  • Reinforcement learning is a kind of unsupervised learning methods that an agent control rules from experiences acquired by interactions with environment. The eligibility is used to resolve the credit-assignment problem which is one of important problems in reinforcement learning, Conventional eligibilities such as the accumulating eligibility and the replacing eligibility are ineffective in use of rewards acquired in learning process, since on1y one executed action for a visited state is learned. In this paper, we propose a new eligibility, called the distributed eligibility, with which not only an executed action but also neighboring actions in a visited state are to be learned. The fuzzy Q-learning algorithm using the proposed eligibility is applied to a cart-pole balancing problem, which shows the superiority of the proposed method to conventional methods in terms of learning speed.

  • Defining of signage market types is an issue of great interest for both service providers and consumers. Through an interview with an expert with a deep understanding about digital signage in early-media stage, and based on analysis results, this study induced three types of signage market types. Each signage market type can be explained by their similar thoughts, opinions, concepts, and behaviors, but are dependent on the differences in a user experiences and knowledge. The study named the interactive signage market as Type 1, the network signage market as Type 2, and the signage-coupled-with-other-media market as Type 3.

  • Reinforcement Learning is a computational approach to learning whereby an agent take an action which maximize the total amount of reward it receives among possible actions within current state when interacting with a uncertain environment. Q-learning, one of the most active algorithm in Reinforcement Learning, is consist of rewards which is obtained when an agent take an action. But it has the problem with mapping real world to discrete states. When state spaces are very large, Q-learning suffers from time for learning. In constant, when the state space is reduced, many state spaces map to single state space. Because an agent only learns single action within many states, an agent takes an action monotonously. In this paper, to reduce time for learning and complement simple action, we propose the Q-learning using influence map(QIM). By using influence map and adjacent state space's learning result, an agent could choose proper action within uncertain state where an agent does not learn. When this paper compares simulation results of QIM and Q-learning, we show that QIM effects as same as Q-learning even thought QIM uses 4.6% of the Q-learning's state spaces. This is because QIM learns faster than Q-learning about 2.77 times and the state spaces which is needed to learn is reduced, so the occurred problem is complemented by the influence map.

  • A novel method to reject the spurious signals which are occurred at Weaver-type low-IF transmitter was proposed in this paper. The spurious signals are generated by the gain and phase imbalances of I/Q channel or imperfect characteristics of 90$^{\circ}$ phase shifter in local oscillator for I/Q channel source. By deriving the gain and phase-based functions from RF spurious signal with the channel imbalance information, the lie channel imbalances were deduced as functions with magnitude and sign dependent on I/Q channel imbalance degree. The proposed method compensates the estimated I/Q channel imbalances by correlation values between the down-converted signal obtained by squaring the output signal itself using a simple mixer and the modified baseband signal. By comparing two signals after A/D conversion, the magnitude and sign of each type of imbalances can be determined separately and simultaneously. Based on the I/Q channel imbalance compensation, the spurious signals can be reduced by adjusting the gain and phase values of I or Q channel signal. The way to estimate the channel imbalances of the up-conversion mixer was presented and verified by using theoretical derivations and computer simulations.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore how school social workers recognize on the school violence of adolescents by using Q methodology. To this study, selected 31 of Q samples related school violence of adolescent by applying Q methodology and 33 of socials workers completed classification table, and three types were derived. The first type is named 'a type of improvement parents' concern with nonprofessional perception' because it has a significant part in bringing up children by parents to prevent school violence of adolescent and also has a negative perception, which is difficult to approach professional intervention. The second type is named 'a type of uncertainty of responsibility with passive perception' because there is an ambiguousness between responsibility and criteria through connection of official on the school violence. The third type is named 'a type of absence of responsibility with professional perception' because it is perceived absence of job roles to prevent school violence. This type showed school social workers, as a professionals of school violence of adolescents, wanted to intervene school violence but realistic intervention was difficult. From this study, it is considered subjective perception of school social workers on the school violence of adolescents will be affected on the change of adolescents in the future, and it is a significant way to use them as a basic data to prevent or remove school violence of adolescents in the school through conception and typology of them.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the reliability of Q-sorting and to develope a typology of coping to stress in school-age children through the use of Q-methodology. For the study, Q-statements are selected from the literature and interviews of 30 Children, A total number 153 statement were collected and 31 Q-samples were finally selected. AP-sample of 76 was selected the elementary school children. Each of respondents were given 31 coping strategies questionnaire and set of 31 statements with cartoon on each of cards and sorted them according to the 9-point scale. The result of the C-sorting by each subject were coded and analyzed using the QUANAL PC and SPSS PC+ program. As a result of the analysis, There were significant relationship between score each item of question naire and score of sorted statement. Therefore, school-age children was able to Q-sorting(forced normal distribution). Also, the four types of coping were named as follows : Type I (n=35) : To search for the dynamic behaviors Type II (n=12) : To search for the intellectual behaviors Type III (n=22) : To search for emotional-spiritual behaviors Type IV (n=7) : To search for the self-abuse behaviors Throught the study, the implication for teachers, parents and school nurses is that there is needed to guide and to support adaptive coping behaviors. Also, it is recommended that the application of Q-methodology for study of children's subjective concepts like stress and coping.
