주택생산의 특성과 주택사업자의 사업 전략 (A study on the characteristics of housing product and housing-builders' strategies)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of housing product through housebuilders' strategies. As a methodology for this study, literature survey and questionnaire survey were used. Questionnaires were delivered on mail to 232 housing-builders and return rate was 34.1%. In summary, housing product was characterized long gestation period, periodically building cycle, future uncertainty of market volatility, maximization of land development gain, utilization of public fund for continuous building activity, moral hazard by accidental bankruptcy. Therefore private housebuilding could be defined speculative industry.

How do Export Pioneers Emerge and How are They Related to Product Creators?

  • In this paper, we empirically examine how export pioneers emerge and how they are related to product creators/innovators, utilizing a rich plant-product level dataset from the Korean manufacturing sector for the period of 1990-1998. Our analysis covers the process from the appearance of product creators as well as product imitators to the emergence of export pioneers. We find, first, that product imitators are larger, more productive and older than product creators. Second, most export pioneers are nevertheless found to be product creators. This result is largely due to the fact that almost all export pioneers export the products in the same year as product creation. Third, there are similarities as well as differences between product creators and export pioneers. Plants that are more productive or larger are more likely to become product creators as well as export pioneers. However, previous exporting experience positively affects the probability of export pioneering only, while plants' engagement in R&D positively affects the probability of product creation only. We discuss possible explanations for our main empirical results as well as their policy implications.

신제품개발시 소요투자비 흐름의 기업특성별 연구 (Study for Investments Flow Patterns in New-Product Development)

  • 본 연구는 신설기업의 신제품개발에 따른 투자비소요액 흐름이 시간에 따라 비슷한 패턴을 보인다는 것을 기업의 재무데이터로 검증하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 이전 논문에서 저자가 투자비소요액 흐름을 신제품투자비곡선(NPIC; New Product Investment Curve)이라 제안한 바 있으며, 이번 연구에서는 이를 다양한 기업 형태별로 연구하였다. 사용된 표본은 2015년 외부감사 대상인 5,873개 한국 기업에서 선별한 462개 기업 재무데이터이다. 분석 결과, 추가투자비 필요 기간은 상장된 기업은 3년간, 비상장기업은 6년이었으며, 투자비회수기간은 상장기업 6년, 비상장기업 17년이었다. 대기업군에 속한 '온실기업'의 투자비회수기간은 14~15년, 순수한 벤처기업은 17년이었다. 연구개발비와 변동비의 과다에 따른 4개 그룹으로 구분 시, 고 R&D, 고 변동비 그룹(자동차조립업)이 NPIC의 설명력이 가장 높았다. 투자비소요액 추정을 위해 제안한 8개 투자비 추정식 중에서는 'cash 1'((영업현금흐름+토지, 건물을 제외한 고정자산 변동+무형자산, 이연자산 변동)/연말총자산)'의 설명력이 가장 높았다. 결론은 모든 기업을 합하여 추정하면 NPIC 설명력은 다소 떨어지나 상장, 비상장, 온실, 벤처기업 등 특성 별로 나누어 추정할 경우, 투자비소요액 곡선의 패턴이 특성 별로 잘 나타나 제안한 NPIC의 유효함이 검증되었다.

The Effect of Absorptive Capacity on Technology Collaboration Performance: Focusing on the Moderating Roles of Innovation Intermediaries

  • This study aims to analyze the effect of absorptive capacity on technology collaboration performance and the moderating effect of innovation intermediaries. We set absorptive capacity (potential, realized) as independent variables and technology collaboration performance (relative technology level, development period, cost savings, new product development, collaboration satisfaction) as dependent variables, with innovation intermediaries as a moderating variable. We conducted a survey of 145 ICT companies that experienced technology collaboration and analyzed the data using 101 valid responses. The results show that potential absorptive capacity has a significant effect on new product development and collaboration satisfaction, while realized absorptive capacity has a significant effect on relative technology level, cost savings, and new product development. Furthermore, innovation intermediaries have a moderating effect between realized absorptive capacity and new product development. The contribution of this study to academia and industry is that it highlights absorptive capacity as a key factor influencing technology collaboration performance. The limitations of this study include the lack of accurate measurement of absorptive capacity and innovation intermediaries, as well as a lack of control over external factors. These limitations should be addressed through more in-depth research by systematically defining and measuring them in future follow-up studies.

