This study analyzes the economic impact of the shipping and port logistics industry in Gwangyang Bay Area on the regional economy. For this purpose, the study constructs an input-output table of 29 sectors for 2010 in the area. The main findings are as follows. In terms of production, value added, and share of employment, the regional shipping and port logistics industry accounts for approximately 10.8 percent, 6.0 percent, and 2.9 percent of the national shipping and port logistics industry, respectively. Moreover, the economic impact of the industry on the regional economy is estimated to be an increase in terms of production of about 6 trillion Korean won), to be an increase in value added of about 2.5 million Korean won, and an increase of about 16,000 in employment. Furthermore, the industry is found to have strong inter-industry linkages with the main manufacturing as well as the main producer service industries.

In making 3D animation with digital technology, it is necessary to increase productivity and reusability by managing production pipeline systematically through standardization of animation content. For this purpose, we try to develop the animation content management system that can manage all kind of information on the production pipeline, based on SCORM of e-teaming by considering production, publication and re-editing. A scene as the unit of visual semantics is standardize into an object that contains meta-data of place, cast, weather, season, time and viewpoint about the scene. The meta-data of content includes a lot of information of copyright, publication, description, etc, so that it plays an important role on the management and the publication. If an effective management system of meta-data such as ontology will be implemented, it is possible to search multimedia contents powerfully. Hence, it will bring on production and publication of UCC. Using the meta-data of content object, user and producer can easily search and reuse the contents. Hence, they can choose the contents object according to their preference and reproduce their own creative animation by reorganizing and packaging the selected objects.
There is very high preference for the firms to locate in the Capital region, the City of Seoul and its surrounding areas, which inevitably meets diverse types of regulations to prevent over-concentration in Korea. In order to suggest an urgent need to reform these regulations, the demand for knowledge-based industries is estimated. A legit model is employed to estimate the demand of relocation of the current firms based on a survey conducted in 2001. A logistic curve is used to forecast the demand of new start-ups in Korea. The lands for industrial use only are estimated as many as 2.1 million~3.9 million pyung(1 pyung=3.3$m^2$) in nation-wide. Considering affiliate facilities and infrastructures, 3.1 million~5.9 million of industrial area should be developed in Korea for next five years. Since the rents are very high and the available land is short in the southern parts of Seoul, where most knowledge-based firms locate right now. Many firms have considered relocating on any other places where there exist a plenty of lands available and cheaper rents and cheaper wage rates, but still not far away from Seoul so that they could obtain new advanced information, skilled labors, venture capitals, and high quality of producer services. The Capital region, especially Gyeonggi and Incheon, is the only place to meet those conditions in Korea.
The field observations on a seasonal characteristic of organic matter and its origin in the surface sediment were carried out at 35 stations in Deukryang bay, southern coast of Korean Peninsula from May 1995 to February 1996. The analytical parameters were mud temperature, ignition loss(IL), chemical oxygen demand(COD), pheopigment, sulfide and water content. The origin and seasonal dynamics of organic matter in Deukryang Bay were analyzed by COD/IL, COD/sulfide ratio and principal component analysis(PCA). As a results of the mud temperature fluctuated between 2.1$^{\circ}C$ with the lowest mean 4.6$^{\circ}C$ in winter and 27.6$^{\circ}C$ with the highest mean 25.5$^{\circ}C$ in summer. The range of ignition loss(IL) was from 3.1% in autumn to 21.5% in winter. Chemical oxygen demand(COD) showed the highest mean value of 8.45 mg/g dry in spring within the range of 2.90∼18.21 mg/g dry, while it showed the lowest value of 4.33 mg/g dry in autumn within the range of 0.67∼10.37 mg/g dry. Pheopigments showed the highest mean value of 9.04 $\mu\textrm{g}$/g dry in autumn within the range of 1.36∼20.44 $\mu\textrm{g}$/g dry, while it did the lowest mean value of 2.20 $\mu\textrm{g}$/g dry in summer within the range of 0.33∼11.36 $\mu\textrm{g}$/g dry. The range of total sulfide (H$_2$S) was from no detect(ND) to 3.30 mg/g dry in spring. And water content showed the annual mean value of 43.6% within the range of 23.6∼54.9%. The source of organic matter by COD/IL and COD/sulfide ratio in Deukryang Bay had been producted by primary producer in sea water areas except the areas effected by small stream, domestic and animal wastes. And the analytical results of PCA was able to be divided into three different regions. The former was characterized by the shallow depth and authigenic organic matter from phytoplankton in northwest area and northeastern inner bay, the secondary was done by deeper depth and allochthonous one from lands in southeast area and eastern entrance of bay, and the latter was done by authigenic one from the farm of seaweeds such as, sea cabbage, sea mustard etc in western entrance of bay. But a study on the relationship between sulfide and COD concentration in the northeastern inner bay which was characterized by the water stagnation will to take much more studying including major constituents of organic matter in the future.

