The taxonomic revision was made on the tribe Harpalini (Coleoptera: Carabidae) in Korea. The Korean species are arranged after Kryzhanovskij et al. (1995) system with minor emendation. This present list is an attempt to bring together the available literature and collection-based information on fauna or taxa recorded from Korea (including some collections from the northern part of the Korean Peninsula, now North Korea). Materials examined for each species, an annotative checklist of Korean Carabidae, and the practical key to tribes and genera are provided. As a result, a total 86 species (and subspecies) belonging to 13 genera are recognized from the Korean Peninsula, of which one species (Harpalus egorovi) is new to South Korea. Distribution of two species, Harpalus tardus and H. tibeticus hsifanicus, are very doubtful in the Korean Peninsula. Besides, numerous new distribution records are given as based on materials deposited in various Universities and private collections.

In this paper, we discussed various securities of electronic signature. Merchants or sellers must address all Internet security concerns. Security technology may secure the routes of Internet communication, but it does not protect consumers from people with whom they might choose to do business. To Protect consumer information, they must maintain physical security of their servers and control access to software passwords and private keys. Techniqaues such as secret and public-key encryption and digital signatures play a crucial role in developing consumer confidence in electronic commerce.

Today, rapid evolution of Internet makes various types of services in ubiquitous environment are intelligent and active. As a result, user's demand on high quality of life increases and health care service based on ubiquitous environment draws a lot of attention. However, user's private information used for health care service is illegally distributed and exposed, causing serious individual and social problems. Therefore, this thesis is intended to suggest a secure health care service to prevent unauthorized third party's access and to protect user's privacy in health care systems. The proposed scheme establishes a session key through communication channel between health care system and user based on explicit mutual authentication and provides secure communication and access control, improving security as one of the leading health care systems.

Six sigma activities in an information and communication technology company in Korea are introduced. Korea Telecom(KT) was a public company for a long time and became a private enterprise not long ago. Although this company adopted many innovation programs, they were not effective because of the company's characteristics : long-time government-owned and information service industry. This paper describes the reason why KT introduced six sigma, some implementation strategy, and key factors to successfully deploy it. This paper is expected to be helpful to public or service industry in which it is very difficult to implement innovation activities.

Information, or the lack of information, is the central concern of many people. And it is now an economic resource and must be paid. An ever increasing gap will grow between information 'have' and 'have not'. The new communications market place is a social phenomenon, and a vital key to examining changing patterns of social and cultural inequality. There are two main arenas of action in this ongoing conflict. Inside the library system itself, a combination of forces is weakening the historic principle of free, socially underwritten access. Outside, great efforts have been exerted in recent years, by private interests, to capture the information stockpiles built up from tax-su n.0, pported outlays on research and development and general governmental activities that produce data. The for-profit a n.0, pplication of the new information technologies threatens the survival of the free access principles. And the commercialization of information is proceeding almost uninterruptedly. It has been extended into areas that historically have been regarded as non-profit-making and endowed with a deep public interest. This study discussed some general issues and what we should do.

This paper presents the development of electromagnetic wave detecting equipment for diagnosis of enclosed switchboard. High voltage power equipments are very important equipment of the key industries and the private enterprise. Power line accidents are national plans because of those set off casualties lose of power equipments and communication networks. Therefore the necessity of the development of detecting for power equipment diagnosis is demand for prevention of high voltage equipment accidents. This paper is the development of electromagnetic wave detecting equipment for diagnosis of high voltage equipment. This paper establishes the diagnosis method for high voltage power equipments, that secures original technique and possesses detecting technique for electromagnetic wave. By the study we developed electromagnetic wave detector, and we applied this equipment application tests at the place constructed high voltage equipments.

Rijndael algorithm is known to a new private key block cipher which is substitute for DES. Rijndael algorithm is adequate to both hardware and software implementation, so hardware implementation of Rijndael algorithm is applied to high speed data encryption and decryption. This paper describes three implementation methods of Rijndael S-box, which is important factor in performance of Rijndael coprocessor. It shows synthesis results of each S-box implementation in Xilinx FPGA. Tllc lilree S-box implementation methods are implementation using lookup table only, implementation using both lookup table and combinational logic, and implementation using combinational logic only.

For the domestic glasses industry to procure competitiveness in the world CA(Cellulose Acetate) frame of spectacles market, CNC machining system for CA frame including high-value added CA cutting technologies should be developed with new materials for the rim based on Cellulose and sheet manufacturing base. The spindle system of glasses frame equipment that is the core to the quality of CA frame is the key technologies to realize high-speed, high-precision so its importance is remarkably emerging. In the study, at the structural design of the high spindle system of the private equipment for CA glasses frame embedded a motor of 40,000rpm, the stability of design was analyzed and investigated through selecting lubrication structure and thermal characteristics of the spindle system.

In these days, private investment for railway business has been expended and the importance of asset management arose. Especially new concept and effective management for the maintenance of railway have been developed. RCM(Reliability Centered Maintenance) is suggested to optimize the maintenance task and the proper maintenance decision logic for each system has been needed. But there are a lot of difficulties to apply the maintenance decision logic which has been developed in Aviation fields to railway. In this paper, the study on the development of the maintenance decision logic will be introduced through the risk analysis which has been applied to analyze the safety of railway.

This study aims to examine the operation of a free semester system geared towards meeting education user needs by researching on youth training activities, a method of fostering talents to be equipped with the 21st-century society-required creativity, innovation ability, cooperation spirit and leadership, communication ability, problem-solving power, and venturing spirit, among other key capabilities. Thus, targeting seven public and private youth training facilities in Jeollanam-do, user satisfaction with ongoing youth training activities and achievement levels were surveyed so that problems of training facilities could be identified and improvement measures could be presented so as to ensure education that can satisfy both education providers and users.
