The relocation policy of public Institutions throughout provincial areas that implemented for the purpose of "balanced national development" finished in 2019 with the last relocation of the Korea Institute of Science & Technology Evaluation and Planning, which moved to Chungbuk Innovation City. Electric power public corporations also completed relocation program over eight regions across the nation. This study was conducted empirically to identify the structural relationship between the public service motivation and job attitude. In this, the relationship of organizational change, particularly occurred by the regional relocation, with the psychological state of these organization members (experienced direct changes and got substantial impacts in various aspects such as psychological, economic and living environment, etc.,) was studied. This study aims to seek early organizational stabilization ideas for electric power public corporations after relocation, and to present some implications that can contribute to the secondary relocation of public institutions to local areas. This study shows the statistically significant relationship between the psychological state occurred by relocation and organizational commitment. The result shows that the higher the expectation levels, the higher the degree of organizational commitment, while anxious psychological state has no relation with that. Additionally, expectation level has no significant functional relation with turnover intention. Followings are the major conclusions revealed in this study; The stronger the anxious psychological state, the higher the turnover inducement goes up. The higher the expectation levels, the higher the public service motivation grows, and the higher the anxiety psychological state, the public service motivation lowers. The organizational commitment grows according to the public service motivation proportionally, but the turnover inducement intention is weak. The moderating effect of public service motivation between the expectation of organizational change and turnover intention was not significant, but it was analyzed that the moderating effect of public service motivation formed a significant relationship with other anxiety psychology. The expectation levels of employees of electric power public corporations has grown up after moving to provincial areas. Relationship between the expectation mind and the turnover inducement has decreased after local relocation.

Among various service characteristics, the physical environment is one of important contributors to service quality. In public service buildings, public community facilities serve as arena for education, social interaction, leisure, health activities for community districts. The purpose of this study is to investigate the physical state of public community facilities and expectations of users toward physical environment and service aspects. Site visits to four public community facilities and survey method were conducted for this study. One hundred ninety two questionnaires were analyzed. It is found that the majority of users are housewives and live near the community facilities. In order to provide more equal benefits and service to the public, it is suggested that smaller facilities should be provided in several sites instead of providing a large complex community facility to one area. Facility users indicated larger gaps between expectation and current state of the facilities regarding lack of storage, noise and ease to use. In general, physical characteristics should be more improved than employee's attitude and service behavior, which result in service quality.
This study investigates the differences in the recognition of the brand factors of the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM) between the internal and external public. This study considers KIGAM's brand strategy among the various institutions contributing to the country's development. Through the analysis, this study provides strategic implications about science-related institutions as well as KIGAM. According to the results of the brand factors in various dimensions, differences in the recognition between the internal and external public were found to be evident. The results reveal that the internal public shows more positive attitude than the external public on the variables that affect KIGAM's branding strategies.
This study was designed to find out a degree of social stigman on people with mental disorder. Many comparisons were made. The first was a comparison with the stigma on the physically disabled. And the differences between general public, the mentally ill, their families, and professionals were explored. Among general public attitudes, the sociodemographic and regional differences were also explored. The subject was 600 people, including 300 general public, 100 mentally ill, 100 families, 100 professionals. They were evenly distributed to 3 regions - big city, urban area, and rural area. The data were collected by a survey questionnaire consisting of the Attitude toward People with Mental Illness Scale, and the Attitude toward People with Physical Disabilities Scale. The analysis showed that the public attitude toward the mentally ill was quite acceptable. Social stigma was low in areas like accepting his/her human right. But the public also showed low acceptance on areas in allowing social functioning roles, and social integration. High stigma on the hospitalized mentally ill was expressed to those hospitalized patients regarding divorce against their will. However, volunteer experiences with this population seemed influential in high acceptance and low stigma. In comparison with the stigma on people with physical disabilities, the results showed. different levels in different areas. In regional comparison, the results showed that big city is the lowest among three. And the results of urban and rural area revealed different levels in different areas. In regard to self-stigma, while the subjects expressed low in general, they revealed high on areas like relating with others. Based on the findings, the study would conclude that mental health policy should be community-based, social integration oriented policy instead of in-patient oriented policy. Moreover, the professionals should intervene on the elements affecting both negative and positive attitudes.
