Objectives: Understanding the factors influencing mothers' decision to breastfeed their infants is essential to formulate effective breastfeeding interventions. This study explored the determinants of optimal breastfeeding indicators in Indonesia. Methods: We used the 2017 Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey to analyze factors associated with early initiation of breastfeeding, exclusive breastfeeding (EBF), and continued breastfeeding at 1 year (CBF-1) and 2 years (CBF-2). Multivariate logistic regression models were used to examine bio-demographic, socio-cultural, and behavioral characteristics associated with breastfeeding after considering the survey design effect. Results: The risk of delayed breastfeeding initiation was higher among infants who were born smaller, first-born children, were delivered via cesarean delivery, and did not have immediate skin-to-skin contact (p<0.01). Infant's age, birth pattern, household wealth index, and the mother's occupation and smoking status were predictors of EBF (p<0.05). CBF-1 was less common among first-time mothers and those working in the non-agricultural sector, mothers from wealthier families, and mothers who had cesarean deliveries (p<0.01). Infant's age was negatively associated with CBF-2 (adjusted odds ratio [aOR], 0.85; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.74 to 0.99). Mothers attending college were less likely to practice CBF-2 than those with no education or primary education (aOR, 0.45; 95% CI, 0.26 to 0.77). The absence of postnatal visits was a risk factor for CBF-1 and CBF-2 (p<0.05). Conclusions: Breastfeeding interventions in Indonesia should pay particular attention to at-risk groups such as women from wealthier families, working outside the agricultural sector, and with a higher education level. Nutrition-sensitive programs (e.g., postnatal care and smoking cessation) should also be encouraged.
We modified the optical system of 500 mm wide-field telescope of which point spread function showed an irregularity. The telescope has been operated for Near Earth Space Survey (NESS) located at Siding Spring Observatory (SSO) in Australia, and the optical system was brought back to Korea in January 2008. After performing a numerical simulation with the tested value of surface figure error of the primary mirror using optical design program, we found that the surface figure error of the mirror should be fabricated less than root mean square (RMS) $\lambda$/10 in order to obtain a stellar full width at half maximum (FWHM) below $28\;{\mu}m$. However, we started to figure the mirror for the target value of RMS $\lambda$/20, because system surface figure error would be increased by the error induced by the optical axis adjustment, mirror cell installation, and others. The radius of curvature of the primary mirror was 1,946 mm after the correction. Its measured surface figure error was less than RMS $\lambda$/20 on the table of polishing machine, and RMS $\lambda$/15 after installation in the primary mirror cell. A test observation performed at Daeduk Observatory at Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute by utilizing the exiting mount, and resulted in $39.8\;{\mu}m$ of stellar FWHM. It was larger than the value from numerical simulation, and showed wing-shaped stellar image. It turned out that the measured-curvature of the secondary mirror, 1,820 mm, was not the same as the designed one, 1,795.977 mm. We fabricated the secondary mirror to the designed value, and finally obtained a stellar FWHM of $27\;{\mu}m$ after re-installation of the optical system into SSO NESS Observatory in Australia.
