그림책을 활용한 리더십교육 프로그램이 유아의 리더십에 미치는 영향 (The Effect Analysis of a Picture Book-Based Leadership Education Program)

  • 본 연구는 그림책을 활용한 리더십교육 프로그램이 유아의 리더십에 미치는 효과를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구대상은 실험집단 38명, 비교집단 38명 총76명이며, C유치원의 만4세 30명 두 반과 M유치원의 만5세 46명 두 반이다. 10주간 주1회 총10회 프로그램을 실시하고, 장영숙과 황윤세(2009)의 유아리더십 평가도구를 프로그램 실시 전후에 교사에게 배부하여 자료를 수집한 후, t-검증과 공분산분석(ANCOVA)을 통해 효과를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 만5세 유아의 경우, 비교집단 보다 실험집단에서 리더십 점수가 높았으며, 리더십의 구성요소 중 도전과 자신감, 자기행동관리, 문제해결력에서 유의미하게 향상되어 만5세 유아의 리더십 증진에 그림책을 활용한 리더십교육 프로그램이 효과적임이 밝혀졌다.

시뮬레이션 실습을 경험한 간호대학생의 임상수행능력에 영향을 미치는 융합적 요인 (Convergence Analysis of the Factors Influencing Clinical Competency among Nursing Students Participated in Simulation-based Practice)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상수행능력에 영향을 미치는 융합적인 요인들을 파악하기 위하여 실시하였다. 연구대상은 4년제 일 간호대학에 재학중인 간호대학생 185명이였으며 측정 도구는 셀프리더쉽, 비판적 사고성향, 자기주도학습능력, 문제해결과정, 임상수행능력에 관한 문항으로 구성되었다. 셀프리더쉽, 비판적 사고성향, 자기주도학습능력, 문제해결과정, 임상수행능력정도는 기술통계로 분석하였고 제 변수들 간의 상관관계는 Pearson correlation coefficients, 임상수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 다중 선형 회귀분석(Multiple linear regression)을 적용하였다. 임상수행능력은 셀프리더쉽, 비판적 사고성향, 자기주도학습능력, 문제해결과정과 유의한 정적상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났다(r=.580, r=.604, r=.668, r=.627). 대인관계(β=.148), 비판적 사고성향(β=.158), 문제해결과정(β=.165), 자기주도학습능력(β=.321)순으로 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타나 임상수행능력의 53%를 설명하였다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 간호대학생들의 임상수행능력을 향상시키기 위한 프로그램 개발에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

The Effect of Problem-Based Learning for Patient Safety on Self-Leadership, Patient Safety Competencies, and Reflective Thinking of Nursing Students

  • This study is a one-group pretest-posttest design to evaluate the effect of problem-based learning (PBL) for patient safety on self-leadership, patient safety competencies, and reflective thinking of nursing students. The research was conducted from March 2 to April 15, 2022, in which 57 nursing students participated. PBL for patient safety was examined in a total of 8 sessions in the order of motivation, problem identification, task performance planning, problem-solving methods, summary and solution, presentation, and evaluation. The following topics of patient safety were selected for each team: nursing records, high-alert medication, medication error and intravenous fluid regulation, blood transfusion care, fall, bedsore, infection control, and pain management. We provided feedback on the learning process and outcomes of nursing students. According to the results, self-leadership showed a statistically significant improvement in self-expectations (t=2.60, p=0.01), goal setting (t=2.84, p<0.01), self-reward (t=3.32, p<0.01), and self-criticism (t=2.32, p=0.02). Patient safety competencies showed a statistically significant improvement in patient safety knowledge (t=13.05, p<0.001) and patient safety skills (t=4.87, p<0.001) but not in reflective thinking. The results prove that PBL for patient safety is an effective teaching-learning strategy to improve self-leadership and patient safety competencies. Future studies must develop and validate specific and long-term teaching-learning methods to improve reflective thinking.

