여성 관리자의 자기결정적 직무동기가 직무성과에 미치는 영향: 직무창의성과 창의적 자아효능감의 조절적 매개모형 (The Effects of Female Service Managers' Self-determined Motivations on Job Performance)

  • Purpose - Our primary goal of this study is to investigate the positive relationship between female managers' self-determined motivations (i.e., RAI: relative autonomy index) and job performances with the mediation of their job creativity in service industries. This study also examines the moderating role of creative efficacy on the relationship between female managers' self-determined motivations and creativities. Finally, based on mediation and moderation hypotheses, we also tested moderating effect of creative efficacy on the mediation effect of job creativity. Research design, data, and methodology - Drawing on SDT(Self-determination theory) and COR(conservation of resources) theories, we developed three research hypotheses. Service female managers from a several service organizations(i.e. banking, retailing, and restaurant/hospitality service) in South Korea were surveyed using self-administered instrument for data collection. A total of 331 usable questionnaires were obtained after list-wise deletion. To test reliability and validity of measurement model, we employed the CFA(confirmatory factor analysis) using M-plus 8.1 Software. Also, internal consistency was tested by Cronbach's α. We, furthermore, used the SPSS PROCESS MACRO 2.16, which was suggested by Hayes (2013; 2015), to test mediation, moderation, and moderated mediation. Results - Our results revealed that self-determined motivation and job performance were positively and fully mediated by job creativity. Furthermore, the positive relationship between female managers' self-determined motivations and job creativities was stronger when their creative self-efficacies were high than when it was low. In addition, female managers' creative self-efficacies also amplified the positive relationship between their self-determined motivations and job performances with the mediation of job creativity. Conclusions - Our research empirically elaborated the previous model of self-determined motivation and manager/female creativity literature by presenting the findings that female managers' self-determined motivations significantly influence their job performances via job creativity and that creative self-efficacy effectively strengthen these positive impacts. Also, our research offered new insight for practitioners (i.e. top service managers) by suggesting that they may enhance female service managers' job performance if they pay more attention to employee creativity in service marketing.

  • Purpose: Existing precedent studies include success factors of individual management innovation activities constantly. However, those studies have limitations about the common key success factors of individual management innovation activities. Methods: For this study, we investigate the key success factors using literature research of the most typical management innovation activities adopted and implemented by many companies in Korea, such as 6sigma, TQM, Lean 6sigma, ERP, TPM, BPR, Project Management, System Engineering. Factors emerging repeatedly was combined into common factors and inherent factors that are necessary for the success of individual management innovation activities are designated to essential factors. Results: 'Essential factors for Six Sigma' consist of 5 items. Black belt operating system, personnel management system linkage, the correct management of the data, perform improvement projects associated with financial performance financial result, linked to financial performance improvement project, project progress management. 'Essential factors of TQM' are arranged 4 items. Quality team's independence and role, goal-setting, Quality Information System, corporate's philosophy of quality first. 'Essential factors of Lean Six Sigma' are the selection of value stream which is based on the customer needs and the value creation and identify the project based on the selected value in the company. 'Essential factors of ERP' are investigated 6 items. Ongoing system maintenance and upgrades, the measurement and support of user satisfaction, the operating systems and the policies for the maintenance, IT infrastructure, change adaption condition monitoring, focusing on improving business performance. 'Essential factors for TPM' are arranged 4 items. Motivated and energetic Bottom-Up, CEO's recognition of the importance facility management, long-term perspective of necessity and ongoing patience. 'Essential factors for BPR' are the pursuit of change process and the staff's sense of crisis management. 'Essential factors for Project Management' are the strategy that reduce the risk management skills through risk management and the understanding and organized management for the project participant's needs. 'Essential factors for System Engineering' consist of 2 items. The first is the design for the best balanced system with pre-analysis about the compromise the cost, schedule and the performance. The second is the analysis of large problem into small problems which can solved. We have found the solution considering components of the interface through the systematic perspective. Conclusion: Common factors and essential factors presented in this study will properly help to introduce the individual management innovation activities for the each business sector and implement management innovation. After this study, new literature research that reflect new studies should accomplish steadily.

