A Study of Role Awareness, Role Conflict and Job Satisfaction for Hospital-based Home Care Nurses (병원중심 가정전문간호사의 역할인식, 역할갈등 및 직무만족)

  • Purpose: This study is a descriptive research conducted for looking into the role awareness level. role conflicts, and job satisfaction among professional home care nurses in the field of hospital based home care nursing service. Method: 154 specialized home care nurses in 63 hospitals and clinics that are implementing home care programs were subject to the study. Result: 1. The level of role awareness among professional home care nurses was $4.47\pm0.41$ on average out of 5. 2. The average score for role conflicts was $3.87\pm0.61$ out of 5. 3. In terms of job satisfaction level. $3.33\pm0.71$ was scored out of 5. 4. It has been discovered that there are statistically significant positive correlations among role awareness level, role conflicts(r= .224, P= .005), and job satisfaction level(r= .166, P=.040), while a negative correlation was detected between role conflicts and job satisfaction level(r=-.210, P= .009). Conclusion: The level of role awareness among professional home care nurses in the field of hospital based home care nursing service was very high and job satisfaction level was high when the level of home care nursing antecedents was high and the organization structure of working place was independent. But the level of role conflicts coming out of the weakness of job-supporting system was high. So the realistic alternative such as the improvement of working environment by administrative, institutional support, is required to make up for this problem in the future.

A study of current awareness and preference on Korean professional baseball team's promotion for products (프로야구의 상품마케팅에 대한 인식 및 선호도 조사)

  • The main purpose of this study was to identify the current awareness and preference on the promotions of products in Korean professional baseball teams. For this study, the subjects were randomly selected where they have experienced purchasing any products in the Korean professional baseball stadium. Totally, 520 subjects were asked to answer the questionnaire relevant to the current awareness and preference of promotion of products. There were 11 questions for the current awareness and 14 questions for the preference on the promotion of products. The data gathered was determined within a frequency analysis, an independent sample T-test and one-way ANOVA tests. The results were discussed when the p-value were lest than .05. There were a couple of results found throughout this study. Firstly, there were no significant differences of the current awareness between gender. Secondly, there were significant differences of the preference on the promotion between age(p<.05). Especially, there were significant differences on the value of products and price between 20's, 30's and 40's groups. Thirdly, there were significant differences of the preference on the promotion between level of earing per year statistically(p<.05). In addition, there were significant differences on the price of products between 2000-2500 million won, 2500-3000 million won and 4000 million won groups. Consequently, the product promotion by the Korean professional baseball teams has to be more variety and structured.

Disaster safety education and safety awareness of high school students after the Sewol ferry incident (세월호 사고 후 고등학생의 재난안전교육 및 안전의식에 대한 연구)

  • Purpose: To investigate disaster safety education and the safety awareness of Korean high school students following the Sewol ferry incident. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 1022 high school students in Korea from September 7 to 26, 2015. The questionnaire comprised questions pertaining to the general characteristics of the subjects, disaster safety education, and safety awareness, which were measured on a four-point Likert. Results: The majority of the students recognized the necessity of disaster safety education ($3.12{\pm}0.61$); however, most did not know where safety devices were located. After the Sewol ferry incident, awareness of disaster safety education was $2.11{\pm}0.64$, and the necessity of education was relatively low. More than half the students (53.5%) responded that disaster safety education must be conducted in professional education facilities. Conclusion: It is important to develop and implement regular disaster safety education for high school students in professional education facilities.

Research on the Oral Health Professional's Awareness of the Dental Health Insurance Standard (치과종사자의 치과건강보험 산정기준에 대한 인지도 조사)

  • Purpose. This research is implemented to identify the status of educations about the pricing standard, status of the cognition of the pricing standard, and the solutions to the questions on the pricing standard of the oral health professionals. it will provide the easier accessibility to the annual changes in Dental Health Insurance Standards to the oral health professionals. Methods. The research subjects are the total 204 oral health professionals in limited area, and it was analyzed with structured questionnaires. The collected data is analyzed by IBM SPSS ver. 19.0, a statistical program (IBM Co., Armonk, NY, USA) for the frequency and percentage, and ANOVA. The result is as following Results. The awareness of dental health insurance standard was statistically significant differences by age (p<0.01), career (p<0.001), the prime task (p<0.01), and dental insurance claimants (p<0.05). The awareness of the standard was statistically significant differences by educational training within last 6 months (p<0.05), the cognition of the standard (p<0.001), and solutions for the questions (p<0.05). Conclusions. As the results of the research, it is necessary to develop the educational program under condition of age, career, main task, and better understanding in Dental Health Insurance Standard for oral health professional.

