  • Objectives : To determine the relationships among quality, satisfaction, value and purchase intention in health care service. Methods : The data were gathered from out-patients who had used hospital services. They were asked to assess service quality, satisfaction, service value, and purchase intention. A total of 557 usable questionnaires were gathered. The data were analyzed using SAS version 6.12. The analysis methods employed in the study were confirmatory analysis and covariance structural analysis. Results : Service quality exhibited a significant and positive relationship with satisfaction, service value, and purchase intention. Furthermore, satisfaction had a significant and positive relationship with purchase intention. And finally, service value had a significant and positive relationship with both satisfaction and purchase intention. Based on these findings, it is evident that satisfaction was a mediator between service quality and purchase intention. Also service value played a mediating role between service quality and satisfaction. Conclusions : These results suggest that service quality is an antecedent of satisfaction and sonics value, and exerts a stronger influence on purchase intentions than satisfaction and service value do. Thus, managers may need to emphasize service quality in health care.

  • Many prior studies have been conducted that positive reviews increase the intention to purchase. However, there are very few papers that have studied the impact of review search on purchase satisfaction. It is meaningful to study the impact of review search on purchase satisfaction as it can lead the business successfully by inducing repurchase. There is also no study of how review search have different effects on purchase satisfaction among countries. Given the growing number of cross-border e-commerce, we believe that the need for research is high because identifying these differences between countries can have a very important impact on a company's successful overseas expansion. Therefore, in this study, the impact of positive and negative review search on purchase satisfaction and the national impact were set up as a research model. In order to verify this research model, the survey was distributed to those who experienced online purchase in Korea and China, and a total of 234 copies were collected, including 125 copies in Korea, 109 copies in China, and the research model was verified using Smart-PLS structural equation analysis tools. First, positive review search has been shown to positively affect purchase satisfaction. Second, it has been shown that negative review search also has a positive effect on purchase satisfaction. Third, the impact of positive and negative review search on purchase satisfaction was different between Korea and China. While Korea is more aggressive in review search than China due to its high tendency to avoid uncertainty, China is less likely to avoid uncertainty than Korea and is more likely to rely on brand familiarity. Therefore, according to the uncertainty avoidance moderation effect the impact of positive and negative review search on purchase satisfaction was higher in Korea than in China. In this study, Shopping mall managers need to take strategic measures to maximize shopping mall performance by recognizing positive aspects of negative review search on purchase satisfaction. Companies and managers in Korea and China can establish strategies to promote product sales when companies enter the global market.

However, this has changed with the development of online fashion market, as it no longer requires physical space. The purpose of this study was to examine the satisfaction level of online shopping purchase based on the purchase motivation of women in their 20's. It aimed to look into how the online media affected the market, and find ways to improve the shopping malls according to the demands of the market. This study examined the effect of female students' online shopping motivation on their satisfaction with a premise that purchase motivation is related to the satisfaction level. The researched subjects were selected among female college students, and the regression analysis was done using the collected questionnaires. Results showed that economic purchase motivation, product purchase motivation, hedonic purchase motivation, and social purchase motivation had positive correlation to satisfaction level. The most influential factors to the satisfaction level were convenient purchase motivation and product purchase motivation, then social purchase motivation in shopping. Hedonic purchase and economic purchase were less influential than other factors in online shopping. Social purchase motivation factor is least influential when compared to others. As for detailed purchase motivations affecting the satisfaction level, reasonable price, latest fashion goods, interest and fun of online shopping, and the ease of shopping were important factors. The research result indicates that alternative shopping solutions can be better understood by examining the online shopping satisfaction according to purchase motivation, and improve current online shopping malls.

  • The current study addresses the issue of whether the extent of cooperation between purchase and production departments relied on the food-items management, purchase process and cook's own job satisfaction. A self-administered questionnaire comprised of 61 statements was presented to the anonymous cooks to assess their perception of inter-departmental cooperation. Also, we asked them to evaluate the performance of food-items management, satisfaction with purchase process, i.e. purchase process, food-items, food suppliers, and job satisfaction. Out of 367 responses, 342 (93.2%) were available for analysis. The demographic characteristics of the respondents are presented and six hypotheses were tested using SPSS 11.0 and AMOS 5.0. The structural equation analysis revealed that the departmental cooperation between purchase and production departments, the exogenous variable, was not directly related with the respondents' job satisfaction. However, it was indirectly related with the job satisfaction through the two endogenous variables: -satisfaction with purchase process and performance of food-items management.

  • With growing competition and increasing consumer demands, companies pay more attention than ever to market mavens who play a central role in diffusing marketplace information and influencing others' decisions. To enhance our understanding of the market maven, this paper examines the role of market mavenism in shaping consumers' shopping values (utilitarian value, hedonic value) and their post-purchase satisfaction or dissatisfaction. Regression analyses revealed that market mavenism had a positive impact on hedonic shopping values, and post-purchase satisfaction. The findings showed that hedonic shopping values had a significant impact on post-purchase satisfaction while utilitarian shopping value did not have any significant relationship. Findings of the study also suggest that market mavens pursue hedonic shopping values and exhibit greater post-purchase dissatisfaction than others. Practitioners are recommended to create entertaining retail environments for market mavens who seek hedonic values when they shop. The results also suggest that practitioners need to pay close attention to market mavens at the post-purchase stage since they can be extremely dissatisfied.
