제품태도에 대한 회복노력의 차별적 효과 (Differential Effects of Recovery Efforts on Products Attitudes)

  • 본 연구는 서비스실패가 아니라 제품실패 이후, 회복노력의 효과를 실패심각성에 따라 확인하는 것이다. 회복노력은 보상노력, 장점노력 및 단점노력으로 구분되었다. 보상노력은 실패상황을 직접적으로 되돌리려는 의도로 구체적인 보상을 제공하는 방안으로, 장점노력은 제품실패를 초래하는 이유가 특정한 장점을 추구하는 과정에서 불가피하게 발생할 수 있는 문제임을 언급하는 것과 같이 추가적인 상대적 장점을 설명하는 방식으로, 그리고 단점노력은 자사제품이 서비스실패를 초래할 수 있는 문제점을 지니고 있는 반면에 경쟁제품은 또 다른 측면의 단점을 지니고 있다는 점을 부각시켜 소비자의 자사제품에 대한 부정적 태도를 회복시키려고 방안이라고 개념화되었다. 그러한 회복노력들이 실질적으로 효과가 있다고 결론을 내리기 위해서, 회복노력이 제공되지 않는 상황과 비교하여 소비자의 태도나 의향이 우호적인지 검토된다. 가설검증을 위해 화장품산업에서 소비자들을 대상으로 가상적인 시나리오를 이용한 실험을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 전반적으로 회복노력들은 효과적인 전략임이 확인되었고, 보상노력은 장점노력이나 단점 노력보다 효과적이었다. 특히 심각성이 높은 실패조건에서 단점노력은 장점노력보다 긍정적인 제품태도를 유도하였다. 심각성이 낮은 실패조건에서 장점노력과 장점노력의 효과는 기대할 수 없었다.

한국적 이미지의 패션문화상품에 대한 태도 및 구매의도 영향요인 - 한국과 미국 소비자의 비교 연구 - (Factors of Attitude and Purchase Intention toward Fashion Cultural Products with a Korean Image - Comparison of Korean and American Consumers -)

  • An empirical study was conducted on fashion cultural products with Korean image, targeting Korean and American consumers. Its purpose was to identify Korean and English consumers' attitude and purchase intention and to compare difference of its influence factor toward fashion cultural products of which design sources were derived from the Korean culture. The quantitative research using on-line questionnaires was targeted at American and Korean consumers. A total of 400 responses were used in the analysis. Results of data analyses using SPSS 13.0, are as following. First, for American consumers, uniqueness-seeking had a positive effect on attitude toward of cultural product with Korean image, followed by service of salespersons, change-seeking, and appearance of salespersons. For Korean consumers, easy accessibility was significantly related to attitude. Second, for American consumers, uniqueness-seeking and appearance of salespersons had a significant influence on the purchase intention of the cultural product with Korean image. For Korean consumers, no attributes were related to purchase intention. This research about fashion cultural products that will compete in the global market presents exploratory information targeting domestic and foreign consumers and will contribute to the strategic aspect of newly growing high-added-value industries.

Acoustic Signal based Optimal Route Selection Problem: Performance Comparison of Multi-Attribute Decision Making methods

  • Multiple attribute for decision making including user preference will increase the complexity of route selection process. Various approaches have been proposed to solve the optimal route selection problem. In this paper, multi attribute decision making (MADM) algorithms such as Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), Weighted Product Method (WPM), Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and Total Order Preference by Similarity to the Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods have been proposed for acoustic signature based optimal route selection to facilitate user with better quality of service. The traffic density state conditions (very low, low, below medium, medium, above medium, high and very high) on the road segment is the occurrence and mixture weightings of traffic noise signals (Tyre, Engine, Air Turbulence, Exhaust, and Honks etc) is considered as one of the attribute in decision making process. The short-term spectral envelope features of the cumulative acoustic signals are extracted using Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) and Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Classifier (ANFC) is used to model seven traffic density states. Simple point method and AHP has been used for calculation of weights of decision parameters. Numerical results show that WPM, AHP and TOPSIS provide similar performance.

영산강 4단계 간척사업 대상 갯벌생태계 가치의 에머지 평가 및 경제학적 평가와의 비교 (Emergy Valuation of a Tidal Flat Ecosystem in the Southwestern Coast of Korea and Its Comparison with Valuations Using Economic Methodologies)

  • The emergy concept was used to valuate the contributions of a tidal flat ecosystem included in the fourth stage reclamation plan for the Youngsan River area to the Korean economy. Emergy contributions of the ecosystem were compared with those of economic valuations performed on the same ecosystem. The tidal flat ecosystem contributed 3.55 million EmW/ha annually. This, however, cannot be compared directly with those of the economic valuations because both methodologies approach the valuation of ecosystems in different perspectives. The emergy methodology is a donor-based valuation in which what goes into making a product or service is measured, while the economic valuation is a receiver-based approach in which human receivers determine the value of an ecosystem product or service. An emergy valuation was conducted for the three ecosystem functions included in the economic valuations to compare the results of both methodologies on the same basis. Fishery production and pollutants removal contributed 9.86 million EmW/ha/yr and 0.88 million EmW/ha/yr, respective1y. The conservation value of the tidal flat ecosystem was 3.55 million EmW/ha/yr. Overall, the emergy valuation that try to include works of both human and nature on the same basis resulted in higher economic contribution of the tidal flat ecosystem than that calculated by the economic methodologies in which only human works are measured based on the willingness-to-pay of people. This study showed that the emergy concept could provide an alternative tool for policy decision-making regarding utilization and conservation of ecosystems by approaching the ecosystem valuation from a different perspective than that of economic methodologies.

