The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the satisfaction and absorption of spectating on desire of re-spectating at the professional sporting events. This study set a model of consumer behavior decision based on the results of the precedent studies about the determinative factors of consumer behavior and the hypothetical model done by Wakefield ＆ Sloan(1995), Hansen ＆ Gauthier(1989), Jeffrey(1997), Green(1995), and Kim(1999) and clarified it through the regression. To attain the goal of the study described above paragraphs, some viewers of 2007 season pro-soccer and pro-baseball games were set as a collected group. Then, using the stratified cluster random sampling method, finally drew out and analyzed 605 spectators in total. Data collected through a questionnaire designed for this study consist of fixed alternative choice response to items constructed to represent the operational definition for each variable. Statistics employed for data analysis was correlation and multiple regression. Based upon the results of the study, the following conclusions appear warranted: 1. Satisfaction of spectating influence on desire of re-spectating at the professional sporting events. 2. Satisfaction of absorption influence on desire of re-spectating at the professional sporting events.

This paper is mainly interested in customer's(fan's) royalty to professional sports in sports industry. The royalty is studied with the royalty to several products and a service, so that we can obtain the comparison between both the former and the latter royalty. Interested professional sports, products and service are baseball, basketball, soccer, beer, cu, cola/cider, etc, and we will call each of them 'item'. The seven related hypotheses are considered. In hypotheses the dependent variable is royalty to nine items, and the independent variables are rune items, and customer's sex and major. For testing hypotheses, a questionaire is used, and reliability is checked with Cronbach's Alpha and correlation coefficients. For some items the royalty is significantly strong. Rather, even if some item has bad quality, it is found that customers can be royal to that item. We can identify some of those items through the results of this study. The strong significant results will be useful for the customer management. Additional studies are required for nonsignificant results which seems to be useful, and they are noted in the final part of the paper.

Recently, the industry of private security needs to cope with system for specialization improvement to security business. Especially, private security will very important in various international events such as 2002 World Cup soccer game and so on. The analyses of this study have led to the following conclusions: First, the industry of private security must advance to trait by oneself. Second, it is needed that both public and private security must know about role-sharing between them on the basis of efficiency, and try to cooperate with each other for the events security. Third, it will educate and train their officials in professional techniques to events security. In addition, it should be expand to reserve manpower and for the motivation to security officials establish as minimum pay scale.

The purpose of this study was to analyze subculture of professional football supporters with a view of Bourdieu's Habitus theory. What sorts of mechanism were worked when supporters formed their Habitus. The methods adopted in the article was qualitative. The qualitative information on the nature of their fandom was gleaned from 'virtual participant observation' or 'interviewing' of professional football fans that participated in discussions on the internet and participant observation of professional fans. The intensity and criteria sampling method was used to select 6 supporters who had participated in the supporting activities for more than five years and played crucial roles in running their organization as officials. The textual analysis which is consisting of translation, coding, and processing was used to mean the identification and exegesis of contextualization cues that make a text meaningful to the professional football supporters. an intended audience. The findings of this study were that (1) the subculture variety of activities for players and coaching staffs were the fundamental factors when supporters formed their subculture. (2) the professional supporters became habitus through the progressively development of subcultures such as enthusiastic supporters, small meetings, and events relating to soccer players.

This paper seeks to better understand the focal issues and persons related to Rio Olympic soccer games through social data science and analytics. This study collected its data from online news articles and comments specific to KOR during the Olympic football games. In order to investigate the public interests for each game and target persons, this study performed the co-occurrence words analysis. Then after, the study applied the NodeXL software to perform its visualization of the results. Through this application and process, the study found several major issues during the Rio Olympic men's football game including the following: the match between KOR and PIJ, KOR player Heungmin Son, commentator Young-Pyo Lee, sportscaster Woo-Jong Jo. The study also showed the general public opinion expressed positive words towards the South Korean national football team during the Rio Olympics, though there existed negative words as well. Furthermore the study revealed positive attitude towards the commentators and casters. In conclusion, the way to increase the public's interest in big sporting events can be achieved by providing the following: contents that include various professional sports analysis, a capable domain expert with thorough preparation, a commentator and/or caster with artistic sense as well as well-spoken, explanatory power and so on. Multidisciplinary research combined with sports science, social science, information technology and media can contribute to a wide range of theoretical studies and practical developments within the sports industry.

