  • In this study, we propose an approach for calibrating the elevation of a DEM (Digital Elevation Model), one of the key data in realizing unmanned aerial vehicle image-based precision agriculture. First of all, radiometric correction is performed on the orthophoto, and then ExG (Excess Green) is generated. The non-vegetation area is extracted based on the threshold value estimated by applying the Otsu method to ExG. Subsequently, the elevation of the DEM corresponding to the location of the non-vegetation area is extracted as EIFs (Elevation Invariant Features), which is data for elevation correction. The normalized Z-score is estimated based on the difference between the extracted EIFs to eliminate the outliers. Then, by constructing a linear regression model and correcting the elevation of the DEM, high-quality DEM is produced without GCPs (Ground Control Points). To verify the proposed method using a total of 10 DEMs, the maximum/minimum value, average/standard deviation before and after elevation correction were compared and analyzed. In addition, as a result of estimating the RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) by selecting the checkpoints, an average RMSE was derivsed as 0.35m. Comprehensively, it was confirmed that a high-quality DEM could be produced without GCPs.

Service enterprise is pushing on in service quality elevation for strengthening competitiveness to survive on globalization society as manufacturing industry. Service quality elevation adapts as core competitive strategy in enterprise with business environment as continuous competitive advantage. Because Public organization also is developed in service fast, Public organization is trying to offer various service such as service level of enterprise. Each Public organization are trying to satisfy request of citizens as Customer. In this study, presented Kano-Servqual Method which is mixed by Kano's and Servqual model's advantage, each Method had used much in service quality measurement separately. Kano-Servqual Method is applied to the A information library as a public organization and is proved as practical useful method.

  • One of the most important procedure in stereo DEM generation is the stereo matching process which finds the conjugate pixels in a pair of stereo imagery. In order to be found as conjugate pixels, the pixels should have distinct spatial feature to be distinguished from other pixels. However, in the homogeneous areas such as water covered or forest canopied areas, it is very difficult to find the conjugate pixels due to the lack of distinct spatial feature. Most of erroneous elevation values in the stereo DEM are produced in those homogeneous areas. This paper presents a simple method for improving the quality of stereo DEM utilizing the texture filters. An entropy filter was applied to one of the input stereo imagery to extract very homogeneous areas before stereo matching process. Those extracted homogeneous areas were excluded from being candidates for stereo matching process. Also a statistical texture filter was applied to the generated elevation values before the interpolation process was applied in odor to remove the remaining anomalous elevation values. Stereo pair of SPOT level 1B panchromatic imagery were used for the experiments. The results showed that by utilizing the texture filters as a pre and a post processor of stereo matching process, the quality of the stereo DEM could be dramatically improved.

  • The quality of orthoimages mainly depends on the elevation information and exterior orientation (EO) parameters. Since LiDAR data directly provides the elevation information over the earth's surface including buildings and trees, the concept of true orthorectification has been rapidly developed and implemented. If a LiDAR-driven digital surface model (DSM) is used for orthorectification, the displacements caused by trees and buildings are effectively removed when compared with the conventional orthoimages processed with a digital elevation model (DEM). This study sequentially utilized LiDAR data to generate orthorectified digital aerial images. Experimental orthoimages were produced using DTM and DSM. For the preparation of orthorectification, EO components, one of the inputs for orthorectification, were adjusted with the ground control points (GCPs) collected from the LiDAR point data, and the ground points were extracted by a filtering method. The orthoimage generated by DSM corresponded more closely to non-ground LiDAR points than the orthoimage produced by DTM.

  • Water quality of Chongju and Daejeon Water Intake Tower Region, embayments in Daechong Reservoir was found to be worse than that of main lake after analysis of water which were sampled during April, July, October in 1993. Concentration of COD and SS at those two water intake tower sites were 2.8-5.6 mg/l and 2.2-3.2 mg/l, higher than that of main lake. T-N concentration of those two sites was 1.1-1.9 mg/l similar to that of main lake, and T-P concentration of those two sites was 0.14-0.18 mg/l, higher than that of main lake. This study used water quality model of embayment which can analyse pollutant loads from stream and surrounding land use, advection, decay, and diffusion transport between embayment and main lake. The model can predict water quality of embayment according to the change of pollutant load, water elevation of embayment, quantity of water intake in order to suggest water quality management. This study suggests embayment water quality management alternatives, 1) construction of waste water treatment facilities at embayment and main lake for the decrease of pollutant loading, 2) water intake at main lake less polluted or eutrophicated than embayment, and 3) outflow elevation selection for polluted hypolimnion water outflow during stratification.

  • Aim of this research was to investigate the effects of Digital Elevation Model (DEM) for sensitivity analysis with two types of DEMs: 1 to 24,000 and 1 to 250,000 DEM. Another emphasis was given to the development of methodology for processing DEMs to create ArcGIS Pro and GRASS layers. This was done while developing water quality system modeling using DEMs which were used to model hydrological processes and SWAT model. Sensitivity analysis with DEMs resulted in different runoff volumes in the model simulation. Runoff volume was higher for the 1:24,000 DEM than 1:250,000 DEM, probably due to the finer resolution and slope which increased the estimated runoff from the watershed. Certainly the DEMs were factors in precision of the simulations and it was obvious during sensitivity analysis that DEMs had significant effect on runoff volumes. We suggest, however, that additional comparative research could be conducted involving more parameters such as soil and hydrologic parameters to provide insight into the overall physical system which the SWAT model represents.

  • Although the coastal area of Jeju has already been developed, it has high pressure and demands for development continually increasing due to the increase of tourism and leisure activities. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to present objective guidance for the planning of the buildings on the seaside road with a view which have the largest impact on coastal landscape in order to enhance its visual quality. The results of this study are as follows : 1) It is chief element to make guidance for the use and planning of buildings in the conservation of the coastal landscape. 2) The D/H ratios which immediately influence an angle of elevation are different one another for the whole street. To ensure a sense of openness for the landscape, it is needed to maintain under $27^{\circ}$ angle of elevation, which demands 1~3 D/H ratio. 3) It is important to make 2.4 visual blockage ratio for whole street, but the actual condition is 4.48 ratio on average. To bring down the visual blockage ratio, the W/D ratio needs to be regulated. 4) Various techniques are also needed for lively building styles going with coastal landscape.

  • Nowaday, statistical data with coherence, accuracy and timeliness are necessary to government, company and research center for decision making or research. In other words, the importance of statistical data quality is steadily increasing. Thus, in this paper, we suggest necessity of measuring customer satisfaction with NSO products for enhancing quality. And we construct measurement scale for measuring customer satisfaction based on the statistical quality indicators. Also we advise use of structural equation model in relation analysis for statistic quality elevation.
