인터넷을 통한 패션상품 구매행동의 탐색적 연구 (Consumers’Purchasing Process of Fashion Products on the Internet: A Qualitative Approach)

  • Although interest in the potential and actual usage of the Internet as a transaction medium is increasing, the market for fashion merchandise on the Internet in Korea has yet to take off. As the Internet environment is expected to bring about a transformation of conventional consumer buying behavior, the purpose of this exploratory research is to investigate the buying behavior of fashion products on the Internet to identify relevant concepts and generate hypotheses for further empirical research. The research methods selected for the study were observation and in-depth interview. Twelve subjects who had purchased fashion products on the Internet were selected and interviewed. Those who could not participate in face-to-face in-depth interviews because of the geographic locations were interviewed on-line. The results are as follows: First, subjects went through the stages of shopping motivation stage, site choice behavior stage, in-site behavior stage, and postpurchase behavior stage. Second, a model was extracted for each shopping stage, and a final model was completed based on comparisons with the participants processes. The information content of each phase was discussed. Finally, each participant was classified using their purchasing process, revealing six possible mixed usage patterns of the Internet marketing system and the traditional marketing system.

중국 조선족 여대생의 의복태도에 따른 의복구매동기 (Clothing Purchase Motivation by Clothing Attitudes for Korean-Chinese College Female Students)

  • 본 연구는 연변 지역 조선족 여자 대학생을 대상으로 의복태도에 따른 의복구매동기를 조사함으로써 소비자의 심리적 특성을 밝히는데 그 목적이 있다. 2002년 5월에서 6월 사이에 300부의 설문지가 중국 연변 지역의 여자 대학생에게 배부되어 248부의 설문지가 최종적으로 분석에 사용되었다. 설문지는 5점 척도를 사용하였고, 통계처리는 SAS PC 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도, 요인분석, t-test를 하였다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 여자 대학생의 의복태도는 유행성, 유명상표지향성, 심미성, 정숙성의 네 요인으로 분류되었다. 각 요인 별로 요인의 평균값이 높은 집단과 낮은 집단으로 분류하여 의복태도에 따른 의복구매동기를 조사한 결과, 유행성${\cdot}$유명상표지향성${\cdot}$심미성${\cdot}$정숙성 네 요인 모두 각 요인 별로 평균값이 높은 집단과 낮은 두 집단 간에 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 유행성요인에 높은 평균점수를 갖는 집단은 낮은 집단에 비해 멋진 외모나 새로운 유행을 추구하기 위해 의복을 구입하는 동기가 높았고, 미적요인에 높은 평균점수를 갖는 집단은 낮은 집단에 비해 실용적 이유보다는 사회적 모임이나 기분의 변화를 위하여 의복의 구매동기를 가졌다. 이러한 결과를 통하여 의복태도는 중국조선족소비자의 경우에도 의복구매행동을 예측하는 좋은 변수가 될 수 있으며 시장세분화를 위한 유용한 기준이 될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

The Effect of Advertisement Vividness and Regulatory Focus on Consumer Choice

  • Purpose - This study aims to explore how a combination of the advertisement presentation vividness and consumers' regulatory focus affects choice. In addition, it seeks to the understanding for the psychological process by using consumers' response with experimental designs. Research design, data, and methodology - This research conducted two experiments based on the scenario. Specifically, Experiment 1 used a 2 (vividness of advertisement presentation: picture vs. word) × 2 (regulatory focus: prevention focus vs. promotion focus) between-subjects design. Experiment 2 used a 2 (vividness of advertisement presentation: detailed description vs. less detailed description) × 2 (regulatory focus: prevention focus vs. promotion focus) between-subjects design. Results - Two studies showed that prevention-focused individuals, when presented with a vivid presentation, were more likely to choose the advertised option compared with advertisements presented less vividly appearance. In contrast, promotion-focused individuals showed no difference in choice shares regardless of advertisement presentation vividness. In addition, these effects were mediated by the imagery toward the advertised information. Conclusions - The current research found how consumers' inherent motivation affects the extent of imagery in a purchase decision and a new perspective to previous studies with regards to regulatory focus. Further, this research suggested new advertisement strategies to corporations.

