Purpose : Complementary and alternative therapies(CAT) are defined as those treatments and healthcare practices not taught widely in medical schools, not generally used in hospitals, and not usually reimbursed by health care insurance. Recently, CAT have become increasingly popular with health care consumers and health care professionals. This study investigated nurses' perceptions and experiences with CAT. Method: 124 nurses who were working in university hospitals in Seoul and Inchon were randomly selected as participants for this study. They answered open and closed questionnaires on their Perceptions and experiences with CAT. Results: Most of the subjects recognized the existence of CAT (86.3%), and expected a treatment effect from CAT when it is combined with conventional therapy (84.7%). Nurses accepted CAT positively as complement for conventional therapy and useful modalities of psychological support when its effects have been proven scientifically. Forty nurses (32.3%) had learned CAT including soojichim, aroma therapy, relaxation, meditation, music therapy, massage, and acupressure. Eight nurses (6.5%) used CAT with patients including soojichim, hand massage, relaxation, and music therapy. Conclusion: In spite of the nurses' positive perceptions of CAT, the nurses' professional experiences were quite limited. Nurses need authorized training programs and continuing education opportunities in CAT. This would increase their ability to use CAT. But to improve scientific knowledge more evidence based research is.

Purpose: This study was done to identify cell phone addiction in high school students and variables predicting this addiction. Methods: The participants were 469 adolescents from four high schools. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires, and analyzed using the SPSS program. Results: Of the high school students, 88.4% reported being average users, 7.5%, heavy users, and 4.1%, cell phone addicted. Cell phone addiction was significantly correlated with immediate self-control, self-efficacy, depression, and peer support. Predictors of cell phone addiction were the following: receiving text message on weekends, immediate self-control, main use (text message), minute per call on weekdays, listening to music, gender (female), monthly call charges, depression, person called (friends), and self-efficacy. These factors explained 39% of variance in cell phone addiction. Conclusion: The above findings indicate that cell phone addiction in high school students was influenced by gender, cell phone use, and psychological factors. Therefore the approach to effective cell phone addiction management for high school students is to consider these variables when developing programs for these students.

The manipulation of the device by hand while driving is a major factor to increase the risk of accidents, and the design of in-vehicle voice conversational interface that can compensate for this is being actively researched. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the use of the barge-in function of in-vehicle voice interface on user experience. Participants were asked to carry out two tasks, one for navigation and one for music play. We conducted a survey to measure the functional user 's experience after each participant' s tasks, and measured usefulness, usability, satisfaction, and emotion as user experience factors. As a result, Barge-in has been rated as the better choice for most experience factors. There was a significant effect on usability dimension in navigation task and significant effects on usability dimension and emotional dimension in music play task. So it was found that barge-in function had a positive effect on actual user's usability and emotional dimension.

Drum Set are representative instruments that use grips in modern popular music. Depending on how and how clearly you hold the basic grip, it also affects your performance ability. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses of each grip, derive the resulting complex effects, and present practical application plans to the drummers. The research method is largely divided into traditional and matched grips, and in detail, German, American, French, and hybrid styles are included to analyze the performance method utilized. It also refers to the grip method of all drummers from the 1930s to the present, which was registered in Drummer World, an overseas drum site. This study proposed several application plans by classifying and analyzing the most basic grip methods in drum set in detail. I was able to see that the performance impact was different depending on the grip, and I think it will be more helpful for future performances if I understand both the positive and adverse functions of each grip and play it.

As parents are interested in music education for infants in these days, they require systems to help these infants to actively play music. In this paper, we propose a keyboard solo system using a real time hand recognition method. In order to enable the infants to use the system easily, the proposed system plays some sounds whenever the infants move their fingers on a paper piano. For the purpose of minimizing cost to play music, the proposed system utilizes a general PC with only a paper piano, a web camera, and a speaker. With the aim of precisely and efficiently recognizing both a hand and each key on keyboard, the proposed system divides a recognition step into a hand recognition step and a keyboard recognition step. Also, the hand recognition step considers only skin color, and the keyboard recognition step considers only black and white without other colors.

