Study on the Deformation of Die and Product in Closed Die Upsetting (밀폐 업셋팅에서 금형과 제품 변형에 관한 연구)

  • The study has been performed for the relation between die and product in closed die upsetting by the experiment. The strain of die has been given by the simple experiment using the strain gauge located at the outer surface of die and the deformation history of die and product has been given by the experiment and Lame's formula. The inner pressure of die causes the deformation of die that affects the accuracy of dimension and shape of product. The product with accurate dimension and shape can be obtained by analysing elastic deformation of die during upsetting process. The deformation of die during metal forming process has been usually predicted by the experience of industrial engineers or finite element analysis. But it is difficult to predict the dimension of product at unloading and ejected states. The study has given useful result for the deformation history of die and product through the experiment and Lame's formula at closed die upsetting, and can be applied in the die design for product with accurate dimension.

Preference of Experiential Activities and Behavioral Intention on Rural Tourism - On parents group of elementary students in Daegu city - (농촌관광에 있어 체험활동 선호도 및 행동의도 - 대구광역시 초등학생 학부모 집단을 대상으로 -)

  • This study is to analyze the preference of experiential activities and behavioral intention on rural tourism, with special focus on parents group of elementary students. The result can be utilized as basic data for demanding aspect of rural experiencing tourism. Two-step questionnaire survey was conducted, during May to July, 2915. Sample group was selected at 4 elementary school in Daegu city. 347 valid responses were analyzed with SPSS. Major results are as follows. Firstly, suggested model for 23 experiential activities in 7 types, were verified as valid by verifying factor analysis. Factor 1 was verified and named as 'Rual Life Experience', Factor 2 was verified and named as 'Health/Healing Experience', Factor 3, as 'Agricultural Product Experience', Factor 4, as 'Eco-Cultural Experience', Factor 5, as 'Leisure/Sports Experience', Factor 6, as 'Traditional Wellbeing Food Experience', and Factor 7, as 'Traditional Culture Experience'. All 7 factors explained 75.39% of total variance. Secondly, mean score of preference by each activity showed high in 'Health-care experience', 'Traditional food experience' and comparatively low in 'Collecting experience', 'Agricultural experience'. Thirdly, all 7 types(factors) of experience showed significant affecting relation to satisfaction, intention to participation and recommendation. Specially, 'Eco-Cultural Experience' and 'Rural Life Experience' showed high affecting relation. This could be the characteristics of parents group of elementary students.

Analysis of Purchasing Attributes for Consumption Activation of Environment-friendly Agricultural Processed Foods (친환경농산물 가공식품 소비 활성화를 위한 구매속성 분석)

  • The activation of consumption of environment-friendly agricultural processed foods means not only the growth of environment-friendly agriculture, but also the development of related industries. Therefore, it is necessary to identify and apply the needs and purchasing attributes of environment-friendly agricultural processed food consumers. For this, survey was conducted to adult men and women in their 20s and 60s and a total of 200 copies were used for empirical analysis. In this study, the average difference between importance-satisfaction for purchase attributes of environment-friendly agricultural processed food was verified, and the IPA Matrix was prepared based on this. As a result, in terms of purchasing importance and satisfaction, it was found that those with no experience in purchasing environment-friendly agricultural processed foods regarded product, price, place, promotion as more important than those with experience in purchasing. In case of IPA, product and price factors were all important and satisfactory regardless of purchasing experience. On the other hand, it was found that the key factors for promotion were neither important nor satisfied with consumers regardless of their purchasing experience. Therefore, it is mainly necessary to focus on marketing and mass media promotion. At the same time, various domestic and foreign best practices should be benchmarked and a 4P marketing strategy should be established and promoted.

  • This research is based on product development that improves user experience such as design and function by analyzing the usage behavior of elements experienced by generation Z as customers and users in the process leading to disposal of earphones even before purchase. The behavior of earphones in Generation Z was analyzed through in-depth interview and surveys of the customer experience and user experience of earphones. The results of the study were common or characteristic. They are user experience based on brand dependency, sharing experiences and seeking simplified design and convenience, which is related with the lifestyle of the generation Z. This study is expected to be a fundamental study of product research and marketing strategies that will take advantage of the characteristics of Generation Z, who will be the main player of the market in the future.

