온라인 의류 점포유형에 따른 점포속성 중요도 (The Importance of On-line Store Characteristics Depending on On-line Store Type)

  • This study investigated the differences in the importance of store characteristics depending on on-line clothing store type and consumer age. The questionnaires were given to female residents in the ages between 20-39 in Seoul and Kyung-gi province during October 2006. The results were summarized as follows: 1. By analyzing the differences in importances of on-line store characteristics factors it was found that buying process service factor and product searching system factor were important in on-line general merchandise store. and buying process service factor and product factor(all the factors, such as store credit, product, screen-displayed design, searching and approaching system, customer management service) were important in on-line specialty store. 2. By analyzing the differences in importances of on-line store characteristics depending on the store type, buying process system such as refund policy, shipping, high-speed payment and rapid searching, screen-displayed design system, approaching and searching system were more important in on-line general merchandise store when comparing to specialty store. It also showed that the consumer considered the reputation of the store and its image more important in on-line general merchandise store. 3. By analyzing the differences in of on-line clothing store importance depending on age, in the case of on-line general merchandise store, it showed that people in their thirties regarded buying process service factor more important than twenties, and when it came to the product and searching system, it was vice versa. Twenties had a tendency to consider the aspect of product important and, relatively, thirties regarded searching and approaching system factor important. in the case of specialty store. It was found that women in their twenties had a tendency to consider product factor more important.

  • 본 논문에서는 BLE 비콘을 기반으로 하는 제품 정보 안내 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 이 시스템은 모바일 티켓을 통한 비접촉 입장 서비스, 좌석 안내 서비스, 이벤트 Push 서비스, 콘텐츠 Push 서비스, 공공 서비스 등의 다양한 기능을 제공하도록 설계한다. 이 시스템은 3개 모듈인 비콘 인식 모듈, 서버 연동 모듈, 콘텐츠 전송 모듈로 구성된다. 비콘 인식 모듈은 스마트 폰을 가진 고객이 가용 서비스 영역에 접근하면 근접한 비콘의 특정 ID를 전송하는 기능을 구현한다. 서버 연동 모듈은 비콘 ID 값을 인식하여, 서버로 전달하고, ID를 가지고 있는 서버 위치를 확인하는 기능을 구현한다. 콘텐츠 전송 모듈은 해당 위치에 설정된 이벤트나 서비스 정보를 스마트 폰으로 전송하는 기능을 구현한다. 본 논문에서 구현한 비콘 기반의 제품 정보 안내 시스템을 활용하면 다양한 제품 정보 안내 시스템을 빠르고, 쉽게 구현할 수 있다는 장점이 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 유동 소비자에 대한 서비스 이용의 유동성을 보장할 수 있는 지능형 여행정보서비스를 제안하고자 한다. 본 시스템은 유비쿼터스 환경에서 여행자가 필요로 하는 다양한 정보 획득을 돕기 위해 단일상품 묶음을 통한 복합상품 구성과 시맨틱 웹 서비스에 기반한 정보의 구조적 표현을 목적으로 설계되었다. 여행정보시스템에 연관된 상품들은 호텔, 항공사. 자동차대여, 여행지 정보, 음식점 및 Business Trip 등으로 여행자의 요구 및 상황의 변화에 맞게 연관상품의 복합상품구성을 위한 지능형 여행 최적 정보시스템의 연구가 요구된다. 이를 위해 털 연구에서는 여행서비스 지원을 위해, 첫째 여행자의 요구에 따른 단일상품의 복합상품화를 위한 방법론(Product bundling and modification)을 제안하였다. 둘째, 복합상품을 구성하기 위해 개별 정보시스템에 이질적인 형태로 저장되어있는 단일상품에 대한 정보를 공유하기 위해 시맨틱 웹 기반 정보의 구조적 표현에 관하여 제안한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 OWL 기반의 온톨로지를 구축하였다. 따라서 온톨로지 기반의 여행정보시스템은 향후 시맨틱 웹서비스 기반의 지능형 여행정보시스템 구축을 위한 초석으로 활용될 것이다.

Generating New Product-Service System Concepts Using General Needs and Business System Evolution Patterns: A Furniture PSS Case

  • In a product environment where various product-service systems (PSSs) are already being provided, the provision of a different type of PSS is difficult for second movers but necessary for their sustainability and differentiation. Despite the importance of providing distinguishing PSSs to market, prior PSS studies have not effectively considered the influence of existing PSSs in their methods. In response, we suggest an approach to generate new PSS concepts by employing general needs (GNs) and business system evolution patterns (BSEPs). Our approach 1) identifies customer GNs fulfilled by existing PSSs, 2) generates advanced PSS ideas from an evolutionary perspective by mapping the existing PSSs onto BSEPs, and 3) selects PSS ideas that can meet the unfulfilled or insufficiently considered GNs using a GN-PSS linking matrix, thereby generating new PSS concepts based on the selected ideas. The workings and practicability of this approach are illustrated using a PSS case study of furniture industry. This approach would provide PSS planners with an ability to generate the differentiated PSS concepts that handle the customer needs that have been untapped throughout a product's lifecycle. In addition, this approach as a module will have a synergetic effect when incorporated with other PSS methodologies.

