To the best of our knowledge, there is no method, in the literature, to find the fuzzy optimal solution of fully fuzzy shortest path (FFSP) problems i.e., shortest path (SP) problems in which all the parameters are represented by fuzzy numbers. In this paper, a new method is proposed to find the fuzzy optimal solution of FFSP problems. Kumar and Kaur [Methods for solving unbalanced fuzzy transportation problems, Operational Research-An International Journal, 2010 (DOI 10.1007/s 12351-010-0101-3)] proposed a new method with new representation, named as JMD representation, of trapezoidal fuzzy numbers for solving fully fuzzy transportation problems and shown that it is better to solve fully fuzzy transportation problems by using proposed method with JMD representation as compare to proposed method with the existing representation. On the same direction in this paper a new method is proposed to find the solution of FFSP problems and it is shown that it is also better to solve FFSP problems with JMD representation as compare to existing representation. To show the advantages of proposed method with this representation over proposed method with other existing representations. A FFSP problem solved by using proposed method with JMD representation as well as proposed method with other existing representations and the obtained results are compared.
This paper briefly describes the new engineering method, called the enhanced reference stress method, to estimate J (or $C^*$) for non-linear fracture mechanics analysis of defective components, recently proposed by authors. The proposed method offers significant advantages over existing methods in terms of its accuracy, simplicity and robustness. Examples of application of the proposed method to typical piping integrity problems such as through-wall cracked pipes under combined loading, and surface cracked pipes under internal pressure and bending are given. Excellent agreements between the FE J and $C^*$ results and those of the proposed method provide sufficient confidence in the use of the proposed method. One notable point is that the proposed method can be used to estimate J (or $C^*$) along the crack front of surface cracks. Moreover simplicity of the proposed method makes it easy to extend to more complex problems. Thus the proposed method is attractive to assess the significance of defects under practical situations.

In this paper, we present an agent-based transportation routing method in a semi-conductor production line. The main characteristic of the proposed method is that each AGV agent individually searches candidates of its route with reference of the pheromone information based on the use of an analogy of Ant System. The proposed method is applied to several routing problems. The performances of the proposed method are compared with those of a Genetic Algorithm. The effectiveness of the proposed method is conrmed by many numerical examples. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method for an actual problem, the proposed method is applied to a dynamic motion planning. The proposed method ...
In this paper, the new M/T method for motor speed detection is proposed. This method can be able to reduce the dead time compared with it when Ohmae's M/T method is implemented. And the comparsion of the dead time length between the Ohmae's method and the proposed method is analyzed quantitatively. Actually we implemented the new proposed M/T method using the hardware and software and verified the effectiveness of the proposed M/T method.
A hybrid optimization method is proposed for cogging torque reducing in BLDC motor. The proposed hybrid optimization method comprises a response surface method (RSM) and a gradient search method (GSM). The RSM is effective and global method in optimization problem but having large approximation error. The GSM is accurate and fast search method for optimal solution but having local behavior. To reduce approximation error and computation time a hybrid method (RSM+GSM) is proposed method. To illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, a comparison between conventional RSM and the proposed hybrid method is made. A simulation results verify that the hybrid method can achieve favorable design performance.
This paper proposes a method to estimate directly the incoherent scattered intensity and radar cross section (RCS) from the effective permittivity of a random media. The proposed method is derived from the original concept of incoherent scattering. The incoherent scattered field is expressed as a simple formula. Therefore, to reduce computation time, the proposed method can estimate the incoherent scattered intensity and RCS of a random media. To verify the potential of the proposed method for the desired applications, we conducted a Monte-Carlo analysis using the method of moments; we characterized the accuracy of the proposed method using the normalized mean square error (NMSE). In addition, several medium parameters, such as the density of scatterers and analysis volume, were studied to understand their effect on the scattering characteristics of a random media. The results of the Monte-Carlo analysis show good agreement with those of the proposed method, and the NMSE values of the proposed method and Monte-Carlo analysis are relatively small at less than 0.05.

In this paper we proposed a new map construction and path planning method for mobile robot. In our proposed method first we introduced triangular representation map that mobile robot can navigate through shorter path and flexible motion instead of grid representation map for mobile robot navigation. method in which robot can navigate complete space through as short path as possible in unknown environment is proposed. Finally we proposed new path planning method in a quadtree representation map. To evaluate the performance of our proposed new path planning method in a quadtree representation map. To evaluate the performance of our proposed triangular representation map it was compared with the existing distance transform path planning method. And we considered complete coverage navigation and new path planning method through several examples.

A new earthquake design method performing iterative calculations using secant stiffness was developed. The proposed design method has the advantages of convenience and stability in numerical analysis because it uses elastic analysis. At the same time, the proposed design method can accurately estimate the strength and ductility demands on the members because it performs the analysis on the inelastic behavior of structure using iterative calculation. In the present study, the procedure of the proposed design method was established, and a computer program incorporating the proposed method was developed. Design examples using the proposed method were presented, and its advantages were presented by the comparisons with existing design methods using elastic or inelastic analysis. The proposed design method, as an integrated method of analysis and design, can address the earthquake design strategy devised by the engineer, such as ductility limit on each member, the design concept of strong column - weak beam, and etc. Through iterative calculations on the structure preliminarily designed only with member sizing, the strength and ductility demands of each member can be directly calculated so as to satisfy the given design strategy As the result economical and safe design can be achieved.

Modified version of subspace iteration method using accelerated starting vectors is proposed to efficiently calculate free vibration modes of structures. Proposed method employs accelerated Lanczos starting vectors that can reduce the number of iterations in the subspace iteration method. Proposed method is more efficient than the conventional method when the number of required modes is relatively small. To verify the efficiency of proposed method, two numerical examples are presented.

In this research, a bit correction technique of data hiding method in timestamp of MFT entry in NTFS file system is proposed. This method is proposed in two ways, depending on the number of bytes of data to hide. A basic data hiding method using a bit correction technique to solve the problems of the conventional 2-byte technique is proposed. In order to increase the capacity of the data, a 3-byte data hiding method using an extended bit correction technique is proposed. The data hiding method in the timestamps is based on the fact that is not revealed in the Windows explorer window and the command prompt window even if any data is hidden in the timestamp area of less than one second. It is shown that the validity of the proposed method through the experimental two cases of the basic data hiding method by the bit correction method and the 3-byte data hiding method by the extended bit correction method.
