아동의 정서반응 유형, 정서조절 전략 및 효과 탐색: 정서조절 전략 및 효과와 심리적 안녕감간의 관계 (Children's Emotional Response, Emotion Regulation Strategy and Emotion Regulation Effect: Relationships among the Emotion Regulation Strategy, Emotion Regulation Effect and Psychological Well-being)

  • This study was conducted to investigate children's emotional response, emotion regulation strategy, and emotion regulation effect (regulation effect of strategies), and to determine the relationships among emotion regulation strategy, emotion regulation effect and children's psychological well-being in anger, (ear, and disappointment situations. Emotion regulation strategy recomposed four strategies through factor analysis based on the children's direct answers to the question inquiring on the method used to regulate anger, fear, and disappointment. A total of 359 elementary school children in glades 5 or 6 selected one strategy use to regulate anger, fear, and disappointment. The effect of that selected strategy were estimated. Psychological well-being is evaluated by a questionnaire. The results of this study showed that most of elementary school children used the attention evocation strategy to regulate anger, fear, and disappointment, and this strategy was confirmed to be the most effective. Children's psychological well-being was associated with only emotion regulation effect in anger, fear, and disappointment situations.

Emotion Regulation as a Pathway Through Which Personality Affects Psychological Well-being: A Preliminary Study in Korea and the United States

  • Emotion regulation has been suggested as a pathway through which personality traits (e.g., extraversion or neuroticism) affect psychological well-being. However, the pathway needs further investigation across cultures due to variations in parts of the relationship reported in recent culture research. With an aim of improving current understanding of the pathway, we investigated the role of emotion regulation mediating the link between personality traits and well-being across two college samples from different cultural backgrounds: Korea and the United States (US). Results of mediation analysis revealed that the extraversion-well-being relationship was fully mediated by the degree to which individuals regulate negative emotions in both Korean and US samples. However, the neuroticism-well-being relationship was partially mediated by emotion regulation in the US sample, while it was fully mediated in the Korean sample. The role of emotion regulation differently functioning across cultures suggests the importance of investigating cultural-specific mechanism of psychological processes.

청소년의 부모-자녀의사소통, 정서지능 및 부모화경험이 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Parent-Adolescent Communication, Emotional Intelligence and Parentification on the Psychological Well-being of Adolescents)

  • This study investigates the effects of parent-adolescent communication, emotional intelligence and parentification on the psychological well-being of adolescents. Participants were 712 middle and high school students from Seoul. The collected data were analyzed through a Cronbach's $\alpha$, two-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation and stepwise multiple regression. The results are as follows: 1) While parent-adolescent communication, parentification, and psychological well-being differed by grade, emotional intelligence did not differ by grade. 2) Father-adolescent communication, regulation of emotion, expression of emotion, practice of emotion, recognition of emotion and mother-adolescent communication were significant predictors of the psychological well-being of middle school students. 3) The recognition of emotion, father-adolescent communication, practice of emotion, regulation of emotion, and mother-adolescent communication were significant predictors of the psychological well-being of high school students. 4) Emotional intelligence played a partially mediating role in the relationship between parent-adolescent communication and psychological well-being.

중학생의 기질, 사회적지지 및 정서조절능력이 긍정심리자본에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Temperament, Social Support and Emotion Regulation on the Positive Psychological Capital of Middle School Students)

  • Objective: This study examined the influences of general characteristics, temperament, social support, and emotional regulation on the positive psychological capital of adolescents. The data were collected from 672 middle school students living in Gwangju. Methods: Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation analyses and hierarchical regression analyses. Results: Temperament best explained positive psychological capital. In terms of individual factors, self-emotion regulation had the greatest effect on positive psychological capital, followed by friend support, persistence temperament, others emotion regulation, academic achievement, harm avoidance temperament, gender, and family support, in that order. Conclusion: The results for the effects of temperament, social support and emotion regulation on adolescent's positive psychological capital highlights the important roles played by the temperament, social support, and emotion regulation in improving an adolescent's positive psychological capital. The study contributes to the literature by proving fundamental insights into an adolescent's psychological strengths and higher quality of life.

  • In recent years, the number of Chinese college students in unhealthy or sub-healthy state in terms of mental health accounts for about 30% and has been going up. As we know, college students are in the middle of youth, an important stage of physical and psychological development. In this case, how to regulate mental health will become an important research direction. Based on emotion regulation theory, this thesis discussed the impact that 'healing animation' had on college students' psychological capital, and how emotion regulation had done its work in the process. According to documents research and empirical study, 'healing animation' is positively affecting the psychological capital of college students through the medium -- emotion regulation. Finally, this thesis provided a practical layout to accumulate college students' psychological capital, and theoretical reference for 'healing animation' as well.

  • The Purpose of this study was to explore the effects of differentiation, emotion over involvement(expressed emotion), and criticism between middle-or-old aged parent and child, by relation of emotional system, on child's psychological depression. The subject of this study were m premarital adult children over 30 years old. The major findings of this study were as follows. First. it was found that mother-child differentiation was more perceptive than that of father-child. With psychological depression, expressed emotion within family and criticism were shown average score that was lower than middle score. Second, among demographic characteristics, there are significant differences premarital adult children's sex, education, income, family type, father's education, and parents' marital status. Third, as the result of regression analysis, the higher level of psychological depression when the lower differentiation between parent-child, the higher expressed emotion over involvement within family and criticism. Based on the findings in this study, the relation of emotional system is very important. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the therapeutic intervention and relation improvement program when individual and family counseling about parent-child are going on.