경험디자인을 적용한 모바일 상품 컨셉 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the development of mobile system for younger generation based on the experience-based product development process)

  • 상품개발에 있어서 사용자 경험(User Experience)이란 특정한 상황에서 사용자가 기능적 / 감성적인 충족의 집합을 의미하는 것으로, 최근 들어 정보 가전, 컨텐트 사업자, 통신망 사업자 등에게 사용자 경험을 기반으로 하는 경험 기반 디자인이 주목받고 있다. 그러나 막상 경험 디자인 프로세스를 도입하기 위해서는 1) 학계에서 제안된 경험 기반 상품 개발 프로세스는 개발 프로세스가 너무 길고 복잡하여 전폭적인 도입에 엄두가 나지 않는 다는 점, 2) 기존의 상품 개발 프로세스와의 접목이 부자연스럽다는 점, 그리고 3) 전반적으로 경쟁상황에서 빠르고 효율적인 상품 개발 프로세스를 원한다는 점등의 문제가 선결되어야 한다고 지적하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 경험 디자인 행위를 지원해 주는 도구 개발에 초점을 맞추어 사용자 욕구 모델링, 디자인 전략 모델링, 경험 상품 모델링 등의 모델링 기법을 제안하고, 이를 상품 개발에 활용하는 방안을 제시 하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 개발된 모델링 기법을 초등학생을 위한 모바일 게임 컨텐트 개발 프로젝트에 적용하여 그 가능성을 살펴보았으며, 또한 모델링 기법의 제한점 및 개선점도 발견할 수 있었다. 전반적으로 본 모델링 기법은 1) 사용자 조사의 유연성을 확보하는데 기여를 하였고, 2)사용자 조사와 상품 개발의 연결고리를 매핑과 평가를 통하여 마련하는 것이 가능하였고, 3) 동시에 다양한 팀원의 참여를 가능케 한다는 점등이 확인되었다.

포장필름의 산소차단성에 따른 육가공제품의 저장수명 연구 (Study on the Effect of Barrier of Packaging Films on the Shelf Life of Processed Meat Product)

  • This study was investigated to the effect of oxygen barrier of four different packaging films of the shelf life of proessed meat product by the simulated distribution test and storage test. The microbial growth, pH, VBN content, TBA value, color change and sensory evaluation were compared during the 2-month storage period at 4, 10, $20^{\circ}C$ after finished the simulated distribution test. The oxygen transmission rates ($cc/m^2$ day) were BF001: 27,88; BF003; 12.30;NY; 77.98; EVOM; 0.41 respectively. The packaging films were not effected on the changes of pH, VBN content, TBA value and color during the storage period. The aerobic microbial growth was increased only at $20^{\circ}C$ in the order of growth rate in the following films;NY > BF001 > BF003 > EVOH. Therefore, the microbial growth was affected significantly by the properties of oxygen barrier off packaging films and it should be an indicator of establishing the shelf life processed meat product.

  • We consider supply chain which consist of one manufacturer, one distributor and N retailers for a single product. This paper determines inventory replenishment period of supply chain using houristic method and propose order policy through re-coordination of inventory replenishment. Also, We develops inventory management model to calculate total cost of supply chain under assumptions of constant demand. The computational results show that the proposed inventory replenishment period and inventory management model is efficient.

Analysis of the Time-dependent Optical Properties of the Entire LCD Panel

  • To understand panel driving more accurately, the optical properties and their distributions in the LCD panel itself, excluding the backlight, were investigated by measuring the transmittance of a one-dot pixel as a function of time. First, the behavior of time-dependent transmittance was analyzed, and it was found that the off-state TFT was not in a steady state but in a transient state during the holding period. Second, the time average, max, min, and range values of the transmittance curves were examined by varying the common voltage level and gray scale. Third, the analysis of such properties was expanded to cover those of the entire panel in all the gray scales. Lastly, the relationship between their properties and distributions was also investigated along with the contour plots.