Artificial Neural Network를 이용한 화살 성능에 대한 연구 (A Study of Arrow Performance using Artificial Neural Network)

  • 제조공정을 통해 생산된 화살의 성능을 평가하기 위한 방법으로, 활과 화살을 오랫동안 사용해 온 사냥꾼이나 레저 스포츠 용품을 만드는 기술자, 그리고 전문가의 개인적인 경험 등이 사용된다. 또한, 반복슈팅실험을 통해 얻어진 화살의 탄착점 집적도는 생산된 화살의 성능을 평가하기 위한 중요한 지표이다. 탄착점 집적도와 초고속카메라를 통해 촬영된 비행중인 화살의 이미지를 이용하여, 화살의 성능에 대한 연구가 수행되고 있다. 하지만, 화살의 특성(길이, 무게, 스파인, 오버랩, 곧기)과 탄착점의 분포간의 상관관계에 대한 연구는 부족하다. 본 논문에서는 탄착점 분포를 수치적으로 출력할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하고, 생산된 화살이 가지는 특성과 탄착점 사이의 상관관계모델을 구현하는 것이 목적이다. 모델의 입력은 화살이 가지는 특성(스파인, 곧기)이 사용되고, 출력은 화살의 노크 각도를 120도씩 회전시키면서 3번 반복 슈팅하여 얻어지는 삼각형 모양 좌표의 MAD(mean absolute distance)를 이용하였다. 상관관계 모델을 구현하기 위해서 입출력 학습데이터를 수집하였고, 모델의 구현을 위해서는 인공신경회로망(Artificial neural network, ANN)을 사용하였다.

화재모델링 예측성능 개선을 위한 이온화식 연기감지기의 장치물성 측정 (Measurement of the Device Properties of a Ionization Smoke Detector to Improve Predictive Performance of the Fire Modeling)

  • 성능위주 소방설계(PBD)의 과정에서 화재 및 피난모델링의 신뢰성을 확보하기 위해서는 화재감지기 모델의 높은 예측성능이 필수적으로 요구된다. 본 연구의 목적은 FDS와 같은 대와동모사(Large Eddy Simulation) 화재모델에 적용될 수 있는 연기감지기의 정확한 작동 개시시간을 예측하기 위한 수치적 입력정보를 측정하는 것이다. 이를 위해 화재감지기의 장치특성을 측정할 수 있는 FDE (Fire Detector Evaluator)를 제작하였으며, 이온화식 연기감지기에 대한 Heskestad 및 Cleary 모델의 입력변수가 측정되었다. 또한 일반적으로 사용되는 FDS의 기본 값과 측정된 값이 적용된 연기감지기의 작동 개시시간을 정량적으로 비교하였다. 주요 결과로써, 본 연구에서 검토된 이온화식 연기감지기의 장치 물성은 FDS에 적용된 기본 값과 매우 큰 차이를 보이고 있으며, 연기감지기 작동 개시시간이 최대 15분 이상 차이가 발생되었다. PBD의 신뢰성을 향상시키기 위하여 향후 연구에서는 보다 다양한 연기 및 열감지기의 장치물성에 대한 데이터베이스(DB)가 구축될 예정이다.

Study of the Efficiency Droop Phenomena in GaN based LEDs with Different Substrate

  • Currently GaN based LED is known to show high internal or external efficiency at low current range. However, this LED operation occurs at high current range and in this range, a significant performance degradation known as 'efficiency droop' occurs. Auger process, carrier leakage process, field effect due to lattice mismatch and thermal effects have been discussed as the causes of loss of efficiency, and these phenomena are major hindrance in LED performance. In order to investigate the main effects of efficiency loss and overcome such effects, it is essential to obtain relative proportion of measurements of internal quantum efficiency (IQE) and various radiative and nonradiative recombination processes. Also, it is very important to obtain radiative and non-radiative recombination times in LEDs. In this research, we measured the IQE of InGaN/GaN multiple quantum wells (MQWs) LEDs with PSS and Planar substrate using modified ABC equation, and investigated the physical mechanism behind by analyzing the emission energy, full-width half maximum (FWHM) of the emission spectra, and carrier recombination dynamic by time-resolved electroluminescence (TREL) measurement using pulse current generator. The LED layer structures were grown on a c-plane sapphire substrate and the active region consists of five 30 ${\AA}$ thick In0.15Ga0.85N QWs. The dimension of the fabricated LED chip was $800um{\times}300um$. Fig. 1. is shown external quantum efficiency (EQE) of both samples. Peak efficiency of LED with PSS is 92% and peak efficiency of LED with planar substrate is 82%. We also confirm that droop of PSS sample is slightly larger than planar substrate sample. Fig. 2 is shown that analysis of relation between IQE and decay time with increasing current using TREL method.

