The purpose of this study was to evaluate changes that patients who receive chemotherapy for a gynecologic oncology disorder experience in their sexual functions. Materials and Methods: A descriptive/cross-sectional and qualitative study was performed. The Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) was used in order to collect data on sexual capacity. The quantitative data obtained were evaluated with frequency and percentage calculations while content analysis was performed for the qualitative data. Results: All of the information related to sexuality was provided by the physician. Chemotherapy treatment affected sexuality negatively in 55.9%. Since receiving the diagnosis, 52.9% of women had experienced no sexual intercourse at all. Those who had an FSFI score of 30 and below made up 75% of the women. After the content analysis of data obtained during in in-depth interviewing, we focused on three main themes: desire for sexual intercourse, problems experienced during sexual intercourse, and coping with problems. Conclusions: An integrated system where sexual problems can be handled professionally should be present during gynecological cancer treatment.

  • Purpose: The purpose was to develop a preliminary scale to measure Korean adolescents' health behaviors through a qualitative approach, to evaluate the scale psychometrically, and to develop a final scale. Methods: Participants were 61 adolescents for qualitative interviews and 1,687 adolescents for the psychometric evaluation. Procedure included content analysis of interviews to identify health behavior categories for Korean adolescents, pre-test to confirm that preliminary scale items were understandable, content validity by an expert panel, development of the web-based computer-assisted survey (CAS), and psychometric analysis to determine reliability and validity of the final scale. Results: A final scale was developed for both paper-and-pencil and CAS. It consisted of 14 health behaviors (72 items), including stress and mental health (10), sleep habits (5), dietary habits (12), weight control (4), physical activity (4), hygiene habits (5), tobacco use (5), substance use (2), alcohol consumption (4), safety (4), sexual behavior (9), computer use (3), health screening (4), and posture (1). With technological advances and seemingly ever-changing pressures on the environment, it is important for education leaders to represent their practice. This study aims to discuss the significance of DL and its role in education. Research design, data and methodology: The present researcher used Qualitative Content Analysis (QCA) because it is credible, transferable, dependable, and confirmable proving its trustworthiness. To begin with, QCA entails a sufficient representation of the social realities being studied, credibility. Results: The investigation of this study indicates that the documents are in the proper functioning of schools to highlight the potential impact of collaborative practices, many of which require sharing school fees. DL can be meant as "influence relationships," discussions in groups, government, and non-leaders, about how teachers influence each other, and teamwork was easy. Conclusions: This study suggests that management can significantly impact organizational changes in management practices to distribute or skip something planned. DL is not a panacea, plan, or formula. Rather, it is a way to get under the skin of local leadership and restore the potential for change in the organization.

Group interviews with 16 patients were carried out using semi-structured interview questions developed from a literature review and discussion with researchers. Content analysis was used to analyze the data. Results: A total of 11 sub-themes were extracted through a comparison of the concepts and semantic analysis, and finally, four themes were derived: "Satisfied with systematic management of health care", "Leading in health care", "Understanding the pattern of blood pressure and blood sugar change" and "Adherence to existing health care habits". Conclusion: This study is meaningful in that it used qualitative analysis through FGI to evaluate the effects of an ICT-based chronic disease management project. Based on this study, a mixed-method design study and an intervention study among patients with metabolic syndrome is proposed.

  • This study identifies communication patterns of groups using synchronous text communication medium for their group decision-making, and examines how these patterns are associated with creative solutions to problems. Our research suggests that certain communication behavior of groups, when appropriately organized, can be of help in enhancing creative production of outcomes. A qualitative study was conducted on communication patterns based on an analysis of text-based electronic conversation protocols. Specifically this research tried to overcome existing studies on electronic groups by focusing on interactive process of communication among participants. The major study conclusion; are: (1) The production of creative outcome may depend on the process or sequence of discussion among group members with synchronous text communication medium. That is, proper interactive responses and appropriate control of the discussion process are essential to obtain a high level of performance. (2) It is importantto make discuss rules based on meta-cognitive and interactive protocols in the early stage. Explicit rules relating to internal group processes as well as communication medium use are even more important to groups with electronic communication medium than face-to-face groups.
