Family 금형의 충전 균형을 위한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study for the Filling Balance of the Family Mold)

  • It is well known that the family-mold has an advantage to reduce the cost for production and mold. However, defects are frequently occurred by over packing the smaller volume cavity during molding, especially when the family-mold has a volumetric difference between two cavities. In this study, the cavity-filling imbalance was confirmed by the temperature and the pressure sensors, and a variable-runner system was developed for balancing the cavity-filling. Experiments of balancing the cavity filling was carried out in the family-mold with the variable-runner system, and balancing the cavity-filling was confirmed by changing the cross-sectional area of a runner in the variable-runner system with the temperature and pressure sensors. The influence of the injection speed to the balancing-capability of the variable-runner system was also examined in the experiment.

  • It is well known that the family-mold has an advantage to reduce the cost for production and mold. In this study, we confirmed the cavity-filling imbalance by the temperature and the pressure sensors, and developed a variable-runner system for the cavity-filling balance. We carried out experiments fur balancing the cavity filling in the family-mold with the variable-runner system, and confirmed a balanced cavity-filing through analyzing the temperature and pressure change in each cavity as the cross-sectional area of the runner changed. We also examined the influence of the injection-speed to the balancing-capability of the variable-runner system in the experiment.

Temperature-Compensative Displacement Sensor based on a Pair of Fiber Bragg Gratings Attached to a Metal Band

  • This paper proposes a new temperature-compensative displacement sensor with a pair of fiber Bragg gratings (FBG) attached to the inner and outer surfaces of an elastic metal band. The sensor can be also used as a temperature sensor with high sensitivity. The FBG pair shifted Bragg wavelengths in the same direction according to changes in the temperature. However, because the pressure of the metal band shifted a pair of Bragg wavelengths in the opposite direction, the displacement sensor could compensate for the effect of the temperature change in the proposed FBG pair. Results of the experiments showed that the two FBG displacement sensors responded linearly and symmetrically with respect to the displacement, and the displacement could be obtained using the difference between the two Bragg wavelengths.

높은 압력차의 유동모드 하에서 ER유체의 유변특성 (Rheological Characteristics of ER Fluids at High Pressure-Driven Flow Mode)

  • 본 논문은 높은 압력차의 유동모드 하에서의 정상전단거동을 고찰하였다. ER유체 조성에 사용된 비전도성 용매는 10cS의 점도를 갖는 트랜스포머 오일이 사용되었으며, 전도성 입자의 중량비를 20 wt%와 30 wt%로 조절하여 입자 중량비에 대한 영향을 고찰하였다. 두 가지로 조성된 수계 ER유체를 ERF 1과 ERF 2로 칭하였으며, 성능 비교를 위하여 외국의 우수하다고 알려진 비수계 ER유체인 ERF 3를 사용한 실험도 실시하였다. 높은 압력차의 유동모드를 발생시키기 위해, 양방향 유압 실린더를 이용하여 고압의 질소 가스로 작동되는 실험 장치를 자체 제작하였다. 전극 앞에 장착된 압력 센서를 통해 전극 양단의 압력차를 구하고, 실린더 로드에 부착된 변위센서로부터 측정한 피스톤 속도를 유량 계산의 기초 자료로 사용하였다. 유동모드에 대한 유체역학적 해석을 통해 유도된 수식을 인용했으며, 위의 기초 자료와 수식을 이용하여 유동모드형 응용 장치에 적용하기 위한 전단변형률에 대한 전단응력의 결과를 도출하였다.

The Effects of the Upright Body Type Exercise Program on Body Balance and Record of Archers

  • Objective: This study aimed to analyze how the upright body type exercise program affected body balance and record of archers. This study aimed to prove the effectiveness of upright body type exercise, on this basis, in enhancing the performance of archery players. Method: A total of 14 archers (7 men and 7 women) in B Metropolitan City who had ${\geq}4years$ of career in archery and were given explanation of its contents and purpose before giving spontaneous consent to the experiment were enrolled in the study. The upright body type exercise program was implemented thrice a week for 12 weeks, with higher exercise intensity with time. A resistive pressure sensor, Gaitview AFA-50, was used to measure the foot plantar pressure distribution and analyze quantitative information concerning variation in posture stability and weight shift in dynamic balance of foot plantar pressure in shooting and static balance of plantar pressure with the eyes open and closed and the change in archery record accompanying the change in body balance. Results: As for the differences in foot plantar pressure between before and after participation in the upright body type exercise program, there was no significant difference in static balance of foot plantar pressure with the eyes open, and there was statistically significant difference at the ${\alpha}=.05$ significance level in static balance of foot plantar pressure with the eyes closed or in dynamic balance of foot plantar pressure in shooting. There was statistically significant difference at the ${\alpha}=.05$ significance level in archery record. Conclusion: The upright body type exercise program had positive effects on static and dynamic balance of foot plantar pressure by allowing archers to experience less body sway and physical imbalance in shooting with closed eyes and positive effects on archery record. Thus, the program is expected to help archers correct their posture and perform better.

전자기력에 의한 자성유체의 2차원 자유표면 형상 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Two-dimensional Formation Control of Free Surface of Magnetic Fluid by Electromagnetic Force)

  • In this study, the control of the free surface deformation of a magnetic fluid for the change in electromagnetic force is discussed. The free surface of magnetic fluid is formed by the balance of surface force, gravity, pressure difference, magnetic normal pressure and magnetic body force. Magnetic fluid in characteristics of fluid adjusted to the opposite direction of the gravity direction. Thus, the device of a magnetic fluid proposed the complete zero-leakage sealing, oscillator for surface control, boundary layer control, MHD, flow control, flow using magnetic levitation system and surface actuator. This study show the deformation of surface rise due to the intensity of the magnetic field and possibility of two-dimensional control of magnetic fluid through the feedback data of hall sensor.