A Study on the User Experience of Handmade Market Applications -Focused on Etsy and Idus- (핸드메이드 마켓 앱의 사용자 경험 연구 -Etsy와 idus를 중심으로-)

  • This study aims to evaluate the user experience of leading handmade product market service applications, Etsy and idus. A survey about the apps was developed based on Peter Morville's user experience factors. The survey was conducted with eleven users from their 20s to 50s. In addition, problems were discovered through an in-depth interview and the resulting user experience problems were analyzed according to the five levels of Jesse James Garrett's user experience element framework. Our primary results for both apps suggest applying a universally accepted visual interface to improve the user experience, providing brief text to improve readability, avoiding repetitive delivery of similar functions in different information structures, and applying design patterns that are considerate of customers' culture and country. This study provides meaningful data to elevate handmade product platforms into global platforms by analyzing and providing improvements to their shopping experiences.

Effects of Adoption of the Buy-price, Setting the Starting Bid Price, and Adoption of 'the Effective Fixed Price' on the Final Bid Prices in Internet Auctions (인터넷 경매에서 즉시구매옵션 설정여부, 시작가, 고정가형 판매방식여부가 낙찰가에 미치는 영향)

  • We analyze the effects of the sellers' strateiges on the final bid prices in internet auctions. We focus on the following three strategies of the seller adoption of the buy-price, setting the starting bid price, and adoption of 'the effective fixed price' which means that the starting bid price is set near the buy-price. In addition, the number of units sold single-unit or multi-unit, and item characteristics, such as whether the food is a search product (functional product) or an experience product (non-functional product), are also considered. We use real data on bids for 4 items from an online auction site. We find that in an auction for experience products when sold as single units, adopting the buy-price strategy raises the final bid price. We also find that in multi-unit auctions, starting the auction at 'the effective fixed price' raises the final bid price.

  • The manufacturing industry with Make-to-Order production system is difficult to decide the standard information for the product and the demand is variable to estimate. In this paper, we concerned with the process planning method using data mining in the manufacturing industry with Make-to-Order environment. The subject of our study is the industry transformer plant which is received an diverse order of customer and then produced the product. Currently, process planning method is classified the standard information by hand based on the acquired knowledge through the experience. The standard information stored the various information, such as work sequence, time and so on. This process planning method needs an experts which possesses the field experience for several years. For the product specification which is varied in each order, current process planning method is not efficient due to need many times To solve this problem, we extract the information using data mining process for each processing time, and then construct the knowledge base. We propose a method which is the process planning of the industry transformer product in Make-to-Order environment using the knowledge base.

The Influences of On Line WOM(word Of Mouth) Information and Receiver's Characteristic on WOM Received (온라인 구전정보와 수신자 특성이 구전수용에 미치는 영향)

  • The present paper aims to examine the relationship between the online word of mouth(WOM) contents and the WOM effect and to see how receivers' features such as product knowledge and involvement level influence the WOM received. For that purpose, we categorize WOM contents into two subcategories; product news and personal experience. The WOM effect, in turn, is into the WOM received. Survey questionnaires were given to 268 collegians as to their online WOM activities to purchase MP3 players. SPSS 10.0 package was employed as the method of statistical analysis. We report the following results. First, product news is shown to exert a greater effect on the WOM received than personal experience. Second, their product knowledge plays a moderating role in the relationship between the WOM contents and the WOM received. Finally, it is shown that the factor of involvement level moderates the relationship between the WOM contents and the WOM received. The current paper attempts to develop a hypothetical relationship between WOM information and WOM received and to provide a theoretical foundation for the practical online marketing. We must admit the methodological limitations with respect to subjects and samples. It should be worthwhile, however, to compare online and off-line marketing and to expand the range of research in the current line of thought.