대전지역 소비자들의 막걸리에 대한 인식과 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study of Consumers' Perceptions and Satisfaction of Makgeolli in Daejeon)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore consumers' perceptions and satisfaction of Makgeolli in Daejeon. The study examined the perceptions of consumers of a number of Makgeolli characteristics. A total of 199 respondents provided information regarding their perceptions of Makgeolli. Exploratory factor analysis showed that six factors of consumers' perceptions toward Makgeolli were: delight, harmony with food, atmosphere, health /tradition-related, self-fulfillment, and emotion. Examining the effect of each factor on Makgeolli satisfaction showed that delight had a negative relationship with satisfaction while harmony with food and health/tradition-related showed positive relationships. Atmosphere, self-fulfillment, and emotion did not impact satisfaction. Comparisons of the eleven attributes using t-test between Makgeolli and alcoholic beverages showed significant differences in six attributes: creating a special dining ambience(p<0.001), socializing(p<0.001), enhancing the taste of food(p<0.001), satisfying thirst(p<0.01), esthetic(p<0.01), and stylish(p<0.001). Most of the places where Makgeolli was consumed were traditional bars(53.4%) and Korean restaurants(29.1%). In order to make Makeolli as a global beverage further studies regarding Makgeolli purchasing motivation, satisfaction, consumer characteristics should be studied.

  • Online exchange is a cost-effective approach to trade goods and information among multiple sellers and buyers. Shipping industry includes lots of global entities such as shippers, liners, ship owners and shipping agents. Marine insurance companies and ship repairers and many other groups are also supporting the industry. However, international shipping exchanges are located on few cities in the world. Its our motivation that a shipping market can be online so that market participants do the dealing while sitting where they are with more efficient manner, preferable price and larger pool of candidates of trading partners. This paper presents Korean governmental project of building a cyber shipping exchange. The exchange covers ship sale and purchase, charter, insurance, freight futures, repairs, supplying of ships oil and database service. The workflows of each business were analyzed and designed to fit for online environment. The project includes design of trading mechanism, online documents, data flow, data storage and security. Online match making and trading mechanisms such as auction, reverse auction, bid are used. The whole trading process involves multiple organizations and business processes. So, this Paper focuses on how each organization would play their roles so that users can complete transactions with integrated and transparent view. The online exchange selves also as maritime portal site that links to other sites for cooperation vertically or horizontally, and serves database and information in global perspective. This paper also issues and discusses the justification of an online shipping exchange

MMORPG의 자아-캐릭터 동일시와 관계 내재화가 마케팅 성과에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Marketing Performance of Self-character Identification and Relation Internalization in MMOPRPGs)

  • MMORPG 게임은 COVID-19 사태를 통하여 더욱 빠르게 성장하고 있는 산업이다. 이에 본 연구는 MMORPG 게임의 자아-캐릭터 동일시와 사회적 관계의 내재화에 미치는 영향 요인을 확인하고, 이를 통하여 게임 아이템 유료 구매와 게임 지속의도의 마케팅 성과에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 자아동일시와 내재화는 게임 몰입에 영향을 미치는 핵심 요인으로 알려져 있다. PLS 분석 결과에 따르면, MMORPG의 캐릭터 특성과 사회적 특성이 자아-캐릭터 동일시와 관계 내재화에 미치는 영향은 유의하게 확인되었다. 또한 이들 변수들을 매개로 게임 기업의 마케팅 성과에 미치는 긍정적인 영향을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 MMORPG 캐릭터 연구의 중요성을 제시하였으며, MMORPG 게임 기업의 경쟁력 향상에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

3D프린터 활성화를 위한 방안 -피규어 제작을 중심으로- (Plans for 3D printers Diffusion -Focusing on production figures-)

  • 3D 프린터의 특허권이 만료됨에 따라 3D프린터 시장의 활성화와 미래 산업에 대한 밝은 전망 등을 다룬 언론의 기사들이 등장하고 있다. 3D 프린터가 일반 프린터처럼 대중화 되기 위해서는 무엇이 필요할까? 그 해답은 알기 위하여 일반인들을 대상으로 3D프린터의 활성화에 대한 온라인 설문을 실시하였다. 그 결과 일반인들은 3D프린터를 이용한 활용에 있어서 창작 출력물과 피규어를 선호하고 있으며, 출력데이터인 디지털 설계도를 직접 제작보다는 유료/무료 다운로드를 이용한 활용을 더 많이 원하는 것으로 나타났다. 일반인들의 3D프린터의 대중화와 활성화를 위하여 피규어는 영상미디어 콘텐츠들을 자주 접하는 일반인들에게 친숙한 대상이며, 더 나아가 3D프린터를 활용하고 싶다는 욕구를 갖게 하고 프린터를 구매하는 동기부여 요소를 지니고 있다고 사료된다. 피규어 콘텐츠의 디지털 설계도 보급을 위해 관련 규제와 법을 마련하고, 판매의 장인 온라인 마켓을 활성화한다면 3D 프린터의 활성화에 많은 도움이 될 것으로 사료되어진다.

