Implementation of Customized Variable Insurance Management System Using Data Crawling and Fund Management Algorithm

  • This paper accumulates the product structure data such as bond obligation ratio and investment ratio for variable insurance using crawling from the insurance company's API, also accumulates variable insurance income and project expenses for variable insurance using crawling from the API of life insurance association. From these accumulated data, the correlation coefficient between fund product and customer preference is calculated with an investment algorithm, and variable insurance funds by customer investment preference and product structure are recommended according to market conditions. From the simulation results, it is shown that the proposed variable insurance management system properly recommends and manages variable insurance according to customer preferences.

  • Recently, according to the total quality management environment, the necessity of the systematic administration about the quality information is gradually enlarged as to vehicle related company. Accordingly, related companies require the operation of the information management system matched with the quality administration task level. And through the storage and share of the efficient quality information, they try to solve the customer claim about the quality and prevent the quality problem recurrence of product. This research suggests the standard business process of the auto part supplier for the efficient management of the quality information and the quick correspondence of the quality problem. In addition, by building and managing the quality information management system will be able to expect the more efficient quality management and the product reliability insurance.

  • The information research system continues to be developed and directed at leading research National Institute of Technology (ITN) Malang in accordance with the Research Strategic Plan of ITN Malang. One of them is a computer system in a complete integrated facility management activity, such as this research scheme. The purpose of this research is to combine and integrate people, places, product, processes and technology. All of them are integrate existing organizational factors into a more effective, simplifying of complex processes, identifying and scheduling, notes, decision makers and more. This research was conducted in stages by design with a structured model stage for 3 (three) years (focus on humans, products and processes), research on Integration Facility Management: Interface Coordination in human resources and product management have been completed on 2019 and 2020. While the focus of research this year is to obtain an integrated facility management Interface Coordination in Process Management.

  • As the use of Internet being generalized, ordering system can be easily achieved on the Web so that the direct sailing system is replaced the various types of Built-To-Order system. It is important to give the up-to-date information to the end-user in order to build the Built-To-Order system. Recently, the way of providing information is updating the product related information continuously. In this study, we provide the method that can be streamlined Product Data Management System which manages a creation and update for product information into the direct BTO system in order to achieve the newest information. This methodology is not only transferring the information but also processing the information in an appropriate form. So this paper is going to cover the various point of view of information processing.

Managing Inventories of Brand-New and Recovered Products in a Reverse Supply Chain with Downward Demand Substitution (하방 수요 대체가 허용되는 역공급망에서 신제품 및 재생제품 재고 관리)

  • This paper considers a reverse supply chain with simultaneous recovery of used products and manufacturing of brand-new ones. Recovered products are downgraded and have to be sold in a market different from that of brand-new products at a different price. In case of a shortage of recovered product inventory, a brand-new item, if available, can be offered at the price of a recovered product. In other words, one-way demand substitution is allowed. We address the joint decision of when to manufacture brand-new product, when to recover returned product, and how to control demand substitution to maximize the hybrid production system's profits. To this end, we propose a Markov decision Process model and investigate the structure of the optimal policy. Performance comparison is numerically implemented between the models with and without downward demand substitution option under different operating conditions of the system parameters.

  • We developed a similar product recommendation system for implementing a collaborative commerce model between the cooperating companies. The system is based on a similar product finding algorithm. The main idea of the proposed algorithm is using a multi-attribute decision making(MADM) to find the utility values of products in same product class of the companies. Based on the values we determine what products are similar. The system helps the companies to recommend products in accordance with the customer's preferences regarding product specifications.

  • The product lifecycle of a marine vessel can be classified into the design-production, operation-maintenance, and disposal phases. During the operation and maintenance phase, status data should be gathered from the major machinery and instruments installed on the marine vessel in order to perform efficient maintenance work. Although a PLM (product lifecycle management) system can manage the product information during the design and assembly stage, a PLM based on asset management technology is more appropriate for product information management during the operation stage. Product embedded information devices (PEIDs) are suggested for gathering real-time maintenance information during the operation and maintenance lifecycle. A PEID allows PLM to provide the capability of offering active information exchange between the lifecycle management system and equipment. This study designed a PEID to effectively obtain information and interact with a PLM system. It consists of sensors, wireless communication, and a micro-processor, which allow it to accumulate status data on the PLM system. The embedded information device and PLM enable the seamless information flow, tracking, and updating of MRO (maintenance repair and overhaul) information for a product throughout the middle of the product lifecycle.

  • Presented in this paper is the development of an product cost estimation system at the product design stage. The efficient cost estimation function at the design stage is essential for the cost reduction activities through the entire product life cycle. For this purpose, it is necessary to establish a systematic working procedure, and to develop information system for managing a great deal of production and product-related data required for the cost estimation. The developed system has the capability of estimating a cost of assembly type products as well as unit-item type products. As proposed system is based on the variant approach, it can be used easily at an early design stage without the need for detail design information. Also, this system is integrated with legacy PDM (Product Data Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system for fast. accurate and easy product cost estimation. The estimated cost includes material cost, overhead cost as well as labor cost.

  • The Q-cost has been used in the manufacturing company to decide the optimal level of company's product quality, and to evaluate the effect of company's quality control system since the advent of Q-cost theory. In spite of the following costs are generated in the user side, owing to an unsuitable level of product quality and inadequacy of company's quality control system, these costs are not usually included in the company's Q-cost : (1) the cost generated in relation to a claim proposal as traffic expeneses and transpotation of the product. (2) the cost of maintenance through the useful life of the product, especially accured after quality warranty period. (3) the cost related to the economical efficiency in using the product. (4) the cost ralated to a customer dissatisfaction for the product quality. In this point of view, the contents of user side Q-cost, and the relations between the user side Q-cost and the level of company's product quality are discussed. And then the importance of user side Q-cost in order to determine the optimal quality level is discussed.