스마트 교육을 활용한 팀 기반 문제 중심 학습의 효과: 고위험 신생아 간호를 중심으로 (Effects of Team-based Problem-based Learning Combined with Smart Education: A Focus on High-risk Newborn Care)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the effects of team-based problem-based learning combined with smart education among nursing students. Methods: A quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group, pre-posttest design was used. The experimental group (n=36) received problem-based learning combined with smart education and lectures 7 times over the course of 7 weeks (100 minutes weekly). Control group (n=34) only received instructor-centered lectures 7 times over the course of 7 weeks (100 minutes weekly). Data were analyzed using the $x^2$ test, the Fisher exact test, and the independent t-test with SPSS for Windows version 21.0. Results: After the intervention, the experimental group reported increased learning motivation (t=2.70, p=.009), problem-solving ability (t=2.25, p=.028), academic self-efficacy (t=4.76, p<.001), self-learning ability (t=2.78, p<.001), and leadership (t=2.78, p=.007) relative to the control group. Conclusion: Team-based problem-based learning combined with smart education and lectures was found to be an effective approach for increasing the learning motivation, problem-solving ability, academic self-efficacy, self-learning ability, and leadership of nursing students.

리더의 피드백은 종업원의 창의적 문제해결 행동을 촉진시키는가? 종업원의 피드백 수용정도와 직무 복잡성의 3차항 상호작용효과 (When and How does Leader Feedback Promote Employee Creative Problem-solving Behavior? A Three-way Interaction Model of Employee Feedback Acceptance and Task Complexity)

  • Purpose: This paper investigates the effects of leader feedback on employee creative problem-solving behavior. It also explores the relevant conditions that maximize the above relationship from the psychological trait and task nature perspectives. Specifically we examine how employee feedback acceptance and task complexity moderate the relationship between leader's feedback behavior on follower creative problem-solving behavior. Finally the three-way interaction among leader's feedback behavior, employee feedback acceptance and task complexity is analyzed for the best conditions to maximize the positive effect of leader's feedback on creative problem solving behavior. Methods: This paper used a cross-sectional design with questionnaires administered to 411 employees working in Korean manufacturing and service firms. It applied a hierarchical regression analysis to test the hypothesized relationships including three-way interaction effect among leader's feedback behavior, follower feedback acceptance and task complexity on follower creative problem-solving behavior. Results: The empirical results of the paper indicated that the leader feedback behavior had enhanced employee creative problem-solving behavior. It was also found that follower feedback acceptance and task complexity positively moderated the relationship between leader's feedback and follower problem solving behavior. In addition, the test of three-way interaction effects also revealed that the higher the levels of both employee feedback acceptance and task complexity, the greater the positive effect of leader feedback behavior on employee creative problem solving behavior. Conclusion: This paper contributes to the leadership and creativity literatures by identifying the role of leader's behavior enhancing employee creative problem-solving behavior and the specific conditions strengthening the positive effect of leader feedback behavior on employee creative problem-solving behavior.

외식기업 문화와 리더십이 경쟁 우위에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Organization Culture and Leadership on Competitive Advantage in Food Service Companies)

  • In order to cope with the severe business environment and possess the competitive advantage in the food service industry, the effect of organization culture and leadership on competitive advantage in food service companies was investigated. The friendly culture was regarded as important in relation between corporate culture and leadership. And the tendency to participate was shown to be highly correlated to leadership. Leadership and competitive advantage were influenced by the tendency to participate, differentiation and competence. The corporate culture and competitive advantage were affected by the friendly culture, differentiation and competence. Especially, the organization culture was more important than leadership. Therefore, it is necessary to execute the tendency to participate, differentiate products, service and management, and attract customers. And the maintenance of competitive power is required to develop a new product, evaluate customer satisfaction, and improve decision making, problem solving and crisis management.

