The purpose of this study is to minimize negative effect of VMS travel time information service by sensitivity analysis, which forecasts the change in link traffic volume. As a result, strategies for providing travel information that can change driving patterns for minimizing travel time were found. The framework for analysis is recently expanded with the application of game theory. According to the experiment, the algorithm generated for travel time information service reduces total travel time and yields travel patterns that is very close to the system optimization. Also, this study found that the route the travel time service information is provided about could play the important role.

The purpose of this paper is to develop the model of the customer's satisfaction score for web site providing science & technology contents. The most important issue for the customer's satisfaction score is providing more appropriate information service about science & technology. Internet questionnaire method was used to collect data of the satisfaction level of customers. Data was collected from December 15th though December 30th, 2002. There were 2, 092 respondents to questionnaire. Statistical analysis were used in this Study. The score of the customer's satisfaction for web site providing science & technology contents is 87.13 which is from our customer's satisfaction score model.

The growth of radidly improving computer and information technology has a profound impact upon economical, social and cultural sectors. With the progress of information technology, information-telecommunication services are produced. This service is used in sending the information to order service-users, and search the need information. This case study considers information-telecommunication service as a consumer-innovation. Information telecommunication services are provided by firms involved in collection. HiTEL(High-Telecommunication) service represents a subset of this group in that the collection, processing and transmission is primarily in an electronic from. The purpose of this paper is concerned with examining the spatial diffusion process, the issues, and behavior to used in HiTEL service one of the information-telecommunication services in Kwangju. HiTEL service is one of the typical information-telecommunication services, and is begun in Seoul and Kwangju area from October 1991, and diffusing several cities and regions now. Diffusion process of HiTEL services in Kwangju showed the irregular pattern in major residential areas, particularly Daewei-dong, Dongun-dong present higher adoption rate than other area, and where functioned as a diffusion center, the social and economic characteristics of residential area have a critical effect on diffusion process. The major adoption areas are recently built residential area, apartment districts, and diffusion direction shows two directions according to development of residental area; one is to south, another is from northeast to southwest. In order to understand the use-behavior of HiTEL service, questionary survey was carried out. Most adopters have a concern to actual life, as HiTEL, information of telephonenumber, and Daewoo Dial-Van compared with other information service. But the actual use-frequency of service is very low. In use of Kwangju regional information service, the use-frequency of operator is very low because of the lack of advertisement, the lack of providing information, and the low-concerns for regional information. But most of adopters need the providing of various regional information as regional news, education, medical and cultural events, housing, city-transportation, and job market. Thus, in order to increase and diffuse the HiTEL service, the establishment of diffusion strategies and the scheme for solution of related issues are very important. The direct diffusion strategies are the diffusion of information-mind, establishment of diffusion and education center, providing of regional information. The scheme for solution of related issues revealed in operating process are reduction of rental fee, development of the related technology and services.

In private employment service, providing employment information for job seeker and recruiter, providing information on job, job map, and providing vocational training and development have been paid attention. Particularly, it needs to train the employees, working at private employment service agencies. The purpose of the study was to examine the current trends of private employment service, service employees, and their training status. In the result, we suggest that it needs to manage the quality of service employees' qualification, to initiate the accreditation program for their expertise, and set up an institutions for training them. In addition, providing a program of supervision for employees, considering a set up of an mutual aid association among themselves, and developing specialized training programs.

Marine accidents are mostly caused by medium and small ships, and are continuously increasing. In this paper, we propose an architecture of the speech synthesis based automatic safety navigation support service providing system for small ships that equiped onboard systems compared with vessels. The main purpose of the system is to prevent marine accidents by providing synthesized voice safety messages to nearby ships. The safety navigation support service is operated by connecting GPS and AIS to synthesize voice safety messages, automatically broadcast through VHF. Therefore, we developed a data processing module, a staged risk analysis module, a voice synthesis safety message generation module, and a VHF broadcasting equipment control module, which are components of the system. In addition, we conducted laboratory-level and sea-trial demonstration tests using the developed the system, which verified usefulness of the proposed service.

This study is intended for implementing the system environment that can help integrate and retrieve various types of data in real-time by providing semantic interoperability among distributed heterogeneous information systems. The semantic interoperability is made possible by providing a TMDR(Topicmaps Metadata Registry), a set of ontologies. TMDR, which has been made by combining MDR(MetaData Registry) and TopicMaps and storing them in the database, is able to generate distributed query and provide efficient knowledge. MDR is a metadata management technique for distributed data management. TopicMaps is an ontology representation technique that takes into consideration the hierarchy and association for accessing knowledge data. We have created TMDR, a kind of ontology, that is fit for any system and able to detect and resolve semantic conflicts on the level of data and schema. With this system we propose a query-processing technique to integrate and access heterogeneous information sources. Unlike existing retrieval methods this makes possible efficient retrieval and reasoning by providing association focusing on subjects.

The taste preference for cheese is primarily dependent on an individual's habitual experience, such as personal memories since childhood. Cheese is not a traditional food in Korea, and therefore, the liking of cheese is acquired mainly through the exposure to European natural cheese by frequent travels rather than habitual experience. Although Korean dairy farms started the production of European style natural cheese because of surplus milk undulation, yet its demand has been consistently increasing in the last decade. Most of the mountain cheese variety in Europe are produced during the summer season on mountain pastures, especially in countries surrounded by the Alps. Nevertheless, not only consumers but also mountain cheese producers cannot comprehensively explain the differences in the nutritional properties of the milk from cows that grazed on mountain pasture and cows that were raised indoors. As the demand for cheese consumption is steadily increasing in Korea, it is necessary to study the effects of providing marketing information regarding the health conditions and rearing system of dairy cows in relation to the nutritional composition of cheese. In addition to the marketing focus on health-promoting unsaturated fatty acid composition of milk and cheese, the relationship between providing the marketing information on the raising environments of cows and the overall liking of mountain cheese were also investigated.

With the development of ICT technologies, various systems and services based on data have been introduced. Also, raising the importance of technologies that provide trust to a data, infrastructure, and services. for ICT services. However, in the existing ICT service environment, there is no way to objectively judge and manage the trust of various components (content, infrastructure, process, service provider, etc) that constitute a specific service, and there is a limitation that we can only rely on the service provider's own quality standards. This paper provides requirements, functional archtecture, and procedures for providing reliable ICT services from the perspective of ITU-T international standards. Trust-enabled service provisioning adds additional functions for providing trust to existing ICT service entities (service resources, stakeholders, and users), collecting, analyzing, and providing trust related information. Therefore, a users can consider the trust of various service components based on analyzed trust information based on their trust requirements.

The purpose of this paper is to provide a convenient platform for bus users and a platform to provide tourist services suitable for bus tourism as integrated services. Recently, the number of FIT tourists for recreational purposes using public transportation is increasing as the bus use environment is improved. Accordingly, we need a tourist platform that meets the needs of tourists. In particular, a bus information providing algorithm is implemented using a bus information public API to more conveniently use the bus information providing system, and a user use behavior data collection module and a data mining module To develop a contents platform based on a bus stop for bus tourism services to FIT tourists using public transportation.