Hannam-dong, which lies at the eastern part of Yongsan-gu in metropolitan Seoul has been known as one of the affluent area, but actually it is divided into different sub-areas including poor ones. Although it used to be a quiet residential neighborhood, be they rich or poor, some streets (gil) have become the places of creative economy since the late 2000s. The place-making of Hannam-dong is accompanied by taking-place of different creative classes in different sub-areas, and there have emerged contestation, negotiation and clash among them at the contact zone. While the big companies such as Samsung explores their own version of cultural/creative entrepreneurialism in one sub-area, the actors that can be dubbed as 'creative small producer' and/or 'creative underlass' produce Hangangjin-gil and Usadan-gil as artistic-cum-economic communities by deploying cultural capital. All in all, Hannam-dong is an interesting case that different types of gentrifications are produced by different actors in different sub-areas, which results in producing another kind of 'community of strangers' where different (creative) classes share a physical location, but do not have lasting social interactions and communicative networks.

This study was attempted to increase the production of L-Threonine by Brevibacterium Flavum ATCC 14067, To select the strain which produce the highest threonine, mutants ere induced by N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine treatment. The composition of media and cultural condition for its overproduction of threonine were also studied. In a threonine producer, strain B-13(Met-) was the strain producing the highest amount of threonige among methionine, lysine and isoleucine auxotrophs. The following results were obtained. 1. The wild strain and B-13(Met-) produced threonine 1.4mg/ml and 4.86mg/ml , respectively. 2. The optimum composition of medium for producing threonine by Brevibacterium Flavum B-13 was glucose 10%, ammonium sulfate 4%, potassium phosphate monobasic 0.2%, magnesium sulfate 0.05%, biotin $200{\mu}l$, thiamine $300{\mu}l$. Addition of nicotinic acid also led to increase L-threonine production. 3. In addition of organic nutrients to the fermentation medium, peptone n'ere effective and addition of methionine $100{\mu}g/ml$ produced the highest amount of L-Threonine. Aspartic acid and homoserine were also effective when these amino acid were added to the fermentstion medium. 4. Cultural conditon on threonine production by B-16 were investigated. The optimum pH was 7.0-8.0. The highest amount of threnine was produced after 4 days of cultural period.

Special Effects(SFX) through the films began the genre of Science Fiction in the era of ideology and space competetions and producer George Lucas made the firm named ILMOndustrial Light & Magic) to making picture of SFX. At last 'Abyss', 'Terminator II', 'Toy Story' and 'Forrest Gump' have made to us with many splendid arangements by the computers. Especially, we can concluded that the relevant expressions as in 'Forrest Gump' is the unexpected charming and human images with wonder. In Korean films are less varied, relevant and reasonable than that of American films, in this study I hope to develope more natural Korean computer graphic in near future.