  • Along with the rapid emergence of the Internet and e-commerce, online auctions are hitting the spotlights. The inconveniences found in off-line auctions, such as time and place restriction and limited number of items, are solved in the online auction. However, not so many auction sites have integrated auction information systems, which monitor the present status of auctions, resulting in greater inconvenience for the online auction users. Moreover, there is no auction site that suggests the appropriate starting or closing price that is useful for users when they make, their bids, What the online auction users need is an auction system that can solve such problems. This study is purported for solving the problems by designing and implementing a real time auction system that applies the comparison search functions and the agent functions. In other words, an integrated database system using a bidder-oriented agent for providing information is built so that the users can search and compare the information on the item they are interested in and make a faster and more accurate purchase. Also the appropriate starting and closing prices are offered to the sellers and bidders through the integrated system for a closer and more accurate comparison and analysis of the prices. For future work, the product recommendation service, which accurately reflects the bidding patterns, and the methods for studying the multi bidding pattern will be applied to the suggested system to realize a real time auction information system that supports CRM(Customer Relationship Management) .

AHP를 이용한 가상쇼핑몰 평가 (Evaluation of Virtual Shopping Malls Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process)

  • A virtual shopping mall is like a real-world mall, supports electronic shopping by selling products or services through Interne. Although increasing numbers of products are being marketed on the Web, little efforts has been spent on evaluating what mall is more suitable for marketing electronically and for protecting consumers. Evaluation of virtual shopping malls is regarded as a major task in business-to-consumer electronic commerce. This paper considers the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method in the evaluation of virtual shopping malls and provides its applications. The AHP is a systematic procedure for representing the elements of any problem, hierarchically. A series of pairwise comparison judgments is performed to express the relative strength or intensity of impact of the elements in the hierarchy. The AHP model hierarchy consists of the four following levels: decision maker, main criteria, sub-criteria, and virtual shopping malls. the main criteria include the state of physical firms, representation of information on the virtual shopping malls, product or service, convenience for shopping, consumer protection, and consumer service. The total number of sub-criteria in the third level is twenty-nine. All decision makers selected belong to virtual shopping mall enterprises, or universities. As a case study, we show the synthesized priority of the five virtual shopping malls that have acquired an E-Trust mark. Finally a sensitivity analysis shows how well each virtual shopping mall performs on each criterion by increasing or decreasing the importance of the main criteria.

노년층 의류 소비자를 위한 온라인 소비자 정보에 대한 분석 - 한국과 미국의 웹사이트의 비교연구 - (Content Analysis of On-Line Consumer Information for Elderly - Comparison between the US and Korea Apparel E-tailing Sites -)

  • Internet apparel businesses are required to provide various kinds of consumer information which includes both product information and customer service information. "New Age Elderly" who become an aged man in 21th century are familiar with internet and other high technological tools from their life time experience with technological development and ready to enjoy the convenience the technology offers. As a preliminary step to develop internet consumer information model for elderly consumers, this study examines the US and Korea apparel e-tailing sites targeting elderly consumers. Ten Korean sites and nine US sites were selected and compared for their provision of consumer information in terms of contents, ease to access, and the completeness of the information. Results of data analysis indicate that elderly market in Korea is not yet clearly defined compared to the US. In Korea, elderly consumer market is considered as a part of middle-aged market, and there was no unique target marketing efforts observed. Korean sites are better than the US's sites in terms of shopping information, while the US sites offer detailed information about the company, and customer service information. In both countries, fashion related information is lacking and failing to satisfy fashion conscious elderly consumers. Managerial implications were discussed.

  • The facility layout problem has the goal of locating the different facilities in a floor to achieve the greatest efficiency in producing a product or service. This problem is usually formulated as the quadratic assignment problem(QAP). However, the problem of finding optimal layout is hard and traditional approaches are not computationally feasible. In this paper, a genetic algorithm is presented for obtaining efficient layouts. To test the effectiveness of the algorithm, a set of examples is solved and the results are compared to those from other Known algorithms. The comparison indicates that the proposed method performs well for the classical test problems.

  • Although e-commerce is growing fast, e-commerce consumers are still under higher risk and uncertainty in the comparison of the traditional commerce's. Consumer review boards of online shopping malls are good measures to help buyer's decision making, and should be managed effectively by sellers. We formulate the research model on consumer trust formation on seller managed web review boards on the background of previous literatures on e-WOM and trust. Our data analysis with 368 samples shows seller's reputation, e-service quality, perceived reviewer's benevolence and ability have significant positive effect on the trustworthiness of the board. Product involvement shows weak negative moderation effect on the relationship between perceived reviewer's benevolence and trustworthiness of review boards.

A study on changes in domestic tourism trends using social big data analysis - Comparison before and after COVID19 -

  • In this study, social network analysis was performed to compare and analyze changes in domestic tourism trends before and after the outbreak of COVID-19 in a situation where the damage to the tourism industry due to COVID-19 is increasing. Using Textom, a big data analysis service, data were collected using the keywords "travel destination" and "travel trend" based on the collection period of 2019 and 2020, when the epidemic spread to the world and became chaotic. After extracting a total of 80 key words through text mining, centrality was analyzed using NetDraw of Ucinet6, and clustered into 4 groups through CONCOR analysis. Through this, we compared and analyzed changes in domestic tourism trends before and after the outbreak of COVID-19, and it is judged to provide basic data for tourism marketing strategies and tourism product development in the post-COVID-19.
