Al합금과 Ti합금의 방탄특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Characters of Bullet Proof for Al and Ti Alloy)

  • In order to investigate the characteristics of penatration and the effect of surface treatment in A15052-H34, Al5082-Hl31 and titanium alloy laminates which were treated by anodizing and PVD(Physical Vapor Desposition) method, ballistic tests were conducted. Thickness of surface membrane in A15052-H34, Al5082-Hl31, were $25{\mu}m$ and that of titanium $0.9{\mu}m$ respectively. Surface hardness test was conducted using micro Vicker's hardness tester. Resistance to penetration is determined by the protection ballistic limit(V50), a statistical velocity with $50\%$ probability for complete penetration. Fracture behaviors and ballistic tolerance, described by penetration modes, are observed from the results of V50 test and Projectile Through Plate(PTP) test at velocities greater than protection ballistic limit, respectively. Present experimental results derived from this research help to optimize laminate impact behavior by varing the laminate thickness and surface treated materials.

  • The advantages of solar energy are that it is renewable, infinite supplied and environmentally safe energy source. However, solar energy related products have the problems such as the limitation for installation, problems in maintenance and insufficient reliability which have been the barrier to consumers to satisfy the purchase need for solar heat related products. In this regard, in order to support the solar energy related companies the necessity for various technical information required for the commercialization of new products such as various performance test necessary for the certification of solar energy system, standardization for facilities and products, performance evaluation method and the measurement of performance is suggested. The purpose of this paper is to design the monitoring system for positive tests of system linked household hot water system using solar heat out of various solar energy systems, to establish an analysis and monitoring system for performance maintenance and operation technique, and to configure the centralized detection network by utilizing remote monitoring system. This research also aims at conducting monitoring for operation and performance evaluation in relation to database establishment and analytical evaluation and at describing the method of enhancing the reliability of solar energy system through the development of performance evaluation program.

  • 자율주행 기술이 발전함에 따라 차량에 탑재되는 외부접점 센서의 수가 증가하고 있으며 특히 차량용 초음파 센서는 버스 토폴로지 형태로서 LIN 프로토콜을 사용하여 연결되며 주변을 감지하고 상태 메시지를 전송하여 차량 내부 네트워크에 접근한다. LIN은 프로토콜의 보안성이 검증되지 않아 공격에 취약하기 때문에 안전성을 평가하기 위한 테스트가 필요하지만, 물리적인 제약으로 인해 실제 차량을 이용한 분석에 한계가 있으며 이를 위한 테스트 환경이 부족하기 때문에 테스트에 어려움이 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 LIN 프로토콜 분석 및 테스트를 위해 CAN과의 연동 분석이 가능한 테스트베드를 개발하고 초음파 센서를 이용하여 그 효용성을 검증하였다.

한국형 기동헬기 꼬리 날개 디페인팅 현상을 통한 도장 품질 향상에 관한 연구 (A study on improvement of painting quality through a de-painting phenomenon of KUH-1 tail blade)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explain de-painting phenomenon of KUH-1 tail blade and to propose useful solution of it by test. The proposed solution was evaluated by real flight, and then it applied to mass product to improve the paint qual ity of KUH-1 tail blade. Methods: This study investigated an adhesive ability of primer following surface sanding condition. The cross cut and scratch test were conducted to evaluate the adhesive strength. And the water flow test was designed to simulate a real flight condition under rain. Through water flow test, an optimal condition of tail blade to prevent a de-painting phenomenon was deduced. Finally, the improvement method was evaluated by real flight under rain. Results: The results of this study are as follows; The sequential polishing was most excellent method in primer painting quality. The results of test including cross cut, scratch and water flow showed that MIL-DTL-53039 paint with epoxy primer has excellent adhesive ability. To proof the effect of improvement, a real flight during a rain condition was conducted. Finally, the comparison between original and improved configuration was conducted. Conclusion: The painting quality of KUH-1 tail blade was improved through deriving an optimal painting condition. In detail, a condition of optimal sanding and a sort of primer and paint was showed. Finally, the reliability of tail blade was guaranteed through improving the quality of painting.