시각정보 메타데이터를 이용한 축산 심벌 표현에 대한 연구 (A Study on Livestock Symbol Representation Using Visual Information Metadata)

  • 최근 소비자의 취향이 다양해지고 소비패턴이 변화하며 상품 포장디자인이 점차 발전한다는 것을 체감할 수 있다. 상품 포장디자인은 내용물을 정확하게 알 수 있게 만들어져야 하고 소비자의 눈길을 끌어 상품을 구매하고 싶도록 만드는 매력을 가지고 있어야 한다. 또한 상품디자인은 소비자들에게 시각적 효과를 유도한 그래픽 요소와 더불어 브랜드 네이밍, 패키지 레이아웃, 내용물 표현방법, 맛을 상상할 수 있는 색감 등에 따라 구매의욕을 일으켜야 한다. 상품의 포장디자인에서 내용물에 대한 이미지를 한 눈에 알 수 있게 표현한 그래픽 요소는 상품의 부가가치를 높이고 소비자의 구매동기 유발이나 유통의 합리화를 이루는 가장 핵심적인 요소라 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 축산상품에서 시각정보 메타데이터를 이용한 시각정보 심벌 이미지에 대한 연구이며 다양한 축산 포장에 대한 사례를 살펴보고 메타데이터 요소로 축산 이미지를 한 눈에 알 수 있게 표현한 그래픽 요소를 제시하여 축산상품에 활용하고자 한다. 축산 상품의 프리미엄화를 추구하고, 브랜드 가치를 높이며 차별화된 디자인 전략으로 경제적 효과와 더불어 축산 시장 활성화를 위한 가능성을 제시하고자 한다.

슬로우 패션의 소비욕망 (The Consumption Desire for Slow Fashion)

  • This study investigated slow fashion consumers from a human desire viewpoint in order to examine the psychological aspects of slow fashion consumption. First, the concept of slow fashion was defined. Second, this study reviewed the concepts of desire found in Oriental philosophies and applied them to slow fashion consumption. This process identified the fundamental desire that motivates consumers of slow fashion. Lastly, the psychological aspects slow fashion consumers were examined through a comparison of fundamental desire and external reasons given by interviewees in regards to personal motivation to purchase slow fashion products. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 10 unmarried women 25 to 37 years old with experience in buying slow fashion products. Exploratory data were classified into external reasons and fundamental reasons to derive the concept of slow fashion. First, slow fashion is defined as sustainable fashion that considers humans and nature. It also seeks to produce morally good products that transcend time and space. Second, we identified the following external reasons: social responsibility, pursuit of healthy products, and pursuit of beauty. Finally, we extracted four factors that reflected fundamental desire: Recognition Desire, Ostentation Desire, Sexual Appeal Desire, and Power Desire. Altruism was emphasized by respondents who expressed social responsibility among external reasons and the desire for recognition among fundamental reasons. However, this goodwill also originated from human desire due to the emotional healing they receive from helping others. Interviewees sought psychological benefits such as self-satisfaction and spiritual growth through slow fashion that implied an Association of slow fashion consumption with human desire. Slow fashion consumption was influenced by moral convictions as well as various desires; in addition, external reasons for slow fashion consumption could be explained by desire.

경남지역 일부 갱년기.폐경기 여성의 식사와 건강보조식품에 관한 신념 - 포커스그룹 심층면접 연구 - (Climacteric and Menopausal Women's Beliefs on Daily Meals and Food Supplements - A Focus Group Interview Study -)

  • The aim of the study was to explore the current status as well as personal views, attitudes, and beliefs regarding daily meal consumption (DM) and food supplement use (FS) in conjunction with the improvement of health condition of the women. Eight focus group interviews were performed and the interview material was condensed systematically with the aim to extract core meanings related to DM, FS, and menopause-associated health. Participants were 40 in number and showed ages ranging from 45 and 60 years with various menopausal status. Current status and beliefs about DM, resources of purchase motivation of FS, types of FS that are currently used, and perceived effects and personal beliefs about FS are discussed. Theme content analysis revealed 3 themes for beliefs about DM, 5 themes for beliefs pertaining FS, and 4 themes for the association between DM and FS. Non-dietary factors such as positive mental attitude and exercise appeared to be also important to maintain good health. The bottom line message from this study may be that proper nutrition through daily meals is essential for good health, while food supplement are used merely to supplement the diet. Findings from this study may deepen our understanding of how women who translate their lifespan through "menopause" perceive the roles and meaning of DM and FS, suggesting health professionals need to monitor and evaluate DM and implement strategies targeting the improvement of daily meal quality of middle and older aged women.
