Geographic routing protocols are very attractive choice for routing in wireless sensor networks because they have been shown to scale better than other alternatives. Under certain ideal conditions, geographic routing works correctly and efficiently. The most commonly used geographic routing protocols include greedy forwarding coupled with face routing. Existing face routing algorithms use planarization techniques that rely on the unit-graph assumption. In real world, many conditions violate the unit-graph assumption of network connectivity, such as location errors, communication voids and radio irregularity, cause failure in planarization and consequently face routing. In this paper, we propose the direction-based geographic routing, which enables energy efficient routing under realistic conditions without planarization techniques. Our proposed approach is for the case in which many sensors need to collect data and send it to a central node. Simulation results show that the protocol exhibits superior performances in terms of energy consumption, delivery success rate, and outperforms the compared protocols.

A MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc Network) is a multi-hop routing protocol formed by a collection without the intervention of infrastructure. So the MANET also depended on the property as like variable energy, high degree of mobility, location environments of nodes etc. Generally the various clustering technique and routing algorithm would have proposed for improving the energy efficiency. One of the popular approach methods is a cluster-based routing algorithm using in MANET. In this paper, we propose an algorithm techniques which is TICC (Time Interval Clustering Control) based on energy value in property of each node for solving cluster problem. It provides improving cluster energy efficiency how can being node manage to order each node's energy level. TICC could be able to manage the clustering, re-configuration, maintenance and detection of Node in MANET. Furthermore, the results of modeling shown that Node's energy efficiency and lifetime are improved in MANET.
The 5G network is a next-generation converged network that combines various ICT technologies to realize the need for high speed, hyper connection and ultra low delay, and various efforts have been made to address the security vulnerabilities of the previous generation mobile networks. However, the standards released so far still have potential security vulnerabilities, such as USIM deception and replication attack, message re-transmission attack, and race-condition attack. In order to solve these security problems, this paper proposes a new 5G-AKA protocol with PUF technology, which is a physical unclonable function. The proposed PUF-based 5G-AKA improves the security vulnerabilities identified so far using the device-specific response for a specific challenge and hash function. This approach enables a strong white-list policy through the addition of inexpensive PUF circuits when utilizing 5G networks in areas where security is critical. In addition, since additional cryptographic algorithms are not applied to existing protocols, there is relatively little burden on increasing computational costs or increasing authentication parameter storage.

The reinforcement learning algorithm has proven its potential in solving sequential decision-making problems under uncertainties, such as finding paths to route data packets in wireless sensor networks. With reinforcement learning, the computation of the optimum path requires careful definition of the so-called reward function, which is defined as a linear function that aggregates multiple objective functions into a single objective to compute a numerical value (reward) to be maximized. In a typical defined linear reward function, the multiple objectives to be optimized are integrated in the form of a weighted sum with fixed weighting factors for all learning agents. This study proposes a reinforcement learning -based routing protocol for wireless sensor network, where different learning agents prioritize different objective goals by assigning weighting factors to the aggregated objectives of the reward function. We assign appropriate weighting factors to the objectives in the reward function of a sensor node according to its hop-count distance to the sink node. We expect this approach to enhance the effectiveness of multi-objective reinforcement learning for wireless sensor networks with a balanced trade-off among competing parameters. Furthermore, we propose SDN (Software Defined Networks) architecture with multiple controllers for constant network monitoring to allow learning agents to adapt according to the dynamics of the network conditions. Simulation results show that our proposed scheme enhances the performance of wireless sensor network under varied conditions, such as the node density and traffic intensity, with a good trade-off among competing performance metrics.
In December 2014, Livestock and Livestock Products Traceability Act was established, allowing consumers to receive livestock traceability information. While the Livestock Traceability System provides consumers with transparent and fair information about their food, it has brought increased workload and penalty burdens to stakeholders in the livestock industry. In this paper, we propose an IoT system for inventory management based on traceability numbers to enable sellers to conveniently provide livestock traceability information to consumers. We analyzed the protocol for managing data from electronic scales and conducted functional testing and verification on mobile devices. Furthermore, we implemented the design and system functionality, taking into account UI/UX on Android OS-based devices to synchronize and interconnect traceability and product information with electronic scales. We anticipate that the proposed approach will minimize user inconvenience and raise production efficiency in the existing market.

Purpose: Prosthetic joint infection (PJI) has an enormous physiological and psychological burden on patients. Surgeons rightly wish to minimise this risk. It has been shown that a standardised, evidence-based approach to perioperative care leads to better patient outcomes. A review of current practice was conducted using a cross-sectional survey among surgeons at multiple centers nationwide. Materials and Methods: An 11-question electronic survey was circulated to hip and knee arthroplasty consultants nationally via the BOA (British Orthopaedic Association) e-newsletter. Results: The respondents included 56 consultants working across 19 different trusts. Thirty-four (60.7%) screen patients for asymptomatic bacteriuria (ASB) preoperatively, with 19 (55.9%) would treating with antibiotics. Fifty-six (100%) screen for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and treat if positive. Only 15 (26.8%) screen for methicillin-sensitive S. aureus (MSSA) or empirically eradicate. Zero (0%) routinely catheterize patients perioperatively. Forty-one (73.2%) would give intramuscular or intravenous gentamicin for a perioperative catheterisation. All surgeons use laminar flow theatres. Twenty-six (46.4%) use only an impervious gown, 6 (10.7%) exhaust pipes, and 24 (42.3%) surgical helmet system. Five different antimicrobial prophylaxis regimens are used 9 (16.1%) cefuroxime, 2 (3.6%) flucloxacillin, 19 (33.9%) flucloxacillin and gentamicin, 10 (17.9%) teicoplanin, 16 (28.6%) teicoplanin and gentamicin. Twenty-two (39.3%) routinely give further doses. Conclusion: ASB screening, treatment and intramuscular gentamicin for perioperative catheterisation is routinely practiced despite no supporting evidence base. MSSA screening and treatment is underutilised. Multiple antibiotic regimens exist despite little variation in organisms in PJI. Practice varies between surgeons and centers, we should all be practicing evidence-based medicine.