This study is a trend analysis study that discusses the current status and directions of research methods of KAP research. The existing trend ana lysis studies dealing with research methods have problems in that the classification criteria of the studies used are rough and different from each other, rendering comparison between studies being difficult, and do not comprehensively cover research methods of diversified KAP research. Therefore, this study examined the research methods of KAP research from a critical point of view and suggested a set of classification criteria and an analysis framework that can be used consistently in classification and analysis of future KAP research methods. Based on the theoretical background of second language studies and applied linguistics, this study revised and supplemented Brown (2015)'s research method types and selected 289 journals and theses/dissertations from 2012 to 2016 and classified them into a new analysis framework. The primary and secondary studies, which are the major categories, were 219 and 70, respectively, so it was confirmed that there were much more primary studies. The primary studies then were subdivided into 128 qualitative research studies, 142 survey research studies, and 23 quantitative research studies, pointing to the trend that survey and qualitative research methods were preferred. In the qualitative research approaches, there were 21 action research studies, which were used the most. In addition, such qualitative research approaches as case studies and narrative inquiries which were difficult to find in the past, have gradually increased, confirming that the diversification of research methods is becoming common. However, there were still many studies that did not explicitly put forward research questions and there were many studies that did not report reliability and effect sizes in quantitative research. Of the 23 quantitative studies, only 50% reported reliability, and only three reported effect sizes. In order to enable systematic reviews (meta-analysis) of quantitative research and expect quality improvement of research in future KAP research, reporting of quantitative research should be done more systematically. This study is meaningful in that a systematic and detailed analysis framework was proposed to classify various research methods in the future and that the problems and directions for improvement of the KAP research methods were discussed through the analysis of the research trend of the KAP studies for the last 5 years.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Read Along by Google with primary English learners' pronunciation and affective domains. In order to answer these two questions, a 4-week pilot study was conducted with 24 participants in the 6 th grade. Read Along as a main learning tool was utilized for a reading-aloud activity, and a pre-/post pronunciation test and survey on the affective factors were distributed as a research instrument. The results indicated that a read-aloud activity with Read Along brought a positive impact on the development of learners' pronunciation ability in terms of accuracy and fluency. Participants showed improvement in the post-pronunciation test, compared to the pre-one and there was a significant difference based on the result of the paired samples t-test. Next, the results of the survey on the affective domains illustrated that participants showed overall improvement in learning interest and confidence and there was a significant difference in these factors. Yet, there was not a significant difference in the learning attitude, even though they showed partial improvement.
To examine the result of the government Medical Aid Program which began in January, 1977 as a part of social security policy implementation, all the medical records of the clients and official statistics in the year were analysed. The specific objectives this study pursues include the magnitudes and patterns of morbidity and utilization, and the characteristics of clients. One Korean rural area, Koje county was selected as the study area and subsequently all the clinics and hospitals assigned to work out the Aid Program are the subjects for the survey. A brief summary of the sutdy results as follows: a. The clients of Koje county are 6.4% of the total population in the area, more than the average percentage of the clients in Korea. It reflects on low level of economic status of the residents of the area. b. The population structure of the clients indicates that the large proportions of young and old age group are overwhelming, while the middle age group share very small portions. c. The utilization rates for primary care are 2.0 persons, 11.6 visits and 22.6 treatment days per 100 persons per months. Annual hospitalization is rated as 13.7 cases and 164 days per 1,000 persons, The utilization rates are slightly lower than those expected rates during planning period but eventually become higher than those of general population in rural Korea. d. The factors which influence the utilization rates are identified with client group (low income vs indigent), age and sex. e. The utilization pattern for primary care demonstrates seasonal variation similar to the pattern of general rural population in the low income group, but none in the indigent group. f. The most common diseases revealed at the primary care clinics are the acute respiratory infection (26.9%), acute gastritis (10.8%), skin and subcutaneous infection (6.8%). The cases of acute conditions are outnumbered than the cases of chronic condition. 8. The clinics, hospitals and other related health institutions are well cooperated in dealing health care services in their own capacities. Considering the above results Medical Aid Program generated satisfactory results at least in the utilization aspect.
This study aimed to analyze the degree of concern and satisfaction of elementary students about school science lesson. For this study, the survey was carried out on 660 primary school students in the 4th, 5th and 6th grades. The results of this study are as follows; The degree of concern and satisfaction of primary school students about school science lesson was higher than usual label. And the degree of satisfaction was higher than the degree of concern. This means that school science lessons are sufficient to the expectations of the students and are desirable. The correlation of the degree of concern about school science lesson and the degree of satisfaction about school science lessons was an affirmative interrelation. This means that the more the degree of concern about school science lesson is higher, the more the degree of satisfaction about school science lesson is higher. The students who were younger, had higher interest in science showed a higher degree of concern and satisfaction about school science lessons, but there were no differences when it came to sex. This means that students are provided the experience in which they are able to do the various scientific activities and they are able to study science joyfully. Consequently, teachers should teach students well by grasping the degree of concern and satisfaction of primary school students about school science lessons.