제조업의 지속 가능한 제품-서비스 시스템 개발 전략 연구 (Development Strategies of Sustainable PSS in Manufacturing)

  • Product-service system (PSS) is a system of products and service, supporting networks and infrastructure that is designed to be competitive. PSSs satisfy customers' needs more effectively and have a lower environmental impact than traditional business models. Therefore, many companies and governmental institutes are eager to implement the PSSs as a new business model. In this paper, we focus on industrial practices as new business models for the company. PSS, especially, is popular in electronic industry, so one can often observe such examples as iPod, iPhone, e-Book and etc in the field. We first thoroughly investigate the current practices of PSS in Korean electronic industry. The examples are surveyed and projected directions are given. Then, non-electronic PSSs are surveyed. Especially mechanical PSSs are intensively discussed. Based on the survey results, we propose several major development strategies of Sustainable PSS (SPSS). SPSS will bring a competitive edge for company as realization of sustainable development of PSS considering economy, society, and environment.

  • 개인화된 제품이나 서비스에 대한 시장의 요구가 갈수록 커지면서, 기업들은 대량 고객화 시대에 제품(서비스)를 차별화 시키고 제품(서비스)의 가치를 증가시키기 위해 제품과 서비스를 통합해가도 있다. 이를 제품-서비스 시스템(Product-Service System: PSS)라고 한다. 기존연구에서는 PSS 모델링 방법을 중심으로 많은 연구가 진행되고 있으나, 본 연구에서는 서로의 특성이 전혀 다른 유형의 제품과 무형의 서비스를 통합하는 PSS의 설계요인을 분석하고자 한 것이다. 이를 위해, 본 연구에서는 스마트기기 사용자들을 대상으로 하여 실시된 설문조사 결과를 분석하고, 이를 설계요인 프레임워크에 의해 분석하는 실증적 탐색연구를 실시하였다. PSS에서 유형의 제품 기능은 무형의 서비스 기능을 이용하기 위한 보조적 역할을 하며, 서비스 기능이 주기능으로서 역할하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • PSS(Product Service System) 시스템은 제품과 서비스가 하나로 통합되어 고객에게 차별화된 가치를 제공하고, 기업이 경쟁력을 가지고 지속적인 성장을 할 수 있게 지원하는 시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 PSS 시스템으로 성공한 Amazon의 Kindle과 Apple의 iPod, 실패한 Microsoft의 Zune과 Sony의 e-book reader를 채택하여 중다 사례연구 방법론을 통해 성공요인과 실패요인을 도출하고자 한다. 이를 위하여, 사례 분석을 통해 가설을 도출하고, 연관 문헌연구와의 비교 및 분석을 통하여 PSS 시스템에서 상업적으로 성공하기 위한 전략적 시사점을 제시하였다.

  • Trends of integrating products and services lead to the emergence of Product-Service System (PSS). To implement and embody a PSS solution in new product development, a comprehensive design framework is allowed designers to facilitate the design factors of the PSS in complex business environments. A physical product, containing functionalities for services, is the role of medium between customers and a manufactures. Customers can access those metaphysical interfaces to utilize the product fully or expand its performances. The PSS is aiming to prolong its lifecycle while maintaining its expected quality. Since the quality can be represented as a measure which belongs to user's perspective, guaranteeing certain level of quality can be interpreted to sustaining customer satisfaction. The objective of this paper is to propose a PSS design framework to identify design factors for developing products and services by integrating object-oriented concepts and blueprinting in context of a business ecosystem. The proposed model is developed based on relationship products and services matching with their design factors. The products and the services are then brought together to form a PSS. Functions and processes can be categorized to identify the design factors in different levels using the object-oriented concepts. Objected-oriented concepts provide PSS analysis tools for describing a business process or a workflow process in the PSS. The blueprint is used to identify the relationships between the products functions and the service processes that are offered as part of a job. To demonstrate of the effectiveness of the proposed model, we use a case study involving a smart phone.

A Conceptual Framework for Determination of Appropriate Business Model in e-Learning Industry in Iran

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to present a framework for determining the most appropriate business model for e-learning. Research design, data, and methodology - The Electronics Branch of Azad University has been elected as a case study in this research. This study conducted using a descriptive method. The information was obtained using interviews with experts including managers, faculty and students at the Electronics Branch of Azad University. Results - Three service-product system (product oriented system, use an oriented and result oriented system) approaches determined a framework for the formation of a portfolio. This portfolio is including three types of e-learning business models. Examining the relevant characteristics, correspondence of behaviorism learning theory with a product-oriented approach, correspondence of cognitivism theory with a user-oriented approach and in finally match correspondence of constructivist learning theory with a results-oriented approach which is evident. Conclusions - After reviewing the literature on the fields of e-learning, business model and product - service systems, we have achieved three types of e-learning business models. Then the variables in any of the business models were defined by using business model canvas tool and thus a portfolio consisting of three types of e-learning business model canvas was obtained.