The Clustering technology of Energy efficiency wireless sensor network gets the energy efficiency by reducing the number of communication between sensor nodes and sink node. In this paper, First analyzed on the clustering technique of the distributed clustering protocol routing scheme LEACH (Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy) and HEED (Hybrid, Energy-Efficient Distributed Clustering Approach), and based on this, new energy-efficient clustering technique is proposed for the cause the maximum delay of dead nodes and to increase the lifetime of the network. In the proposed method, the cluster head is elect the optimal efficiency node based on the residual energy information of each member node and located information between sink node and cluster node, and elected a node in the cluster head since the data transfer process from the data been sent to the sink node to form a network by sending the energy consumption of individual nodes evenly to increase the network's entire life is the purpose of this study. To verify the performance of the proposed method through simulation and compared with existing clustering techniques. As a result, compared to the existing method of the network life cycle is approximately 5-10% improvement could be confirmed.
Introduction : Oral motor function is basic function of sensory exploration, feeding, and communication, that develops from the fetal stage to childhood. Problems with oral motor function result in difficulty within handling food in the oral cavity, decreased swallowing and feeding skills, difficulty with communication, and problems with oral hygiene. To treat these symptoms, oral motor therapy is provided for normalizing sensory adaptation in the oral cavity, and increasing postural control, oral movement and oral motor function. Discussion : The oral motor facilitation technique (OMFT) was developed for increasing general and integrated oral motor function based on the following: 1) understanding orofacial muscular physiology; 2) a comprehensive approach to sensory·adaptation·behavior·cognition; 3) sensorimotor stimulation by a manual approach; 4) motor control and motor learning theory. The OMFT is a new evidence-based treatment protocol, for children and adults with neuromuscular and oral motor problems. Conclusion : The goal of this article is to provide a theoretical background for OMFT development and the basic concept for the clinical application of OMFT. We hope that this article will help oral motor therapy experts to provide effective therapy in a more professional way.
Mobile Ad hoc NETworks (MANET) consist of mobile nodes which are usually powered by battery Approaches for minimizing power consumption have been proposed for all network layers and devices. IEEE 802.11 DCF (Distributed Coordination Function), a well-known medium access control protocol for MANETS, also defines a power save mode operation. The nodes in power save mode periodically repeat the awake state and the doze state in synchronized fashion. When all nodes are in the awake state, the exchange the announcements for the subsequent message transmission with neighbors. The nodes that send or receive the announcements stay awake for data transmission, and others go into the dole state. The previous works for enhancing the power save mode operation have focused on shortening the duration of the awake state. We observed that the longer sleeping period results in seriously long delivery latency and the consequent unnecessary power consumption as well, because the packets can move forward only one hop for a fixed interval. In this paper, we propose an improved protocol for the power save mode of IEEE 802.11 DCF, which allows the flooding packets to be forwarded several hops in a transmission period. Our approach does not reduce the duration of compulsory awake period, but maximizes its utilization. Each node propagates the announcements for next flooding to nodes of several hops away, thus the packets can travel multiple hops during one interval. Simulation results of comparison between our scheme and the standard show a reduction in flooding delay maximum 80%, and the unicasting latency with accompanying flooding flows near 50%, with slight increase of energy consumption.
As a part of efforts to reduce the global emissions of greenhouse gases, the Kyoto Protocol was signed by major developed countries ("Annex I" countries). According to the Kyoto protocol, the Emission Trading Scheme that derives a trading market of the $CO_2$ emission rights is appeared. It causes that business institutions give lots of efforts to reduce $CO_2$ by using new environmentally sound technologies or increasing efficiency in production. On the while there have been several studies trying to develop a methodology to measure the effect of $CO_2$ reduction and its monetary value. In this research we suggest ECRE (Evaluation of $CO_2$ Reduction in E-transformation) model which can measure the $CO_2$ reduction effect through the introduction of G2B system. ECRC model was developed based on the IPCC methodology. ECRC model measures the two major effects of the $CO_2$ reduction which are '$CO_2$ reduction effect from transportation' and '$CO_2$ reduction effect from the decrease of paper use'. In this paper, we calculate the economic effect of $CO_2$ reduction with the case of the G2B system in Korea. This research suggests a basic methodology to measure the $CO_2$ reduction performance for the e-transformed institution.
