The Turbine Building of nuclear power plant is classified as non safety-related structure. During the operation, there may be possibility the original licensing basis would be changed, which makes non safety-related structure safety-related. Such a change in regulation requires utility to perform seismic qualification for the existing structure and their facilities. Thus it is meaningful to evaluate seismic margin of the existing non-qualified building structure. In addition, in this paper it is shown that a modification to the structure can enhance their seismic capacity.

Concrete used for radwaste container should have excellent properties such as mechanical strength, water-tightness, durability, etc. In order to improve such properties of ordinary portland cement concrete, superplasticizer, steel fiber, and/or epoxy resin were added to ordinary portland cement concrete respectively. Various concrete specimens were prepared and the physical properties of each concrete specimen were tested. From the experimental results, the properties of steel fiber and epoxy resin reinforced concrete were proved to be better qualified than others for low-and intermediate-level radwaste container.

The purpose of this study is to explain the need of consumer adviser and to justify its certification program, Suggestions on who might be the subjects of the certification program, on what kinds of qualifications are required, and on who bestow the certification to qualified subjects were made. Specifically, graduates major on Home Economics in College or University were recommended to be the consumer adviser professionals.

To provide more qualified data service on the HFC(Hybrid-Fiber Coaxial) access network, the channel characteristics of upstream transmission band should be carefully investigated and analysed. It will be easier to do network management if the monitoring system for noise measurement in the network is available, In this paper, noise analysis method and the frequency selection method in the upstream band for duplex transmission are suggested. And, Data aquisition device for the signal measurement Is implemented. With this network monitoring system, field test and the result from the collected data are described.

한국전력공사에서 실시하는 단가공사 및 총가공사에는 전기공사업체에서 민간기술자격자를 일정 수준의 인원을 확보하여야 입찰에 응할 수 있도록 되어 전기공사업계의 경영부담이 증가되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 민간기술자격 교육기관의 실태를 파악하고 전기 공사업계의 의견을 수렴하여 한국전력공사에 정책적 차원의 건의를 하고 전기공사 민간자격 기술자의 체계적 관리 방안을 도출하고자 한다.

Private security industry employers in Korea has not concerned with the importance of training and education by lack of recognition and has been passive about qualified guards. And the authorities supervising and the administrating the guards has not recognized the importance of private security and has neglected the training of the guards. Korea has been operated the guard-instructor system for the acquiring the specialization of the security personnel since 1997, but there has been many problems. This study reviews the guard-instructor system in Korea comprehensively and suggests the efficient operation method of that system.

To improve the compliance and verification mechanism is one of the important reasons to revise the STCW Convention. The mechanism includes the assessment of competence, control, precision of description of competence, quality standard system, communication of information and so on. Chinese seaman's education an training institute & the organization of evaluating and issuing certificates should enhance realizing the importance of compliance and verification mechanism and carry out it down to earth. The current work that should be reinforced is to control the qualified evaluation effectively.

The National Health Insurance Service(NHIS) has been selectively covering the elderly on the dental implant and removable denture treatment and gradually expanding the eligibility criteria. Every dentist needs to have a good understanding of the insurance policy to provide qualified dental service to the beneficiaries and to avoid confusions and complications. In order to help dentists understand the NHIS requirements, the definitions, categories, and procedures of dental implant and conventional denture treatment are suggested.

The purpose of this study is to development the scoring framework for teacher knowledge of fractions. This framework is qualified in the content-validity by professional educators' evaluation and in the reliability by correlation coefficient. 2 math educators judged that this framework is composed of appropriate scoring category, scoring criterion, and scoring level. After 2 teachers scored the tasks, correlation coefficient was calculated between evaluators. The coefficient is evaluated high in that it is more than 0.80.
