An Analysis Study of Business Korean Textbook for Chinese (중국인을 위한 비즈니스 한국어 교재 분석 연구)

  • Recently, Chinese universities have been putting their priority on cultivating industry-academia linked talents, catching up with social change and industrial demand. Accordingly, vocational purpose education is being emphasized even in Korean language education. When facing active trade between Korea and China, the importance of business Korean language education will be magnified, and therefore, the demand for business Korean textbooks will grow accordingly. To strengthen the basis for the development of future business Korean textbooks, this study conducted a general analysis of a business Korean textbook for Chinese learners. Specifically, the textbook was examined by largely dividing it into external and internal structures. After dividing the internal structure into "purpose of compilation", "composition of the textbook", "learning contents", and "learning activity", the composition of the textbook was once again divided into "overall composition" and "unit composition", and the learning contents was further divided into "subject", "language content", and "supplementary knowledge." Furthermore, an analysis was conducted. The status and directions for future development of business Korean textbooks for Chinese learners are delineated and suggestions for improvement are provided. This study has its significant in that a general analysis was conducted on a business Korean textbook for Chinese learners, and is expected to be used as basic research material for the future development of business Korean textbooks.

  • This paper makes a comparative analysis of and (Third Edition) textbook. In the introduction part, it puts forward the purpose, significance and research object of the text, combs the general situation of the research on the arrangement of business Chinese textbook, discusses the concept and characteristics of business Chinese, and then makes a detailed comparative analysis of and Two Business Textbooks for Korean and Chinese. Firstly, the paper compares the compiling principles, compiling purposes and applicable objects. Then, it compares the text content, vocabulary selection, grammar teaching, culture and other aspects. Business Chinese has more international teaching ideas and diversified teaching methods in textbook editing, while the former is more targeted in different countries, reflecting more contents of cultural comparison between China and Korea in textbook content. we hope to find a reasonable plan for the compilation of Korean business Chinese textbooks.

A Study on Compilation Strategy of 『Manufacturing Processes』 Textbook for Technical High School based on the 2007 Revised National Curriculum (2007년 개정 교육과정에 의한 '기계 공작법' 교과서 편찬 방안 연구)

  • The aim of this study is to select lesson contents of "Manufacturing Processes" textbook and to provide means to improve the compilation strategy based on the 2007 revised national curriculum. For accomplishing this purpose of the study, reviews of "Manufacturing Processes" textbook by 7th national curriculum and questionaries are conducted. Contents organization of lessons is done by specialists. The results are as followed: first, Changing in contents organization of units and chapters in "Manufacturing Processes" textbook based on the 2007 Revised National Curriculum is confirmed. Second, learning subjects of lessons are reformed and complemented. Third, contents organization of units, chapters, lessons are indicated.

  • The purpose of this study is to find problems of "Electricity equipmentand" and "Electricity practic II" tectbook applied in 6th Technical High School Curriculum and to make direction of "Power equipment II" textbook applied in 7th Technical High School Curriculum. The method of this study is questionnaire survey. 120 teachers of 40 schools were selected by cluster sampling method. The main findings of this study are as follow. 1) We should make the composition of textbook easy. 2)The illustration, photograph and drawing of textbook are fitted well. 3) "power equipment II" textbook applied in 7th Technical High School Curriculum would contented follows : lighting equipment, elevator equipment, broadcasting equipment, interphone equipment.

Development of Practical Arts Textbook of 'Real Life's Electricity and Electronics' unit for Creative Problem Solving Abilities (창의적 문제해결력을 기르는 초등학교 실과 교과서 '생활 속의 전기.전자' 단원의 개발)

  • The purpose of the study was to develop a practical arts textbook for creative problem solving abilities in elementary school. In this study the practical arts textbook and teacher's guide has the following characteristics: they were developed to promote creative problem-solving ability, and to instill curiosity and interest about the subject matter. The procedure for the development of the practical arts textbook for creative problem solving abilities is composed of 4 steps; the planning and preparation stage, the research and developmental stage, the writing and compilation stage and the deliberation and improvement stage. This procedure for the development of a textbook can apply to both government published textbooks and to authorized textbooks. The validity of the writing and compilation stage's practical arts textbook developed model is the highest at 4.21, followed by the research and developmental stage's average, at 4.14. Among the textbook's stages of development, the importance of the deliberation and improvement stage averages the lowest, at 3.50.

A Research on the Actual Condition of Education on the Western Clothing Construction in Home Economics and Housework Curriculum of High School in Chonbuk Province (전라북도 고등학교 가정.가사 과목의 서양의복구성 교육실태)

  • The purpose of this study was to survey the actual condition of education on the western clothing construction in Home Economics and Housework curriculum of high school. And the finding of this study will the helpful to the persons in authority who take part in the course of compilation of the western clothing contruction. The subjects of this study were 101 high school teachers in Chonbuk province. Their responses to the questionaires were analyzed by frequencies and percentiles. The major findings of the study were as follows. 1. Most high school had only a little educational facilities for learning of clothing construction of, if any, they could only show examples in practice. 2 In case of making clothes, students who sew by hand carried out drafting and cutting on their desks in the classroom. When they have practical training, 56.4% of them cheese only one of one-piece dress trousers, and skirt which are presented in the textbook. The related teachers indicated that content composition of the texbook was not fit for the purpose of the students level, and also pointed out the deficiencies of educational facilities, lack of teacher’s research and training, and lack of school hours of evaluation, practical skill was performed in parallel with paper-test at 73.3%. 3. Pajamas and one-piece dress presented in the textbook were the most suitable for the practice at 64.7%. They hoped that illustrations in textbook are so large and full that clothes made through the practice can be worn. Also they hoped that their opinions and wearable guidance will be reflected in the textbook. They emphasized the need of western clothing construction unit because of acquistion of elementary knowledge. The current amount of content composition was enough or excessive. In addition, they understood the curriculum of high school is rather closely connected with that of middles school. Their recognition of the rate of difficulty is very similar to that of other school teachers. They recognized the goal of learning should be applied to the real home life.

