Objectives: Although dental hygienists are professional workers, their job retention is short. Therefore, in order to improve job retention, the relationship between professional identity and professional self-concept was analyzed. Methods: From January 1 to April 30, 2020, 155 dental hygienists were examined. For data analysis, multiple regression analysis was conducted to confirm the effects of professional identity and professional self-concept on job retention. Results: The dental hygienist's professional self-concept was significantly higher in the team manager than in the staff, but the professional identity was not significantly different. Dental hygienists' professional identity, professional self-concept, and job retention were all positively correlated (p<0.05). As a factor influencing dental hygienist's job retention, the self-concept of the profession had a significant effect, but the identity of the profession did not. Conclusions: Since the professional self-concept has a positive effect on maintaining the profession of dental hygienists, it is necessary to make efforts to improve the professional self-concept in order to increase the job retention.

본 연구의 목적은 공공도서관 사서의 전문직 정체성 수준을 측정하고, 관련 요인을 파악하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 서울 및 경기 지역의 공공도서관 사서를 대상으로 2021년 10월 28일~11월 18일까지 설문조사를 수행하여 375부의 유효한 응답 결과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 공공도서관 사서는 '자체 규제에 대한 신념' 영역의 평균이 가장 높았으며, '직업에 대한 소명 의식', '공공서비스에 대한 신념', '전문직 단체의 활용', '자율성' 영역 순으로 나타났다. 또한 공공도서관 사서의 전문직 정체성은 도서관의 설립 주체, 운영 방식에 영향을 받지 않는 한편 응답자가 근무하는 도서관의 관장의 사서직 여부와 사서의 경력과 연령, 직위는 사서의 전문직 정체성에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 본 연구는 Hall(1968)의 전문직 정체성 측정 도구를 사용하여 국내 공공도서관 사서의 전문직 정체성의 수준을 5개의 영역별로 분석하였다는 점과 국내 도서관의 특성을 공공도서관 사서의 전문직 정체성 수준에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 분석하고자 했던 점에서 의의가 있다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between clinical practice satisfaction, professional self-concept, and career identity among students of dental laboratory technology. Methods: From September 1 to September 15, 2021, data were collected through self-questionnaires completed by 180 students with clinical practice experience. The collected data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 22.0 statistical program. Frequency and percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and linear regression analysis were performed to analyze the data. Results: The average scores for clinical practice satisfaction, professional self-concept, and career identity were 3.17, 3.03, and 2.46, respectively. There were significant correlations between students' clinical practice satisfaction, professional self-concept, and career identity. There were positive correlations between clinical practice satisfaction and professional self-concept and between professional self-concept and career identity. Conclusion: Clinical practice satisfaction was found to play an important role in the formation of a positive professional self-concept as a dental technician. Therefore, a clinical practice program should be developed and implemented that can increase the satisfaction of clinical practice.

In modern society, doctors are a representative example of professionals-that is, doctors are members of an occupation with high barriers to entry. For doctors, long-term education, training, and licensing are factors that make it difficult to enter medical practice. These external characteristics, which have mainly arisen in the modern era, play an important part in the professional identity of doctors. Nonetheless, the core of the doctor's identity is the identity of the healer. In today's Korean society, the universal identity of doctors as healers results from a combination of the special historical identity of professionals with high entry barriers. Korean society currently demands a high level of ethical awareness from doctors. These demands are partly derived from the nature of the practice of medical care, but they also reflect demands for strong social responsibility as professionals. It is difficult to cultivate professional ethics simply by imposing legitimate virtues, presenting an ideal model, or emphasizing moral education that is not fully realistic. A deep-rooted sense of professional ethics stems from a clear awareness of professional identity. Education plays an important role in the formation and awareness of doctors' professional identity, and various types of content and methods can be used in education. However, since the identity of an entity is formed through the process of historical experience, it is thought that the historical process of the formation of doctors as a profession should be included as an important part of education.

본 연구의 목적은 치과위생사 전문직 정체성의 정의와 구성 요인을 정립하고 이를 반영한 측정도구를 개발하여 평가한 후 이를 활용하여 국내 치과위생사 전문직 정체성의 수준과 특성을 분석하는 것이다. 2015년 7월 25일부터 2016년 10월 24일까지 3회에 걸쳐 편의추출한 880명의 치과위생사에게 설문조사를 실시하였다. 전문직 정체성의 정의를 정립하기 위해 체계적 문헌고찰을 실시하였고, 구성 요인을 정립하기 위해 내용타당도 분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석을 실시하였으며, 요인별 수준을 파악하기 위해 기술통계, 독립표본 t검정, 일원배치분산분석을 실시하였다. 치과위생사의 전문직 정체성 정의에 따른 구성 요인은 '직업적 소명의식', '학문적 역량강화 욕구', '위임된 권한 발휘도', '윤리강령 준수도', '전문직 단체 활용도' 등 5개로 나타났고, 하나의 구성 요인당 3개의 문항으로 총 15개 문항으로 개발되었으며 타당도와 신뢰도는 양호한 수준이었다. 본 연구 대상자의 전문직 정체성은 5점 기준에 3.72점으로 나타났다. 구성 요인 중 위임된 권한 발휘도가 4.50점으로 가장 높았으며, 전문직 단체 활용도가 2.96점으로 가장 낮았다. 일반적 특성에 따른 전문직 정체성 수준을 평가한 결과, 최종 학력이 높아질수록 전문직 정체성이 높아지는 것으로 나타났고, 근무기관종별에서는 종합/대학병원에 근무하는 치과위생사의 전문직 정체성이 가장 높았다. 치과위생사의 전문직 정체성에 영향을 미치는 선행요인과 전문직 정체성이 영향을 미치는 결과요인에 대한 후속연구가 이뤄진다면 전문직 정체성을 중심으로 한 모형을 확립할 수 있을 것이다. 치과위생사의 역할이 시대적 요구에 의해 변화하고 있는 시점에서 치과위생사의 전문직 정체성은 치과위생사에게 중요한 변수이다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 측정도구는 향후 치과위생사 전문직 정체성에 대한 후속 연구에 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

