The emerging smart world based on IoT requires deployment of a large number of diverse sensors to generate data pertaining to different applications. Recent years have witnessed a plethora of IoT solutions beneficial to various application domains, IoT techniques also help boost agricultural productivity by increasing crop yields and reducing losses. This paper presents a predictive IoT smart farm platform for forcast services. We built an online agricultural forecasting service that collects microclimate data from weather stations in real-time. To demonstrate effectiveness of our proposed system, we designed a frost and pest forecasting modes on the microclimate data collected from weather stations, notifies the possibilities of frost, and sends pest forecast messages to farmers using push services so that they can protect crops against damages. It is expected to provide effectively that more precise climate forecasts thus could potentially precision agricultural services to reduce crop damages and unnecessary costs, such as the use of non-essential pesticides.

Recently, many auto makers and OEM are now developing various telematics control units(TCU). TCU has an embedded OS and many user-friendly services inherently and frequently the driver operates the TCU on driving a car. Although the TCU has some accident resistive functions, secondhand accidental problem arose. Current Korean domestic TCUs have some interfaces such as push-button, touch screen, voice recognition and etc. But, because of operational complexity, technical limitation, it has not sufficient user-friendly interface. In this paper, to overcome this problem, haptic devices are considered. We present haptic devices and applications on the basis of that of U.S. Immersion co. and also BMW's iDrive technology.

점차 규모가 확대되어 가는 전자상거래 분야에서 차별화를 위하여 개인화된 서비스 제공을 위한 one-to-one 마케팅을 도입하였다. 기존의 가상 상점들을 사용자가 구매를 원하는 물건을 검색하여 찾아야 하는데, push기술과 에이젼트를 도입함으로써 고객에게 맞춤 서비스를 제공한다. 고객의 선호도 조사와 로그인한후의 행위를 모니터링하고 구매결과들을 분석하여 다음 고객의 방문시 그 고객만의 상점을 제공해준다. 모니터링 에이젼트(Monitoring Agent), 분석 에이젼트(Analysis Agent)의 도입으로 고객이 정말 원하는 것이 무엇인지 고객이 인지 못하고 있는 것도 제시함으로써 정보의 유용성을 높여주고, 개인화 에이젼트(Personalize Agent)를 통해 고객의 편의 도모뿐만 아니라 Rule-based에 근거하여 고객이 관심 있을 만한 상품과 광고를 선정해 제시함으로써 구매를 자극한다. 본 시스템에선 자바의 "Write Once, Run Anywhere" 성격에서 잘 나타난 분산환경에서의 장점을 이용하고자 최대한 자바의 기술을 사용해서 시스템을 설계하고 에이젼트를 만들었다.이젼트를 만들었다.

Bluetooth low energy (BLE) beacon is an actively push-to-broadcast electronic signal and can be used for object identification. This paper uses such beacon-based identification and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies for the elder health management service system to simplify the user interfaces and steps for preventive elder care. In the proposed system, an elder's family member, caregiver, or medical worker can conveniently and quickly record daily health management information. Besides, through the statistics and analysis of the data on the back end of the system, it is helpful for the elderly to refer to the data of daily care management and future management trends. Similarly, it is also an essential reference data for system maintenance and the new preventive health care services development.

최근 무선 인터넷 사용자가 급증하고 있다. 이에 따라 무선 상거래, 무선 광고와 같은 응용의 신속한 지원을 위해 WAP 푸쉬 서비스를 제공하는 모바일 응용의 생산성 향상이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 MAG은 데이터베이스부터 구축해야 하는 WAP 응용과 기존 데이터베이스를 사용하는 WAP 응용의 신속한 작성을 위해 필요한 EJB 컴포넌트들과 질의 처리 및 푸쉬 서비스를 위한 관리자음 JSP 웹 컴포넌트를 생성하고 처리된 결과를 보여주는 HTML 폼을 생성한다. 또한, MAG온 질의 처리를 위한 고객용 JSP 웹 컴포넌트와 무선 응용의 사용자 인터페이스로 사용되는 WML 데크들과 함께 이 데크를 구성하는 카드들을 자동 생성한다. MAG온 EJB와 JSP 등의 컴포넌트 기술을 도입함으로써 3-계층 구조를 갖는 WAP 응용의 확장성, 재사용성, 이식성 등도 지원한다 WAP 푸쉬는 고객이 원하는 시점과 장소에서 정보를 제공받을 수 있다는 점에서 서비스를 향상시킬 수 있다. 또한 비슷한 기능을 지원하는 타 상응 도구들과 달리 MAG이 생성하는 응용은 질의의 대상인 개체와 연관된 모든 개체들의 집합을 한 단위로 검색 할 수 있어 연관된 정보들을 신속하게 제공할 수 있다.

Real time multimedia data services have been made possible by the rapid development of the computer and internet technology. Based on the technology, Many multimedia system developer try to use VOD(Video on Demand) and GVA technologies for distance education. However the system has mainly been developed to provide the video screen of good quality in real time and to compose contents efficiently. Not many researches and developments have been made for providing the users that is taking distance education with various types of service using VOD and GVA. Therefore In this paper we have designed and implemented an active on-demand multimedia service system to improve user-side service quality in distance education using VOD and GVA service. The on-demand multimedia service system can prominently help users to save the time and effort to search and select the studying data by this paper enables off-line search functions through E-mail and periodical current awareness service supported by PUSH technology, user oriented information booking supported by SDI service and feedback service.

CORBA Trader Service is to locate appropriate objects that provide the desired functionality at runtime. To provide this service, the Trader Service federates a local trader and remote traders by considering the Traders or Link policies, and it returns the service offers that are requested by the importer. This traditional way of trading reveals a performance problem due to the low response time. The response time largely depends on the amounts of service offers of the Importer's request and the frequency of federations with the other trader. The performance is a key factor for evaluating the Trader Service performance.In order to overcome the low response time and to provide the high-quality services, we propose new policies of Import and Trader, and present a PUTS(Push Trader Service) model which implements this new advanced trader service. We present the design and implementation of the PUTS's major modules, also make a comparison between PUTS system and traditional trader system in terms of performance and functionality through case studies.

To provide real-time traffic conditions, crowd sourcing based traffic information services in which users directly report and share traffic conditions are being developed. However, the existing traffic information service provides limited traffic conditions because it only shares information reported by specific service participants. In this paper, we design and develop a crowd sourcing based traffic information service that provides real-time traffic conditions by collecting direct reports from users and public traffic conditions. The proposed service allows users to directly report traffic conditions by voice and text, and collects and integrates traffic conditions published by external organizations. The collected traffic conditions are provided in real time through a push service, and new traffic conditions are transmitted when the user's location changes. The proposed service can report traffic conditions and share real-time traffic conditions through an Android app.

As the ubiquitous technology has been widespread, the u-service development driven by the private sector is increasing these days. In this paper, a new development methodology of interactive u-services for a mixed-use complex in u-City is proposed. The current state-of-the-art IT, Web2.0, assumes that information must be communicated in both way, not only from service provides to users but also from users to service providers. Here the user-driven u-service will be utilized for service providers to customize user services. By this interactive u-service paradigm, the information users become the information providers so that the mixed-use complex will take advantage of massive information. Also, admitting that the mixed-use complex is limited in terms of the space size, the network effect of information and shared contents created through the interactive u-services can be maximized.
