The purpose of this study is to investigate the state projects related to psychological sentiment for child and youth in Korea, examine the current status of art treatment-related projects for child and youth, and seek ways to improve them, focusing on projects supported by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The results examined through this study were firstly, mental health promotion projects conducted in the public sector in Korea are mainly carried out on consignment to affiliated organizations, and are promoted not only for diagnosis, mediation, and therapeutic intervention but also for care and prevention. Second, psychological and emotional support projects are being attempted with various approaches such as reading, playing, gardening, and art, and art therapy is actively used as a part of art programs. In addition, it is suggested that the government should provide efficient welfare and utilize it as a common goal through linkage and cooperation with other ministries for the continuous and stable implementation of state-led psychological support projects. In addition, it is hoped that this research will be used as a research material to explore specific strategies for effectiveness of national policy projects on the overall psychological sentiment of child and youth.

In this paper, we design a small low power single channel ECG(Electrocardiogram) system of Chest Belt type with fiber-type electrodes to measure emotional state change of game addict. HRV(Heart Rate Variability) is analyzed through heart rate signal measurement and the psychological stress state is judged by using it. And it verifies its effectiveness through prototype. First, we design HR measurement module through low power MCU(Micro Controller Unit) and implement prototype level measurement system. The results showed that the difference between the addiction group and the general group was confirmed and that the system was effective. The result of this study can be used for health management such as reduction of stress of the user through music and breathing that lowers the stress by detecting the stress state of the general person or the chronic ill person.
Objectives: The purpose of this research was to analyze the responses of breath-counting meditations with the psychological test and the physical index. Methods: Breath-counting meditation was applied to 10 normal adults. Then, clinical research State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), State-Trait Anger eXpression Inventory (STAXI), Psychosocial Well-being Index Short Form (PWI-SF), Brief Encounter Psychosocial Instrument-Korean version (BEPSI-K), Heart Rate Variability (HRV), and Vital Signs (V/S) were carried out to analyze the responses of breath-counting meditations. Results: 1) Systolic Blood Pressure (SBP) decreased on the fifteenth day of breath-counting meditation, and Body Temperature (BT) increased on the fifteenth day. In addition, respiration decreased throughout the period of breath-counting meditation. 2) Standard deviations of N-N interval and Total Power (TP) of HRV all significantly increased on the fifteenth day of breath-counting meditation. 3) Scores of STAI1, STAXI1, STAXI2, and PWI-SF decreased after the breath-counting meditation. Conclusions: The results suggested that breath-counting meditations have positive responses to anger, anxiety and stress.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the prevalence and factors on Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) symptoms in university students. Methods: This study was descriptive survey research. The subjects were 187 university students from one university. The exclusion criteria were 1) had GI surgery 2) had severe physiologic or psychologic problems 3) had liver, bile duct, pancreatic, and intestinal disease that required treatment. The ROME III was used to diagnose IBS. Sociodemographic characteristics, general health state by SF-36, psychological health by SCL-90-R, stress by perceived stress scale, sleep disturbance by Korean sleep scale, and diet habits were measured. Data were analyzed by using SPSS 17.0. Results: Seventeen students (9.1%) had IBS by ROME III criteria, but 46% had some GI problems at that time. Abdominal pain or discomfort continued for last six months or more in 14.3%. Fiber intake, obsessive-compulsiveness, hostility, psychoticism, global severity index, positive symptom distress, role physical, bodily pain, social functioning, and mental health were significantly different between IBS group and Non IBS group. Conclusion: Over nine percent of the students were diagnosed by Rome III criteria, and almost half of them had some GI problems. Diet, personality, general health state, and psychological health were factors of IBS.
The study aimed to explore the association between tourism experience and the quality of life among the elderly over aged 65. Using a sample from Jeju, this study clarifies tourism experiences of the elderly and examines the relationship among tourism experience, six different life domains, and overall quality of life by generating theoretical and practical implications. Structural Equation Modeling approach was used to identify the relationships among the constructs. The results revealed that travel experience positively influences satisfaction with family, social, material, psychological, health, and leisure life domain. However, not all life domain satisfaction affects overall quality of life. Satisfaction with family, leisure, health, psychological well-being life domains was linked to overall life satisfaction among the elderly.
