The purpose of this study is to establish a purchasing cost reduction program for the management practical use. The research method of this study is a bibliographical search of the materials available in the library at Keimyung University and the writer's private study, and the case analysis. The body of this study is divided into three sections. The first section deals with the purchasing management systems in terms of the nature and characters of purchasing management and purchasing cost in total management system. The second section includes purchasing cost reduction program through value analysis technique and the third section covers summary and the following conclusions : 1) Top management should be aware of the important position of purchasing activities from the cost point of view, and they should be aware that a good purchasing cost reduction program could be established through value analysis technique. 2) For such a purchasing cost reduction program to be carried out. effectively the management should support and back up the program. 3) There should be a training program to educate and develop the personnel who can manage and operate the purchasing cost reduction program through valuean analysis technique. 4) And cooperative system should be established in management and operative organization system from the total management systems, view for the effective use of the program.
This study is focused that the electronic commerce(EC) on the purchasing section may improve the efficiency and transparency of the hospitals management. After reviewing the purchasing activity of hospitals, I study the introduction, expected effects, and problems of EC. So, I am going to provide basic information for activating EC. The samples are managers of 170 hospitals, which are located on Seoul. As a result of collection this survey, I analyze 79 hospitals. For data analysis, I use $X^2$-test and ANOVA for purchasing management and the relevance of EC according to the level of care. The results of this study are 1. The problems on the management of purchasing section are: firstly, they don't have sufficient time to study market. Secondly, it is difficult to find competitive suppliers. And, lastly, they cannot gather a lot of information about the price of products. 2. There are many answers of the needs on the introduction of B2B. However, some hospitals think they don't need it. But, the most answers are that the EC will be settled within 4 years. So, we can realize that these hospitals are getting interested on the EC. On the other hand, I find that they prefer outside EC companies for the introduction of EC. 3. On the expected effects on EC, first is the effectiveness of the market survey. The next is to collect information of adequate price of products owing to clear transaction, find easier new suppliers and gather useful data. 4. On the external problems of the introduction of EC, there is low credibility related to the security and the weakness of suppliers' information system. Especially, on the Real Transaction Price Payment system, the bigger bed size, the higher understanding on these problems. On the internal problems of the introduction of EC, first is the burden of the introduction of EC and operating cost. Especially, on the burden of the disclosure of revenue source, the smaller bed size, the higher understanding on this problem So, this is a point which deserves my attention statistically. However, this shows relatively little understanding about incomplete the standard of product category and the weak information system of hospital. Through this study, I am going to suggest 3 points for the activation of the introduction of EC on hospitals. 1. The reform of the Real Transaction Price Payment System on medical supplies and materials for medical treatment 2. The establishment of the standard of product category 3. The promotion of information system based on network.
This study is to survey the materials purchasing and inventory management status and the characteristics and opinions of the staff in charge of purchasing and inventory of the general hospitals in Busan area in order to contribute to the rationalization of its management through the grasp of actual situation and the presentation of desirable improvement plan for the materials purchasing and inventory management. The status of medical institute had been surveyed by the purchasing/ administration managers of total 26 general hospitals, and the purchasing/ management questionnaires had been commenced with 86 staff of the 26 hospitals. Its major survey results, after the analysis of 24 medical institute statuses (return rate of 92.30%) and 60 staff questionnaires (return rate of 69.76%), are as follows. First, post-purchasing evaluation system is not used actively, orders are being placed by phone or fax, and general merchandise is being purchased through free contracts in most of the hospitals participated in the survey. Second, as per the materials supplying methods, the requisition and delivery system is currently the most popular in the hospitals surveyed, however, both the requisition and delivery system and the par level transfer system are the most desired in the hospitals of more than 500 beds, and the par level transfer system is the most desired in the hospitals under 500 beds for the materials supplying system in the future. Third, as per the inventory management system that is desired the most in the future, the SPD and JIT types are preferred in the hospitals of more than 500 beds, the stockless strategy is preferred in the hospitals under 500 beds, the senior staff above section chief grade prefer the stockless strategy, and the junior staff prefer the ABC classification and SPD types. Fourth, The necessity of purchasing staff's training for the materials management is highly recognized but the effectiveness is not so much acknowledged, which is because such a training is thought to be so superficial and formal that it is not helpful much in the actual field. When summarizing the survey results as above, the materials purchasing and management system is differed for each group of hospitals according to the size of beds, and the more scientific management system is largely required by the general hospitals in Busan city. They also hope the introduction of joint purchasing system, materials management by the bar-code system, and positive execution of the market survey and training of the relevant staff for the management of purchasing affairs. So the more systematic purchasing and inventory management is regarded to be necessary through the introduction of scientific and specialized education of materials management, market survey, and post-purchasing evaluation system also through the computerization of materials purchasing and inventory management as soon as possible.
Research on the actual state of healthy Korean food menu items made from environmentally-friendly organic foods showed that 65.6% of subjects had experience of purchasing environmentally-friendly organic foods, and both genders chose 'expensive but reliable' as their prime reason for purchasing. Having no experience of purchasing environmentally-friendly foods constituted 34.5% of respondents, and the reasons were 'high price' and 'finding no difference from ordinary food'. Research on awareness of healthy Korean food menu items made from environmentally-friendly organic ingredients showed that both men and women thought the given menu items were 'fresh' but had little awareness of other factors such as 'good value for price', 'good visual style' and 'various recipes'. Regarding development prospective of environmentally-friendly organic foods, the number of subjects who answered positively was 405 (93%), which indicates that most research subjects showed positive attitudes. Top-selling menu items in the grain section were Sundubu-jjigae, Dubu-kimchi and Jeonju-bibimbap, and pajeon took first place in the vegetable selection. Moreover, Imjasu-tang showed high scores in the meat section. Furthermore, research on menu selection showed that menu selection was usually dependent on 'the price of menu (3.86)', 'fresh ingredients (4.03)', 'harmony of color (3.65)' and 'mood of the day (3.25)'. Research on menu selection revealed that 'quality of food' factors had the greatest influence upon preference and purchase intention for environmentally-friendly organic foods. Visual and psychological factors and values had significant an effect. Therefore, the food service industry should use this study as a source to develop menu items, by considering quality and visual factors. In addition, there should be various research performed on marketing strategies about menus from using environmentally-friendly organic foods and high value products.
