  • 최근에 Serverless 컴퓨팅은 많은 관심을 받는 기술로, 서버 프로비저닝 없이 코드를 배포하고 실행할 수 있으며 요청량에 따라 동적으로 컴퓨팅 리소스를 확장하여 애플리케이션을 안정적으로 운영할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다. Serverless 컴퓨팅의 주요 이슈 중 하나인 cold start 는 함수를 실행하기 위한 컨테이너 초기화 및 구동하는 단계이며, 해당 과정에서는 이미지 풀링이 수행될 수 있다. 이미지 풀링은 cold start 지연의 대부분을 차지하고 함수의 응답시간을 증가 시켜서 사용자 경험에 부정적인 영향을 줄 수 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 cold start 지연을 줄이기 위해 도커를 활용해서 이미지 레이어 동시 풀링 개수를 조절함으로써 이미지 풀링 속도를 개선시킬 수 있는지 분석하였다. 이와 같은 분석을 통해 풀링 개수가 풀링 속도에 영향을 줄 수 있음을 확인하였다.

The influence of temperature gradient and rotation rate on Bi4Ge3O12 crystal growth by czochralski method (쵸크랄스키법에 의한 $Bi_4Ge_3O_{12}$ 단결정 육성에서 온도구배와 회전속도가 미치는 영향)

  • In order to grow $Bi_4Ge_3O_{12}$ crystals by the Czochralski method equipped with the auto-diameter control system, we used the resistance heater of our own design. We measure the temperature gradients under-arious thermal configurations. The relation between the critical rotation rate corresponding to the flat interface and the temperature gadient was investigated, and the importance of the axial temperature gradient was pointed out. The results from this work were compared with those obtained by other authors when RF heating was used. The optimal conditions for the crystal growth were determined as follows; under $O_2$ atmosphere with the pulling rate fixed at 2 mm/hr, rotation rate changed from 30 to 23 rpm as the crystal growth proceeded, radial and axial temperature gradients were 50 and $40^{\circ}C$/cm near melts respectively, and the composition was chemically stoichiometric.

  • Recent progress of electric technology requires new piezoelectric crystals having superior properties such as zero temperature coefficients and large electromechanical coupling factors. We have developed a series of new leading chandidates, La$_3$Ga5SiO14(langasite, LGS), La3Nb0.5Ga5.5O14(LNG), La3Ta0.5O14(LTG), to satisfy those requirements. High quality LGS, LNG and LTG single crystals, with dimensions of 2 inches in diameter, were successfully grown by the Czochralski method at a pulling rate of 1mm/h. Since no variation of chemical composition was observed when whole melt in a crucible was crystallized, congruency of these compositions was confirmed. Physical constants such as elastic constants, dielectric constants and piezoelectric constants were measured. Filters and oscillators made of grown LGS, LNG and LTG single crystals showed superior properties such as three times wider passband than that of quartz, low insertion loss and easy processing, Langasite family crystals were shown to be superior materials to other known materials such as quartz, LiTaO$_3$, $\alpha$-AlPO$_4$ and Li$_2$B$_4$O7.

Growth of Single Crystal $\beta$-BaB2O4 by the Direct Czochralski Method (Czochralski방법에 의한 $\beta$-BaB2O4단결정 성장)

  • $\beta$-BaB2O4는 고출력 가시광선 및 적외선을 발진시키는데 유용한, 비선형 특성을 가진 물질이다. $\alpha$-$\beta$ 상전이 온도가 녹는점보다 18$0^{\circ}C$ 낮기 때문에 보통 flux법으로 단결정을 성장시킨다. 수년전 Itoh등은 $\beta$-BaB2O4단결정을 congruent조성의 용액으로부터 Czochralski법으로 metastable한 상태에서 직접 성장시켰다. 그렇지만 그 공정은 잘 이해되지 않고 있으며 재현하기가 매우 어렵다. 저자들은 $\beta$-BaB2O4단결정을 용액표면온도도 1034$^{\circ}$-1085$^{\circ}C$, pulling rate 3mm/h, 10-30 rpm의 범위에서 성장시켰으며 융액표면의 온도구배는 $\beta$-상으로 성장시키는데 매우 중요한 인자로 여겨진다. Seed로는 직경 1-2mm의 c축방향 $\beta$-BaB2O4단결정 봉이 상용되어 성장방향을 조절하고 열응력을 최소화시켰다. 성장된 $\beta$-상의 단결정들은 6-fold모양을 하며 표면에 작은 비늘같은 것들이 붙어있고 중심부에 core가 있는 것을 알았다. Flux법으로 성장시킨 $\beta$-BaB2O4단결정을 사용한 seeds는 단결정 성장 및 냉각 중에 cracks이 자주 발생하였으며, boule의 cracks은 afterheater를 사용할 경우 다소 줄일 수 있었다. 성장된 단결정의 광학특성이 측정되었다.

Interdisciplinary Literaure Analysis between Cosmetic Container Design and Customer Purchasing Intention

  • Purpose: The cosmetic industry is one of the significant sectors of the economy that has attracted a wide range of players due to the fast growth rate. The purpose of this research is to identify the effect of container design in influencing consumer purchase intention, pulling together collected textual data regarding two factors. No other research conduct to measure this relationship. Research design, data and methodology: Using web data searching tools, the present researcher coded the data obtained. The web content analysis platform is useful because it allows a researcher to examine themes in texts and, in a way, allows an ideal way to understand links within categories of data. Results: Different components of container design have different impacts on the purchase behavior of different consumers. The most crucial container design components include; shape, color, material and textual, and artistic features. These components are used by designers for different purposes and have different levels of appeal to the consumer. Conclusions: Manufacturers in the cosmetic industry must invest in designing packaging products that are more appealing in shape and color while using high-quality materials to packaging these products. The packaging containers should also be designed to incorporate textual and artistic features that provide more information regarding the products.