Purpose: Prenatal depression is associated with potential negative consequences for the mother and infant. The purpose of this study was to examine pregnant women's stress, and depression and their impact on maternal-fetal attachment and fetal growth. Methods: Data were collected by means of a questionnaire and fetal sonogram from a convenience sample of 166 pregnant women. Results: Women who have a low educational level, poor health and are dissatisfied with their marriage showed low maternal-fetal attachment. Prenatal depression had significant correlations with length of pregnancy and level of stress. Even though correlation between maternal stress and fetal weight (r=-.15, p=.099) and correlation between maternal depression and maternal-fetal attachment (r=-.13, p=.095) were not statistically significant, the impact of the prenatal psychological state of mothers can not be ignored as it relates to fetal health. Conclusion: Maternal-fetal attachment and fetal growth can be affected by maternal emotional state, including stress or depression. These findings suggest that primary care nurses in hospitals and public health centers should provide prenatal depression screening and nursing intervention programs for management and prevention of prenatal stress and depression.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between pain and psychological state in female office workers with neck pain. Methods : Experimental group of 31 healthy subjects complained of neck and arm discomfort related to computer use which lasted more than 3 months in the past year and was present in the past 7 days as well as on the day of test. Outcomes were assessed by meridian-electromyography(MEMG), Neck Disability Index(NDI), Visual Analog Scale(VAS), Beck Depression Inventory(BDI), Stress Reaction Inventory(SRI), Holmes & Rahe Social Readjustment Rating Scale(SRRS). Results : The NDI score and BDI score had a correlationship(r=0.48), and the NDI score and SRI score also had a correlationship(r=0.48), significantly. The NDI score and contraction power of upper trapezius by MEMG had a correlationship significantly, but with the other muscles the NDI score didn't have correlationships. The NDI score and the SRI score were significantly higher in depression group(BDI score ${\circ}{\surd}$14). The contraction power of trapezius by MEMG was significantly lower in depression group. Conclusions : The results suggest that mental stress can be a major risk factor of neck pain in female office workers.
LMT consisting of 10 landscape elements is one of psychology diagnosis method for inspecting the psychological state of client. In this paper, we make knowledge base accumulating knowledge about LMT landscape elements. By using this knowledge base, we also propose and implement LMT diagnosis assistance system generating LMT inspection report being a result of diagnosis. This proposed system generates diagnosis report based on LMT knowledge base which accumulate knowledge from plenty of reference and research project, that's why we improve the objectivity of diagnosis results. And new knowledge about LMT can be accumulated in knowledge base, so the system proposed in this paper can be extensible continuously. The implementation of system proposed in this paper offers web-based services. To show effectiveness of the system, we diagnose the actual case by using the system, and show the diagnosis result.
Prevalent usage of mobile devices among consumers has been well recognized and this is especially imperative among young adult consumers. The mobile phone became the gateway of their communication, media consumption, retail transaction, education, and (virtual) social life. However, there is little empirical research explaining the dynamics behind the psychological underpinning of young adult consumers, specifically Generation Y, to understand their usages and dependency on mobile phones. This study, therefore, aims to unveil antecedents and consequences of Gen Y consumers' mobile phone dependency from a media psychological perspective. We developed a conceptual model based on theory of self-monitoring (Snyder 1974, 1987), extended self-concept (Belk, 1988), and media dependency theory (Ball-Rokeach & Defluer, 1976). Four hundred ninety-eight students in the U.S. provided usable responses to our pencil-and-paper survey. Causal modeling analysis results demonstrated that both ability to modify one's behavior and sensitivity to cues for social appropriate behavior dimensions of the self-monitoring tendency positively predicted one's level of fashion involvement, which in turn positively predicted his/her mobile phone dependency. Individual's mobile phone dependency, fashion involvement and self-monitoring's ability dimension exhibited positive and direct impact on one's perception of the salience of mobile phone case product attributes. Based on the findings, we provided pragmatic and theoretical implications for the industry and academia.

The COVID-19 global health crisis has affected the mental and psychological health and well-being of the people around the world. However, little is known about the impact of COVID-19 among Filipino teachers. This study was conducted to determine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the quality of life (QoL) of professional teachers in the Philippines. A descriptive cross-sectional study was used involving 139 licensed professional teachers. The COVID-19 Impact on Quality of Life (COV19-QoL) was the primary measure used in this study. Descriptive statistics, t-test, and one-way ANOVA were the statistical tools employed to analyze the data. Results indicated a moderate COVID-19 impact on the QoL of the teachers. There was a significant difference in the impact of COVID-19 on QoL by degree program. However, the impact of COVID-19 on QoL did not significantly differ by age, sex, marital status, employment status, monthly salary, presence of a COVID-19 case near their residence, personal knowledge of someone who was infected or died of COVID-19, presence of a medical condition, and perceived threat. The psychological well-being and QoL of teachers must be recognized and teachers must be provided with support as they continue to adapt to the impact brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. This study contributes to the growing literature on the impact of the pandemic.