코로나 19상황에서 생활체육 참여자들의 운동정서, 여가만족, 심리적 웰빙의 관계 (The Relationship between Exercise Emotion, Leisure Satisfaction and Psychological Well-being of Participants in Life Sports in the COVID 19)

  • 본 연구는 코로나19로 인한 펜테믹 상황에서 제한적으로 생활체육에 참여하고 있는 대상자들을 대상으로 운동 정서, 여가만족, 심리적 웰빙의 관계를 규명하여 삶의 질을 향상하는데 도움이 되는 기초 정보를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여정기적으로 생활체육에 참여하는 구성원들을 대상으로 운동정서, 여가만족, 심리적 웰빙 척도를 활용하여 유의표집방법을 통해 자료를 수집한 후 다양한 통계분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 생활체육 참가자들의 성별에 따른 운동정서, 여가만족, 심리적 웰빙에 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 생활체육 참가자들의 경력에 따른 운동정서, 여가만족, 심리적 웰빙에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 운동정서, 여가만족, 심리적 웰빙 간에는 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 운동정서는 여가만족에 정적인 영향을 미쳐 심리적 웰빙에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 운동정서는 심리적 웰빙에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 생활체육 참가자들의 운동정서와 여가만족 심리적 웰빙은 긍정적으로 밀접한 관련성이 있는 것으로 확인되었다.

  • 본 연구는 선수들의 스포츠 심리기술과 스포츠정서에 대한 스포츠 정서지능의 중요도를 규명하기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 이러한 목적에 따라 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0을 이용하여 측정 자료의 구성타당도 및 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 그리고 스포츠 정서지능과 심리기술 및 스포츠 정서의 관계는 AMOS 18.0을 이용한 잠재평균분석을 통해 스포츠 정서지능 수준 별 스포츠 심리기술과 스포츠 정서의 차이를 분석하였고, 공분산구조분석을 통해 이들 요인간의 관계를 분석하였다. 분석결과 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 스포츠 정서지능 수준 별 스포츠 심리기술과 스포츠 정서의 차이는 스포츠 정서지능 고집단이 저집단에 비해 스포츠 심리기술의 팀조화와 심상 및 의지력이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 스포츠 정서에서는 자부심과 행복이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 스포츠 정서지능과 스포츠 심리기술의 관계에서는 스포츠 정서지능이 스포츠 심리기술에 정적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 스포츠 정서지능과 스포츠 정서의 관계에서는 스포츠 정서지능이 스포츠 정서에 정적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 스포츠 심리기술과 스포츠 정서의 관계에서는 스포츠 심리기술이 스포츠 정서에 정적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

대학생의 성인애착, 정서조절양식 및 심리적 안녕감의 관계 (The Relationship among Adult Attachment, Emotion Regulation Style, and Psychological Well-being of University Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of socio-demographic variables, adult attachment and emotion regulation style on psychological well-being of university students. We conducted a survey on 318 university students in Cheongju-si and Hongseong gun. T-test, Pearson' productive correlation, hierarchical regression analysis were used. The results were as follows: First, there was a significant difference in emotion regulation style according to university student's sex. In other words, females used more support-seeking style than males did. Second, male university students' psychological well-being was high at more active style, less anxiety attachment and avoidant/distractive style, older students, less avoidance attachment, and higher economic status. Third, female university students' psychological well-being was high at less avoidant/distractive style and more active style, older students, less anxiety attachment, and more support-seeking style. In conclusion, emotion regulation style was the strongest factor to increase university student's psychological well-being among other variables. The implications and limitations of this study were discussed.

키덜트 패션구매자의 특성과 구매행동 -키덜트 패션감성과 사회심리적 특성을 중심으로- (A Study on the Characteristics and the Buying Behaviors of Kidult Fashion Purchasers - Kidult Fashion Emotion and Socio-Psychological Variables -)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the dimensions of kidult fashion emotion and identify the influence of socio-psychological characteristics(nostalgic orientation, change inclination, and self-esteem) on kidult fashion emotion. 'Kidult', composite of kid and adult is indicating a group of people who feel nostalgic for and feel attachment to the products that they have been used in their childhood. A questionnaire was prepared in the survey and a total of 474 women in their twenties and thirties who had purchased the kidult fashion products were selected. The research findings are as follows: 1. Kidult fashion emotion can be classified as 5 factors: pursuits of fashion emotion, seeking girlish image emotion, preference for character emotion, seeking fun emotion, and past oriented emotion. 2. Socio-psychological variable that affected kidult fashion emotion is turned out change inclination. 3. The higher the seeking girlish image and pursuit of fashion emotion tendencies, the more they purchase the kidult fashion products. Based on these results, kidult fashion emotions are not the attachment to the past but positive expression of self and individuality.
