  • High-rise buildings with stack effect caused by the foreclosure, which significantly delayed the spread of a fire in effects of these stack effect driving force said. In this research on the stack effect of the lobby if the pressurization of the stairwell analysis of the pressure distribution of the CONTAMW. Overall, the pressurization of the lobby makes it stairwell amount of pressure(+) to the zone in pressure designed to prevent the spread of smoke control performance and found that, the way a normal state and sub-pressurization in the stairwell with stack effect of the turbulence Such as the formation of the upper flow, but, in the upper atmosphere with pressurization was formed by the underlying trend.

  • 건물화재시에 연기에 의한 피난자의 위험을 감소시키고 소방대의 구조활동을 원활히 하기 위하여 건물 외부의 공기를 이용, 건물내부의 일부를 가압하는 가압방연시스템이 이용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 건물의 가압방연시스템을 설계하기 위하여 건물의 각 요소, 방, 로비, 계단실, 급기샤프트 등을 연결하는 유로를 구성하여 각 요소에서의 압력손실과 유량을 계산할 수 있는 컴퓨터 프로그램을 개발하였다. 본 프로그램을 이용하여 가압용 송풍기의 적절한 용량선정과 송풍기의 용량 최적화를 위한 방안을 강구하였다.

  • This paper reports an analysis of self-pressurization in a closed cryogenic liquid storage system and its comparison with experimental data using liquid nitrogen. Partial equilibrium model(PEM), revised thermodynamic analysis of homogeneous model, has been applied for the pressurization in a closed tank. The vapor and liquid bulk temperature and the liquid-vapor interface temperature are separately calculated as their own representative values in this analysis. The analysis results of the partial equilibrium model are compared with the experimental data and other preceding homogeneous temperature models for validation.

  • In a supercooled or capsule type ice storage system, aqueous solution (or water) may have trouble with non-uniform dissolution though the system contributes to the simplicity of system and ecological improvement. The non-uniform dissolution increases the instability of the system because it may cause an ice blockage in pipe or cooling part. In order to observe the supercooled state, a cooling experiment was performed with pressurization to an ethylene glycol(EG) 3 mass% solution in stationary state. Also, the effect of the pressurization from 101 to 505 kPa to the dissolution of supercooled aqueous solution was measured with the dissolution time of the supercooled aqueous solution at a fixed cooling rate of brine. At results, the dissolution of supercooled point decreased as the pressure of the aqueous solution in the vessel increased. Moreover, the dissolution point increased as the heat flux for cooling increased.

  • 액체로켓 추진기관의 추진제 공급계 개발을 위한 추진제 탱크 가압시스템의 주요 변수들을 계산하는 설계방법이 본 논문에서 제시되었다 가압 유체의 공급 조건들이 추진제 탱크 내부에서 발생하는 열역학적 프로세스의 효율성에 미치는 영향을 분석하였고 이를 바탕으로 하여 추진제 탱크 입구에서의 가압 유체의 최적 공급온도, 공급 속도를 계산하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 극저온 추진제 탱크가 가스 헬륨(GHe) 버블링에 의해 가압될 때 극저온 추진제의 열역학 변수들에 대한 계산 방법을 제시하였다. 헬륨 분사를 이용한 액체 산소(LOX)와 액체 수소($LH_2$) 탱크의 가압 과정에서의 극저온 추진제 온도와 추진제로 용해되는 가스 헬륨의 질량을 분석하였다. 해석 결과를 통해 헬륨 버블링이 LOX와 $LH_2$의 열역학적 변수들에 어떻게 영향을 주는지 확인하였다. 제시된 계산 방법을 통해 가압 시스템으로써 헬륨 버블링의 실현 가능성과 헬륨 버블링을 이용한 가압 시스템의 최적화가 가능할 것이다.

The non-uniform release increases the instability of the system because it may cause an ice blockage in pipe or cooling part. In order to suppress the release of the supercooling, a cooling experiment was tried to an ethylene glycol(EG) 3 mass% solution corresponding with pressurization. Also, the frequency ratio of the release of the supercooling was measured to the pressurization from 101 to 505 kPa. At results, the frequency ratio of supercooling release tends to decrease as the pressure of the aqueous solution increased in each cooling rate. Moreover, it tends to decrease as the cooling rate of the solution decreased in each pressure.

  • In the fire protection system or fire fighting water supply system, the jockey pump is generally installed for the prevention of the pressure decrease of pipes, the frequent driving of the fire pump and protection the pipes from the water hammer. In this paper, the pressure-rise in fire fighting water distribution pipes in condition of pipe pressurization by the surge tank at the start-up and the sudden-stop of the fire pump without additional installation of jockey pump is considered by using simple formula calculations and the evaluation of water hammer occurrence in condition of pipe pressurization by the surge tank is included. As a result, the pressure-rise of pipes is less than the pipe design pressure at the condition of pump's start-up and sudden stop, and the possibility of water hammer occurrence is remarkably low due to pressurization of the pipes by the surge tank.

  • 터보펌프식 발사체 추진기관의 기체공급계 개발과정을 통하여 두 가지 방식의 가압시스템과 저중량 배관시스템에 대한 국산화 개발을 수행하였다. 서브시스템 시험을 통해 액체산소 얼리지 압력을 일정하게 유지시키기 위한 1단 및 2단 감압방식 가압시스템의 제어 성능을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 열/유체적 측면과 구조적 측면을 체계적으로 고려하여 배관 시스템의 요구성능을 만족하고 발사체에서 요구되는 수준까지 무게가 저감된 배관 시스템 개발을 개발하였다. 이와 아울러 터보펌프에서의 케비테이션 방지 및 지상 대기시간동안에 배관에서 발생할 수 있는 가이저링을 방지하기 위한 액체 산소 컨디셔닝 기술을 확립할 수 있었다. 또한 가압부/산화제 공급계 연계시험을 통해 시스템 차원의 성능을 확인할 수 있었다.

Simulation of Containment Pressurization in a Large Break-Loss of Coolant Accident Using Single-Cell and Multicell Models and CONTAIN Code

  • Since the inception of nuclear power as a commercial energy source, safety has been recognized as a prime consideration in the design, construction, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants. The release of radioactivity to the environment requires the failure of multiple safety systems and the breach of three physical barriers: fuel cladding, the reactor cooling system, and containment. In this study, nuclear reactor containment pressurization has been modeled in a large break-loss of coolant accident (LB-LOCA) by programming single-cell and multicell models in MATLAB. First, containment has been considered as a control volume (single-cell model). In addition, spray operation has been added to this model. In the second step, the single-cell model has been developed into a multicell model to consider the effects of the nodalization and spatial location of cells in the containment pressurization in comparison with the single-cell model. In the third step, the accident has been simulated using the CONTAIN 2.0 code. Finally, Bushehr nuclear power plant (BNPP) containment has been considered as a case study. The results of BNPP containment pressurization due to LB-LOCA have been compared between models, final safety analysis report, and CONTAIN code's results.