Novel Graphene Volatile Memory Using Hysteresis Controlled by Gate Bias

  • Graphene is a carbon based material and it has great potential of being utilized in various fields such as electronics, optics, and mechanics. In order to develop graphene-based logic systems, graphene field-effect transistor (GFET) has been extensively explored. GFET requires supporting devices, such as volatile memory, to function in an embedded logic system. As far as we understand, graphene has not been studied for volatile memory application, although several graphene non-volatile memories (GNVMs) have been reported. However, we think that these GNVM are unable to serve the logic system properly due to the very slow program/read speed. In this study, a GVM based on the GFET structure and using an engineered graphene channel is proposed. By manipulating the deposition condition, charge traps are introduced to graphene channel, which store charges temporarily, so as to enable volatile data storage for GFET. The proposed GVM shows satisfying performance in fast program/erase (P/E) and read speed. Moreover, this GVM has good compatibility with GFET in device fabrication process. This GVM can be designed to be dynamic random access memory (DRAM) in serving the logic systems application. We demonstrated GVM with the structure of FET. By manipulating the graphene synthesis process, we could engineer the charge trap density of graphene layer. In the range that our measurement system can support, we achieved a high performance of GVM in refresh (>10 ${\mu}s$) and retention time (~100 s). Because of high speed, when compared with other graphene based memory devices, GVM proposed in this study can be a strong contender for future electrical system applications.

pHEMT 공정을 이용한 저손실, 고전력 4중 대역용 SP6T 스위치 칩의 설계 및 제작 (Design and Fabrication of Low Loss, High Power SP6T Switch Chips for Quad-Band Applications Using pHEMT Process)

  • 본 논문에서는 WIN Semiconductors사의 0.5 ${\mu}m$ PHEMT 공정을 이용하여 GSM/EGSM/DCS/PCS 4중 대역을 위한 저손실, 고전력의 RF SP6T 스위치 칩을 설계, 제작 및 측정하였다. 스위치 특성을 개선시킬 수 있는 최적의 구조를 위해서 series와 series-shunt 구조를 혼용하였고, 칩 크기를 줄이기 위해서 수신단에 공통 트랜지스터 구조를 사용하였다. 또한, 시스템에 사용되는 ON, OFF 상태의 입력 전력을 고려하여 트랜지스터의 게이트 크기와 스택(stack) 수를 결정하였다. 마지막으로 피드 포워드(feed forward) 캐패시터, shunt 캐패시터 그리고 shunt 트랜지스터의 기생 인덕턴스 공진 기법을 적용하여 격리도 및 전력 특성을 개선하였다. 제작된 스위치 칩의 크기는 $1.2{\times}1.5\;mm^2$이며, S 파라미터 측정 결과 삽입 손실은 0.5~1.2 dB, 격리도는 28~36 dB를 보였다. 전력 특성으로는 4 W의 입력 전력에 대해서도 삽입 손실 및 격리도의 특성 변화가 없었으며, 75 dBc 이상의 2차 및 3차 고조파 억제 특성이 확보되었다.

비접촉 진동 검출을 위한 유도성 근접센서모듈 개발 (Development of the Inductive Proximity Sensor Module for Detection of Non-contact Vibration)

  • 금속물체의 피로도를 측정하기 위하여 고속으로 진동시키면서 비접촉으로 정밀하게 변위를 측정하는 방법에 대한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 비접촉 고속 진동 검출센서들은 와류 센서나 레이저 센서들을 주로 사용하고있지만 매우 고가이다. 최근 저가의 유도성 센서를 고속 진동검출에 적용하려는 연구가 이루어지고 있으나 아직은 초보단계이다. 본 연구에서는 저가의 유도성 센서를 이용하여 비접촉으로 고속 진동을 검출하는 새로운 근접 센서모듈 설계방법을 제안하였다. 기존의 유도성 센서모듈들은 검파, 적분, 및 증폭과정을 통하여 변위를 검출하기 때문에 아날로그회로 특성상 잡음에 약하고 적분과정에서 변위 검출속도 저하의 요인이 된다. 제안된 방법은 AD변환기(Analog to Digital converter)를 사용하지 않고 진동 주파수신호를 직접 디지털 신호로 변환하는 새로운 방법으로 아날로그 잡음의 영향을 적게 받으며 고속으로 신호를 처리할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 성능 평가를 위하여 셰이커로 진동 주파수를 30Hz부터 1,100Hz 까지 일정간격으로 금속편을 진동시키면서 제안된 센서 모듈을 이용하여 비접촉으로 진동 신호를 검출하였다. 실험결과 비접촉 근접 거리 5mm 이내에서 진동 주파수 검출범위는 DC에서 1,100Hz까지 측정할 수 있었으며 진동 폭의 해상도는 $20{\mu}m$로 나타났다. 따라서 제안된 유도성 센서모듈은 정밀 비접촉 고속 진동검출 센서로서 충분한 성능을 가지고 있다고 평가된다.