Effects of school-based depression awareness education program for adolescent (학교를 기반으로 한 청소년 우울증 인식개선교육 프로그램의 효과)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to evaluate the impact of a School-based Depression Awareness Education Program on depression knowledge and help-seeking orientation for adolescent. Methods: The students of two high schools were allocated to the intervention (n=221) or control group (n=223) in this cluster-randomized trial. The school-based depression awareness education was a 3-hour program. The intervention group received pre, post and follow up tests while the control group received pre and follow up tests after two months. Depression knowledge, attitude to friends'depression, and help-seeking for professional assistance was evaluated at each test. Differences in the two month change between the intervention and control groups were analyzed by t-test or chi-square test. Results: There were positive changes in depression knowledge, response to friend's depression, and attitude to professional help-seeking in the post test compared to the pretest among intervention group. Improvement of depression knowledge was greater in the intervention group than in the control group (P=0.011), but there were no significant differences in response to friend's depression (P=0.268) or help-seeking orientation (P=0.263) after two months. Conclusions: School-based Depression Awareness Education resulted in significant positive changes in depression knowledge in high school students, but made no attitudes difference to professional help-seeking.

  • This research was analyzed on domestic and international damages and school facility's damages caused by earthquakes. Also, the awareness of earthquake prevention was investigated and basic results for preparing earthquake prevention measures were suggested for high school students living in school facilities at length.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest planning direction to Co-housing as alternative house. The questionnaire survey is used. The subjects of questionnaire are professional having concerned with architectural, housing, city plan and environment. The results of the study are summarized as follow : It is necessary to connect with neighbors in Co-housing. It is important to make membership and member's will for community. Co-housing as a housing alternative is essential residents' participation. In terms of life in community, eating together, childrencare and residents' autonomy activity are very important. Finally, it is proper to locate suburb and city. The size under 50 units is proper. In terms of housing type, the low apartment housing is proper.

Exploring the Genres and Cast Portions' Influences on Broadcasting Entertainers' Professional Consciousness and Program Awareness (장르와 배역 크기에 따른 방송 연예인의 직업의식과 프로그램 의식 고찰)

  • This study examines popular entertainers' professionalism with division of genres and cast portions. While genres can be divided into TV drama and variety show, cast portion into leading, supporting, and minor role. Entertainers' thought is categorized into their professional consciousness and their program awareness. By this division and categorization, this study grasps concretely how genres and cast portions affect entertainers' ideas. We conducted a survey on one hundred entertainers in TV dramas and variety shows and have analyzed data by using n-way ANOVA. This study also conducted in-depth interview as a research method by which we intended to enhance validity of the result. The results provide that genres and cast portions affected on entertainers' professional consciousness and their program awareness. In terms of professional consciousness, significant result was drawn on thoughts of discrimination, community, vocation, and satisfaction. In terms of their program awareness, affection, accountability, ownership, and anxiety consciousness were significant. With this result, this study provides implications both theoretical aspect and practical aspect. On theoretical aspect, this study broadens celebrity studies beyond star studies, and attempts to categorize entertainers theoretically. On practical aspect, it provides reconsideration on broadcasting condition, and suggests solving the problem of gap among entertainers.

  • This study analyzed the effects of professional baseball PPL advertising speed on brand awareness, brand attitude, and behavioral intention for professional baseball consumers. The purpose of this study is to present a method that can be used as a variety of marketing utilization strategies of professional baseball teams and parent companies. This study was conducted on 411 professional baseball consumers. For data processing, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed using SPSS 25.0 Window Version. Then, the average variance extraction index (AVE) and construct validity (CR) were calculated to verify convergent validity and discriminant validity. In addition, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was performed using AMOS 25.0. As a result, first, it was found that entertainment, informativeness, and discomfort, which are sub-factors of PPL advertisement speed, have a significant effect on brand recognition. Second, entertainment, information, and discomfort, which are sub-factors of PPL advertising speed, have a significant effect on brand attitude. Third, entertainment, informativeness, and discomfort, which are sub-factors of PPL advertisement speed, have a significant effect on behavioral intention. Fourth, it was found that brand awareness and brand attitude have a significant effect on behavioral intention.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of consulting firm's professional consulting satisfaction on consulting satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of consulting firm's brand awareness on consulting satisfaction. The results of this study suggest that consulting firms that have expertise in the field have a positive effect on the satisfaction of consulting and that the higher the brand awareness, the higher the consulting satisfaction. The better the brand awareness, the higher the reliability and the positive impact on the satisfaction of consulting, and the consulting firm including consultant suggests to improve the professional competence in the field.