필라멘트와인딩된 복합재 내열튜브의 구조 성능 평가 (Evaluation of Structural Performance for Filament Wound Composite Ablative Tubes)

  • 본 연구에서는 내열 특성과 구조적인 특성을 갖는 탄소섬유/페놀릭 복합재 내열튜브를 필라멘트와인딩 공법에 의해 제작하고 이들의 구조적인 성능을 평가하였다. 이를 위해 내열튜브의 제작방법을 소개하고 황산용해법을 적용하여 내열튜브에서의 섬유체적비와 기공함유율을 측정하였다. 시편폭을 달리한 인장시편의 기계적 특성을 평가함으로써 강화섬유의 연속성을 나타낼 수 있는 시편형상을 제시하였으며 공정변수를 달리한 내열튜브에서 채취된 인장시편의 기계적 특성을 평가함으로써 내열튜브의 제작을 위한 적절한 공정조건을 결정하였다. 그리고 보증시험을 통해 수집한 음향신호의 분석을 통해 내열튜브에서의 균열진전과 파손양상을 조사하였다. 마지막으로 내열튜브 자체에 대해 보증시험과 파열시험을 수행함으로써 내열튜브 자체의 구조적인 신뢰성을 확인하였다.

Properties of experimental copper-aluminium-nickel alloys for dental post-and-core applications

  • PURPOSE. This study aimed to develop a copper-aluminium-nickel alloy which has properties comparable to that of dental alloys used for dental post and core applications with the reasonable cost. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Sixteen groups of experimental copper alloys with variants of 3, 6, 9, 12 wt% Al and 0, 2, 4, 6 wt% Ni were prepared and casted. Their properties were tested and evaluated. The data of thermal, physical, and mechanical properties were analyzed using the two-way ANOVA and Tukey's test (${\alpha}$=0.05). The alloy toxicity was evaluated according to the ISO standard. RESULTS. The solidus and liquidus points of experimental alloys ranged from $1023^{\circ}C$ to $1113^{\circ}C$ and increased as the nickel content increased. The highest ultimate tensile strength ($595.9{\pm}14.2$ MPa) was shown in the Cu-12Al-4Ni alloy. The tensile strength was increased as the both elements increased. Alloys with 3-6 wt% Al exhibited a small amount of 0.2% proof strength. Accordingly, the Cu-9Al-2Ni and Cu-9Al-4Ni alloys not only demonstrated an appropriate modulus of elasticity ($113.9{\pm}8.0$ and $122.8{\pm}11.3$ GPa, respectively), but also had a value of 0.2% proof strength ($190.8{\pm}4.8$ and $198.2{\pm}3.4$ MPa, respectively), which complied with the ISO standard requirement (>180 MPa). Alloys with the highest contents of nickel (6 wt% Ni) revealed a widespread decolourisation zone (5.0-5.9 mm), which correspondingly produced the largest cell response, equating positive control. CONCLUSION. The copper alloys fused with 9 wt% Al and 2-4 wt% Ni can be considered for a potential use as dental post and core applications.

화약류 간이저장소의 우발적 폭발을 고려한 안전설계 방법 연구 (Methodology Study of Design Related to Accidental Explosion of Simple Explosive Storage Facility)

  • 화약류 간이저장소에 대한 현재의 규정이 적정한지를 검토할 목적으로 내부 폭발이 표준적인 저장소의 구조적 안정성에 미치는 영향을 FEM 해석과 현장 실험을 통해 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 에멀젼 계열 폭약 15 kg에 대한 기존 저장소 구조물의 방폭 성능이 충분하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 여기에 대한 하나의 대안으로서 폭약을 분할하는 방법을 상정하고 순폭실험을 수행하였다. 실험을 수행한 결과, 폭약을 분할하는 방법이 예상대로 잘 작동하는 것을 확인하였으며, 시험 결과에 근거하여 적정한 분할 폭약량도 결정하였다. 또한, 저장소 구조물 상부를 개방하는 방법을 시험한 결과, 폭발압력이 신속하게 배출되어 구조물 손상이 크게 저감되는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 구조물 형태는 화약류 간이저장소에 대한 새로운 설계기준으로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

흡습제 투입량에 따른 포장용기의 투습도 시험 방법 고찰 (Study on the Testing Method for Moisture Permeability of Packaging Containers according to the Amount of Desiccant)

  • 저장성능이 중요하게 인식되는 탄약분야에 있어서 포장용기의 방습성능은 크게 강조되어 왔다. 탄약분야에서는 주로 다중 적층구조를 갖는 지환통이 포장용기로 사용되고 있는데, 이는 다양한 역할을 하는 재료를 적층하여 만들어진다. 이러한 포장용기는 주로 한국산업규격 KS T 1314에 따라 방습성능을 평가하게 되며, 내부에 투입된 흡습제의 무게 변화에 대하여 선형 회귀분석을 통하여 투습도가 결정된다. 본 연구에서는 흡습제 투입량이 포장용기의 투습도 시험 결과에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 탄약 포장용기로 사용되는 지환통의 평가 시, 사용되는 흡습제의 양은 내부 용적의 약 70 % 이상이 타당한 것으로 판단된다.