In the metaverse, it is important to embellish aesthetics of user with a character called 'Avatar', a virtual representation of the user. This study provides basic data related to the fashion trend of the metaverse by studying 'Zepeto', a representative Korean platform. For empirical research, Zepeto's "Best Items" section were investigated and analyzed in the first pre-survey. Based on this, the second and main survey was conducted using a questionnaire to investigate users' style-specific preferences and purchasing behaviors for virtual fashion, comparing style preferences between virtual and real, brand preferences, and purchasing behaviors of virtual fashion. The survey found that most users were teenage girls with a high preference for pastel-toned, feminine, and cute casual styles who had a much higher interest in brands bearing idol names than in real-world luxury brands. Many responded that they felt burdened by purchasing items that had to be purchased for cash. The same can be assumed to be the reason why they preferred a suit of items that were fully coordinated rather than individual items. These results seem to reflect characteristics of teenage girls who lack cash with a high preference for idols and feminine-cute casual styles. This study suggests considerations when creating virtual fashion items. By providing basic information, more effects and developments in creating virtual fashion items that reflect consumer preferences and reactions are expected in the future.
This study aimed at finding the factors impacting customer satisfaction (CS) for conversion farm with $2^{nd}$ and $3^{rd}$ industry, because the most important thing in the conversion farm is enhancing customer satisfaction. The data on CS from 173 pumpkin farm's customers by on-line survey were gathered. The analysis using structural equation model with Amos was carried out. Product, service and purchasing were determined as 3 factors impacting to CS. The result showed that purchasing is the biggiest contributor to CS. It means the customers using on-ine market are very sensitive to farm's brand and logistics. It is also found that conversion with processing and farm experience activity is definitely affecting to building customer's trust. In conclusion, making efforts on enhancing CS in conversion farm is the key to success.

In electrical industry, classification methodology has been an important issue for analyzing power consumption patterns. It has many applications including decisions on energy purchasing, load switching as well as helping in infrastructure development. Our aim in this work is to classify the electrical section and find potentially non-safe electrical sections. For this purpose, we use Emerging Patterns based classification. The classification method uses the aggregate score of emerging patterns to build classifier. The proposed methodology was applied to a set of electrical section data of the Korea power. The test data and relational electricity information and knowledge are supported by Korea Electric Power Research Institute (KEPRI).
This study is intended to develop a fashion styling training program for female international marriage immigrants. To collect basic data for program development, a total of ten female international marriage immigrants living in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, were interviewed on relevant subjects, such as clothing life and their interest in fashion and fashion training programs. According to the interviews, they prefer Korean fashions, have difficulty purchasing and coordinating clothes while living in Korea, and felt that others were staring at them because of their appearance and fashion styles. For the question about interest in fashion, most respondents answered that they have great interest in fashion and managing their appearance. For the question about the need for a training program in fashion styling for female international marriage immigrants, most respondents answered that it is necessary, and most respondents also answered that they would participate in such a program if it were available. The contents of the training program for fashion styling for female international marriage immigrants was composed of the following sections: Understanding of Fashion Styling, Variety of Fashion Styling, and Fashion Styling Practice. The section on the understanding of fashion styling is composed of the concept of fashion styling and the elements of fashion styling. The section on variety in fashion styling is composed of styling based on fashion image, face type, body type, and TPO. The section on fashion styling practice is composed of the practice of fashion styling on an actual person based on the knowledge obtained through the program.
In order to mass-customize clothes, it is essential to take into account individual body shape using computerized 3D body models. This paper describes the development of an interactive body model that can be altered to match individual body perimeter, postures and depth for the purpose of computerized pattern making. Construction of the body model requires the extraction of necessary points, adjustment of coordinate points, linking of points by spline curves, control of section lengths and selectability of various hip types. Front to back depth of the model is adjusted by scaling ratio. We had a great result for controlling perimeter, posture and depth of body shapes. The results support the adaptability and potential usefulness of the posture and depth adjustable body model.
The purpose of this study was designed to investigate the purchasing considerations given and wearing fit according to suit styles in male consumers in their 30s by conducting questionnarie research with 410 persons. The research intended to give menswear manufacturers the scientific data to improve consumers' satisfaction when menswear brands produce jackets. The summary and conclusions in this study are as follows: First, male consumers have moderate interest in fashion and recognize the impact of fashion on their professional lives. Also, male consumers were aware that recent menswear fashion trends are being changed to slim-fit. Second, by examining the suit inventory and the purchasing consideration according to the suit styles, male consumers in their 30s had between 2 to 4 suits, both in slim-fit and classic-fit, respectively. When consumers purchase a suit, the most important consideration factors are size and wearing fit in both slim-fit and classic-fit. The reason to purchase a slim fit suit is that it seems slim due to its fitted silhouettes, while in a classic-fit suit, it is required because of job nature. Third, the result indicates the circumferences causing the most uncomfortable were the shoulder, chest, the back, and upper arm. Also, they mentioned the chest and the abdominal section including the shoulder as the most uncomfortable circumference to the question on what to be improved in jacket. Therefore, the research suggests that the menswear manufacturer should consider different consumers' desires which require different criteria based on the suit styles.