Unscented Kalman Filter를 이용한 원격 RF 센서 시스템 구현 (Implementation of Passive Telemetry RF Sensor System Using Unscented Kalman Filter Algorithm)

  • In this paper, Passive Telemerty RF Sensor System using Unscented Kalman Filter algorithm(UKF) is proposed. General Passive Telemerty RF Sensor System means that it should be "wireless", "implantable" and "batterless". Conventional Passive Telemerty RF Sensor System adopts Integrated Circuit type, but there are defects like complexity of structure and limit of large power consumption in some cases. In order to overcome these kinds of faults, Passive Telemetry RF Sensor System based on inductive coupling principle is proposed in this paper. Because passive components R, L, C have stray parameters in the range of high frequency such as about 200[KHz] used in this paper, Passive Telemetry RF Sensor System considering stray parameters has to be derived for accurate model identification. Proposed Passive Telemetry RF Sensor System is simple because it consists of R, L and C and measures the change of environment like pressure and humidity in the type of capacitive value. This system adopted UKF algorithm for estimation of this capacitive parameter included in nonlinear system like Passive Telemetry RF Sensor System. For the purpose of obtaining learning data pairs for UKF Algorithm, Phase Difference Detector and Amplitude Detector are proposed respectively which make it possible to get amplitude and phase between input and output voltage. Finally, it is verified that capacitive parameter of proposed Passive Telemetry RF Sensor System using UKF algorithm can be estimated in noisy environment efficiently.

RLS 알고리즘을 이용한 원격 RF 센서 시스템의 정전용량 파라메타 추정 (Capacitive Parameter Estimation of Passive Telemetry RF Sensor System Using RLS Algorithm)

  • In this paper, Capacitive Telemetry RF Sensor System using Recursive Least Square (RLS) algorithm was proposed. General Telemetry RF Sensor System means that it should be "wireless", "implantable" and "batterless". Conventional Telemetry RF Sensor System adopts Integrated Circuit type, but there are many defects like complexity of structure and the limitation of large power consumption in some cases. In order to overcome these disadvantages, Telemetry RF Sensor System based on inductive coupling principle was proposed in this paper. Proposed Telemetry RF Sensor System is very simple because it consists of R, L and C and measures the changes of environment like pressure and humidity in the type of capacitive value. This system adopted RLS algorithm for estimation of this capacitive parameter. For the purpose of applying RLS algorithm, proposed system was mathematically modelled with phasor method and was quasi-linearized. As two parameters such as phase and amplitude of output voltage for estimation were needed, Phase Difference Detector and Amplitude Detector were proposed respectively which were implemented using TMS320C2812 made by Texas Instrument. Finally, It is verified that the capacitance of proposed telemetry RF Sensor System using RLS algorithm can be estimated efficiently under noisy environment.

원격 측정을 위한 간섭형 광섬유 센서 시스템과 그의 압력 센서 응용 (Fiber-Optic Interferometric Sensor System for Remote Sensing and Its Application to Pressure Sensing)

  • 간섭형 광섬유 센서의 경우 소자의 구성만 적절히 바꾸어 다른 종류의 측정에도 사용될 수 있다는 점에 착안하여 여러 종류의 센서를 동시에 신호처리할 수 있는 원격 다중화 광섬유 센서 시스템을 구현하였다. 구현된 센서 시스템의 신호처리는 간단한 광학 구성으로 원격 다중화 측정이 가능하도록 광섬유 Fabry-Perot 간섭형 센서배열을 가정하여 피측정량의 변화에 의한 간섭 무늬의 수만 카운트하는 디지털 신호처리로 구성되었다. 광섬유의 광학 효과에 대한 데이터를 종합함으로써 센서 시스템에 부착할 센서를 구현하기 위해 적합한 광학효과를 선택하는 기준을 제시하였으며, 한 예로서 반경 4.3 cm의 원형 다이아프램 중앙에 광섬유 Fabry-Perot 간섭계를 부착하여 광섬유의 스트레인 광학 효과를 이용하게 구성한 압력센서 1개를 센서 시스템에 연결하여 간섭형 광섬유 압력 센서 시스템을 구성하였다. 압력센서의 동작을 수조실험에서 확인함으로써 압력의 원격 측정이 가능함을 보였으며, 수조 실험의 길과 2 m의 측정범위에서 오차는 ${\pm}3.6\;cm$이내인 것으로 나타났다.

모터링 압력측정을 통한 상사점 결정방법에 관한 연구 (A study on TDC crank angle determination by motoring pressure measurement)

  • A disk photo sensor system was constructed and installed on engine for the crank angle measurement. Statically measured TDC crank angle data were compared with those obtained from engine motoring. Two groups of cylinder pressure data were compared each other, one measured by pressure transducer mounted flush on the combustion chamber and the other obtained with the help of spark plug type adaptor. A simple analysis on the gas flow in the spark plug type pressure transducer displayed reasonably good agreement with those from engine motoring tests. In various firing tests, the IMERs obtained from the spark plug type pressure transducer turned out to be higher than those from the flush mounted one at low engine speed while those two were nearly the same at high engine speed. As the engine load decreased the relative difference in IMEP measurement between the two types tended to be enlarged.
