수해양 교육을 위한 웹페이지 프로토타입 설계 연구 (A Study on the Design of Prototype for Developing Webpage of Fisheries and Marine Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to design of prototype for developing webpage of fisheries and marine education especially in the field of Busan area. For this, we extract the guideline for development from literature review, need and task analysis, and advices of subject domain experts. Followings were the results of the research: (a) We make the prototype for main menu and screen based on institute, time, subject, and location. (b) We make the prototype for program approach guide, which is consisted of location based menu constructing prototype guide, activation prototype guide, and selection prototype guide. (c) We make the prototype for functional guide, which is consisted of information section, participation section and other sections.

자산어보를 토대로 한 해양캐릭터 개발을 위한 원형 연구 (A Study on a Prototype for the Development of a Marine Character Based on the 『Jasan-urbo』)

  • In this study, we propose a marine character prototype study for development of a marine character as digital contents. This study is a precedent study to build a marine character database with the production of digital contents based on "Jasan-urbo". "Jasan-urbo" is a representative cultural heritage that can highlight the value of Korean marine culture as the first illustrated book of marine creatures in Korea. Therefore, we examined the use value of "Jasan-urbo" through the content approach and looked at the visualization for character utilization and then designed a marine fish species classification standard model. Finally, this study proposed the possibility of discovering prototype sources for digitalization of Korean marine creature's resources.

선박 유수분리기용 유분검출기의 개발 (Development of Oil Content Meter for Oily Water Separator in Ship)

  • According to the MARPOL 73/78 of Convention, all ships should have oil filtering equipment and 15 ppm bilge which satisfy Requirements of MARPOL 73/78. This study is concerned with designing and manufacturing a prototype Oil content Meter(OCM) used in machinery area of ship. The prototype OCM is composed of two parts which are oil content sensing module and data processing unit. The oil content sensing module consists of infra-red light source, photo-diode light receivers, and a glass tube for bilge water sample. The data processing unit has a micro-processor as hard core and peripheral devices. The experimental results of prototype OCM and analysis of collected data reveal linear property between transmitted light and scattered light as long as the bilge water has low level content of oil. And this linear property leads to a oil content detecting method which is programmed and loaded into the data processing unit. The performance of the prototype OCM is compared with that of the commercial OCM in the market.

Performance Improvement of Weis-Fogh Type Ship's Propulsion Mechanism Using Spring Type Elastic Wing

  • This experiment was conducted in attempt of improving hydrodynamic efficiency of the propulsion mechanism by installing a spring to the wing so that the opening angle of the wing in one stroke can be changed automatically, compared to the existing method of fixed maximum opening angle in Weis-Fogh type ship propulsion mechanism. Average thrust coefficient was almost fixed with all velocity ratio with the prototype, but with the spring type, thrust coefficient increased sharply as velocity ratio increased. Average propulsive efficiency was larger with bigger opening angle in the prototype, but in the spring type, the one with smaller spring coefficient had larger value. In the range over 1.0 in velocity ratio where big thrust can be generated, spring type had more than twice of propulsive efficiency increase compared to the prototype.

프로토타입 해사데이터 모델 개발 (Development of a Prototype S-100 Data Model)

  • 본 논문에서는 한국형 이내비게이션 프로젝트의 사고취약선박 모니터링 지원서비스 중 상황대응 및 상황관리 프로토타입 모델을 개발하였다. 프로토타입 모델 개발을 위해서 해사데이터 교환 표준 현황과 S-100 표준 데이터 모델 개발 절차를 분석하고 개발 절차에 따라 서비스의 요구사항 분석 및 관련 표준을 참고하여 상황대응 및 상황관리 모델에 대한 프로토타입 어플리케이션 스키마를 개발하고, S-100 표준에 맞추어 프로토타입 피쳐 카탈로그와 프로토타입 포트레이얼 카탈로그를 제작하였다. 개발된 프로토타입 데이터 모델의 검증을 위해서 광양항을 기반으로 테스트 데이터셋을 제작하고, S-100 기반 데이터의 유효성 검증을 위한 소프트웨어를 통해 검증한 결과 모든 데이터가 유효함을 확인하였으며, S-100 뷰어에서 정확한 위치에 지정된 심볼이 표출됨을 확인하였다.

