  • Purpose: This study aimed to conduct a scoping review of studies on interventions for the prevention of safety accidents involving infants. Methods: The scoping review method by Arksey and O'Malley was used to conduct an overview based on information spanning a wide range of fields. Multiple electronic databases, PubMed, CINAHL, RISS, and KISS, were searched for articles written in English or Korean published from 2012 to the present on safety accident prevention interventions. A total of 2,137 papers were found, and 20 papers were ultimately analyzed. Results: Most studies were conducted in the United States (55.0%) and in the medical field (45.0%), and most were experimental studies (35.0%). The results were organized across five categories: 1) preventive precautions, 2) characteristics of children's developmental stages, 3) encouraging voluntary participation, 4) continuity of interventions, and 5) teaching methods. Conclusion: Safety accident prevention interventions should cover the establishment of a safe home environment, include voluntary participation, and provide routine follow-up interventions. Additionally, practical training and teaching methods that incorporate feedback rather than a lecture-oriented approach should be adopted.

  • Automobile was first introduced in 1903 in South Korea, the masses of the car was carried out rapidly compared to other countries. However, many people were killed in a traffic accidents and economic loss was occurred due to the spread of the automobile. In South Korea, 2012, traffic accident occurred 223,656 times, 5,392 fatality, 344,565 injured people. In the last five years, about 224,000 accidents per year were occurring. In other words, 610 traffic accidents occur and about 15 people pass away in one day. In addition, the proportion of traffic accidents is first place in the OECD countries and it is very high in the world. Understand occurrence tendency of traffic accident, accident frequency rate of the driver who drives more than 10 years was higher than the novice driver. In addition, as a result of examining the cause of the traffic accident, breach of safe driving obligation appears highest case (125,391 times), and followed by signal violation, break safety distance. Therefore, the majority of traffic accidents occurred by the lack of safety awareness of the driver. In this study, prevent the loss of human life and property in traffic disaster, by establish disaster prevention measures that investigated by questionnaire survey and statistical data of the state of consciousness and driving posture in response to the driving history of the driver.

  • Despite the government's various safety measures, the number of safety accidents continues to rise and the interior is more likely to occur indoors than outdoors. Safety accidents involving young children account for more than 70 % of the safety accidents in the safety accidents, and the ratio of safety accidents in the classroom or classroom is more than 50 %. In this thesis the author proposes the system managing the accidents notification service using LED lighting and access entry control. Utilizing IoT technology, remote control or access can be controlled remotely by controlling multiple lights and entrances from each room and by means of a number of lighting and entrances. By monitoring and analyzing real-time status via server PC and mobile interface, it can control the maximum control and incident prevention, automatic control, and automatic control.

  • It has been only a few years since drones have been introduced to Korea, and as the use of drones has increased in industrial sites as well as in hobby activities, accidents such as workers' body parts coming into contact with rotating propellers have been occurring since 2016. Industrial accident cases are being filed. In the case of a remote control vehicle, if you release the remote controller in the event of an abnormal situation, it stops in place and no further danger occurs but in case of drones flying over the sky is different. Sudden motor stops during flight, uncontrolled changes in flight posture, loss of radio waves, loose propeller, etc, numerous factors can lead to accidents due to unintentional movements. Therefore, drone operators need safety knowledge as well as high knowledge about drones. However, drones with a weight of less than 12 kg can fly without a pilot's certification, and therefore, a minimum accident prevention measure is required. 10 accidents approved as industrial accidents since 2016, 23 accidents surveyed by general drone operator, 40 accidents surveyed by the Korean Consumer Resources Unfortunately for the purpose of writing this paper, drones are a new species and do not have many parameters for analysis but my experience has shown that the type of disaster does not deviate significantly. In addition, there is no paper that analyzes drone related industrial accidents not only in Korea but also in other countries. However, even if you watch an overseas drone accident video through YouTube, it is not much different from the case that occurs in Korea. I hope that this study will be of little help to all the drone pilots as well as the work safety of industrial drones used in industrial sites.

  • Since 1990 in South Korea, the considerable concern for the safety of construction sights has been increased due to serious accidents. There have been numerous big improvements in preventing the accidents by strengthening legal enforcement and by continuing to emphasize the safety management. Further, the safety standards and criteria for temporary constructional work have been enacted and established in order to maintain safe work environments in temporary construction and structure settings. However, the death rate from fall accidents is still high in the temporary constructional and structural settings in comparison to other work places in construction. According to the analysis of accidents in the field of construction between 2000 and 2007, the death rate from fall accidents in the temporary constructional settings was highest. In addition, there have been more fall accidents in the work setting by small or medium construction enterprises rather than large enterprises due to the relative lack of the safety management. Thus, in this study, the analysis of the causes of fall accidents in the temporary constructional and structural settings between 2000 and 2007 was conducted. Moreover, a survey study was carried out in order to investigate further causes based on the analysis. Finally, this study was also conducted in order to provide basic information and knowledge about the prevention of future accidents.

  • As domestic buildings have been large-scaled, diversified and high-rise, there have been a consistent demand for design, development of construction technology and accident prevention activity as well as quality enhancement. In spite of governmental and related institutions' efforts for reducing national losses which come from numerous accidents, there have been endless small and large accidents on the construction site and thus, it is urgent to conduct empirical researches in this area. Currently safety supervision system in construction industry has enforced harm and danger prevention planning system, however it merely stick to other existing materials. In addition, it is difficult to put it into practice in that it requires bearing too much burden to draw out the planning itself in a case of large construction work. Consequently in this paper we select evaluation criteria by construction progress, classify into several categories, and regard potential danger which often occurs, as a evaluation criterion. Further step is to allow workers or collaborated companies to express their expert opinions or experiences and to encourage quality and process control and autonomous safety control by applying PSM method. The reason why PSM method should be quantitative and substantial progress is because it contributes Korean constructing companies to enhancing their safety control ability and to taking an equal stance just like developed countries,' thereby strengthening there competitive edges. Boost of safety control system by PSM method will make an enormous contribution to preventing construction accidents on the site by establishing and securing an autonomous safety control system.