본 연구의 목적은 사회복지사의 전문직 정체성이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보고, 그 과정에서 직무환경이 어떠한 매개효과를 나타내는지 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 경기도 소재의 사회복지기관에서 근무하는 사회복지사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 최종 연구대상은 205명이다. 수집된 자료는 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 분석하였으며 그 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전문직 정체성은 직무만족에 매우 유의한 정적(+)인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 전문직 정체성은 조직몰입에 정적(+)으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 직무환경은 전문직 정체성과 직무만족, 전문직 정체성과 조직몰입 간의 관계에서 부분적인 매개효과를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 사회복지사의 직무만족과 조직몰입의 향상은 전문직 정체성을 높이는 것에 기반을 두며 직무환경에 의해 조직몰입이 더 높아질 수 있음을 확인한 것이다. 이를 토대로 본 연구에서는 사회복지사의 직무만족과 조직몰입을 높이기 위한 실천적 방안을 논의하였다.

This study examines if the uniforms of dental hygienists influence the formation of professional identity. A self-administered survey was conducted on 534 dental hygienists in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon from March 28 to April 15, 2007. The dependent variable was professional identity. The independent variables were the organizational characteristics, uniform characteristics, and attitudes towards uniform. For the data analysis, we used t-test and hierarchical regression analysis. Using a t-test, we found the relationship between the color of the uniform and attitudes towards uniforms. The white uniform turned out to be associated with a positive perception of uniform function and uniform-image fit. The result of hierarchical regression analysis shows that the color of the uniform, perception of uniform functioning, and uniform satisfaction were statistically significant in predicting professional identity. We also tested the same model for two groups, those with and without image concern. The test results show that the significant factors were different for these two groups. This study confirms the function of uniforms in constructing professional identity and implies the need to have broader perspectives in studying uniforms.

본 연구의 목적은 일부 치위생(학)과 학생들을 대상으로 임상실습 감정노동과 자아존중감이 직업정체감에 미치는 융합적 요인을 조사하고자 실시하였다. 전남지역에 소재한 대학 3개교에 재학 중인 치위생(학)과 학생 205명의 자료를 사용하였다. 수집된 모든 자료는 SPPS 12.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 자아존중감과 직업정체감은 양의 관계(r=0.366, p<0.01)를 보였지만 임상실습 감정노동과 직업정체감은 음의 관계(r=-0.213, p<0.01)로 나타났다. 치위생(학)과 학생들의 직업정체감에 영향을 미치는 융합 요인은 전공만족도(${\beta}=0.434$), 자아존중감(${\beta}=0.236$) 그리고 임상실습 감정노동(${\beta}=-0.199$)이었다. 설명력은 34.6%의 영향력을 보였다. 따라서 치위생(학)과 학생들의 직업정체감 향상을 위하여 전공 만족도와 자아존중감을 증진시키고 임상실습 시 경험하는 감정노동 관리를 위한 프로그램 개발이 필요하리라 사료된다.

본 연구의 목적은 치위생(학)과 학생이 임상실습 중 경험하는 무례함과 스트레스가 전문직 정체성에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것이다. 연구대상은 총 297명이며, 분석 결과, 일반적 특성 중 지원동기, 학과 만족도, 실습기관 만족도에서 전문직 정체성이 유의한 차이가 있었다. 무례함과 임상실습 스트레스는 정적 상관관계, 임상실습 스트레스와 전문직 정체성은 부적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 전문직 정체성 영향 요인으로는 학과 만족도와 임상실습 스트레스의 하위요인 중 환자와의 갈등이었으며, 설명력은 17.9%였다. 이에 전문직 정체성 향상을 위한 임상실습 스트레스 감소 및 대처 프로그램 개발과 적용이 필요하며, 학과 만족도를 높이기 위한 구체적인 방안이 필요하다.

본 연구의 목적은 임상실습 스트레스와 직업정체감의 융합 관계를 조사하고자 전남지역 3개 대학 치위생과 3학년 171명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 18.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 직업정체감은 임상실습 교육환경(r=-0.352, p<0.01), 임상실습 업무부담(r=-0.185, p<0.05), 환자와의 갈등(r=-0.181, p<0.05)과 유의한 음의 상관관계를 보였다. 치위생과 학생들의 직업정체감에 영향을 미치는 융합요인은 임상실습 교육환경(${\beta}=-0.261$), 적성 고려(${\beta}=0.238$), 타인의 권유(${\beta}=-0.186$), 임상실습 불만족(${\beta}=-0.176$) 순으로 나타났다. 설명력은 23.7%로 나타났다. 따라서 치위생과 학생들의 임상실습 스트레스와 직업정체감의 관계를 파악하여 원활한 인력공급을 위한 프로그램 개발이 필요하리라 생각된다.