반응표면분석법을 활용한 조미굴김의 개발 및 특성 (Development and Characterization of Seasoned Laver with Concentrated Cooking Oyster Effluent Using RSM)

  • To develop a seasoned laver from cooking oyster effluent (C-COE), this study optimized the C-COE concentration, roasting temperature and time using response surface methodology (RSM). The optimal C-COE concentration, roasting temperature and time for producing seasoned laver from C-COE were 31.0%, 182.2℃ and 21.1 sec, respectively. The proximate composition of the seasoned laver prepared with C-COE under the conditions was 5.2% moisture, 37.4% crude protein, 8.2% crude lipid, 11.1% ash, 38.1% carbohydrate. The water activity of the prototype seasoned laver was 0.038. The prototype had stronger taste and flavor intensities than a commercial product. There was no difference (P>0.05) in the Hunter color value between the prototype and the commercial product. The peroxide (POV) and acid values (AV) of the prototype were 6.0 meq/kg and 1.4 mg KOH/g, respectively, which are considered acceptable. The results suggest that the seasoned laver with C-COE developed can be industrialized.

천수용 다기능 해양폐기물 수거시스템 개발(PART II : 시스템 구성 및 성능시험) (Development of Multi-purpose Marine Wastes Cleaning Systems for the Shallow Waters(PART II : System Development and Performance Evaluation))

  • 본 연구는 '천수용 다기능 해양폐기물 수거시스템 개발(PART I 초기 개념설계)'의 후속연구로서, 천수용 다기능 해양폐기물 수거시스템의 시스템 구성 및 성능시험 결과에 대하여 논한다(조[2003]). 수거깊이 15미터 이내의 항내 침적폐기물의 수거를 위한 다관절 수거시스템과 100미터 이내의 예인식 수거시스템이 개발되었다(해양수산부[2001]). 다관절 수거시스템은 부유폐기물, 침적 잔여폐기물의 수거, 작업의 고효율화를 위한 스틸와이어커터 시스템도 포함이 되어 다기능화 되어있다. 이 시스템의 시제품을 제작하여 수심이 낮은 해역에서 실해역 시운전을 수행, 시스템의 성능검증을 수행하였다. 결과로서, 개발된 시스템은 안전하고 원활하게 작동되어 시스템의 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • 선박의 건조 공정 중 병목공정에 해당하며 전적으로 숙련자의 수작업으로만 이루어지는 공정이 곡가공 공정이다. 이러한 곡가공 공정을 자동화 하고자 산업계와 학계의 많은 노력이 경주되었다. 기존의 곡가공 자동화 시스템 개발은 산업계와 학계에서 오랜 동안 연구되어 왔음에도 불구하고 실제로 생산현장에 투입되어 성공적으로 운영되는 사례는 없었다. 본 연구는 이러한 기존 곡가공 자동화 시스템 개발의 문제점을 파악하고 이를 해결할 수 있는 대안으로 요구사항 정의, 시스템 설계, 하부시스템 및 구성요소의 구현, 시스템 통합 및 검증의 4단계 시스템 엔지니어링 기반의 시스템 개발방법론을 제안하였다. 제안된 개발방법론을 기반으로 선체 곡가공 자동화 시스템 프로토타입 개발에 적용하고 결과를 고찰하여 기존 곡가공 자동화 시스템 개발에서의 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 대안이 될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

자동화선의 평균예상전문가시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (On the Development of Prototype Expert Collision Avoidance System of Automated Ship)

  • This paper intends to develop a Prototype Expert Collision Avoidance System by introducing expert system techniques into the decision block of anti-collision loop. The problem domain of this study is characterized and specified by combining the concepts of anti-collision loop and knowledge -based system for collision avoidance. Domain in knowledge which may originates from the appropriate sources such as the International Regulations for Preventing Collision at Sea 1972, Marine Traffic Laws, and many texts on the subject of anticollision navigation and good seamanship is acquired and formalized into the knowledge-base system using production rule. Finally, a Prototype Expert Collision Avoidance System is built by using the CLIPS, developed by AIS NASA written in and fully integrated with the C language, and some test-and-run results of the system are demonstrated and examined. The author considers the proposed system which is named PECAS to be meaningful as a test bed for a further refined Expert Collision Avoidance System on board the Automated Ship.

Effect of Impinging Plate on Exhaust Emission and Engine Performance in Diesel Engine

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the impinging plate on combustion process in Diesel engine. Especially, the variation of exhaust emission and engine performance by the change of fuel injection timing and fuel injection pressure between the trial engine with impinging plate and the prototype engine were examined. The nitrogen oxide concentration of the trial engine decreased more than 50% compared to the prototype engine, however, smoke concentration of the trial engine indicated higher degree than the prototype engine. The smoke concentration, fuel consumption rate and exhaust gas temperature decreased as the fuel injection timing become faster, whereas the nitrogen oxide concentration decreased as the fuel injection timing is retarded. The nitrogen oxide concentration, fuel consumption rate and exhaust gas temperature decreased as the fuel injection pressure become lower. But smoke concentration decreased as the fuel injection pressure become higher.
