  • The purpose of this study is to investigate awareness of librarian's job prospects, and to do this a survey was conducted with 502 college students in 14 Departments of Library and Information Science around Korea and 753 librarians in libraries and related agencies. The study results are as follows. First, satisfaction with educational curriculum was higher in students than librarians. Second, both students and librarians regarded workplace based practical training as employment requirements and also evaluated certifications and academic performance as important requirements. Third, both groups asked that information on employment rates be available in a timely manner, and perceived that the librarian's job prospects were not bright. Therefore, in order to improve employment of librarians, it will be necessary to establish a job information system, reorganize the current educational curriculum into a practice-oriented curriculum, and introduce the national curriculum statements (NCS)-based curriculum.

  • This study analyzes life experiences and prospects of poverty/welfare exit of the poor with work ability utilizing Mixed methodology. Based on Sequential Exploratory Design, it qualitatively analyzes 3 waves of qualitative panel data linked to Korea Welfare Panel Study(KWPS) and presents life changes of 14 poor in the context of their prospects of welfare/poverty exit. Then it proposes hypotheses on the role of education, household economy expectation, self-esteem in the prospects of poverty/welfare exit following the sequential exploratory design to quantitatively test qualitative findings utilizing KWPS(7th). The outcomes of the Structural Equation Model(SEM) suggest that household economy expectation plays mediating role between education and the prospects of welfare/poverty exit. This implies that anti-poverty policy needs to consider a psychological approach to enhance household economy expectations of the poor as well as other material support.

  • This descriptive convergence research is to get basic data for educational program by investigating awareness on pediatric nurses and nursing prospects after pediatric clinical practicum among 143 junior nursing students. Using SPSS/Win 21.0, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression were carried out. The awareness of subjects on pediatric nurses was $4.09{\pm}0.61$ on a scale of 5, which was higher than the traditional and social ones, and nursing prospects' was $3.31{\pm}0.65$ on a scale of 5. There're significant differences partially in awareness on pediatric nurses according to sex, age, satisfaction in nursing and practium hospitals. Awareness on nursing prospects of those who had average satisfaction in nursing was higher than others(p<.002). There was a positive correlation between subvaribles of awareness on pediatric nurses and nursing prospects(r=.287~.510, p<.01), Traditional and social awareness were the significant factors on nursing prospects in hierarchical multiple regression, and the explannation rate was 29.2%(p<.001). It's needed to raise awareness on nursing prospects by improving traditional and social awareness on pediatric nurses.

  • Although the number of venture start-ups has increased significantly, it is difficult to judge the success or failure based on short-term performance alone. The survival of a company cannot be guaranteed if it does not show sustainable growth prospects. As a growth factor for venture companies, the level of technology commercialization capability and competitive strategies are considered important. Recently, the emergence of innovative business models is creating new opportunities and driving the growth of numerous venture start-ups. This study tried to investigate the mediating effect of business model innovation in the relationship between technology commercialization capability, competitive strategy and the growth prospects of venture companies. For this, empirical analysis was conducted using the original data of the Research on the Precision Status of Venture Firms 2021. As a result, production, manufacturing, marketing capability, cost leadership and product differentiation had a positive(+) effect on growth prospects. The mediating effect of business model innovation between all factors except for manufacturing capacity and growth prospects was verified. This study expanded the scope of research by shedding new light on the factors influencing the long-term growth prospects of venture companies and revealing business model innovation as a new mediating variable. In future research, it is necessary to develop an objective measurement tool and to identify differences according to industrial characteristics.
