportation system, logistics, aviation, railway for the last year. Introducing a methodology used a mid- long range plan and main results of the future railway R&D plan. And suggesting a politic comments for the effectively propelling railway R&D projects.

Along with the increase in demand for rescue services, the types of rescue services are also diversifying. Accordingly, rescue workers are exposed to various unpredictable dangerous situations, and the possibility of safety accidents is increasing, so the need for systematic management of safety accidents by rescue teams is emerging. It is necessary to present a roadmap for improving the quality of rescue services. An integrated technology roadmap tool that can be used immediately to improve structural quality was applied. The driving elements of the roadmap are composed of three elements that constitute the improvement of structural quality. It can be divided into safety management, professional competence and other (policy support) fields. This study intends to present a long-term and short-term roadmap by dividing it into safety management, professional competency, and other (policy support) fields.

The Seoul Metro has been playing a vital role in public transportation for last 35 years as the feet of 10 millions of Seoul citizens. It currently takes charge of over 45% of the national subway transit and transports 4 millions of citizens a day. The purpose of this study is to suggest a plan for crew members' working condition improvement and job satisfaction improvement which will lead to the finest quality of service to the citizens. We examined the working conditions of the crew members and surveyed crew members about the working conditions and the extent of job satisfaction. The results of our study can also be used as basic materials for building the road map to the management improvement.

일반적으로 단말기 기반의 경로탐색 시스템은 자체적으로 내장된 정보만을 사용하기 때문에 센터 기반의 탐색보다 경로의 질이 떨어진다. 최근 TPEG와 같은 기술을 이용하여 단말기 기반의 경로탐색 시스템에서도 실시간 교통 정보를 전송 받을 수 있다. 그러나 단말기의 제한된 성능으로 인해 실시간 교통정보를 모두 활용하여 경로의 질을 높이면 탐색 비용이 급격히 증가하는 문제가 있다. 이 논문에서 단말기 기반 시스템에서 경로탐색의 질을 높이기 위해 동적 휴리스틱을 제안한다. 동적 휴리스틱이란 고정된 정보가 아닌 서버로부터 실시간 도로정보를 전송받아 동적으로 변경되는 휴리스틱이다. 이 논문에서는 최고속력 동적휴리스틱을 이용하는 경로탐색 기법을 제안하고, 성능 실험을 하였다. 최고속력 동적 휴리스틱이란 지도를 일정크기로 나눈 그리드내의 도로 중 최고속력을 동적 휴리스틱으로 활용하며, 최고속력이 높은 곳을 우선 탐색함으로 인해 거리에 따른 정보뿐만 아니라 실시간 정보를 활용하여 경로를 탐색한다. 성능 실험 결과 A* 알고리즘에 비해 경로의 질은 향상되었으나 탐색비용이 조금 늘었다.

Purpose: Propose model to diagnose and assess National Defense Industry and quality management by investigating and analyzing established standard model. Methods: Research on established internal model including MB, EQA and JQA model and make standard index for quality index extraction and quantitative index to test objectively for internal state. Results: Extract advantage and disadvantage by performance of National Defense Industry level diagnose and build foundation for quality management policy and road map. Conclusion: Due to result of diagnostic assesment of quality management of national defense industry, dependability, SCQM and safety part shows vulnerability and require improvement and support.

도로 정보는 교통, 도시 계획, 지도 갱신, 위치기반서비스 그리고 GIS (Geographic Information System) 데이터 구축 등에 활용되는 중요한 기초 공간정보 자료이다. 따라서 정확한 도로 정보를 획득하고 이를 갱신하는 것은 다양한 공간정보 산업에 중요한 역할을 수행할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 고해상도 위성영상에서 객체 기반의 도로 추출 기법으로 최근 소개된 개미 군집 최적화(ACO: Ant Colony Optimization)의 한계점을 분석하고 이를 개선하고자 하였다. 객체 기반의 ACO 도로 추출은 도로의 분광 및 형상 정보를 모두 활용하여 효과적으로 도로 추출을 수행할 수 있으나 객체 서술자 정보에 의존적이며 서술자 계산 시 사용자의 개입이 필요하다. 또한, 최적화 반복 종료 시점의 설정이 모호하다는 단점이 존재한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이를 개선하기 위해 기존 서술자의 한계를 보완하는 서술자와 최적화 반복 종료기준을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 기존의 알고리즘보다 52.51%의 완성도(completeness), 6.12%의 정확도(correctness), 51.53%의 품질(quality) 향상을 나타내었다.