The purpose of this study was to investigate if a positive psychological-based music therapy program for gambling addicts' families, causes explicit or implicit attitude change towards gambling addicts. The study focused on families with gambling addicts, who use counseling centers for gambling addiction, or participate in GAM-ANON (GA). The experimental group (n=11) participated in 8 sessions of a positive psychology-based group music therapy program, and the control group (n=8) participated in 8 sessions of personal counseling, or GA family gatherings. To confirm treatment effectiveness, the attitude towards the family relationship, was measured by the explicit (Family Relation Scale) and Implicit Association Task (IAT) methods. Additionally, change in emotions including and anger (PANAS, HBDIS), was measured. Results of the study showed that positive emotions increased significantly, in the positive psychotherapy-based music therapy group compared, to the control group. However, in the treatment group with implicit attitudes, the rate of association of negative words with families accelerated significantly, suggesting that gambling addicts' families may have higher negative emotions. For the future, we discussed the necessity of providing a treatment program, that can directly lead to changes in attitudes of family members of gambling addicts.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the accessibility of the Cakewalk TTS-1 for the screen reader users. An evaluation was performed by testing the accessibility of a editing virtual instrument that is a part of MIDI production based on the NCS(National Competency Standards) by using the TTS-1 and the Sense Reader. The results of this study are as follows. The TTS-1 itself can't provide enough accessibility for the screen users to do an above task. But the screen reader users can perform the above tasks if they use extended access functions like Sense Reader's Mouse Pointer function, Position Memory function and MIDI Control Signal function. Even if they use the extended access function, there are functions that is difficult to access. To solve this problem, several suggestions are proposed.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore and examine the factors influencing customer satisfaction and subscription intention in order to propose useful implication regarding subscription economy model. Methods: This study adopts the extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology model (UTAUT2) as the theoretical framework. On the basis of literature review, this study suggested 9 related hypothesis. To examine the hypothesis proposed, the study designed surveys with 32 questions and 456 answers were collected for the analysis. The study adopted a structural equation model and path analysis, using AMOS and SPSS programs. Results: The results of this study are as follow: All hypothesis except performance expectancy and effort expectancy have significant influence on customer satisfaction. Performance expectancy and effort expectancy have no significant influence on customer satisfaction and facilitate condition is significant but negatively associated with customer satisfaction. Conclusion: Result of this study is expected to suggest data regarding subscription economy and customer satisfaction for business with subscription model. In detail the result implies that highly sophisticated curation system would create more customer satisfaction and subscription intention rather than how a subscription-based platform is easily used. Moreover, curation system of subsription-based music platform should function with high accuracy on recommendation in a creative visual form in order to gain comparative advantage while most platforms have built own curation service.

This study facility use and satisfaction of the users of Han River Citizen's Park in Ttuksum district in order to provide foundational data necessary for planning and designing to enhance general user satisfaction when building new riverside parks or reorganizing existing riverside parks. In order to do so, the study surveyed and analyzed the user satisfaction of 374 men and women who use Ttuksum district located in Han River Citizen's Park. For this study, data were collected by self-administration method from 374 samples selected by the convenience sampling method. The results are as follows. 1) Users of Ttuksum district than male. The distribution of related accessibility, those residing within 5 kilometers the site it frequently. 2) Use it for walk, relaxation, or exercise. Are often accompanied by friends or family. Also, about the facility use by the purpose of use or characteristics of conpany, the grass square was utilized the most. 3) About user satisfaction with the park facilities in Ttuksum district, it was higher in the grass square(3.95), sport facilities(3.73), and music fountain(3.72) in order. Regarding the specialized park facilities, satisfaction was mostly low except for the music fountain. Also, about the satisfaction with the usability or view, accessibility(4.03) and night view(3.90) were. Based on the results of this study, it to proceed with positive verification processes in the follow-up research order to enhance reliability of those results.

The purpose of this study is to compare voice characteristics and voice-related quality of life (K-VRQOL) of the elderly female choir members using perceptual-auditory voice quality evaluation (GRBAS) and K-VRQOL scales. The participants were 77 women over 60 years old who were actively engaged in the choir in either Seoul or Busan. There are two kinds of choirs that indicate different engagement levels: regular choir and church choir. The perceptual-auditory vocal quality evaluation was listened to by / a / vowels and were graded by experts using the GRBAS scale. As a result, when comparing the differences between groups, the elderly female participants of the regular choir showed higher satisfaction in speech using the subjective speech recognition level than the elderly female members who performed in the church choir. In addition, the analysis showed that the satisfaction level was high in the physical function area of the K-VRQOL scale. This study confirmed that choral activities could yield positive results not only in terms of improving voice function in old age, but also to improve the subjective perception level of voice use, thus suggesting the necessity of systematic music programs to improve voices that are aging.
