The purpose of this study was to support for quality improvement of educational curriculum on hospital administrator through the comparison of competence of new employee and need of field experts based on NCS. The participants of this study were implemented the self-report survey about competency and need on job skills of hospital administrator. According to the comparison, it is defined the point that is needed curriculum improvement and the competency gap between hospital and university hospital. This is support to be establish the base for the qualified education and training program for hospital administrators. NCS is useful as standardized tool for identify the gap between need and competency and as suggestion for education improvement of hospital administrator.

This study empirically investigated the relationships between servant leadership and key variables (knowledge sharing and individual creativity), and the mediating effect of affective commitment with the survey of 213 Korean employees. Based on the sample of 213 employees, the empirical results are as followings; (1) Servant leadership is positively related to affective commitment, knowledge sharing, and creativity. (2) Affective commitment partially mediates the relationship between servant leadership and knowledge sharing. (3) Affective commitment partially mediates the relationship between servant leadership and creativity. In conclusion, this study confirmed that the servant leader and members with the affective commitment may be best qualified for knowledge sharing and creative performance. When employees recognize that their managers follow the characteristics of servant leadership, then the employees are more likely to absorb in their task, which increases creative performance and knowledge accumulation. Based on the results, this study suggests an ample implication for leaders in any organization to boost their relationships with followers and to enhance their knowledge sharing and creative idea for the growth of organization.

Experimental work in underwater acoustic communications using passive phase conjugation has shown that the demodulation error depends on the relative drift rate between the source and receiver [Rouseff et al., IEEE J. Oceanic Eng. 26, 821-831 (2001)]. The observed effect involves the mismatch between the initial impulse response and the subsequent response after the source or receiver has changed locations. In the present work, the effect of drifting source is analyzed by numerical simulations and compared to the experimental results. The communications bit error rate is qualified as a function of drift rate, drifting direction, and source-receiver range.

The Trade Incubator Program at the Korean Universities bridges the gap between traditional industry world and education by offering a unique curriculum to a select group of highly qualified undergraduate students. Working closely with its corporate partners, the TI Program grooms the best and the brightest to be tomorrow's leaders and experts in international trade. There are several implications to improve the process of institutional cooperation with the author's 6 years experience. This paper covers the solution of the problems in the course of collaboration with corporate partners, including the local governments.

This study was conducted to investigate the clear concept of patient safety and obtain theoretical evidences. Methods Research was conducted using Walker & Avant's conceptual analysis process. Results: Patient safety was defined as a activity that minimizes and removes possible errors and injuries to patients. It includes a basic desire to secure the patient's right to safety, and the legal regulations and duties of medical teams. The results of the establishment of a safety culture are patient-centered medical treatment and caring. Antecedents were found to be open and clear communications, continuous education and training for health care personnel, sufficient allocation of qualified personnel, cooperation among departments, improvements in the recognition of patient safety. Consequences were found to be the provision of high quality medical care and treatment, and increase in patient satisfaction. Conclusion: Patient safety as defined by the results of this study will contribute to the foundation of institutionalization of the pursuit of patient safety and creation of a hospital culture focusing on patient safety as a first priority.

The essential amino acids composition of Green algae (chlorella ellipsoidea) that was isolated near the suwon was compared with that of soy flour and the provisional pattern of amino acids of reference protein of FAO and found that the limit amino acid was methionine. The rest of essential amino acids were distributed widely and abunduntly. While soy flour was defficient in methionine and valine on comparing with the provisional pattern. Slightly more content of methionine was recognized in chlorella protein than that of spirulina maxima which was reported to be eaten in the Lake Chard region of Africa and Mexico as a daily food. It was concluded that good quality protein is able to be synthesised from the wild alage if a qualified alage media was given to them.

Since 'Act on Private Participation in Infrastructure' were changed in January 2005, BTL(Build-Transfer-Lease) projects of Private Participation in Infrastructure was introduced in the domestic construction market for the purpose of providing public facilities with the public. Selecting the most qualified Promoter should be considered discreetly in BTL projects because BTL projects is for projects with approximately thirty year project life cycle, plan, construction, operating, maintenance and obviously the success of the project totally depends on the capability and role of Promoter. However, score for cost is likely to influence selecting Promoter to take the project. Accordingly, low bid contract with too much competition could decrease the quality of the construction plan and operating plan. Thus, this study did preliminary research and documents on problems of evaluation criteria for selecting Promoter in BTL projects, and proposed improvement factors by doing questionnaire over specialists of each field.

In this paper, a new design method for IMC-PID that adds a phase scaling factor of system identifications to the standard IMC-PID controller as a control parameter is proposed. Based on analytically derived frequency properties such as gain and phase margins, this tuning rule is an optimal control method determining the optimum values of controlling factors to minimize the cost function, integral error criterion of the step response in time domain, in the constraints of design parameters to guarantee qualified frequency design specifications. The proposed controller improves existing single-parameter design methods of IMC-PID in the inflexibility problem to be able to consider various design specifications. Its effectiveness is examined by a simulation example, where a comparison of the performances obtained with the proposed tuning rule and with other common tuning rules is shown.

Developing countries have faced serious difficulties in implementing customs procedures. For example, they have experienced heavy administrative constraints such as lack of qualified personnel and non-computerization. Some importers in developing countries have tried to undervalue or overvalue the imported goods and misclassify them with the target of lowering the incidence of customs duties. In order to address these problems many of developing countries often require the exporter to get a Clean Report of Findings(CRF) issued by a preshipment inspection entity. This study tries to reply to the following questions with which the exporters are faced in the process of issuance of CRF. First, what are the provisions and regulations that the exporters have to note in the event a CRF is issued by the inspection entity? Second, how do the exporters safeguard their own rights in case of price verification? Third, how to protect the confidential business information to be submitted by the exporters in order to get a CRF? Fourth, how can the exporters respond to the improper conducts that the inspection entities have done?

Recently reliability Improvement and certification are considered as important issues by world-wide leading and highly qualified companies in advanced countries. In Korea, from a few years ago, the policy for reliability certification newly has been driven to improve product competitiveness in part and material industry. As yet the reliability certification is local and domestic, it is necessary to develop local certification system to global certification system. Reliability certification system is composed of accreditation body, testing laboratory and reliability assurance. In this paper, we review the reliability certification system and its application in Korea and the current research trends in advanced countries. Finally we propose some suggestions for the eliability certification system to be an international standard.