Design of Integrated Management System for Electronic Library Based on SaaS and Web Standard

  • Management systems for electronic library have been developed on the basis of Client/Server or ASP framework in domestic market for a long time. Therefore, both service provider and user suffer from their high cost and effort in management, maintenance, and repairing of software as well as hardware. Recently in addition, mobile devices like smartphone and tablet PC are frequently used as terminal devices to access computers through the Internet or other networks, sophisticatedly customized or personalized interface for n-screen service became more important issue these days. In this paper, we propose a new scheme of integrated management system for electronic library based on SaaS and Web Standard. We design and implement the proposed scheme applying Electronic Cabinet Guidelines for Web Standard and Universal Code System. Hosted application management style and software on demand style service models based on SaaS are basically applied to develop the management system. Moreover, a newly improved concept of duplication check algorithm in a hierarchical evaluation process is presented and a personalized interface based on web standard is applied to implement the system. Algorithms of duplication check for journal, volume/number, and paper are hierarchically presented with their logic flows. Total framework of our development obeys the standard feature of Electronic Cabinet Guidelines offered by Korea government so that we can accomplish standard of application software, quality improvement of total software, and reusability extension. Scope of our development includes core services of library automation system such as acquisition, list-up, loan-and-return, and their related services. We focus on interoperation compatibility between elementary sub-systems throughout complex network and structural features. Reanalyzing and standardizing each part of the system under the concept on the cloud of service, we construct an integrated development environment for generating, test, operation, and maintenance. Finally, performance analyses are performed about resource usability of server, memory amount used, and response time of server etc. As a result of measurements fulfilled over 5 times at different test points and using different data, the average response time is about 62.9 seconds for 100 clients, which takes about 0.629 seconds per client on the average. We can expect this result makes it possible to operate the system in real-time level proof. Resource usability and memory occupation are also good and moderate comparing to the conventional systems. As total verification tests, we present a simple proof to obey Electronic Cabinet Guidelines and a record of TTA authentication test for topics about SaaS maturity, performance, and application program features.

화물열차 공기제동 완해불량 방지 밸브의 내구성 평가 (Durability Evaluation on the Air-Braking Release Failure Proof Valve of Cargo Train)

  • 화차 제동은 공기 제동관의 압력변화를 이용해 제동 체결과 완해를 반복적으로 작동하여 수행한다. 화차 공기 제동 완해 불량은 기관사의 제동완해 취급 후에 제동 제어밸브의 오작동으로 인해 부분적인 제동체결상태를 의미한다. 이 현상은 화차 주행 동안 차륜 찰상과 열손상을 발생시킴으로서, 차륜파손 또는 열차 탈선사고를 일으킨다. 따라서 화차의 운행 지연 및 사고방지를 위해서는 공기제동 완해불량을 방지하는 체계적인 연구가 중요하다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 철도운영기관의 제작과 기능요구사항을 고려하여 완해불량 방지밸브를 개발하였다. 또한 본 밸브의 내구성 시험은 화차제동성능 시뮬레이터 성능시험기를 이용하였으며, 이의 작동성능은 반복적인 제동과 완해불량 조건하에 공압이력으로부터 평가하였다. 본 밸브의 보증수명은 화차 주행동안 제동횟수를 고려하여 무고장 시험기법에 준하여 12개 시제품에 대하여 총 16만회 성능시험을 수행하였다. 내구성 시험동안 본 밸브의 공압 입력 시간과 출력시간 및 출력속도의 차이는 거의 일정하였다. 본 밸브의 보증수명은 신뢰수준 95%에서 59,860회이며, 화차 대차에 본 밸브를 설치할 경우에 요구조건인 4년간 고장없이 운용될 수 있음을 의미한다.
