Improved Drone Delivery System Through User Authentication and Mission Automation Using EdgeCPS (EdgeCPS를 활용한 사용자 인증 및 임무 자동화를 통한 드론 배송 시스템 개선)

  • Currently, various companies are actively participating in research and development of drone delivery services. Existing studies do not comprehensively provide integrated functions for future drone delivery services such as mission automation, customer verification, and overcoming performance limitations, which can lead to high manpower demand, reduced user service trust, and potentially overloading low-end devices. Therefore, this study proposes a drone mission automation system (DMAS) using EdgeCPS technology to provide the three aforementioned functions in an integrated manner. Real-world experiments were conducted to evaluate the proposed system, demonstrating that the DMAS components operate according to the specified roles in the delivery scenario. In addition, the system achieved user verification with a similarity of more than 90% in the process of receiving the product, and verified a faster inference speed and a lower resource share than the existing method.

  • For the quality management of software developed in Marine digital AtoN Information management and service system development project, an international standard-based quality process and a project management system-based communication and information sharing system were established. In addition, high-quality software development is achieved by monitoring the status of project output creation and supporting software quality inspection and verification.

A study on Quality System Management in Small and Medium Enterprises (중소기업 품질시스템 운영 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Quality system management adapted by small and medium enterprises in Kangwon province to enhance the competitiveness was studied. Variance analysis on several questionnaire answers was performed. Motives for acquiring the accreditation, such as product export, adjustment to international trend, enhancement of brand/product recognition, CEO's mind change, and management innovation, have been changed significantly among business types. Mind changes after the accreditations were setting company's first priority on quality, enhanced recognition on compliance of in-house standards and regulations, employee's performance with the recognition of quality. Amongst service problems to maintain the accreditations were difficulties in maintaining the recognition of the company's quality management, labor increase to maintain the ISO 9000 enforcement team, and financial burden to keep the accreditation. Quality recognition after the accreditations was significantly improved in setting company's first priority on quality, enhanced recognition on compliance of in-house standards and regulations, employee's performance with the recognition of quality.

  • This paper is interested in analyzing the CSFs of 3 different kinds of on-line digital products. They are on-line digital products of (1) transaction, (2) relations, and (3) interests. This study first tried to define the on-line digital products based in the above three categories and then to find the factors that might effect the customer acceptability in each product groups. Independent variables used in this study are characters of products, characters of users, and system environments. This paper that on-line survey has been conducted for the study's specialty and the collected resource was analyzed by using the SPSS 10.0K statistics package. Using multiple regression, this study finds that major factors effecting the user acceptability of each group are different from one another. For example, system environment variables such as speediness, system performance effects the customer acceptability of digital products of Interest(game, avartar, etc). Much more then that of products of relations(information service, etc). Therefore empirical findings are suggested in the conclusion.

  • MND(Ministry of National Defense) has developed MND AF(Ministry of National Defense Architecture Framework) and CADM(Core Architecture Data Model) to guarantee interoperability among defense information systems. TRM(Technical Reference Model) and SP(Standard Profile) product defined in MND AF is core part of Information Technology Architecture and core element of interoperability guarantee. In this paper, we proposed a method which manages technical service and standard of TRM and SP, and developed TRM and SP management system based on the method. TRM and SP management system provides the basis for interoperability among information systems and a more efficient development and management of TRM and SP product.

  • With the opening of the KTX in April 2004 and launching the KORAIL(Korea Railroad Corporation) in January 2005, KORAIL company brand and service product brand were unrecognized. Each brand is very important invisible assets in KORAIL and KORAIL affiliate companies because of their powerful perception of the customers. This study suggests that how to improve and manage KORAIL brand reputation and how can KORAIL employees differentiate other transportation system in the near future. To obtain more benefits using the brand strengthen strategy in KORAIL.

  • Ubiquitous city which was appeared since 2006 is defined as "The city provided the ubiquitous city service anytime and anywhere using ubiquitous urban infrastructure to improve the city's competitiveness and quality of life" under ubiquitous city construction law. To realize the ubiquitous city, the city has to be constructed efficiently based on the spatial information. And connection of information achieve effective synergy. In this study, applied multilateral analysis to spatial information and administrative information to implement u-service focused on MACCA(Multifunctional Administrative City Construction Agency). Study about main function and product data with connection process of Korean Land Spatialization System and administrative information System was performed. Also, details of u-service and method of acquiring necessary data were derived. In Addition, the information connection possibility for efficient u-service realization was suggested by linkage analysis method to utilize the related information infrastructure jointly.

  • This research is basically deals with an inventory distribution system with several regional sales branches. Under the continuous review policy, each sales branch places an order to its supplier whenever on hand plus on order inventory falls on the order point, and the order quantity is received after elapsing a certain lead time. This research first shows the method how to apply the product with low lever of demand into the continuous review policy. For the application, we use an order level as the maximum level of inventory during an order cycle. Also we analyze the lost sales case as a customer behavior. Further we use variable demands and variable lead times for more realistic situation. Based on the above circumstances, the research mainly discusses those methods to decide the optimal order level, order point, and order quantity for each sales branch which guarantees the system wide goal level of service, while keeping the minimum level of the system wide total inventory.

  • Marine equipment makers today face a multitude of challenges including the needs of an internal system for easy management of their business processes and a collaboration system to streamline communications with the parent company, increasing product complexity and heightened requirements for information technology. In this research, a BPM-ERP system called Biz $Tower^{(R)}$ was implemented based on cloud computing for especially, small and medium marine equipment makers to standardize and visualize the entire business process from order placement to release. This system also provides their parent company with visibility into the status of orders and user can easily access the system on the web at a low price through cloud computing service. Thus far, this paper demonstrates the applicability of Biz $Tower^{(R)}$ to improve management visibility, process performance, and collaboration with the parent company for small and medium marine equipment makers.
