화장의 사회.심리적 기대효과에 따른 화장이미지와 자의식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Makeup Image and Self-Consciousness According to the Level of Expected Socio-Psychological Effect of Makeup)

  • This study was made to investigate the differences in Korean woman's perceived makeup image and self-consciousness according to their expectation level in socio-psychological effect of makeup, and to gather information needed for the better understanding of cosmetics consumers and more effective marketing activities of cosmetics industries. Normative-descriptive survey method using questionnaire was employed for the present study. The survey was conducted in August 2001 and the sample consisted of 942 women between the ages of 18 and 50 residing in Seoul and Kyungi province. Data were analyzed by SPSS package. Factor analysis, ANOVA, and MANOVA were employed for the analysis of the data. The results are as follows : (1) Six factors emerged from the data related to the category of expected socio-psychological effect of makeup. Those factors were named as "increasing positiveness", "refreshment", "covering weakness", "self-expression", "consideration for others", and "the tool for self-change". Four factors were found in the category of makeup image, and the factors were named as "refinement", "nobility", "favorable impression ", and "personality ". (2) There was a tendency that those who highly expect the socio-psychological effect of makeup have more positive self-image. Considering this differences in self-image according to the level of expected socio-psychological effect of makeup. service activities for the consumers' positive opinion and attitude to the effect of makeup are needed, and it seems that those service activities will have a good influence on the consumers' emotional health. (3) Subjects with higher level of social anxiety showed higher expectations in refreshment, covering weakness and self-expression. Considering this trend, marketers have to make an constant effort for the variety of cosmetics and makeup manner by which consumers satisfy their expectation in makeup. It seems that the satisfaction of their expectation on the help of makeup effect will contribute to lessen social anxiety, and to get emotional stability. (4) Subjects with higher personal self-anxiety showed higher expectations of the effect. "increase of positiveness". 공조방식에 의한 예상 온열감 반응(PMV) 변화에 따른 심리/생리적 감성반응의 변화 (The Changes of Psychological and Physiological Emotional Responses According to Change of the Index of Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) due to Air Conditioning Types)

  • 본 연구는 냉 난방공조 조건에서 예상 온열감 반응(predicted mean vote; PMV)의 변화에 따른 심리 생리적 감성반응의 변화를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기존 공조 시스템의 냉 난방 가동에 따라 PMV의 변화를 유도하고, 쾌/불쾌 및 각성/이완 정도를 심리적 감성반응으로, 심박률(heart rate; HR)을 생리적 감성반응으로 활용하여 PMV 변화에 따른 심리 생리적 감성반응을 측정하였다. 그 결과, 동일한 PMV 변화 범위 내에서 재실자의 심리적 쾌/불쾌 및 긴장/이완 반응과 생리적 반응이 공조 조건이 달라짐에 따라 변화하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 난방과 냉방의 공조조건에 따라 재실자의 실내 온열환경에 대한 감성반응이 서로 다를 뿐 아니라 각 공조 조건에 민감한 감성반응이 존재하는 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 이는 실내 온열조건을 재실자에게 가장 적합하도록 조절하고자 할 때, 인간의 심리 및 생리적 감성반응을 모두 고려해야 할 필요가 있음을 시사한다.

수상 태양광발전시설의 심리적 변화 및 시각적 선호도 - 뇌파(EEG) 및 SD법을 중심으로 - (Psychological Changes and Visual Preferences of Floating Solar Photovoltanics - Focusing on EEG and SD Methods -)

