피라미드코어재를 갖는 접합판재의 L-굽힘가공 특성 (Deformation Pattern of the Pyramid-Core Welded Sandwich Sheet Metal in L-Bending)

  • The L-bending of inner-structure bonded sandwich sheet metal is examined by using a bending die attached to the material testing machine. The specimen is composed of top and bottom layers and a middle layer of pyramid-core structure and each layer is bonded by brazing. The variables chosen for experiments were clearance between punch and die, location of bend line on the specimen surface and clamping type of specimen during L-bending. Effects of these variables on deformation of specimen around die-corner radius were investigated. It was shown that the irregular shapes of recess are formed in the inner layer of bended parts and they greatly depend on working conditions.

  • A condensed model is proposed for the simulation of forming of sandwich sheet with pyramid core. A corresponding finite element analysis for L-type bending is carried out to prove the accuracy and the effectiveness. Simulation results are compared with those of experiment. Deformation shape and post-buckling behavior by simulation are in good agreement with those of experiment for the considerable range of deformation. From the comparison of force-displacement curve, it is shown that the proposed model shows good prediction of the forming force compared to the experiment. Thus, the effectiveness of the proposed method is sufficiently demonstrated.

An Approach to Improve the Contrast of Multi Scale Fusion Methods

  • Various approaches have been proposed to convert low dynamic range (LDR) to high dynamic range (HDR). Of these approaches, the Multi Scale Fusion (MSF) algorithm based on Laplacian pyramid decomposition is used in many applications and demonstrates its usefulness. However, the pyramid fusion technique has no means for controlling the luminance component because the total number of pixels decreases as the pyramid rises to the upper layer. In this paper, we extract the reflection light of the image based on the Retinex theory and generate the weight map by adjusting the reflection component. This weighting map is applied to achieve an MSF-like effect during image fusion and provides an opportunity to control the brightness components. Experimental results show that the proposed method maintains the total number of pixels and exhibits similar effects to the conventional method.

  • 최근 딥러닝 기술의 발전으로 영상 분류 및 영상 내 객체 검출뿐만 아니라 CNN 기반의 segmentation 기술도 개발되어 다른 요소까지 포함한 직사각형 영역의 검출 영역이 아닌 경계까지 고려한 분리가 가능하게 되었다. 더불어 사람 영역을 신체부위나 의류 부분과 같은 세부 영역으로 나누어 분리하는 human parsing 기술까지 연구되고 있다. Human parsing은 의류스타일 분석 및 검색, 사람의 행동 인식 및 추적과 같은 분야에도 응용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 Spatial pyramid pooling layer를 이용하여 영상 전체에 대한 공간적 분포 및 특성 정보를 고려한 human parsing 기법을 제안한다. Look into person(LIP) dataset을 이용하여 기존의 다른 segmentation 및 human parsing 기법과 제안하는 기법을 비교하여 제안하는 기법의 human parsing 결과가 보다 정교한 분리가 가능한 것을 확인하였다.

교두변위와 선수축량의 연관성 분석 (Correlation between Linear polymerization shrinkage & tooth cuspal deflection)