Analysis on the Contents about Geological Domain with Regard to the Change of the Elementary Science Curriculum (초등과학 교육과정 변천에 따른 지질 영역에 관한 내용 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of the geology-related contents in the 1st~7th elementary science curriculum. Our analysis was based on the analytical frameworks of geology-related contents (the structure of the contents, the amount of teaming, the contents of the experimental activities, the transitions of the terminology, and the change in the number of illustrations). The results are as follows: 1. Consistently covered contents were limited to weathering of the rock and soil, igneous rock, sedimentary rock, metamorphic rock, and the change of the earth's, fold and fault, earthquake and volcano, geologic stratum and fossil. 2. The geological contents account for (average), 11.5% (maximum), and 5.1% (minimum) of the elementary science curriculum. Most contents covered in the curriculum were rock and soil, and the change of the earth's surface. 3. Continuously covered experimental contents were the weathering and soil, igneous rock, change of the earth's surface, geologic stratum and fossil. 4. The terminology on the rock was the most frequently changed. Whenever the curriculum changed, the addition, deletion, or renaming of terminology led to confusions. 5. In terms of the transition of illustrations, the pictures replaced the figures or diagrams as the representative illustration methods as the science or the textbook compilation skill develope. The cartoons or tables were also used increasingly in order to help the children to understand and pay attention to study.

A Study on Cold Damage(傷寒) in the Compendium of Prescription from the Countryside(鄕藥集成方) - Focusing on citation, medical theory, prescription, medicinal herbs - (조선 의서 『향약집성방』 중에 실린 상한(傷寒) 논의 연구 - 인용 문헌, 의론(醫論), 처방, 본초 등을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this paper is to derive the features of cold damage clinical medicine during the early days of the Chosun(朝鮮) period by analyzing discussions on cold damage published in the official medical book of the Chosun period, Compendium of Prescription from the Countryside(鄕藥集成方, CPC). Cold damage was one of the typical diseases in East Asia where there was constant seeking of the utilization of prescriptions, ways of preparations, and awareness regarding cold damage as shown in Zhang, Zhongjing(張仲景)'s Treatise on Cold Damage Disease(傷寒論, TCDD) below. Traditional Korean medicine which possessed the medical universality of East Asia also was no exception and through an analysis of the part on cold damage in CPC, it is expected that medical features of cold damage in Korea passed down from the Koryo(高麗) Dynasty to the early Chosun period will be revealed. For this, first there needs to be an organization of past discussions on cold damage surrounding the existence of infection and after checking the issues, exploring which of the writings related to TCDD and editions are being utilized through an analysis on citing literature of Cold Damage Disease Literature(傷寒門) and Heat Pathogen Disease Literature(熱病門) which have developed discussions on cold damage in CPC. In addition, by comparing Peaceful Holy Benevolent Prescription(太平聖惠方, PHBP) and Complete Record of Sacred Benevolence(聖濟總錄, CRSB), known to have greatly influenced CPC and Cold Damage Literature and Heat Pathogen Disease Literature, features of form and content used by CPC were analyzed. Features of form were examined through pattern of organization and number of citing literature were examined and for features of content, cold damage infection, classification, syndrome differentiation method, and utilization of materia medica among prescriptions were examined. Discussions on cold damage as being uninfectious as stated in Treatise on the Pathogenesis and Manifestations of All Diseases(諸病源候論) unlike pestilence, epidemic pathogen(時氣), warm pathogen disease(溫病), and heat pathogen disease were excluded in PHBP. PHBP opened the possibility of cold damage infection and later writings, CRSB and CPC also follow this. As a result of analyzing citing literature of the part on cold damage in CPC, it is uncertain which edition of TCDD is being utilized; however, the most distinctive feature was that Classified Emergency Materia Medica(證類本草) and not writings specializing in cold damage are in use. In general, although CPC in terms of form is similar to CRSB, content creation predominantly depended on PHBP. More specifically; first, in terms of the existence of cold damage infection, arguments of PHBP and CRSB are maintained. Second, in terms of cold damage classification, although CRSB is followed, heat pathogen disease is classified separately developing PHBP as is. Third, in terms of method, as Book of Keep Healthy(南陽活人書) and CRSB compiled in later times are cited, it is deemed that arguments were raised to a certain extent regarding six-meridian syndrome differentiation(六經辨證). Fourth, although the majority of utilized materia medica among cold damage prescriptions utilize Materia Medica from the Countryside(鄕藥本草) in CPC and materia medica from Korean Peninsula, this is due to the desire for the compilation performance of CPC to be propagated to ordinary citizens and not the ruling class. CPC as the official medical book compiled in the early days of the Chosun period was greatly influenced by the Song(宋) Dynasty's medical books, PHBP and CRSB shows that cold damage medicine in the early Chosun Period indeed possesses the medical universality of East Asia. Furthermore, the features of published medical theory and prescriptions reveal the existence of the cold damage medical tradition of the Chosun period serving as clues for cold damage research tradition among Korea's medical history.