  • 탄소배출을 감축하기 위한 태양광발전시설은 산림, 농지, 도시, 수상 등에 우후죽순처럼 설치되고 있다. 그러나 태양광발전시설의 설치 이후 관찰자에게 미치는 시각적 선호도 및 심리적 영향에 관한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 한국 최대 규모의 수상 태양광발전시설 합천댐을 대상으로 근경, 중경, 원경의 시(視)거리에 따라 촬영을 실시하였다. 획득한 이미지를 포토샵을 통해 수상 태양광발전시설을 유무에 대해 비교하여 총 50명 연구 대상자의 뇌파(EEG) 및 설문지 분석을 통해 수상 태양광발전시설 설치 전후의 심리적 변화 및 시각적 선호도를 분석하였다. 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수상 태양광발전시설의 설치에 따라 연구 대상자의 심리적 변화 및 시각적 선호도에 소극적인 영향을 끼치고 있다. 둘째, 수상 태양광발전시설의 설치에 따른 심리적 변화는 연구대상자의 국적/성별/전공과는 상관없이 거의 모든 연구대상자들에게 영향을 끼치는 것으로 판단되었다. 셋째, 수상 태양광발전시설의 설치에 따른 시각적 선호도는 낮으며, 이는 수상 태양광발전시설로 인해 경관의 '친근성' 및 '자연성'에 부정적 영향을 주는 것을 알 수 있다. 또한 이런 시각적 선호도의 변화는 연구대상자의 성별/전공에 따른 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 시(視)거리에 따른 수상 태양광발전시설이 관찰자에게 끼치는 심리적 변화 및 시각적 선호도는 근경이 중경과 원경보다 높은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Triple Helix and the Circle of Innovation

  • This paper positions the triple-Helix as a meso-level notion, an epicycle in a grander circle of technological change, institutional change, and psychological change. Because of the differing speeds of these several kinds of change, speed is proposed as a high-level system metric. This implies that what we commonly call bridging agencies or facilitators - lawyers, venture capitalists, incubators, etc. - are better called buffering agencies, as they help to engage entities changing at different speeds. They use human judgment as well as information technologies to choose feasible timing for these engagements. The paper highlights implications for thinking about innovation diffusion: The grand cycle of socio-technical change means we should, rather, think in terms of innovation reinforcement, or a circle of innovation.

The effect of switching costs on resistance to change in the use of software

  • People tend to resist changing their software even alternatives are better then the current one. This study examines the resistance to change in the use of software from the switching costs perspective based on status quo bias theory. For this study, we select Web Browsers as software. Based on the classification of switching costs into three groups (psychological, procedural, and loss), this study identifies six types of switching costs (uncertainty, commitment, learning, setup, lost performance, and sunk costs). This study tests the effects of six switching costs on user resistance to change based on the survey of 204 web browser users. The results indicate that lost performance costs and emotional costs have significant effects on user resistance to change. This research contributes towards understanding of switching costs and the effects on user resistance to change. This study also offers suggestions to software vendors for retaining their users and to organizations for managing user resistance in switching and adopting software.

명상프로그램(α version) 시행 전 후의 심리유형별 HRV 변화 연구 (Research of Change of Heart Rate Variability by Psychological Types before and after Meditation Program (α Version))

  • Objectives: To examine the medical effectiveness of meditation programs ($\alpha$ version) by psychological types. Methods: MBTI, which was created by Katharine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers, was used as the Psychological Type test and to investigate psychological temperament and functions and psychological preferences. Heart rate variability was used to test the effectiveness of meditation by investigating time domains (mean HR, SDNN, PSI) and frequence domain parameters (TP, LF, HF, LF or HF norm, Ln (TP or VLF or LF or HF). Results: 1. The autonomic nervous system became active, and both time domains and frequency domains showed positive responses to meditation in heart rate variability tests, without distinction of Psychological Types. 2. In Psychological Types using sensing over intuition for perception, there were positive responses as well as an increase of the parasympathetic nervous system's activeness to meditation for heart rate variability tests, depending on psychological temperaments and psychological functions. 3. In heart rate variability tests by preferences, there was no difference. Extroversion and Introversion types, Sensing over Intuition Types, Thinking over Feeling Types, Judging over Perception Types had an increase of activeness of the parasympathetic nervous system. Therefore, meditation has a positive physical and psychological relaxing effect. Conclusions: A complex meditation program has a positive effect on overall meditation. Especially in the MBTI test, sensing was superior to intuition when people recognized objects. The Sensing, Thinking and Judging type was more advantageous than Intuition, Feeling and Perception, respectively. In the future, a well-designed control study is needed, to develop a suitable meditation for each personality type.