Purpose: To investigate the risk exposure, risk of injury, and injury pattern of football players in seasonal variation. We purposed to expect the injury and its' prevention. Material and Methods: The professional football club(45 players) in Seoul were followed prospectively throughout 2005, January to 2005, December. Injury pattern and incidence were recorded. Results: Total 157 injuries were recorded. Major injuries which could not attend to game and training were 87 cases. Most severe month was June about 16 injuries(18.4%). And, the competitive season injuries were 46(52.9%) in March, April, August and September. Especially, ankle sprain and contusion injuries were common cause of absence in game. And, thigh muscle group injuries had a high risk of reinjury, because of treat insufficiently. Conclusions: We enhance the ability of the soccer team by prevention and education for injuries, especially in season.

This research is to examine the effect of specific Sports On-line membership characteristics on Customer loyalty, the role of the important concept of the three degree of commitment(Continuance commitment, Normative commitment, Affective commitment) in relation marketing. First, discover whether professional team's customer loyalty is influenced by Sports on-line membership through the three degrees of commitment, which is an important parameter in customer relation. Second, find out the effect of currently used online membership characteristics of an off-line company on the three degrees of commitment. To achieve this aim our research team carried out an empirical study by creating an experimental hypothesis and model. The research was conducted by an online survey by 211 supporters of professional football teams. Out of the total 23 were judged untrustworthy by double answers, the empirical study was drawn out from the remaining 188. The empirical study was done by statistical analysis programs SPSS 10.0 and AMOS 4.0. The conclusion of this research is that specific characteristics of Sports on-line membership, Continuance commitment, Normative commitment, Affective commitment plays an important role as a medium in Customer loyalty.

The purpose of this study is to improve the academy sports field for the establishment of advanced sports culture. This study used qualitative research. The research participants were baseball players for 11 years and have been professional baseball players. Another study participant has been a soccer player for eight years. And he has been a football coach for 13 years. The results of this study are as follows. First, the act of entertaining was the form in which parents served sports leaders meals and alcohol. Parents' student athletes had increased chances of playing in the game and were able to receive faithful guidance. Second, the student athletes whose parents did not act of entertaining to the sports leader were discriminated against. The student athletes were harassed by their leaders, their positions changed, and their chances of playing were reduced. Third, parents' student athletes who did not act of entertaining to their leaders either stopped exercising or moved to another school because of discrimination. Eventually, the entertainment culture of academy sports acted as a mechanism to induce sports de-socialization of student athletes, and made students experience a negative aspect of sports culture. As a result, the entertainment culture of academy sports caused discriminatory treatment due to economic inequality. Therefore, the negative entertainment culture of academy sports should be eradicated for the establishment of advanced sports culture.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze students' expectance demand towards high school physical education teaching. Methords : 392 participants randomly selected from one girls' middle school and one girl's high school in each of five tracts and then selected two classes from each of the schools. They were asked to respond to a simple questionnaire about their views on the present physical education teaching. Results : Results showed that about one third of the participants would not choose physical education if the program were offered as an optional subject. Both male and female students ranked psychomotor domain as the top priority among the various learning objectives. Male students favored soccer and basketball while their counterparts liked badminton and volleyball. Over three-fourths of the participants suggested that students' opinions should be considered when teachers plan their program. Conclusion : The results of this study recommended that physical education teaching should be designed with considerations for professional values, societal changes as well as students' expectance on the design of physical education.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate differences of shock attenuation strategies between double-leg and single-leg landing on sagittal plane using statistical parametric mapping. Method: Nine healthy female professional soccer players (age: 24.0±2.5 yrs, height: 164.9±3.3 cm, weight: 55.7±6.6 kg, career: 11.2±1.4 yrs) were participated in this study. The subjects performed 10 times of double-leg and single-leg landing from the box of 30 cm height onto force plates respectively. The ground reaction force, angle, moment, angular velocity, and power of the ankle, knee, and hip joint on sagittal plane was calculated from initial contact to maximum knee flexion during landing phase. Statistical parametric mapping was used to compare the biomechanical variables of double-leg and single-leg landing of the dominant leg throughout the landing phase. Each mean difference of variables was analyzed using a paired t-test and alpha level was set to 0.05. Results: For the biomechanical variables, significantly increased vertical ground reaction force, plantarflexion moment of the ankle joint, negative ankle joint power and extension moment of the hip joint were found in single-leg landing compared to double-leg landing (p<.05). In addition, the flexion angle and angular velocity of the knee and hip joint in double-leg landing were observed significantly greater than single-leg landing, respectively (p<.05). Conclusion: These findings suggested that negative joint power and plantarflexion moment of the ankle joint can contribute to shock absorption during single-leg landing and may be the factors for preventing the musculoskeletal injuries of the lower extremity by an external force.