This research investigated experimentally on the population growth in the aquatic microcosm with the wastewater of plating factory. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of culture conditions of the characteristic growth pattern of the examined species. Population of the system is consists of three organisms; Chlorella vulgaris as a producer, Cyclidium glaucoma as a consumer and Pseudomonas putida as a decomposer. The different growth patterns of each population are followed by surfactant type; Especially C. glaucoma was sensitive, Ch. uvlgaris was maintained population size stably even at high level of surfactant and p. putida was not significantly affected. After treatment of waste water from plating factory, it began to be affected at 1.0% solution treatment to Ch. vulgaris which the cell number was decreased prominently after 2 days, and C. glaucoma was disappeared at 2.5% solution treatment. P. putida was showed increasing pattern according to treatment concentration, at 2.5% solution and population size grew double. The result from current microcosm study indicates that this model system can be applied to environmental assessment method for various pollutants.
A study survey about the rice cake producers completing the food hygiene education in Korea was investigated by characteristics of the rice cake business. The difference between their online and offline awareness of food hygiene education were compared. The average age of rice cake producers is 50 (40.1%), with a high school education (52.6%), 10-20 years of service (34.3%) showed the highest percentage. In relation to sales and work area, workshop personnel are engaged in two (79.5%), An area of less than $99.17m^2$ (92.0%), rent (60.2%) with most paying a monthly rental amount of less than 1 million won (54.8%). There were 228 accident cases in three years (an annual average of 2.4%), manufacturing, Processing the item number was less than 20 types of analysis (86.7%). Case of food hygiene education graduates are women, the lower the age, the higher the education level, was preferred online. Online education was chosen because of 'time, economic, convenience'(73.7%). Online graduates have recognized that health education is more conducive to business. There was no significant difference between the sales online and offline graduates. For hygienic management response was that online graduates are well above the 7.4% offline graduates. Online and offline graduates 60.7% appeared to be more satisfied than the previous training institutions.
Mutational experiments were performed to imporve the cellulase productivity of Aspergillus phoenicis KU175, isolated from the southern part of Korea, as a high cellulase producer. By treatment ultra-violet light nad 4-NQO(4-Nitroquinoline-N-Oxide), mutation waas induced, and treatment ultra-violet light and 4-NQO (4-Nitroquinoline-N-Oxide), mutation was induced, and A.phoenicis KU175-115 was finally selected for its highest avicelase production. Avicelase production of the mutant was increased about 2 times compared with those of the wild strain. However, activities of other hydrolytic enzymes, such as amylase, protease and nuclease, of the mutant strain didn't show a marked difference compared with those of the nuclease, of the mutant strain didn't show a marked difference compared with the wild strain, except slight increase in ribonuclease activity and slight decrease in glucoamylase activity. Avicelases from the mutant strain selected were purified from wheat bran culture by successive salting out, followed by dialysis and column chromatography, and their charcteristics were compared with thosw of the wild strain. Avicelase was separated into three peaks in the mutant strain as well as in the case of wild strain. Avicelase II activity of the mutant strain was prominently higher than that of the wild strain, while avicelase I and III activities of those were equivalent. The optimal pH ranges and stability of avicelase II from the mutant strain were pH4-5 and pH3.5-6.0, respectively, as well as in the case of the wild strain. The optimal temperature and thermal stability of avicelase II from the mutant strain were $40{\sim}50^{\circ}C\;and\;20{\sim}55^{\circ}C$, respectively. These results were same as those of the wild strain. By the using of Eadie-Hofastee plot, $K_m\;and\;V_{max}$ of avicelase II from the mutant and the wild strain were calculated to be 2.29mg/ml and $4.84{\mu}g$ reducing sugar as glucose per min equally, from the line fitted to the data by the least square method. Activity of avicelase II from the mutant strain was slightly activated by $Mg^{++}\;but\;inhibited\;by\;Cu^{++}, \;Mn^{++}\;and\;Zn^{++}$, as well as in the case of the wild strain. Therefore, it was concluded that the mutant didn't induce the formation of another avicelase isozyme, or the changes in the properties of avicelase, but induce the changes in the productively of the same avicelase II by the action of regulatory gane.