조직 구성원의 자아 일치성이 신규 정보기술 도입의 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Organization Member's Self-Congruity on the Performance of the Acquisition of New Information Technology)

  • These days, the business environment such as Information Technology (IT) is rapidly changing, and organizations are consistently trying to change themselves for the survival and success under the changing environment. In this situation, change management is very important because it draws the change behaviors of organization members for the success of organizational change. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the organization members' psychological factors on the performance of the acquisition of new IT, which is one of the most important organizational change. Based on previous studies in the area of organizational change, organization members' resistance to change, self-congruity theory, change activities and organizational performance, the research model is developed for validating the effect of organization members' self-congruity on the performance of the acquisition of new IT. Statistical analyses show that self-congruity has a significant effect on the change activities. In particular, private self-congruity has more impact on the change activities than public self-congruity. In addition, self-leadership, rewards and recognitions, and the diffusion of change activities have significant effects on job satisfaction. Self-leadership has a significant effect on organizational commitment.

에어로빅댄스 활성화를 위한 체중변화와 운동몰입에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Weight Change and Exercise Immersion for Activation of Aerobic Dance)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 에어로빅댄스 활성화를 위한 체중변화와 운동몰입에 관한 연구를 차이 분석하여 지속적으로 에어로빅댄스 활성화가 되도록 제시하는데 주된 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 2020년 4월에 경남에 소재한 일반 에어로빅댄스 회원들을 대상으로 선정하고 비확률표집방법(Non-Probability Sampling)의 하나인 편의표본추출법(Convenience Sampling Method)으로 표본 추출을 이용한 설문지로 시행하였다. 이와 같이 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인구통계학적 특성은 부분적으로 차이가 높게 나타났다. 연령은 40~49세, 신장은 160cm이상, 직업은 주부, 체중변화는 시작 후, 체중변화량은 -3kg 이상, 참여강도는 100분이상, 참여빈도는 4일, 참여기간은 5년이하가 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 체중변화(신체자신감, 활동자신감, 댄스자신감, 심리안정효과, 댄스활동효과, 수행동작효과)와 운동몰입(행위몰입, 인지몰입)에 부분적으로 높은 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 체중변화(신체자신감, 활동자신감, 댄스자신감, 심리안정효과, 댄스활동효과, 수행동작효과)와 운동몰입(행위몰입, 인지몰입)에 부분적으로 높은 영향이 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Psychological and Pedagogical Features the Use of Digital Technology in a Blended Learning Environment

  • The article highlights the problems of the digitalization of the educational process, which affect the pedagogical cluster and are of a psychological nature. The authors investigate the transformational changes in education in general and the individual beliefs of each subject of the educational process, caused by both the change in the format of learning (distance, mixed), and the use of new technologies (digital, communication). The purpose of the article is to identify the strategic trend of the educational process, which is a synergistic combination of pedagogical methodology and psychological practice and avoiding dialectical opposition of these components of the educational space. At the same time, it should be noted that the introduction of digital technologies in the educational process allows for short-term difficulties, which is a usual phenomenon for innovations in the educational sphere. Consequently, there is a need to differentiate the fundamental problems and temporary shortcomings that are inherent in the new format of learning (pedagogical features). Based on the awareness of this classification, it is necessary to develop psychological techniques that will prevent a negative reaction to the new models of learning and contribute to a painless moral and spiritual adaptation to the realities of the present (psychological characteristics). The methods used in the study are divided into two main groups: general-scientific, which investigates the pedagogical component (synergetic, analysis, structural and typological methods), and general-scientific, which are characterized by psychological direction (dialectics, observation, and comparative analysis). With the help of methods disclosed psychological and pedagogical features of the process of digitalization of education in a mixed learning environment. The result of the study is to develop and carry out methodological constants that will contribute to the synergy for the new pedagogical components (digital technology) and the psychological disposition to their proper use (awareness of the effectiveness of new technologies). So, the digitalization of education has demonstrated its relevance and effectiveness in the pedagogical dimension in the organization of blended and distance learning under the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic. The task of the psychological cluster is to substantiate the positive aspects of the digitalization of the educational process.