그리드 환경에서 SP분할 알고리즘을 이용한 확장성 있는 RFID 태그 판별 (RFID Tag Identification with Scalability Using SP-Division Algorithm on the Grid Environment)

  • 최근 RFID 시스템의 채택이 다양한 분야에서 빠르게 진행되고 있다. 그러나 RFID 시스템의 대중화를 위해서는 RFID 태그의 정보를 무단으로 획득함으로써 발생할 수 있는 프라이버시 침해 문제를 해결해야 한다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해서 기존 연구들 중에서 가장 안전한 M. Ohkubo 등의 Hash-Chain 기법이 있다. 그러나 이 기법은 태그를 판별할 때 엄청난 태그 수의 증가로 인해 막대한 계산 능력을 요구하는 문제점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 프라이버시 보호 기법의 필수 보안 요건 3가지를 모두 만족하면서 태그 판별 시간을 감소할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 먼저 이질적인 시스템으로 구성되는 그리드 환경의 특성으로 인해 최적화된 성능을 얻기 위하여 Hash-Chain 계산 테이블을 생성하는 프로그램을 작성한 후 각 노드들의 성능 측정한다. 그 측정 결과를 이용하여 SP들을 분할하는 SP분할 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한, 구현 결과 Hash-Chain 길이 1000, 노드 수 4로 고정된 상태에서 측정한 결과를 단일 노드와 균등분할, SP분할을 비교하면 SP들의 총수가 1000개 일 때 40%, 49%, 2000개 일 때 42%, 51%, 3000개 일 때 39%, 49%, 4000개 일 때 46%, 55%가 향상되었다.

서비스지배논리하에서 가치공동창출 매커니즘과 기업성과간의 관계에 대한 연구 (Understanding the Relationship between Value Co-Creation Mechanism and Firm's Performance based on the Service-Dominant Logic)

  • AIn the advanced - economy, the services industry hasbecome a dominant sector. Evidently, the services sector has grown at a much faster rate than any other. For instance, in such developed countries as the U.S., the proportion of the services sector in its GDP is greater than 75%. Even in the developing countries including India and China, the magnitude of the services sector in their GDPs is rapidly growing. The increasing dependence on service gives rise to new initiatives including service science and service-dominant logic. These new initiatives propose a new theoretical prism to promote the better understanding of the changing economic structure. From the new perspectives, service is no longer regarded as a transaction or exchange, but rather co-creation of value through the interaction among service users, providers, and other stakeholders including partners, external environments, and customer communities. The purpose of this study is the following. First, we review previous literature on service, service innovation, and service systems and integrate the studies based on service dominant logic. Second, we categorize the ten propositions of service dominant logic into conceptual propositions and the ones that are directly related to service provision. Conceptual propositions are left out to form the research model. With the selected propositions, we define the research constructs for this study. Third, we develop measurement items for the new service concepts including service provider network, customer network, value co-creation, and convergence of service with product. We then propose a research model to explain the relationship among the factors that affect the value creation mechanism. Finally, we empirically investigate the effects of the factors on firm performance. Through the process of this research study, we want to show the value creation mechanism of service systems in which various participants in service provision interact with related parties in a joint effort to create values. To test the proposed hypotheses, we developed measurement items and distributed survey questionnaires to domestic companies. 500 survey questionnaires were distributed and 180 were returned among which 171 were usable. The results of the empirical test can be summarized as the following. First, service providers' network which is to help offer required services to customers is found to affect customer network, while it does not have a significant effect on value co-creation and product-service convergence. Second, customer network, on the other hand, appears to influence both value co-creation and product-service convergence. Third, value co-creation accomplished through the collaboration of service providers and customers is found to have a significant effect on both product-service convergence and firm performance. Finally, product-service convergence appears to affect firm performance. To interpret the results from the value creation mechanism perspective, service provider network well established to support customer network is found to have significant effect on customer network which in turn facilitates value co-creation in service provision and product-service convergence to lead to greater firm performance. The results have some enlightening implications for practitioners. If companies want to transform themselves into service-centered business enterprises, they have to consider the four factors suggested in this study: service provider network, customer network, value co-creation, and product-service convergence. That is, companies becoming a service-oriented organization need to understand what the four factors are and how the factors interact with one another in their business context. They then may want to devise a better tool to analyze the value creation mechanism and apply the four factors to their own environment. This research study contributes to the literature in following ways. First, this study is one of the very first empirical studies on the service dominant logic as it has categorized the fundamental propositions into conceptual and empirically testable ones and tested the proposed hypotheses against the data collected through the survey method. Most of the propositions are found to work as Vargo and Lusch have suggested. Second, by providing a testable set of relationships among the research variables, this study may provide policy makers and decision makers with some theoretical grounds for their decision making on what to do with service innovation and management. Finally, this study incorporates the concepts of value co-creation through the interaction between customers and service providers into the proposed research model and empirically tests the validity of the concepts. The results of this study will help establish a value creation mechanism in the service-based economy, which can be used to develop and implement new service provision.
