  • This Paper Presents the control structure for incoming traffic from arbitrary node to Provide admission control in policy-based W network management structure using fuzzy logic control approach. The proposed control structure uses scheme for deciding network resource allocation depending on requirements predefined-policies and network states. The proposed scheme enhances policy adapting methods of existing binary methods, and can use resource of network more effectively to provide adaptive admission control, according to the unpredictable network states for predefined QoS policies. Simulation results show that the proposed controller improves the ratio of packet rejection up to 26%, because it Performs the soft adaption based on the network states instead of accept/reject action in conventional CAC(Connection Admission Controller).

  • In the current Internet, InteServ model based on Resource reSerVation Protocol (RSVP), DiffServ Model based on service differentiation according to per hope behavior(PHB) and traffic engineering policy, and two-tire model of above mentioned two models which are adapted differently as the target network status for providing the end-to-end QoS Path are suggested. But, when we integrated this internet QoS into the ATM based network, differences of the connection setup procedure, name/address translation methods, and QoS provisioning mechanisms for end-to-end path setup procedures are introduced. In this paper, we propose the method of shortcut based QoS path setup procedure to solve these problems, and to guarantee the integration and scalability of Next Generation Internet(NGI) names/address in Integrated IP network into ATM based network. This network should support the engineering differentiated into the multiple service classes, which depend on established by this path is designed suitably into the target router and host step by step. In the near future, this function which provide the QoS guaranteed path based on end-to-end shortcut between the configuration devices are extended into the NGI target network.

  • Quality of service (QoS) provision is an important and indispensable function for multi-service wireless networks. In this paper, we present a new scheduling/admission control framework, including an efficient rate-guaranteed opportunistic scheduling (ROS) scheme and a coordinated admission control (ROSCAC) policy to support statistic QoS guarantee in multi-service wireless networks. Based on our proposed mathematical model, we derive the probability distribution function (PDF) of queue length under ROS and deduce the packet loss rate (PLR) for individual flows. The new admission control policy makes admission decision for a new incoming flow to ensure that the PLR requirements of all flows (including the new flow) are satisfied. The numerical results based on ns-2 simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the new joint packet scheduling/admission control framework.

  • This paper investigated the performance of QoS management using variations of RED parameters in Differentiated Service. Differentiated Service separates packets from a specific traffic by using QoS parameters such as CIR or PIR. A code point is used to mark each packet which is enqueued into each virtual queue. Different RED parameters are configured for virtual queues according to each code point. As the code point value increases, the RED parameters become harsher. To show QoS Management using variations of RED parameters, this paper used the policy model of time sliding window with 2 color marking (TSW2CM). Simulation results using NS-2 showed that the QoS management of a differentiated service can be obtained from using variations of RED parameters.

  • With the development of Next Generation convergence Network, the current Internet needs a new network architecture and new session establishment methods, which can support various applications requiring differentiated traffic processing and high quality of service instead of the conventional best-effort service. It is expected that, in next generation network based on All-IP. SIP will play an important role in the session establishment between the end to end user terminals. In this paper, we propose a new network architecture that can provide quality of service based on SIP using the QoS enabled SIP servers and policy servers, and we also propose a new session establishment method that apply the user's demands participating the session establishment when setting up the session using the SIP. Through simulations under various environments, we show the parameter ranges in terms of server capacity and the number of users in access networks to achieve reasonable delay bounds.

  • Tactical networks are evolving into an All-IP based network for network centric warfare(NCW). Owing to the flexibility of IP based network, various military data applications including real-time and multi-media services are being integrated in tactical networks. Because each application has diverse Quality-of-service(QoS) requirements, it is crucial to develop a QoS provisioning method for guaranteeing QoS requirements efficiently. Conventionally, differentiated services(DiffServ) have been used to provide a different level of QoS for traffic flows. However, DiffServ is not designed to guarantee a specific requirement of QoS such as delay, loss, and bandwidth. Therefore, it is not suitable for military applications with a tight bound of QoS requirements. In this paper, we propose a multi-layer network virtualization scheme that allocates traffic flows having different QoS requirements to multiple virtual networks, which are constructed to support different QoS policies such as virtual network functions(VNFs), routing, queueing/active queue management(AQM), and physical layer policy. The experiment results indicate that the proposed scheme achieves lower delays and losses through multiple virtual networks having differentiated QoS policies in comparison with conventional networks.

  • If can be operated on virtually any network transmission media and used to communicate each other whatever system platforms are. But, with the enormous growth of the Internet in the past a few years, the amount of network traffic has increased as the number of users and applications has increased. New applications have new service demands for fulfilling user's satisfaction, and as a result the Internet needs to change as well. This paper shows that why the Internet must change to satisfy the need for QoS to accommodate these and performance of network using QoS establishing 5 Scheme has a dominant improvement through a simulator.

  • In this paper we introduce a bandwidth allocation algorithm and admission control policy for IEEE 802.16 broadband wireless access standard. The proposed mechanism is practical and compatible to the IEEE 802.16. Our scheme provides QoS support to high priority traffic and high throughput in low priority traffic. The simulation show that the proposed scheme includes QoS support for real-time traffic and we presented that BS determine a efficient contention mini-slot size. We have shown the relationship between traffic size and its QoS requirements and the network performance.

  • To satisfy the requirements for QoS and acceptance ratio of the users using multimedia content service, it is required to control mechanism for QoS assurance and allocation of the stream server' resources based on CoS(Class of Service). To compare performance of the algorithm, we have classified the user by two classes (super class, base class) and control the acceptance ratio of user's requests by user's class information. We have experimented the test of network resources and test of processing time under server/client environment and agent environment. MA-URFA based on agent increases the acceptance ratio of super class and utilization ratio of network resources.

  • In this paper we analyse the previous (Quality of Services) and QoE(Quality of Experience) methods, and propose a high reliable network system framework and its service forwarding method that is able to provide seamless N-Screen services for proliferating disaster informations. The service satisfaction measurement, i.e., QoE, of contents consumers in N-screens services is going to be important the factor in disaster information proliferation because N-Screen services in the previous methods based on multi devices only focused on information transmission. The proposed system around these services is composed of a disaster information process framework for accepting user's service requirement, push service modules for minimizing the number of packets to be caused when carrying out the push service, and a push service controller for maximizing QoE measures. In order to provide a seamless N-Screen service on diverse screens, such as smartphone, PC, and big screen, we also have Open API(Application Programming Interface) functions. Through these results, we expect to evaluate QoS and QoE quality in the seamless N-Screen service.