Purpose: The purpose of study was to describe knowledge and attitude to Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) in preschool teachers in Korea. Methods: Survey methodology using a self administered questionnaire was employed as the research design. Knowledge and attitude were measured with a questionnaire modified from Jerome, Gordon, and Hustler (1994) and Ghanizadeh, Bahredar, and Moeini (2006). Of 223 questionnaires mailed out to 42 daycare centers in one district in Seoul, 164 questionnaires (73.5%) were used for data analysis. Data analysis was done using SPSS.WIN 15.0. Results: The mean score on knowledge for the teachers was 11.27 (59.3%) out of maximum score of 19. For question items, the percentage of correct answers related to etiology of ADHD was under 10% and the correct rate regarding treatment of ADHD was over 90%. Preschool teachers had a mean score on attitude of 20.77 out of 33. Less than 50% of the teachers reported positive attitudes toward the child with ADHD and over 90% agreed that the child with ADHD needs a special environment and specially trained teachers. Age (r=.236, p=.002) and marital status (t=-3.661, p=.000) were significantly related to attitude toward the child with ADHD. Knowledge and attitude had a significant positive correlation (r=.245, p=.001). Conclusion: These results suggest that educational programs and strategies should be developed to increase knowledge of preschool teachers on ADHD. Public health nurses also need to develop and implement education programs for teachers at daycare centers and others involved in child care in the community.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of adolescent's scoliosis on the stress level and study-attitude, to inform the public that there exist an important correlation between adolescent's scoliosis and stress, as well as, study-attitude, using a questionnaire. Methods: For this study, questionnaires were distributed to elementary school in G city from May 10 through May 31, 2011. This study measured a primary scoliosis-test by a scoliometer with 300 elementary school students and a secondary test by Cobb's angle using an X-ray. The subjects were divided into 2 groups (normal group (n=20), scoliosis group (n=20)). The collected data were analyzed by a t-test and Pearson analysis. Results: As a result of this study, the Cobb's angle showed significant difference between the scoliosis group and the normal group (p<0.001). Also, it tended to have a greater stress level in the scoliosis group than the relationship between scoliosis and the stress or study-attitude compared to the normal group (p<0.05). The correlation of stress according to Cobb's angle showed a positive relationship (r=0.36), and the correlation of study-attitude to Cobb's angle showed a negative relationship (r=-0.04). Conclusion: In conclusion, this study showed that scoliosis affects stress and study-attitude. We hope that this result would help diagnose adolescent's scoliosis in anearly stage and prevent any phychologic and social problems relating to it.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of police officers' participatory decision-making, supervisory quality and attitude, organizational justice on job satisfaction focused on mediating effect of work-life conflict. As a result of analysis of 185 police officers, the results were as follows. The causal relationships between participatory decision-making, organizational justice and work-life conflict, the ones between supervisory qualities and attitude, organizational justice, work-life conflict and job satisfaction, all of them reached the significance levels, not the causal relationship between supervisory qualityand attitude work-life conflict. Thus, the results for the interaction have shown, participatory decision-making and organizational justice and work-life conflict have negative influences on work-life conflict respectively, and supervisory qualities and attitude conflict, organizational justice conflict, work-life conflict have effect on job satisfaction with positive and negative effect. The Sobel-test showed that the Sobel-test statistic of the mediating effect of work-life conflict on causal relationships between organizational justice and job satisfaction is significant, but not in the mediating effect of work-life conflict on causal relationships between supervisory qualities and attitude and job satisfaction. According to the analytical results, work-life conflict is an important factor that can improve police officers' job satisfaction in the public organizational context with an open-oriented- system and culture for employees' participation in the process of decision making and equality and fairness for organizational management. It is also noted that work-life harmony for employees may be incompatible with the supervisor's perception of the work-oriented or prioritized-way in hierarchical organizations like police agencies.
This study confirmed the effect of attitude factors on advertisement effect for the purpose of producing effective webtoon advertisement and suggesting media execution strategy. Data were collected using the experimental method. The research results are as follows. First, it was found that only the attitude of advertisement had a significant effect on the advertisement attention when the form of the webtoon advertisement was general format type ad. Second, when the form of webtoon advertisement was general format type ad, advertisement attitude and product attitude had a significant effect on advertisement click intention. Third, when the placement of the webtoon advertisement was inserted in the middle of the webtoon, the advertisement attitude had a significant effect on the advertisement attention. Fourth, when the product of the webtoon advertisement was an experience product, it was advertisement attitude that had a significant effect on advertisement attention. This study is valuable in that it proposed a strategy for producing webtoon advertisements and executing media through experimental research.
The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affected on the leisure participation, leisure satisfaction and leisure erect of the middle-aged and the aged who were participated in the leisure programs of the public community facilities. The sample in this study consisted of 351 middle-aged and aged living in Seoul and Daegu. frequencies, means and multiple regressions were employed for the analysis. The resets of this study were as follows: The factors affected on the leisure participation were age, number of the family, residence, and tuition fee. The factors had erects on the leisure satisfaction were sex, pocket money, residence, and the access of the transportation. And, the factors affected on the leisure effect were educational attaintment, total household income, number of the family, leisure attitude, and the access of transportation. The findings suggest that the advertisement will be needed for more use of the leisure programs in the public community facilities. And the Public transportation service will help middle-aged and aged access the facilities and participate the leisure programs.
Objectives : The aim of this study was to investigate factors associated with turnover intention on public health dental hygienists. Methods : A total 235 public health dental hygienist completed a questionnaire on attitudes related to their job position and sociodemographic status. Results : In total 82.5% of the respondents have experienced a job transfer. Their children and job stress strongly affect turnover intention. Turnover intention was correlated with empowerment, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, burnout and job stress. Using multiple regression analysis, the effects of job stress, children, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, career were satistically significant. Conclusions : The study showed strong relationship between turnover intention and job stress and their children. They had positive attitude for their job position and satisfied with their job. They experienced the stress on their job but had little turnover intention.
