Both the accuracy and stability of the clock get from the GPS receiver are considered in the range of pps. And we verified the system clock stability of a micro-controller system using the pps pulse supplied by the GPS receiver. In complex system of digital processing, the rack of precise timing signal may cause the serious problem or breakdown accident. To get rid of these undesirable problems, we introduced VCXO circuit to a micro-controller system to preserve high accurate clock stability.

In this paper, we review some class of t-norms on which fuzzy arithmetic operations preserve the shapes of fuzzy numbers and the Hausdorff-distance between fuzzy numbers as the measure of distance between fuzzy numbers. And we suggest the least Hausdorff-distance square method for fuzzy linear regression model using shape preserving fuzzy arithmetic operations.

Increasing the oil volume in the oil : water mixtures using isopropyl myristate, oleic acid as oils, the solubilities of methyl, propyl and butyl parabens and the MICs (minimum hibitory concentrations) to E. coli were increased. But in liquid paraffin, the solubility was reversed. The relation between MIC and solubility of parabens had constant factor of 0.7 as saturation fraction percent. The solubility of methyl paraben was crossed over in those of propyl and butyl parabens, when the oil volume was increased. When the oil was used over the cross-over point, methyl paraven was useful to preserve the systems, and below the cross-over point the more lipophilic propyl and/or butyl parabens were effective.

It is essential to our economy that preserve the cement industry which has contributed to the growth of construction industry. However, it has not been easy to come up with constructing Silo complex in downtown area due to the opposition of residents, and lack of the supply base aroused the troubles in provision of cement. The main objective of this paper lies in making plans for constructing Silo complex and estimating logistics costs affected by the alternative complex.

The spanning column rank of an $m{\times}n$ integer matrix A is the minimum number of the columns of A that span its column space. We compare the spanning column rank with column rank of matrices over the ring of integers. We also characterize the linear operators that preserve the spanning column rank of integer matrices.

In this paper we present the linear combination of a fuzzy opening and closing filter with locally adaptive structuring elements that can preserve the geometrical features of an image. Based on the adaptation algorithm of linear combination of the fuzzy opening and closing filter, the optimal structuring element for image representation is obtained. The optimal structuring element is an indicator of the shape and direction of an object's image, which is useful in filtering, multi resolution, segmentation, and recognition of an image.

About twenty ancient reservoirs in Korea have been the subjects of the archaeological investigation. Some of them have been still remained today, but among them, only Byeokgolje of Gimje city(金堤碧骨堤) and Cheongje of Yeongcheon(永川菁堤) have been verified when they were constructed. According to the investigation, the first reservoir in Korea is Jeojeons-ri reservoir of Andong city(安東 苧田里 貯水池). The aim of this study is investigating the reservoirs by their historical values to preserve and utilize them.

The authors report methods of fabrication singlelayer color cholesteric liquid crystal displays (CLCDs). A single-layer CLCD has been prepared from a polymerstabilized cholesteric liquid crystal. The unique feature of the polymer stabilization is in that the electrically switched colors preserve high reflectivity. A bistable single-layer CLCD has been prepared by the formation of polymer barrier walls and light-tuned cholesteric pitches to reflect blue, green and red color sub-pixels.

In this paper, we construct the sets of fuzzy matrix pairs. These sets are naturally occurred at the extreme cases for the zero-term rank inequalities derived from the multiplication of fuzzy matrix pairs. We characterize the linear operators that preserve these extreme sets of fuzzy matrix pairs.

This paper presents a design of two gimbal system. One is two axes stabilized platform that is targeted to preserve direction while vehicle that is adhered antiaircraft fire, radar or EOTS is moving. The system maintains stabilization by recovering error using the rate gyro. The other is three axes gimbal system that is intended to simulate various angle movement in space and to test three axes gyroscope. This system determines gyro condition comparing gyro output value with converted motor encoder value.