Development of the Pushing Type Cutting Device to Dismantle Concrete Structure for Decommissioning of Nuclear Power Plant (원전해체 시 콘크리트 구조물 절단을 위한 밀기형 절단장치 개발)

  • Pulling-type cutting devices, which use a diamond wire saw, have been used generally for cutting concrete structures. In this study, a pushing-type cutting device with a collection cover was developed by overcoming the disadvantages of pulling-type devices. In this device, dry or liquid methods can be selected to cool frictional heat. Operation and leakage tests of the dust generated during the dismantling of a concrete structure were carried out, confirming the suitable operation of the fabricated cutting device; the leakage rate was approximately 1.7%. For a conservative evaluation, the internal dose of workers was estimated in dismantling the core center part of biological shield concrete with a specific activity of 99.5 Bq·g-1. The committed effective dose per worker was 0.25 mSv. The developed cutting device contributed to reducing radioactive concrete waste and minimizing worker exposure due to its easy installation. Therefore, it can be utilized as a cutting apparatus for dismantling not only reinforced concrete structures but also radioactive biological shield concrete in nuclear power plant decommissioning efforts.

Growth of $30BaTiO_3$.$70NaNbO_3$ Solid Solution Single Crystal ($30BaTiO_3$.$70NaNbO_3$ 고용체 단결정 육성)

  • In $BaTiO_3-NaNbO_3$ system, complete series of solid solution occurs and $30BaTiO_3{cdot}70NaNbO_3$ composition is congruently melted. Single crystals of $30BaTiO_3{cdot}70NaNbO_3$, composition were grown by Czochralski method in this investigation. Single crystals with dimensions of 15 - 20mm diameter and 20 - 30mm length, were grown at the pulling rate of 2.0mm/h and the rotation rate of 5.0 -l0rpm. Core structures were found in the grown crystals and inclusions, cellular boundaries existed at the core region. The origin of core occuring was unstability of the crystal- melt interface due to the poor conductivity of latent heat through the crystal during the crystal growing process. Obtained crystals were optically homogeneous except the core region and showed high optical transmittance in the visible range.

Core region and optical properties of Er3+ doped Y3Al5O12 single crystals (Er3+ doped Y3Al5O12 단결정의 core 영역 및 광학적 특성)

  • $Er^{3+}$ doped $Y_3Al_5O_{12}$ (Er:YAG) single crystals, in which the concentrations of $Er^{3+}$ ion were 5, 7.3, 8, and 10 at.%, were grown by the Czochralski method under nitrogen atmosphere. The <111> oriented Er:YAG single crystals with diameters of up to 50 mm were grown at a pulling rate of 1.0 mm/h and rotation rate of 10 rpm. The thick part of the core region was generated mainly when there was a diameter change during the crystal growth. The concentrations of $Er^{3+}$ ion in the crystals were the same as it was in the melt. $Er^{3+}$ concentration of core region was slightly higher than the other regions in the compositional analysis. The fluorescence lifetime was saturated according to the increase of $Er^{3+}$ doping concentrations.

  • Yb:$YCa_4O(BO_3)_3$ (Yb:YCOB) single crystal, in which the concentration of $Yb^{3+}$ ion 20 at%, was grown by the Czocharalski method using an iridium crucible under N2 atmosphere. The optimum growth parameters to get a high quality of single crystals were found to be 1.5∼2 mm/h of pulling rate and 10∼20 rpm of rotation rate. According to the results of spectroscopic properties, absorption edge of Yb:YCOB was 236 nm. Two strong absorption line due to $Yb^{3+}$ ions were observed at 900 and 975 nm. Thermal expansion coefficients of Yb:YCOB crystal along a, b and c crystallographic axes from 320 to 650 K were 12.1${\times}10^{-6}$/K, 5.9${\times}10^{-6}$/K, 12.9${\times}10^{-6}$/K, respectively. Specific heat was 0.162 $cal/g{\cdot}K$ at 330 K.

A Survey on Low Back Pain of General Hospital Nurses (종합병원 간호사의 요통발생 실태와 관련요인)

  • The purpose of the survey was to find out the prevalence rate and related factors for low back pain of nurses and to develop educational program for prevention of the low back pain. The subjects of the survey were 593 nurses of general hospitals in Tae-gu City. The survey was conducted from June 10, 1994 to October 3, 1994. The questionnaire included 34 question items concerning general characteristics, factors related to low back pain, physical nursing activities, and characteristics of low back pain. The results were as follows : 1. Among 593 of subjects, the prevalence rate of low back pain showed 62.1%. 2. In relation of health related life activities and low back pain prevalence, self-reported health state was highly significant(P=.000). 3. In relation of work environmental factors and low back pain prevalence, job satisfaction (P=.026), job stress(P=.020), and workload(P=.002) were significant. 4. In relation of physical nursing activities and low back pain prevalence, bending (P=.000), trunk twisting(P=.003), stretching(P=.006), and pulling and pushing(P=.046) were significant. 5. Physical nursing activities inducing back stress was varicant according to wards. The results of this study pointed out that the subjects' low back pain prevalence was related to the work-related physiologic and psychologic factors. Therefore, for the effective prevention of low back pain, both practicing the body mechanics and raising the morale of the nurses are needed in educational program.