월드프렌즈 IT봉사단의 성과평가 연구: 개별 봉사단원의 특성과 역량, 인성, 인적 네트워크부문 성과지표를 중심으로 (Measuring the Performance of World Friends IT Volunteers)

  • 본 연구는 한국정보화진흥원에서 주관하는 월드프렌즈 IT봉사단의 성과지표로서 단원들의 '역량(문제해결능력, 셀프리더쉽), 인성(자아효능감), 인적네트워크(문화 간 감수성)'의 변화와 개인별 특성에 따른 성과 차이를 알아보고자 2016년에 모집되어 개도국에 파견된 IT봉사단 364명을 대상으로 사전 검사, 봉사 활동 수행, 사후 검사를 실시하였다. 그리고 수집된 자료는 사전검사의 결과를 공변수로 하여 공분산분석(ANCOVA)으로 검증하였다. 그 결과, 단원들은 문제해결력, 셀프 리더쉽, 문화 간 감수성이 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 또한 개인적 특성별로 보면, 여학생이 남학생보다 문화 간 감수성이, 남학생이 여학생보다 자아효능감이, 영어의사소통능력이 높은 학생이 낮은 학생보다 문화 간 감수성과 셀프 리더쉽이 향상되었다. 또한 단기체류 유경험자가 무경험자보다 문제해결력과 문화 간 감수성이, 장기체류 유경험자가 무경험자보다 문화 간 감수성이 높아진 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 리더 역할을 담당한 단원이 팀원들보다 자아효능감이 향상되는 것으로 확인되었다.

An Interdisciplinary Approach to Industry-Based Complex Problem-Solving: Sustainable Policy Solutions to the Malaysian Water Crisis

  • This paper focuses on how an integrated or systemic approach is needed to both investigate and connect different kinds of interdisciplinary inquiry and knowledge within and beyond universities to encourage more productive collaboration with the other three ‘macro stakeholders’ - government, business, and the wider community. In this way universities can and should provide a greater leadership role in sustainability, innovation and policy studies. Such a framework is needed to also help to change the view of many that academics should just play a supporting role of providing specialised technical expertise only to the other macro stakeholders. The interdisciplinary and collaborative framework developed here is applied to the on-going water crisis in Malaysia - an exemplary complex problem-solving basis for seeking sustainable policy solutions to diverse challenges. As further discussed, this was applied also in practice to a multi-stakeholder seminar on addressing the difficult policy challenges of the Malaysian water industry and sector.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relations of peer competence to children's interpersonal problem solving skills and mothers' parenting behavior. The subjects were 88, 6-year-old children and their mothers. Instruments used included the Peer Competence Scale, PIPS, and the revised version of IPBI. The data were analyzed with Pearson correlations, partial correlations, and stepwise regression. Children's sociability was explained mostly by mothers' intimacy-reasoning guidance, parental involvement, and children's positive alternative Solutions. Children's prosocial behavior was explained mostly by mothers' intimacy-reasoning guidance and children's positive alternative solutions. Children's leadership was explained most by mothers' involvement and Omit selling in parenting.

간호리더십에 대한 개념 분석 (Concept Analysis of Nursing Leadership)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide a concept analysis of nursing leadership. Methods: The concept analysis process of Walker and Avant (2011) was used. A review of the literature was conducted using several databases, including PubMed, CINAHL, Ovid-Medline, DBpia, and KISS. The databases were searched using the following terms 'nursing leadership', 'nursing' & 'leadership', and 'nurse & 'leadership', and for studies published from January 2000 to March 2015. Strict inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied. Results: Analysis of these studies indicated nursing leadership attributes were individual growth, collaboration, nursing excellence, creative problem solving, and influence. The antecedents of nursing leadership were the individual maturity level, construction of mutual trust and confidential relationships, and a job requirement. The consequences were improvement in nursing productivity, development of a supportive work environment, and satisfaction with the nursing profession. Conclusion: The findings in this study provide a definite concept of nursing leadership. The findings also provide the theoretical evidence for the development of nursing leadership competencies in nursing students and professional nurses.