  • 이 논문의 목적은 복합레진과 컴포머에서, 중합수축의 양과 이로 인하여 야기되는 교두변위와의 상관관계를 알아보기 위함이다. 수복재료로서 Dyract AP, Compoglass F, Z100, Surefil, Pyramid, Synergy Compact, Heliomolar와 Heliomolar HB가 사용되었으며, 접착제로서는 SE Bond 가 사용되었다. 수복재료의 중합수축의 양을 측정하기 위하여, 자체 제작한 linometer를 사용하여, 60초간 일어나는 선수축량을 측정하였다. 한 수복재료 당 10회 측정하였으며, one way ANOVA와 사후검정방법으로 Tukey Test를 이용하여 $95\%$ 신뢰수준에서 각 수복재료의 중합수축량의 차이를 비교하였다. 치아에서 일어나는 교두변위의 양을 측정하기 위하여 사람의 상악소구치에 표준화된 MOD 와동을 형성하고(깊이 3mm, 넓이 3.5mm), 접착제를 도포한 후 광조사 시킨 후, 수복재료로 충전하였다 치아를 자체 제작한 교두변위 측정장치에 위치시키고, 광조사 시키고, 이 때 발생하는 교두의 변위를 10분간 측정하였다. 한 수복재료 당 15회를 측정하였으며 one way ANOVA와 사후검정방법으로 Tykey Test를 이용하여 $95\%$ 신뢰수준에서 각 수복재료의 교두변위 량의 차이를 비교하였다. 중합수축의 양과 교두변위의 양의 상관관계를 회귀분석법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 중합수축의 양은 Heliomolar, Surefil < Heliomolar HB < Z100, Synergy Compact < Dyract AP, Pyramid, Compoglass F (p < 0.05), 교두변위의 양은 Heliomolar, Surefil, Z100, Heliomolar HB, Synergycompact < Compoglass F < Pyramid, Dyract AP (p < 0.05) 였다. 중합수축의 양과 교두변위는 높은 상관관계를 나타내었다 (p < 0.001).

Potential of chemical rounding for the performance enhancement of pyramid textured p-type emitters and bifacial n-PERT Si cells

  • We have investigated the effects of chemical rounding (CR) on the surface passivation and/or antireflection performance of $AlO_{x^-}$ and $AlO_x/SiN_x:H$ stack-passivated pyramid textured $p^+$-emitters with two different boron doping concentrations, and on the performance of bifacial n-PERT Si solar cells with a front pyramid textured $p^+$-emitter. From experimental results, we found that chemical rounding markedly enhances the passivation performance of $AlO_x$ layers on pyramid textured $p^+$-emitters, and the level of performance enhancement strongly depends on boron doping concentration. Meanwhile, chemical rounding increases solar-weighted reflectance ($R_{SW}$) from ~2.5 to ~3.7% for the $AlO_x/SiN_x:H$ stack-passivated pyramid textured $p^+$-emitters after 200-sec chemical rounding. Consequently, compared to non-rounded bifacial n-PERT Si cells, the short circuit current density Jsc of 200-sec-rounded bifacial n-PERT Si cells with ~60 and ${\sim}100{\Omega}/sq$ $p^+$-emitters is reduced by 0.8 and $0.6mA/cm^2$, respectively under front $p^+$-emitter side illumination. However, the loss in the short circuit current density Jsc is fully offset by the increased fill factor FF by 0.8 and 1.5% for the 200-sec-rounded cells with ~60 and ${\im}100{\Omega}/sq$ $p^+$-emitters, respectively. In particular, the cell efficiency of the 200-sec-rounded cells with a ${\sim}100{\Omega}/sq$ $p^+$-emitter is enhanced as a result, compared to that of the non-rounded cells. Based on our results, it could be expected that the cell efficiency of bifacial n-PERT Si cells would be improved without additional complicated and costly processes if chemical rounding and boron doping processes can be properly optimized.

피라미드 구조를 이용한 계층적 hausdorff distance 정합 (Hierarchical hausdorff distance matching using pyramid structures)

  • This paper proposes a hierarchical Hausdorff distance (HD) matching algorithm baased on coarse-to-fine approach. It reduces the computational complexity greatly by using the pyramidal structures consisting of distance transform (DT) and edge pyramids. Also, inthe proposed hierarchical HD matching, a thresholding method is presented to find an optimal matching position with small error, in which the threshold values are determined by using the property between adjacent level of a DT map pyramid. By computer simulation, the performance of the conventional and proposed hierarchical HD matching algorithms is compared in therms of the matching position for binary images containing uniform noise.

피라미드 형태의 적재장 최적 설계 (Designing Stacking Facilities of Pyramid Type)

  • This paper proposes a method for designing stacking warehouses of pyramid type which can be found in storage rooms for steel coils, paper rolls, and drums for oils. Formulas were derived for estimating the expected travel time of cranes and the expected time for rehandling activities. Based on the derived formulas, this study derives the cost function for determining the optimal numbers of rows, bays, tiers of stacks under the condition that the requirement for storage space is satisfied. Numerical examples were given.
