케이블 돔 구조물 설계를 위한 수치해석 방법 (A Numerical Analysis Approach for Design of Cable Dome Structures)

  • This paper deals with the method of self-equilibrium stress mode analysis of cable dome structures. From the point of view of analysis, cable dome structure is a kind of unstable truss structure which is stabilized by means of introduction of prestressing. The prestress must be introduced according to a specific proportion among different structural member and it is determined by an analysis called self-equilibrium stress mode analysis. The mathematical equation involved in the self-equilibrium stress mode analysis is a system of linear equations which can be solved numerically by adopting the concept of Moore-Penrose generalized inverse. The calculation of the generalized inverse is carried out by rank factorization method. This method involves a parameter called epsilon which plays a critical role in self-equilibrium stress mode analysis. It is thus of interest to investigate the range of epsilon which produces consistent solution during the analysis of self-equilibrium stress mode.

  • Recently new materials, such as fiber reinforced polymer(FRP) and other composite materials are being applied in reinforcing plate or plate or prestressing cables of concrete structures. Although these new materials themselves show the excellent durability and high strength, the bond behaviour between concrete surface and FRP is not well recognized. Therefore, this paper propose a evaluation method for effective bond length between fiber reinforced polymer(FRP) and concrete. To develop the evaluation method, this paper presents a review of current evaluation methods for effective bond length. These methods are compared by single face test, expose merits and demerits. And based on them, new evaluation method was developed. Finally, the new method was compared with existing methods to verify a adequateness for evaluation of effective bond length.

  • This paper presents the results of a study on improvement in flexure capacities of RC beams strenthened with near surface mounted prestressed CFRP rod and plate. Experimental variables include type of CFRP, prestressing level and existence of MI(Mechanical Interlocking). Tests show that prestressed beams exhibit a higher crack-load as well as a higher steel-yielding load compared to no-prestressed strengthened beams.

  • Serviceability resign is required to control the cracking at the joint of precast decks having longitudinal prestress in continuous composite bridges. Especially, details of twin girder bridges are complex not only due to main reinforcements and transverse prestress for the resign of long-span concrete slabs but also due to shear pockets for obtaining the composite action. This paper suggests the design guidelines for the magnitude of the effective prestress and for the selection of filling materials and their requirements in order to use precast decks for twin-girder continuous composite bridges. The necessary initial prestress was also evaluated through the long-term behavior analysis. From the analysis, existing design examples were revised and their effectiveness was estimated. When a filling material having bonding strength higher than the requirement is used in the region of high negative moment, uniform configuration of longitudinal prestressing steels along the whole span length of continuous composite bridges can be achieved resulting in simplification of details and enhancement of the construction costs.

강-콘크리트 혼합거더 접합부의 정적 거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Static Behavior of Connection for the Steel-Concrete Hybrid Girder)

  • This paper focuses on the static behavior of prestressed and non-prestressed connections for the steel-concrete hybrid girder. Based on the experimental study, it is found that the girder with non-prestressed connection failed by local concrete failure at the connection area, and the studs are taken out from the concrete. In case of the girder with prestressed joint, the failure of the girder is initiated by the crack at the varying section area. The test results show that the girder with prestressed connection has higher load carrying capacity compare to the girder with non-prestressed connection by 12%. Therefore, the application of prestressing at the concrete-steel connection recommended for the more secure connection.

  • In this study, various fundamental experiments including durability and time-dependent deformation are performed to compile a database for a utilization of high-strength concrete for PSC bridges. In the mix design, concrete strength at early age when prestressing forces are introduced to the PSC member and slumpflow suitable for pumping of concrete are considered to make a concrete fit for PSC bridges. The main parameters investigated are the kinds and replacement ratios of mineral admixtures and low-heat cement. Experimental tests on durability include penetration of chloride ions, freezing-thawing, combined deterioration, and simple adiabatic temperature rise test. In addition, time-dependent deformation such as creep, drying and autogenous shrinkage, which is particularly important factor in the design and construction of PSC bridges, is tested and analyzed.

  • 본 논문은 프리텐션 콘크리트 부재에 긴장력을 도입할 때, 부재의 단부에서 발생하는 동적 거동을 실험적으로 고찰한 논문으로 용접 절단에 의해 긴장력을 도입하는 경우와 유압잭을 사용하여 긴장력을 도입하는 경우에 발생하는 동적 거동을 비교 분석하였다. 용접 절단을 사용하여 긴장력을 도입할 때보다 유압잭을 사용할 때 긴장력 도입 시간이 더 짧게 소요되었지만, 단부에서의 긴장력 손실은 오히려 용접 절단을 사용할 때 더 큰 것으로 확인됐다.

  • 본 연구는 기존 PSC 교량 형식들이 지닌 단점을 극복하고, 시공성 및 경제성, 그리고 유지관리의 효율성을 모두 갖춘 새로운 거더를 개발함에 있다. HWPC 거더는 중공과 다단계 긴장을 통해 전 단면을 동일하게 함으로써 사하중의 감소, 지간의 장경간화를 이루는데 목적이 있다.

  • PSC 거더의 장경간화 기법들이 경간 증가에 미치는 기여도를 일목요연하고 용이하게 평가할 수 있는 방법론을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 허용응력설계법에 근거한 PSC 거더의 단계별 안전성 평가식을 프리스트레싱 텐던의 개수와 경간의 관계를 나타내는 그래프로 치환하여 설계 가능 영역을 찾아내는 방식이다.

  • 본 연구에서는 최근 활용이 증가하고 있는 초고성능 콘크리트에서의 강연선 활용에 관한 기초자료를 마련하기 위해, 실험을 통해 프리텐션 부재로 제작되는 UHPC 부재의 응력전달길이를 고찰하였다. 실험 변수는 UHPC의 피복두께와 도입되는 긴장력의 크기로 설정하였으며, 실험 결과 프리텐션 UHPC의 응력전달길이는 피복두께가 작아질수록 도입 긴장력이 클수록 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.