To determine the status of Enterobius vermicularis infection among children living on western and southern coastal islands of the Republic of Korea, children (3-10 years) in 39 kindergartens and primary schools were examined using the cello-tape anal swab method, during July and August 2000. Of 1,661 children examined, $307(18.5\%) $were found to be positive for E. vermicularis eggs. The highest infection rate $(59.3\%)$ was found in a kindergarten and a branch school of Shinyang primary school on Chujado, Jeju-do (Province), Remarkable differences in egg positive rates were observed in different localities. The egg positive rate for boys $(21.3\%)$ was significantly higher than that of girls $(15.4\%)$ (P=0.02). However, positive rates were not significantly dependent on age. The results of the present study show that E. vermicularis infection is highly prevalent among pre-school and primary school children living on the western and southern coastal islands of the Republic of Korea, and indicate the need for efforts to control this infection.
In order to evaluate the erects of regular health education by a school nurse on a child's health-related knowledge and health-related behavior, a questionnaire survey was conducted with primary school students (4th, 5th, 6th grade) from December 5 to December 15, 1998. Subjects of the study were composed of two groups; one group who had regular health education by a school nurse and the other group who had no regular health education by a school nurse. The results obtained from the data analysis were as follows: 1. There was no significant difference in general characteristics between broth groups, but significant difference in parent-related characteristics and health-related characteristics were detected. 2. The health-related knowledge score was 21.98 in the regular health education group and 21.04 in the control group. There was significant differences between both groups (p<0.05). 3. Significant differences in the practice of health-related behaviors were detected between both groups (p<0.05). 4. The variables associated with the practice of health-related behaviors were regular health education, health-related knowledge, the education level of the mother, ignorance of health and parent's concern about the child's health (p<0.05). 5. The practice of regular health education was significantly related to the prevention of communicable disease, concern about health and total health behavior (p<0.05). From the above results, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between regular health education and the practice of health-related behavior after controlling other variables. According to the results, suggestions are as follows; 1. Evaluation of health-related knowledge and behaviors be conducted by the school nurse on pre and post-education. 2. The primary school student can be educated about health by the school nurse.

The primary purpose of this research paper is to study the nutrition intake status of primary school children and their physique index. Three hundred and ten children of 4th grade, 10 years old, 4 school class in Junbuk province had been selected. Calorie and nutrients were found to be below the recommended level, especially in calcium an vitamin $B_2$. Animal-protein intake averaged about 33% of total protein intake. Total calorie intake were composed of 84% from carbohydrate, 5% from fat and 11% from protein in the case of boys. The girls were 83%, 6%, 11%, respectively. The staple of lunch-boxes for boys supplied 84% of RDA in calorie, 66%, in total-protein 38%, calcium, 32%, Iron, 56%, vitamin $B_1$, 37%, vitamin $B_2$ and 63%, in niacin for girls were 82%, 52%, 28%, 37%, 39%, 37%, 51% respectively.

The purpose of school education and that of school library services are the same and the school librarians are expected to provide useful programs for the curriculum development. The effective operation of the school library need to be reformed in spite of various obstacles. If the primary school teachers perception and expectation on school librarians'roles are appropriate this will greatly motivate and mare active utilization of school library by the students. The purpose of this study are to survey the role of school librarian and to friend out the perception and expectation of primary school teachers on the school library services and finally to use its results for more efficient management of school library in teaching programs. It is conclude, base on the results, that they recognize the importance of school library and need to assign school librarians and also expect various services including school library education programs.
